Previous Recorded Monday, October 17"Good evening everyone, I'm Leonard T. Asherman."
"During the late hours on Saturday, October 15, 2016, Zero McHannon stated his intentions to leave Frontier Grappling Arts and take the FGA World Championship title belt with him. Myself and other members of the Executive Committee had reached out to Mr. McHannon. However, attempts to contact Mr. McHannon were blocked as he has refused any and all means of communication with FGA Officials."
"FGA is a very proud company. Throughout its rich history, this company has seen some of the biggest names come through these doors and call this company home. However, regardless of their stature in the world of professional wrestling, no one individual is bigger than the company. Therefore, due to refusing to comply and adhere to the contract that he signed, in addition to taking company property, effectively immediately, FGA no longer recognizes Zero McHannon as its World Champion and will declare the championship vacant."
"The FGA World Championship will not stay vacant for a prolonged period of time. Starting on Episode 23 of Vertigo, FGA will be hosting a four round tournament called the Wildcard Lottery. Sixteen FGA grapplers will be chosen at random. The first round will consist of four tag team matches, with grapplers being teamed up in the order that their names were selected. The quarterfinals of the tournament will see those advancing tag team partners face each other in singles competition."
"The four remaining participants will then advance to the 5th Year Anniversary Show on November 12, where the semifinals and finals of the tournament will be held. It'll be on that night where FGA will crown its new World Champion. In addition to winning the championship, the tournament winner will also receive $100,000." Kris Cruise Voiceover: The tournament to crown a new World Champion begins here tonight in Illinois! Savannah Taylor, Izzy Anders, Salem Cartier, Nero Darling, Dan Herrera, Cordy Stevenson, Johnny Karma, Noelle Smith, Annie Zellor, Chris Madison, Molly Reid, Ruby Tyler, Tony Carmine, Ryan LeCavalier, Johnny Cannon and Kevin Hardaway have all been selected! 16 will enter the ring throughout the night with World Championship aspirations! But by the end of the night, only four will remain! Who will be eliminated!? Who will advance!? Find out TONIGHT!

¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tres! ¡Catorce!
Hello hello (Hola) I'm at a place called Vertigo (Donde esta?) It's everything I wish I didn't know Except you give me something I can feel, feel
Yea, yea, yea, yea, yea, yea, yea, yea Yea, yea, yea, yea, yea, yea, yea, yea Prairie Capital Convention Center Springfield, IL
FIRST ROUND OF THE WILDCARD LOTTERY TOURNAMENT Savannah Taylor & Izzy Anders vs. Salem Cartier & Nero Darling The lights dim down before the opening strains of "Hate Me Now" by Nas sweep through the arena and the Nerolings begin screaming in anticipation. Teal blue lights sweep through the crowd and over the ring until they center on Nero Darling. She steps out onto the stage, her face and signature blue hair hidden under the hood of a black sweatshirt. Her head bowed so that her face is in the shadows of the hoodie as she pauses at the top of the ramp. It's been a long time, been a long time comin' It's life or death for me now But you know, there's no turning back now This what makes me, this what I am... As the beat picks up intensity, Nero stretches her arms out and walks slowly towards the ring. The lights pick up the words on the back of her hoodie, cursive and embossed in gold, "Ms. 502". She basks in the screams and cheers of the audience and hides a bright grin in the shadows of her hoodie. You can hate me now, but I won't stop now Cause I can't stop now, you can hate me now, c'mon. But I won't stop now, cause I can't stop now You can hate me now, you can hate me now... She finally breaks into a run, sliding into the ring on her stomach and popping up to her feet as she throws the hoodie off and runs to the ring ropes, hopping up on the middle rope with her arms outstretched. She holds the pose as the beat picks up around her and she blows kisses to her fans, many of whom are holding up signs emblazoned with her name and hearts. Well you hate me, I'm gon' hate you too It's as simple as that Die motherf*cker, die motherf*cker, die You don't give a f*ck, I don't give a f*ck Go down any way you want it to go down Weak, jealous motherf*ckers F*ck y'all! J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a First Round Match in the Wildcard Lottery Tournament! Introducing first, from the Kentuckies! Weighing in at 120 pounds! She is THE GLORIOUS LEADER… NERO DARLING! "I'll get you my pretty... and your little dog too!" "There's no place like home!" The funky drum beat and riff of 'Phenomena' by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs fills the arena and the quirky yet energetic Salem Cartier appears at the entrance wearing a hooded dark purple leather tailcoat with huge silver buttons, the hood pulled over her eyes. She carries a silver cane, the top a silver claw gripping a dark purple crystal that has a plasma globe effect. She's tapping her foot and bopping her head to the beat... She raises both hands and motions for the fans to get hyped, swinging the cane, then bops her way toward the ring in time with the song, popping her shoulders up and down, swaying her arms around with a coy smile and wink to the audience. "Hey! Don't touch, kid; sleep with the lights on Touch, kid; how you surprise me Now roll kid, rock your body off!" She steps up the ring steps, throws her hood back, clutches the top rope and puts her feet on the bottom rope, gazing around and rocking up and down on the ropes... "You're something like a phenomena Something like an astronoma' Now roll kid, rock your body off!" She slides through the ropes, twirls off her jacket with a flourish and drops to a knee in the center of the ring, extending her arms out holding up the cane and playing to the crowd as the music fades. She takes the jacket and cane to the corner, ready for the match. J.A. Aldridge: Introducing her partner, now residing out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada! Weighing in at 130 pounds! She is the reigning FGA Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion… SALEM CARTIER! A somber strum of a guitar echoed out throughout the arena. The lights in the arena began to dim to a haunting dark purple color. From behind the curtain, a figure comes out. She lingers in the darkness, before creeping into the spotlight. She wears a long, dark cloak; it softly breezes in the wind. When "One More Soul to the Call" by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn begins to pick up, she unfastens the coat. She takes it off in a heavy flourish, the song picks up completely, transforming into a hard rock song. ♫ DAMAGE DONE TO THE FLESH, WHAT THEY SAID, IN THE NAME OF THE... DAMAGE DONE TO THE HEART, IS THE START, OF THE END! DAMAGE DONE TO MY SOUL, I KNOW, IT KNOWS WHERE MY... DAMAGE DONE TO MY LIFE, CURSING LOUD, AT THE CHAOS ♫ J.A. Aldridge: Their opponents! Introducing first, fighting out of Holland, Michigan! Weighing in at 157 pounds! She is the “Mindkiller” … IZZY ANDERS! ♫ ONE MORE SOUL TO THE CALL, FOR ALL, IN SILENCE... COMES TWO MORE SOULS TO THE CALL, FOR ALL, AND IN TIME! THREE MORE MORE SOULS TO THE CALL, THEY FALL... UNKNOWING THAT FOUR MORE SOULS TO THE CALL, WON'T BE ALL, AND YOU KNOW IT! ♫ Izzy ascends the turnbuckle, her eyepatch clear as day. She grabs onto it, ripping it off with a dramatic elegance. The eye under it burns brightly with a shade of red. She leaps off the turnbuckle, walking methodically to the center of the ring. There, she poses once more, enjoying the haunting and heavy rhythm of her own song. She looks up to the sky, smiling wickedly. She awaits the match to start with a sadistic aura radiating off her. There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As the song continues, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper. Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see Opinions not mine, the person they taught me to be One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you. On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage. Inside me a light was turned on… The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies. Then I was alive! In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body. If you close your eyes your life, A naked truth revealed Dreams you never lived, And scars never healed Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do. In the darkness, light will take you to the other side You'll find me waiting there you'll see, if you just close your eyes While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. She stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon. J.A. Aldridge: Introducing her partner, from Las Vegas, Nevada! Weighing in at 120 pounds… SAVANNAH TAYLOR! Kris Cruise: Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Vertigo! I'm Kris Cruise and joining me as always is my colleague, Stephy Auger! With eight big matches in the Wildcard Lottery Tournament here tonight, as well as additional competition, we're getting right to the action! Here we are getting our first look at the wildcard teams for tonight’s tournament. Savannah Taylor brought a fire to Retribution that we haven’t seen in awhile. She’s going to need that fire if she wants to advance her way throughout the night. Izzy Anders is putting the entire company on trial for, in her mind, failing to help her during her time of need. Could her burning desire for revenge fuel her throughout this evening? Salem Cartier recently won the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship. It may have taken three tries, but she finally got the job done by dethroning Annie Zellor. Could Salem be just four matches away from holding two championships? Then there’s Nero Darling, who is arguably the darkhorse of this entire tournament. Can she pull off the upset of all upsets? The match starts with Anders and Cartier standing off in the center of the ring. Cartier keeps her eyes locked on Anders. Anders replies with a sly smirk before stepping back. The two grapplers proceed to circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Cartier places Anders in a side headlock. But Anders is quick to move Cartier across the ring and towards the corner. After pressing Cartier up against the turnbuckles, the ref gives Cartier until the count of five to break the hold. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… As Cartier slowly breaks the hold and raises her arms in the air, Anders takes advantage by delivering a shoulder thrust to the midsection. The crowd continue to boo the cheap shot as she then follows up with machine gun punches in the corner. After grabbing a hold of Cartier by the arm, Anders takes the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion and whips her into the opposite corner. Anders charges across the ring and throws out a European Uppercut. The crowd cheers as Cartier moves out of the way, causing Anders to crash into the turnbuckles. Kris Cruise: Anders was charging full steam ahead into the corner. But Cartier got out of the way just in the nick of time! After turning Anders around, Cartier lights her up with a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena. Anders responds by spitting at Cartier, which elciits boos from the crowd. Kris Cruise: Did she … did she just SPIT at Salem!? Talk about disrespect! Stephy Auger: You want to talk about disrespect!? How about no one looking for Izzy Anders! How about THAT for disrespect!? Cartier responds by smacking the spit out of Anders’ mouth with a forearm palm strike, which causes the crowd to pop. Kris Cruise: How about that for a response!? Cartier takes Anders and whips her back into the previous corner. She then runs across the ring before delivering a corner cartwheel leaping hip attack. As Anders staggers from out of the corner, Cartier runs into the far ropes. When she returns, she knocks down Anders with a lariat takedown. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Anders gets her shoulder up. Cartier picks up Anders, wrenches her arm and drags her over towards the corner. After Cartier reaches her hand back, Darling reaches over the top rope and tags herself in. Kris Cruise: Here comes “The Glorious Leader”! Stephy Auger: If our glorious leader is someone that talks like a five year old, then I think we’re all screwed. The crowd cheers as Darling gets in and wrenches Anders’ arm. Darling then tags Cartier back in. Once Cartier re-enters the ring, she takes Anders by the arm and wrenches it. She then reaches over and tags Darling back in. Kris Cruise: Look at this? Darling and the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion are working like a well-seasoned tag team! Darling gets back in and wrenches the arm. But she’s quickly met with an eye rake, breaking the hold. While Darling is doubled over, Anders can be heard mockingly telling Darling, “fank yeeeeew” before knocking her down with an Axe Kick. Stephy Auger: Maybe that kicked knocked some sense into Darling. I doubt it. After dragging Darling to the center of the ring, Anders pulls her over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Darling gets her shoulder up. The crowd continues to boo that Anders picks up Darling and delivers a European Uppercut so hard that it knocks Darling back into Anders’ corner. Anders marches into the corner, kicks Darling and tags in Savannah Taylor. After Taylor gets in, she unleashes a series of knife edge chops. She then brings Darling from out of the corner before whipping her into the ropes. When Darling returns, Taylor tackles her down with a Lou Thesz before raining down rights and lefts. She then transitions into a lateral press. ONE! . . TWO! . . Darling gets her shoulder up. Taylor picks up Darling and whips her into the corner. Taylor then charges into the corner, but Darling counters with a back elbow to the face. As Taylor slowly stumbles back, the crowd cheers as Darling turns around, springboards to the top turnbuckle and knocks her down with a moonsault. ONE! . . TWO! . . Taylor gets her shoulder up. Kris Cruise: What a moonsault that was by Nero Darling! Stephy Auger: It was a nice looking move. But it only got two! You don’t win a match on style points, Cruise. Darling picks up Taylor, wrenches her ar, pulls her over towards her corner and tags Cartier back in. After Cartier gets in, she doubles Taylor over with a knee strike to the midsection. She then brings Taylor down with a rolling snapmare before delivering a spinning discuss knee. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Taylor gets her shoulder up. Cartier picks up Taylor and whips her into the ropes. When Taylor returns, Cartier knocks her down with a flying calf kick. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Taylor gets her shoulder up. Cartier picks up Taylor and whips her into the ropes. When Taylor returns, Cartier doubles her over with a punch to the midsection. She then lifts up Taylor for a leg-hook saito suplex. But Taylor slips down from behind before slamming Cartier down with a forward russian legsweep. Stephy Auger: Blonde Ambition! This could be it right here, Cruise! ONE! . . TWO! . . Darling breaks up the pin. Kris Cruise: Darling soared across the ring to make that save! Stephy Auger: That blue-haired freak! As Darling heads back over towards the ropes, Anders comes up from behind, grabs Darling and tosses her through the ropes and to the floor. Stephy Auger: Good! Back in the ring, the crowd continue to boo as Taylor marches into the corner and slams Cartier face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Cartier around, she fires off a chop before going for an irish whip. But Cartier reverses, sending Taylor into the opposite corner. She then runs across the ring, hops onto Taylor and plants her with a monkey flip DDT. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Anders breaks up the pin. Kris Cruise: Anders with the timely save! She nearly saw her championship hopes flash before her eyes. While Anders heads back out onto the apron, Cartier picks up Taylor and goes for an irish whip. Taylor ends up reversing and sends Cartier towards the ropes. Cartier uses her momentum to go and counter with a springboard back elbow. But Taylor counters with a dropkick to the back in mid air. After picking Cartier up off the apron, Taylor brings her down with a corkscrew neckbreaker. Kris Cruise: The Gamble by Taylor! Will it pay off? ONE! . . TWO! . . Cartier gets her shoulder up. Taylor picks up Cartier, brings her over towards the corner and tags Anders back in. After Taylor slams Cartier face-first into the top turnbuckle, Anders turns Cartier around, steps back and chokes her with her boot. While the ref is counting down, Anders mockingly cups her ear to the ref. Kris Cruise: Get a load of this attitude! Stephy Auger: I love it, Cruise! Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Anders lets go. She then brings Cartier from out of the corner before whipping her into the far ropes. When Cartier returns, she brings Anders down with a wheelbarrow bulldog. Kris Cruise: Cartier with the counter! Cartier slowly turns over and tries to crawl towards her corner. But Anders rolls over and grabs her by the ankle. So Cartier turns over onto her back before repeatedly kicking Anders in the face until she frees herself. Kris Cruise: She’s freed herself. Cartier scrambles back to her feet before staggering over to make the tag. But Taylor comes from out of nowhere at the last second and yanks Darling off the apron. Kris Cruise: Where the heck did she come from!? Stephy Auger: I don’t know but I’m glad she darted over there! Back in the ring, Cartier turns around into a step up enzuigiri that sends her flipping down to the canvas. Anders makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Cartier gets her shoulder up. Anders picks up Cartier and doubles her over with a knee to the midsection. She then hooks both arms to set up for a double underhook piledriver. But Cartier counters by breaking free and following with a back body drop. Kris Cruise: Cartier with the counter! After both grapplers slowly return to their feet, Cartier connects with a palm strike. Anders answers with a palm strike of her own. Cartier connects with another palm strike. Anders answers back with another palm strike of her own. Cartier nails her with another palm strike… and another… and another. Anders answers back by slapping the taste out of Cartier’s mouth. The crowd boos. Kris Cruise: C’mon, Izzy! That was totally uncalled for! Anders turns and takes off into the ropes. When Anders returns, the crowd cheers as Cartier sends her flipping down to the canvas with a basement dropkick. After Anders gets up on her knees, Cartier throws out a Buzzsaw Kick. But Anders ducks. When Cartier turns back around, Anders flips her off. So Cartier responds by connecting with the Buzzsaw Kick. Kris Cruise: She didn’t miss that time! Stephy Auger: Gah! Cartier pulls Anders back up onto her knees before taking off into the ropes, where she tags in Darling. When Cartier comes back, she delivers a somersault cutter. Kris Cruise: Cartier brings her down with that flipping cutter! Stephy Auger: Where’s that blue haired freak going? As Cartier rolls out of the ring, Darling scales to the top turnbuckle. Kris Cruise: This might be all she wrote. Darling leaps off and connects with a diving double foot stomp to the back. The crowd cheers while she turns Anders over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Anders gets her shoulder up. Stephy Auger: Phew! Darling picks up Anders and goes for an irish whip. But Anders reverses, sending Darling over towards the ropes, where Taylor nails her with a kick to the back of the head. Kris Cruise: Cheap shot by Taylor! Stephy Auger: When a chance at the World Title is on the line, you’ve got to pull out all the stops, Cruise! As Darling staggers towards the center of the ring, Anders doubles her over with a boot to the midsection before lifting her up and planting her with a double underhook piledriver. Stephy Auger: Spin The Black Circle REDUX! Anders heads into her corner and tags in Taylor, who immediately springboards to the top turnbuckle. She leaps off and connects with a Frog Splash. She hooks the leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . THRE-NO! Cartier dives over and breaks up the in. Kris Cruise: Cartier with the huge save! Anders immediately rushes into the ring and goes back and forth with Cartier. Anders knocks Cartier closer and closer to the ropes. She then steps back and throws out a clothesline. But Cartier ducks. When Anders turns around, Cartier lunges at Anders, taking them both over the top rope and to the floor with a Cactus Clothesline. Kris Cruise: There they go! Back in the ring, Taylor picks up Darling and whips her into the ropes. When Darling returns, she executes a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takeover. Taylor gets back to her feet, but Darling knocks her down to her knees with a step-up enzuigiri. The crowd continues to cheer as Darling quickly follows up with a kneeling DDT. Kris Cruise: Look at “The Glorious Leader” go! Darling steps out onto the apron and waves up Taylor. When Taylor gets up and faces her, Darling goes for a springboard flying forearm. But Taylor doubles her over with a punch to the midsection. She then quickly hooks Darling before planting her with a Scissored DDT. Stephy Auger: Siren’s Song! It’s all over, Cruise. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! “Just Close Your Eyes” blares throughout the arena as the crowd erupts with boos. J.A. Aldridge: Here are your winners, SAVANNAH TAYLOR and IZZY ANDERS! The ref raises Taylor’s arm in victory while the crowd continue to boo. [ COMMERCIAL BREAK ]

The cameras go outside to the parking lot, where Noelle Smith is seen, her bag set next to the brick wall in front of her. An overhead light casts brightness on her and the reason she’s there becomes clear as the cameras get closer, she’s in a warm-up suit that’s likely over her gear and she’s shadowboxing to warm up for the match - or potential matches, ahead of her tonight. Her motions are smooth, if she feels any pain from her past injuries there’s no indication in just watching her. After a few moments, her voice comes up, carrying over the vague traffic noise from the street near the venue.
Noelle Smith: I half expect it to be Izzy, finding me out here.
She pauses, taking a breath as she turns away from the brick wall, her expression is cautiously neutral.
Noelle Smith: You could join me, you know. It’s a lot more fun than it looks. It’s almost a little Zen, when you get really into it.
After a little coaxing we see who Noelle was speaking to, as Johnny Karma reluctantly saunters out of into view - and it looks like Cherry Baum has had to do a little prompting in order to get him to be a little more personable this evening
Cherry Baum: So...hi Noelle, how are things?
Cherry gives Karma a subtle nudge in the arm to give him the hint that it might be a good idea to be a little more chatty to his soon-to-be partner
Johnny Karma: Hey. We were...you know.
Once it’s clear Karma’s not going to follow up what he was saying, Cherry pats him on the arm before jumping back in
Cherry Baum: I’m sure you can guess why J-K’s feeling a little…distracted this evening, given all that’s gone down lately, but let’s put that to one side for a while and let’s talk about tonight.
For a second there’s a knowing look in Karma’s eye, which causes Cherry to quickly briefly break away from her conversation with Noelle to have a private chat with Karma where she appears to be telling Karma not to say anything, almost like he’s got something planned for this evening, and once the conflab is finished she returns to her conversation with Noelle
Cherry Baum: Sorry about that, that was…*ahem* anyway, how are you feeling about tonight’s match and matches?
Noelle’s gaze is on the pair firmly as Cherry returns and speaks, a dart of those big pretty eyes to just look in Karma’s direction before she turns just slightly to engage with Cherry.
Noelle Smith: I’m feeling good, Cherry. Really, I know you know that I’ve never had issues with J…
Another slight glance right at him, her look softens before she speaks again.
Noelle Smith: I’m fine not talking about that. It’s good to see you though Cherry, and I want to give you a little something that might ease your mind? At least I hope it might. I’ve got his back, okay? I know better than most how tough Cordy and Dan are, it’s all right there if you know how to look. Well, if you were trained old school you know. I’ll spare the talk about ‘champs for a reason’ and all that, but I know that if we can click out of the gate Karma and I can do this. I… don’t lack conviction, Cherry. Not anymore.
Cherry turns her attention from Noelle to Karma for a second, before looking back towards Noelle
Cherry Baum: I don’t doubt that, but it’s always good to catch up before a match rather than just assume everything will…
Johnny Karma: To be honest, I’m looking forward to tonight, because for the first time in what feels like months, and it probably is a few months to be honest, I can walk into a match and know I won’t have Cannon or Carmine or anyone else affiliated with those two beheimas watching and waiting for the next opportunity to jump me from behind. It’s strangely liberating.
Noticing that Cherry is shooting him a look, Karma addresses the match in question
Johnny Karma: We both know what Dan and Cordy can do individually, we’ve seen what they can do as a team - but I’m all for showing them that they’re not the only ones who can pair up and show the rest of FWA a thing or two. Besides, it’d be good to face two opponents with a partner in my corner this time…
Karma attempts to flash a wry grin, but it’s betrayed by the obvious bitterness in how he said the last part. Noelle relaxes her hands, opening and closing them a few times in a bid to distract with the motions. Her gaze goes from Cherry to Karma, and she nods.
Noelle Smith: People love to bring up how ‘someone’ can’t fight their own battles, or ‘always needs’ bailing out, and you know why they do that. I know you know. They want to stick people in their pride, get them to dance the way they expect. Except you’ve never been that guy, and it’s something I always admired about you. It makes you stand out, and I know…
She sighs softly, giving him a gamine look.
Noelle Smith: You realize you could have called me, right? Sent up the smoke signals, asked me? I would have stepped in even though I know you probably didn’t for some super personal reasons. It doesn’t matter now, okay? But maybe keep it in mind, that you aren’t as alone as you think, even if the odds tell you that you are. I’ll…
Noelle stands up straighter, and seeks to make eye contact with him. She’s registered that bitter tone, that’s for certain but she doesn’t try to give him some empty praise about how tough he looked anyway, even though he really did.
Noelle Smith: I need to do this, Karma. This match? This whole possible tournament, what waits at the end. I need to do this, and I need to do it right. I need to show people that what I’m doing, how hard I work, that it’s going to pay off and I’m not going to be swayed. Me and Izzy…
Noelle pauses, and a strange expression comes across her face, though it’s not immediately clear why. She shakes her head, shoots Cherry a glance and then returns her attention to Karma.
Noelle Smith: I know, in my heart that you’re not static. That you’re not going to get boxed in and labeled, and I honestly want the chance to see. To show we can do what we’re told we can’t. Then to show how much this means. At least, to me. I’d bet to you, too… if maybe not the same philosophy behind it.
Upon hearing this, Karma awkwardly rubs the back of his head
Johnny Karma: Yeah, it’s occurred to me that maybe I should’ve done a bit more than expect the rest of the roster to rally around because I said they should and maybe done something about the New Kings myself. I guess delegation isn’t my thing.
Having finishes rubbing the back of his head, Karma uses the hand to brush some loose strands of hair out of his eyes before he continues
Johnny Karma: And believe me, I’ve been told what I can’t do more times than I like to count: I won’t win matches, I can’t beat opponents, I’ll never win titles, and I’ve been told those things over and over, sometimes with new faces saying those words and others where it's the same guy repeating the same shtick as if I haven’t heard it before. Yet no matter how many times I’ve been told that, I keep proving them wrong - so how about we keep proving how little the people who think they know better actually know?
Noelle nods, her expression going serious.
Noelle Smith: I’m down for that. If I had a cute catchphrase…
A small hint of a dimple next to her lips came and went, and she nods again.
Noelle Smith: ...well, we don’t need one of those to win. I know we’ve got a shot. A better shot than anyone they’ve faced yet, and maybe that’s because I’m too stubborn to quit. I had one of my best friends tell me, with all sincerity that she believes I can be World Champion. So, there’s one person that believes in me.
Her gaze goes right to Cherry and then back to Karma’s face and she starts to say something but then just turns to get her gym bag from where it’s resting by the wall. She straightens with it, slides the strap over her shoulder and winks at the pair of them.
Noelle Smith: So let’s give them all a show. I can’t think of better company.
An impressed look crosses Karma’s face, and he briefly looks towards Cherry as if the gauge what she's thinking before he returns his attention to Noelle
Johnny Karma: That sounds like a plan to me.
The cameras then cut elsewhere as…

The arena lights flash in a myriad of different colours in time with John Bonham's quite remarkably epic drum intro that is filling the arena, and just as it reaches a crescendo Cherry Baum emerges at the top of the ramp, standing to one side to introduce the man they call Johnny Karma, to the Frontier Wrestling Arts fanbase - at which point he walks out onto the ramp before coming to a halt and uses a couple of fingers to blow a kiss to the fans, pausing to hold his arm in the air for a couple of seconds to signal his arrival As he and Cherry begin to walk down the ramp, Karma unfastens the cuffs of his ring jacket while also talking some last minute preparation with Cherry as they get ever closer to the ring As the pair reach ringside, Cherry quickly climbs onto the ring apron and sits on the middle rope to hold it open, as Karma climbs the ring steps and walks along the apron, turning to face His audience and slowly raising an arm before raising his index finger to let everyone know that He is #1, before he steps through the ropes into His ring. Once inside His ring, Karma unzips his ring jacket before he climbs onto the nearest turnbuckle and holds his arms out wide to tell the crowd he's set foot in His ring once again If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break When The Levee Breaks I'll have no place to stay Once he climbs down from the turnbuckles, Karma crosses the ring and climbs onto the opposite turnbuckle to salute His followers J.A. Aldridge: Introducing her partner, who is being accompanied to the ring by Cherry Baum! From New York City, New York! Weighing in at 233 pounds… JOHNNY KARMA! Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan It's got what it takes to make a mountain man leave his home Oh well, oh well, oh well Climbing down once again, Karma saunters towards the centre of the ring once again uses a couple of fingers to blow a kiss to the crowd before raising his arm high above his head with those two fingers still extended, and he holds the post for a few seconds Kris Cruise: Johnny Karma is looking okay. But you know he’s got to be feeling worse for wear after that beating by The New Kings at Retribution. Karma nearly had both Johnny Cannon and Tony Carmine beat! But once again, he succumbed to That Damn Numbers Game. Stephy Auger: If only Karma had someone to watch his back. But that’s right! She skipped town! Maybe Karma should follow the lead of his good buddy Fujiko and get out before The New Kings deliver a beating that he WON’T come back from! ...Spoken... "May I remind you again, this is a dream, and in dreams, you can do anything you darn please!" When the first bass drum thumps, Dan pulls the curtain back and walks out from behind the curtain with his girlfriend Peaches hanging onto his arm. He gives a head nod to the fans before leaning over and giving Peaches a long kiss at the top of the ramp. He then begins heading towards the ring as a spotlight stays on them. J.A. Aldridge: And their opponents! Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Peaches! Now residing out of Raleigh, North Carolina and weighing in at 200 pounds! He is one half of the FGA World Tag Team Champions… DAN HERRERA! My knuckles have turned to white There's no turning back tonight Kiss me one last time As Dan and Peaches make their way to the ring Dan slaps hands with the fans on one side of the entrance-way while Peaches walks down the other side slapping hands with the fans there. At the bottom of the entrance way, Peaches leans in and gives Dan a peck on the cheek as the pair go their separate ways. Dan gets to the ring and walks up the stairs. He swings around the ring post and ducks between the top and middle rope. Peaches on the other hand walks around the ring apron towards the commentary desk where she finds a folding chair waiting for her next to the ring announcer. Once in the ring Dan walks over showing his taped wrists to the referee who nods at him and sends him to his corner. He grabs the ropes on either side of the turnbuckle and leans in with his head down prepping himself for the match to begin. The lights dim down and take on a purplish hue as a light smoky mist fills the entranceway. The opening to A$AP Ferg's "New Level" cues up. I’m on a new level I’m on it, I’m on it As the beat drops, the crowd gives a loud pop as Cordelia Stevenson emerges from the mist with a bounce in her step and dancing to the music. She comes to a stop atop the walkway, glancing around and taking in the reception before giving the crowd a warm smile. She rolls her neck around before bowing her head and letting her hair fall in front of her face. A few seconds go by before she snaps her head up, whipping her hair back from in front of her face. J.A. Aldridge: His partner, from Freeport, Long Island! Weighing in at 146 pounds! She is one half of the FGA World Tag Team Champions… CORDY STEVENSON! She continues on down the ramp, working from side to side with a big smile as she slaps the hands of fans along the way. She gets to the ring and hops up onto the apron, mouthing the words and bouncing to the music as she makes her way around the side, towards the middle. She turns and faces her crowd, stretching her arms out to the side and slightly tilting her head backwards as she soaks in their reaction. She gives them an appreciative nod and blows a kiss at them, before stepping into the ring and making her way over towards the opposite turnbuckle. She quickly hops up and holds her arms out, drawing a reaction from that side of the crowd as well. She unzips her hoodie and tosses it away before hopping down and making her way over to her corner as the music dies down. Kris Cruise: Here are Status Quo, who were still able to team up despite the random draw. Stephy Auger: Maybe the draw was rigged like Evan Envi says! Or maybe they were brought together in this tournament by pure luck. But if they’re able to advance, then we’ll finally begin to see the cracks in this Dynamic Duo, Cruise. Then that’s when RubyWay will swoop in and finish what they started at Retribution! Or who knows, they may just make their presence felt and make sure that Dan and Cordy don’t advance past the first round! The match starts with Herrera and Karma locking up. After jockeying for position, Karma places Herrera in a side headlock. After performing a standing switch and transitioning into a hammerlock from behind, Karma turns Herrera around before planting him with Instant Karma. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Herrera kicks out. Kris Cruise: Karma quickly brings Herrera down right on his head for the first nearfall of this contest! Stephy Auger: Karma’s not wasting time. Karma picks up Herrera, moves him into the corner and delivers three knife edge chops. He then whips Herrera across the ring, follows him into the opposite corner and connects with an NYC Uppercut that sends Herrera slumping down in the corner. After stepping back towards the center of the ring, Karma runs back into the corner before connecting with the Kodak Moment. He drags Herrera from out of the corner before making the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Herrera gets his shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Karma with another one of his patented moves early on in this contest. Like you said, Karma is wasting no time in this one. Karma picks up Herrera and doubles him over with a knee to the midsection. He then grabs Herrera by the head, runs, hops over the top rope and brings him down across the top rope with Macho Karma. As Herrera stumbles back towards the center of the ring, Karma hops onto the apron, scales to the top rope and dives off for a flying double ax handle smash. But Herrera catches Karma in mid air, turns and throws him down with a spinebuster. Kris Cruise: My goodness, what a spinebuster by Herrera! Herrera slowly rolls across Karma as he hooks the leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . Karma gets his shoulder up. Herrera picks up Karma and whips him into the ropes. When Karma returns, Herrera lifts him up before delivering a Samoan Drop. He leans back and hooks the leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . Karma gets his shoulder up. Herrera heads over and tags Cordy Stevenson in. Stevenson gets in, rushes over and picks up Karma. She takes Karma by the arm and whips him into the corner. She then runs across the ring and into the corner. But Karma ducks the attack and dumps Stevenson over the top rope… … but Stevenson lands safely on the apron. When Karma turns around, he gets popped in the face with a right hand. While Karma stumbles back, Stevenson springboards to the top turnbuckle and dives off for The O-Face. But Karma connects in mid air with Check Your Chicklets. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stevenson gets her shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Stevenson was looking to put this one away. But Karma had other plans! Karma picks up Stevenson and whips him into his corner before delivering another NYC Uppercut. He then tags in Noelle Smith. The crowd cheers as Smith gets in and delivers three knife edge chops. She then moves Stevenson from out of the corner and whips her into the far ropes. When Stevenson returns, Smith knocks her down with a spinning heel kick. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stevenson gets her shoulder up. Smith picks up Stevenson and whips her into the ropes. When Stevenson returns, Smith knocks her down with a dropkick. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stevenson gets her shoulder up. Kris Cruise: This wildcard team of Karma and Smith have been on a roll! They’re getting the better of the Tag Team Champs in this one! Stephy Auger: Which is a bit of a surprise to me. Maybe Status Quo were so arrogant that they thought they could just run past Karma and Smith. Kris Cruise: I don’t think that’s the case. Stephy Auger: Well I do! Smith picks up Stevenson and whips her into the corner. Smith runs into the corner, hops onto Stevenson and goes for a monkey flip out of the corner. But Stevenson, somehow, is able to land on her feet. She then takes off into the ropes. When Smith gets up and turns around, the crowd cheers as Stevenson flips over and plants her with a Blockbuster DDT. Kris Cruise: Head over Heels! That might be enough for three... ONE! . . TWO! . . Karma drags Stevenson off of Smith. While Karma heads back to the outside, Stevenson picks up Smith and whips her into the Status Quo corner. Stevenson then runs across the ring before going for a handspring back elbow. But Smith moves out of the way, which causes Stevenson to crash into the corner. Stephy Auger: Nobody was home on that one! As Stevenson staggers out of the corner, Smith brings her down with a hurricanrana. She reaches back and hooks the leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stevenson kicks out. Smith picks up Stevenson and goes for an irish whip. But Stevenson reverses and turns, sending Smith towards the near ropes. When Smith returns, the crowd cheers as Stevenson knocks her down with the Foot Fetish. She then falls down and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Smith gets her shoulder up. Stevenson turns over and tags Herrera back in. Herrera gets in, picks up Smith, moves her into the corner and delivers several shoulder thrusts to the midsection. He then quickly hoists Smith up onto the top turnbuckle to position her for a muscle buster. But Smith front kicks him in the face. She then delivers another front kick to the face. Smith turns to Stevenson and hits her with a right hand. She turns back to Herrera and nails him with a front kick to the face. Smith turns back to Stevenson and nails her with another right hand. She then turns back to Herrera and delivers a double front kick to the face, which knocks Herrera away from the corner. After standing up on the middle ropes, the crowd cheers as Smith dives off and knocks him down with a front dropkick. She then crawls over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Herrera gets his shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Smith was trapped in the Status Quo corner, but she fought her way out! Smith picks up Herrera and goes for an irish whip. But Herrera reverses, sending Smith into the ropes. When Smith returns, Herrera sets up for a back body drop. Smith sees it coming, so she counters with a sunset flip. But Herrera rolls back through it, positions her legs and turns her over into a Texas Cloverleaf. Stephy Auger: Forced Retirement! The crowd cheers while Herrera has the hold applied. But it doesn’t stay applied for long as Karma connects with Check Your Chiclets. Kris Cruise: Karma nearly superkick Herrera’s teeth right out of his mouth! Smith slowly rolls over towards the ropes while Herrera turns over and tries to shake out the cobwebs. After Smith pulls herself up using the ropes, she scrambles over and tags Karma back in. Karma quickly scales to the top turnbuckle. Once Herrera returns to his feet, Karma knocks him down from behind with a flying double ax handle smash. While Herrera slowly turns over onto his back, Karma steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. The crowd cheers as he leaps off and connects with From The Stars Above. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stevenson dives over and breaks up the pin. Kris Cruise: Stevenson with the timely save! Karma picks up Herrera and goes for an irish whip. But Herrera reverses, sending Karma into the ropes. When Karma returns, Herrera sets up for another back body drop. But again, it gets countered as Karma delivers the Bum Trip. he makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Herrera gets his shoulder up. Karma picks up Herrera and rattles off three jabs. He throws out the right hook to complete Sugar Ray Karma. But Herrera ducks and counters with a right hook of his own. He nails Karma with two more right hooks before knocking him down with a discus elbow smash. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Karma gets his shoulder up. Stephy Auger: I thought Herrera knocked him out after that elbow! Herrera picks up Karma and whips him into the ropes. When Karma returns, Herrera goes for a back body drop. But Karma slips down from behind. He then loses balance and stumbles back into the ropes, where Smith makes the blind tag. Herrera turns around and goes after Karma. But Karma pulls down the top rope, which sends Herrera down to the floor. Stephy Auger: There he goes! As Herrera gets up off the floor, Smith runs along the apron before bringing him down with a flying hurricanrana. Kris Cruise: Smith with the high flying maneuver off the apron! While Karma watches from the apron, Stevenson connects with a dropkick that knocks him to the floor. Kris Cruise: Where did Cordy come from? Stephy Auger: And what’s she about to do now? Stevenson gets up and runs into the far ropes. When Karma gets up on the outside and turns around, the crowd cheers as Stevenson brings him down with a suicide plancha. Kris Cruise: The high risk pays off for Saint Sexy! When Stevenson gets up on the outside and turns around, the crowd explodes with cheers as Smith doubles her over before bringing her down with Swing, Set, Match. Kris Cruise: Smith just laid out Stevenson with Swing, Set Match! Stephy Auger: That might be it for Stevenson! Who knows how long she’ll be down! Smith picks up Herrera and rolls him back into the ring. Smith then climbs up onto the apron. Once Herrera gets up, the crowd cheers as Smith knocks him down with a springboard flying forearm. She pulls him over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Herrera gets his shoulder up. Smith heads over towards the ropes. After stepping out onto the apron, she waves up Herrera. As Herrera returns to his feet and turns around, Smith goes for a springboard cross body block. But Herrera leaps up and spears her out of the air. Kris Cruise: What a spear by Herrera! Stephy Auger: He nearly broke her in half! Herrera brings her into the corner. After sitting her down on the top turnbuckle, Herrera grabs her, lifts her up, turns, makes his way out of the corner and plants her with the Walking Papers. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! “Dangerous Business Since 1979” blasts over the PA as the crowd explodes with cheers. J.A. Aldridge: Here are your winners, DAN HERRERA and CORDY STEVENSON! Herrera gets his arm raised while the crowd continues to cheer. Kris Cruise: Dan Herrera picks up the pin. He and his Status Quo tag partner will be advancing! Stephy Auger: Tag Team Champions will collide in the next round, Cruise! Let’s see how strong their bond is when a shot at the World Championship is at stake! [ COMMERCIAL BREAK ]

FIRST ROUND OF THE WILDCARD LOTTERY TOURNAMENT Annie Zellor and Chris Madison vs. Molly Reid and Ruby Tyler Come heavy or don't come at all, You leave your piece at home that's your call, It never paid to be merciful, Come heavy or don't come at all The lights come up as the music rises and Ruby Tyler walks through the curtain, walking down the ramp, eyes focused on the ring despite the some-mixed, some-hushed fans who are uncertain how to react after RubyWay’s antics-- though the most vocal ones jeer her as she approaches ringside. Come heavy or don't come at all, Been here before and watched a better man fall I smell the fear on you boy Come heavy or don't come at all Tossing her jacket aside, Ruby turns to face the crowd momentarily before sliding underneath the bottom rope, grinning as she heads to her corner and climbs the turnbuckle, her head bobbing as the chorus plays out. Once the music fades, she hops down and turns, glancing at her partner as the music fades. J.A. Aldridge: Ahem. The following contest is a tag team match scheduled for one fall and it is a Wildcard Lottery First Round match! In the ring, at a combined weight of two hundred and sixty-two pounds, the team of Ruby Tyler and the FGA Pride Champion, Molllyyyyy REEEIIIID! Kris Cruise: And for those of you at home who probably can’t see the announce table, we’ve been joined by Evan Envi here at commentary. Stephy Auger: Blessed by the presence of the Chief! Sound more enthusiastic, damnit. Evan Envi: Y-- ugh, right?! Dang, Kris. Get it together over there. I taught Molly Reid how to do a proper show-stealing kick, THE KAPOWSKI KICK at Retribution and I’m gonna show you how to do commentary tonight! Kris Cruise: Right. J.A. Aldridge: And their opponents…! The venue's lights cut out, causing the entire building to go dark. Static feedback screeches over the P.A. system, forcing the fans in the audience to cover their ears. The video screen near the entrance way lights up with a white snowy picture, barely illuminating the entrance ramp. A black handprint slowly fades into the picture with a red anarchy symbol carved into the palm of the handprint. The crowd jumps to their feet with a roaring standing ovation as the static feedback is replaced by the opening chorus to Bullet For My Valentine's single You Want a Battle? (Here's A War).
"We will not take this anymore These words will never be ignored You want a battle HERE'S A WAR!!"A sole spotlight focuses on the curtain for the entranceway as Chris Madison steps out. His head is tucked down and covered by a black towel, focusing on the ground beneath him. The crowd erupts in anticipation as Madison stands as still as a statue. He finally brings his fists up towards his face and punches himself on the jaw with both hands before ripping the towel from his head and spiking it down to the ground. J.A. Aldridge: Coming to the ring from Long Island, New York, weighing in at two hundred twenty pounds, "Mayhem" CHRIS MMAADDIISSOONN!!! Madison charges to the ring and slides in under the bottom rope before hopping up to his feet. He walks towards the nearest ropes corner and climbs up to the second rope, surveying the live crowd before holding his arms out horizontally. Evan Envi: Ugh. Stephy Auger: I agree! "Jager Yoga" by CSS begins to play throughout the arena as Annie Zellor steps out from behind the curtain; the fans in attendance begin to boo as Zellor keeps her head down, bouncing from one foot to the other in time with the music. She raises her head, looking out across the crowd as she stands there with her feet apart, hands on her hips, before finally heading down the aisle. J.A. Aldridge: And his partner, from Staten Island, New York, weighing in at one hundred and twenty pounds, she is “BAD BAD ANNIE Z” … ANNIE ZELLOR! Some fans still reach out for the high five, and for those fans Annie obliges. But she tries to drown out the rest of them as they continue to jeer her from a distance. Zellor climbs up the ring steps and stops on the apron, taking another moment to look out across the crowd before she steps into the ring. There, Annie heads to her corner and rests back against the turnbuckles as she waits for this one to get started. Madison wastes no time asserting that he wants to start-- and after a brief back-and-forth, Annie obliges, stepping out to the apron. On the other side of the ring, Molly and Ruby don’t seem to speak to one another… rather Ruby steps out to the apron, casually, earning a mixed reaction from the audience as they now know what to anticipate. The ref calls for the bell! Kris Cruise: And now we’re underway! High, high stakes for these competitors, but two best friends are gonna start it off in Pride Champion Molly Reid and… former Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion, Annie Zellor. Stephy Auger: I don’t like the way you said it, Cruise. The two circle the ring before moving nearer to one another. Annie holds out her hand and Molly instinctively goes to slap it for a high-five, but Annie yanks her forward into a side headlock with a smirk. Molly tries to shove her off but Annie pivot and hits the harai goshi, a sweeping hip throw! Annie maintains a hold of Molly’s arm and yanks her back up to a seated position before nailing a low Enzuigiri! The audience groans for Reid and Annie hooks both legs! ONE . . TWO . . Kickout! Reid shoves Zellor off with both hands and rolls onto her stomach, eyes wide from the sharp kick. Annie shoots the ropes and rebounds for a Step-Up Enzuigiri but Molly easily ducks due to Zellor’s momentum! Annie lands awkwardly on her feet behind Reid and turns around as Reid goes for the Molly Kick! Stephy Auger: Ahhhh, the Molly Kick! Evan Envi: GOD NO LORD NO! ...but Annie throws herself to the mat, quickly sliding to the ropes to boos from the crowd. She pulls herself up to her feet and applauds her friend, giving her a wink as the two begin to circle the ring again. Molly gives Annie a faint smile as they move forward to lock-up again, but it immediately fades as she begins laying into Annie with elbows to the neck and side of the head! The audience roars for the attack but Annie pivots quickly, nailing a well-placed back elbow to Molly’s jaw! She stumbles into her corner and finds the hand of Chris Madison to a roar from the crowd! He steps in and sizes up the Pride Champion. Kris Cruise: And in comes Chris Madison, who’s here in FGA to redeem himself-- to do what he wasn’t able to do the last time and climb to the top of this company. And what better opportunity than this? Evan Envi: I hope in the middle of this he just starts chaffing somethin’ awful and gets a really uncomfortable rash on his inner thigh and can’t do that stupid Costa Rican Bowtie. Kris Cruise: The Pride Champ’s going right after Madison! Molly Reid rushes Madison with elbows just like she’d done to her friend! Madison is backed against the ropes, covering up against the rush-- before hitting a low kick to the knee. Molly winces and stumbles backward. Madison shoots the ropes and nails a flying knee strike, taking Reid down! He goes for a cover. ONE . . Kickout!Madison pulls Reid up and Irish Whips her across the ring where Ruby Tyler makes the blind tag. Madison goes for a Back Body Drop-- but Molly lands on her feet! Kris Cruise: Great athleticism by Reid! Evan Envi: You’re getting really carried away. Molly recoils due to the shot to the knee from earlier, but ducks out of the ring as Madison turns around into a Diving Forearm Smash from the top rope courtesy of Tyler! Madison pulls himself up but Ruby hits a Single Leg Dropkick, followed by a second! Chris Madison begins to push himself up but Ruby punts him with a soccer kick to the ribs and devolves into forearms and fists to the back of his head and neck! Stephy Auger: Hahaha, she cannot be stopped! I LIKE this new Ruby. Kinda. Ruby earns boos from the Springfield crowd as she motions for Madison to climb upright... and she hits the Slingblade! Hooking the far leg and grapevining the near one, she makes the cover! ONE . . TWO . . TH-- kickout!Ruby shoots the ref a glare but shakes her head, walking to the neutral corner, ascending to the middle turnbuckle. She measures Madison-- but he springs to his feet and rushes her with a Running Yakuza Kick to a roar from the audience! Ruby remains seated on the top turnbuckle but looks to be completely out! Kris Cruise: WHAT A KICK! Evan Envi: Better than the Molly Kick. Not as good as the Kapowski Kick. Madison pulls Ruby off of the turnbuckles over his shoulder and turns to the center of the ring, nailing the Alabama Slam! Ruby clutches the back of her head in pain. Madison is still disoriented, catching his breath for a moment before pulling himself up. He pulls Ruby up as well-- but she hits a desperate European Uppercut! Madison nails an elbow to her temple and hoists her up for a Suplex… but Tyler drops down and counters with the Inside Cradle! Stephy Auger: Here it is, folks! ONE . . . TWO . . . Evan Envi: What! Chris Madison rolls through and back to his feet, promptly hoisting Ruby Tyler back up into the Suplex position before dropping her with the Brainbuster! Kris Cruise: Incredible sequence and cover by Chris Madison! ONE . . . TWO . . . THRE-! Ruby Tyler throws the shoulder up at the last moment and pushes herself up to a knee, diving into her corner to tag Molly Reid’s arm before collapsing to the mat and rolling out to the apron. Her actions receive a chorus of boos from the crowd but Madison shoots the far ropes and charges across the ring toward Reid-- who slingshots into the ring and captures the oncoming Madison with a Sunset Flip! Kris Cruise: Beautif-- Evan Envi: Don’t. ONE . . . TWO . . . Kickout!Molly Reid signals for the end as she scrambles to her feet and delivers a stomp to the midsection of the rising Chris Madison before going for the Guillotine Choke! Evan Envi actively rises from his seat, glaring as Molly Reid locks in the hold! Madison is quickly able to slide a foot over the bottom rope but Molly glares back at Envi as she keeps the Shark Attack locked in! Stephy Auger: Bully Reid, back at it again! Are you seeing this, Chief?! Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Though the ref has reached the count of four, Madison pushes himself up and seems to break the hold himself, launching Molly over the ropes and onto the apron! He nails a solid left hand and Molly reels, but as Madison shoots the ropes on the far side of the ring, Molly swiftly slides into the ring over the middle rope and catches him with a Spinning Backfist! Madison goes down to a knee and Molly connects with an Axe Kick to the crown! Kris Cruise: That was an unsettling connection, but those kind of shots might take Molly Reid all the way to the World Championship! She could be a double champion after all this! Envi remains standing and silent. We pan back to the inside of the ring where Molly Reid has gone to a neutral corner, ascending to the top turnbuckle. She looks back over her shoulder-- and goes for the Corkscrew Moonsault! Madison gets a single knee up and connects with Molly’s sternum! Molly cries out in agony, rolling toward her corner on sheer accident. Ruby Tyler reaches over the ropes and scrambles into the ring to capitalize on the fallen Chris Madison… but Madison shoulder-rolls to a pop from the crowd and makes the tag to Annie Zellor, which promptly drives the reaction mixed! Stephy Auger: Annie’s the freshest one in this thing! She’s about to erase that stink that occurred at Retribution! Ruby goes to cut Annie off at the apron but Annie nails a stiff right hand that knocks her back. She leaps onto the top rope and leaps off for the Springboard Cross Body… ...but Tyler knocks her out of the air with a jumping side kick that catches Annie in the jaw! The audience gasps as Annie crashes awkwardly to the canvas and Ruby falls on top of her, scrambling to hook the far leg for the cover! ONE . . . TWO . . . Chris Madison sprints across the ring at the last second, diving, smashing his knee into the temple of Ruby Tyler! Stephy Auger: Hey! Hey now! REF! Madison pushes himself up to his hands and knees while Ruby pulls herself up in the corner. Kris Cruise: Chris Madison may have just saved this for-- Ruby sprints across the ring and nails a sprinting, sharp running knee to the side of Madison’s head, driving him all the way out of the ring! Stephy Auger: DEAD AIM! That’s how it’s really done! Ruby turns around into what appears to be a running headscissors by Annie Zellor, but becomes the Octopus Stretch! The audience is mixed, some wanting Ruby to tap, some despising Zellor, but Ruby is able to inch forward on a knee toward her corner where Molly Reid has regained her feet! Kris Cruise: That kick from Ruby put Annie in a bad way. She can’t fully lock in that Glitter Stretch! Annie abandons the hold as Ruby grows closer to the corner. She grabs Ruby by the hair and attempts to swing her to the center of the ring, but Ruby counters with a European Uppercut and makes the tag to Molly, dropping out to the apron again! Molly enters the ring as Annie reaches her feet and levels her with a Clothesline! We hear the headset drop off camera and the audience grows loud. Molly inside the ring shakes out the cobwebs and draws Annie forward up to her knees into a spinning back kick! Kris Cruise: Direct shot! Spit flies from Zellor’s mouth and Molly drops down into the Triangle Choke to a roar from the audience… but we see that Evan Envi has taken the Pride Championship from the timekeeper. He casually walks past Ruby Tyler and around the ring with the championship belt thrown over his shoulder! Kris Cruise: What is he doing?! Stephy Auger: The match at Final Frontier is a technicality. Evan’s basically already the champ. Molly’s face grows red and she glares toward the ramp as Envi casually walks away. The grip on the Triangle Choke becomes noticeably less secure and she instinctively seems to inch toward where Envi stands on the ramp, now paused… ...and Annie Zellor rolls forward, stacking Molly up on her shoulders! ONE . . . TWO . . . THREE! Ruby Tyler rolls into the ring but is too late! Kris Cruise: Oh my God. Stephy Auger: Amazing! J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, your winners, advancing to the quarterfinals, ANNIE ZELLOR AND CHRIS MADISON! Molly Reid sits on her knees, distant expression on her face as the bell rings. She glares toward the ramp, rising to her feet, prepared to make a beeline-- but the Pride Championship rests at the top and Evan Envi has already disappeared through the curtains. Stephy Auger: Don’t make excuses for Molly Reid, Cruise! She blew her opportunity AND Ruby’s by taking it easy on Annie in the end! What a quitter, right? Kris Cruise: You’re joking. Ruby Tyler shakes her head at Molly, ducking out of the ring and walking to the back. Inside the ring, the referee raises Annie Zellor’s and Chris Madison’s arms in victory but Annie looks at Reid out of the corner of her eye as the Pride Champion continues to glare at the curtain. FIRST ROUND OF THE WILDCARD LOTTERY TOURNAMENT Sunshine Scandalous Tony Carmine and Ryan LeCavalier vs. Johnny Cannon and Kevin Hardaway The lights go out. Complete blackness, with the only lights shining being the random cellphones and a few cameras going off. An odd hush fills the crowd as the beginning few piano notes and guitar strums of “Free Bird” hit. As the drums enter the fray and the guitars enter louder, the lights start coming back on slowly, as a dim rather than just full-blown. To a point where you still can’t tell who’s coming in or out. The crowd isn’t restless, sure, but they’re concerned at what’s going on as finally when the song reaches it’s first major crescendo, the lights fully come back on and standing at the entrance ramp without any sign of coming through the curtain, is none other than Kevin Hardaway, just looking on at the crowd, a hoodie on over his gear as he looks out at the crowd and starts the long walk down to the ring as the lyrics start up. ”If I leave here tomorrow Would you still remember me? For I must be traveling on now 'Cause there's too many places I've got to see.” As the chorus hits, Kevin walks up the ring steps and climbs on top of the turnbuckle. Usually in past iterations of himself, he would perch up on it like a hawk looking for his prey. This time however, he doesn’t perch. He just stands on top, looking out at the crowd with a grin and a smirk as he jumps down into the ring and walks over to the corner...either awaiting the ring of the bell, or his opponent to walk down to the ring. Ready for war. J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a First Round Match in the Wildcard Lottery Tournament! Introducing first, from Baltimore, Maryland! Weighing in at 223 pounds… KEVIN HARDAWAY! Kris Cruise: Two weeks ago, Kevin Hardaway shocked the world when both he and Ruby Tyler laid out Status Quo after their tag team ladder match at Retribution. Since that time, they’ve been unapologetic when it came to their actions. They’re only on one hunt, Hardaway said. That’s to burn this place to the ground and take the FGA World Championship. Stephy Auger: They want to usher in some new blood, Cruise. You can’t do that by keeping the Status Quo. Yellow strobe lights suddenly shine down across the entrance way, whilst the house lights begin to dim down. Slowly, almost in unison with the change in lightning does "Voodoo Child" (Jimi Hendrix" Cover) by Brick + Mortar begin to play. A small ebb of yellow smoke ascends from the ventilators to grace the ramp. The Brit's silhouette emerges behind the curtain, only backed by another image. "well i stand up next to a mountain well i stand up next to a mountain well i pick up all the pieces maybe even make maybe make a little sense"
Finally, bursting through the curtain emerges "The British Mamba", Johnny Cannon. The Brit stands before the masses at the apex of the ramp, his face stone cold until a slight grin shines through the cracks. The Londoner surveys the landscape, soaking in the boos and jeers from the lively crowd whilst standing tall in an exquisite two piece tuxedo. With Quinn Goodrich right beside him carrying a NIKE gym bag, Cannon lifts up a bottle of Belvedere, taking a swig. The usual vainglorious glows’ absent from the Mamba’s presence. The look in his eyes is one of bloodthirst, and his demeanor that of a man coming to handle his business in the most painful manner possible. The Last Real Man finishes his vodka, tossing it aside as Team Cannon begins their march to ringside. J.A. Aldridge: His partner, being accompanied to the ring by Quinn Goodrich! From London, England! Weighing in at 245 pounds! He is “The British Mamba”... JOHNNY CANNON! "well i stand up next to a mountain and i chop it down with the edge of my hand well i stand up next to a mountain and i struck it down with the edge of my hand cause I'm a voodoo child"
Cannon walks hard to the ring, his strut less swaggering and pretentious as previously seen, now slow and methodical, whilst Quinn jaws off at the crowd as he does so. Johnny ignores the responses from the crowd, showing complete indifference to them as he slowly marches up the stairs. He casually walks along the apron, wiping his oxfords across it upon reaching the middle, before ducking through the middle and top ropes to enter the ring. "lord knows im a voodoo child cause im a voodoo child"
Johnny backs into the nearest corner, opening his tuxedo as he leans onto the turnbuckle, his arms resting on either side of the ropes. He simply stands there, a murderous look painted on his face as he waits for the bell to start so he can tear into his opponents. Kris Cruise: For months, Johnny Cannon has complained about not getting a one on one rematch for the FGA World Championship. So it came as no surprise as when Cannon was angry about having to win this tournament to get back “his” World Championship. Stephy Auger: Why should he be happy? Why should these commoners be given the same chance to win the World Championship? “Stonefist” By HEALTH’s echoic machine-like tones come echoing their way into the venue. The lights dim down towards complete darkness, as piercing purple strobe lights flood the crowd from the entrance way, smoke bellows from the entrance way into the clearing of the entrance’s opening; intending on sending chills down the spine of those in attendance. And though we know how far we've come We stay possessed by what we lost And we both know, love's not in our hearts And we both know, love's not in our hearts And we both know, love's not in our hearts And we both know, love's not in our hearts Ryan steps through the curtains into the entrance backwards. She pauses for a second, then turns around revealing a sly smirk and her signature aviator sunglasses that reflect the lighting that flashes in sequences, the entire venue turns a deep purple as she’s strolling to ringside nonchalantly. Ryan reaches out to several fans showing them a bit of appreciation, slapping some of their hands, coming to an abrupt full stop as the ring lies ahead of her. J.A. Aldridge: Now introducing their opponents! First, currently residing out of Miami, Florida! Weighing in at 135 pounds! She is “The Lost Monarch”... RYAN LECAVALIER! We're never going backwards We're never growing young (not in our hearts) We're never coming back here Remember, love's not in our hearts Ryan walks to the front of the crowd running at the apron and sliding onto it, she slowly comes to standing as she brought her arms behind her back before stepping through the ropes effortlessly. Once in the ring walks toward the adjacent set of ropes climbing the turnbuckle, placing one foot on the very top as her other leg supports her standing there. Extending both arms out she poses for the fans that shower her with a mixed reaction that was to be expected. Dropping down from the turnbuckle she readied herself for the opening bell by throwing punches and kicks, warming up her limbs for what should be an interesting contest. Kris Cruise: Ryan LeCavalier has the opportunity of a lifetime. If she makes it through this tournament, she could walk out the new FGA World Champion. Unfortunately, she has to team up with a man that has never passed up an opportunity to disrespect her and that’s The Scandalous One. Stephy Auger: Not everyone can be as fortunate as Dan and Cordy and tag with people they like. If she wants to advance, she’ll let bygones be bygones. Besides, Tony was even nice enough to throw the idea of a possible admittance into The Royal Court. When "Solarflare" by Yung Lean hits, the lights dim and eventually the crowd will begin to jeer. Pink and purple strobe lights starts to flare. Once the bass drops, Scandalous Tony emerges from the curtains with his arms spread out, accompanied by 3 full-figured women following behind him(never the same group of women). He pops the collar on his furry vest before turning his back the ring and utters something to the women behind him. Suddenly he swings back around and slowly struts down the ramp, repeating the lyrics. He takes his purple pick out and starts picking his hair out. "The molecule that's me won't go without a fist I'm a molecule but I stand in the mist Bitch don't cut your wrists, I'mma kill to live Solar flare, I can see the skies opening, I'm almost there"After putting the pick away, he then pulls out a nail filer and starts filing his nails, all the while taking his sweet time to get to the ring as he instructs the females to have the ropes held for him by the time he gets to ringside. With the ladies seated on the middle rope, Tony ignores them and walks up the steps and into the ring on his own. Tony laughs as he stands on the middle rope and looks out to the fans while slowly and seductively taking his furry vest off and throwing it to the group of females as they step off the apron. He backflips into the ring as his music slowly fades. J.A. Aldridge: Her partner, now residing out of Boca Raton, Florida! Weighing in at 179 pounds… SUNSHINE SCANDALOUS TONY CARMINE! Kris Cruise: Tony Carmine has won the Frontier Lions Cup before. He co-won the Gold Rush Rumble. Can he add another tournament win to his record? Stephy Auger: Of course! They don’t call him The Tournament King for nothing. I think Carmine and Cannon are right. They should be the ones fighting for the vacant championship. But if Tony has to win ANOTHER tournament, so be it. As the referee raises his hand and is about to signal for the timekeeper to ring the opening bell, he's interrupted by Johnny Karma appearing at the top of the ramp with a mic in hand Johnny Karma: Don't worry, this won't take long - because like everyone else watching this match, I'm curious to see if Danny Diamond shows up so we see the New Kings beat up whoever is about the eliminate them from the tournament...and how long it takes them to realise they're beating up one of their own. So if Ryan and Kev don't mind taking a back seat for a moment, I've got something to say to that pair of paskudnyaks mooching around in the ring. Hardaway and LeCavalier look towards each other, shrug, then leave the ring - but rather than rise to the obvious bait, Cannon and Carmine just talk among themselves, occasionally pointing in Karma's direction and sniggering at his expense, before they both turn their backs on him to continue their conversation while ignoring him Johnny Karma: I'm sure you're feeling that, because the two of you managed to steal a win against me, and because you've always got that numerical advantage. Well maybe it's time that changed... Upon hearing the last part, Cannon looks over his shoulder to gauge what Karma implies by the last comment - but Carmine brushes it off, appearing to make a comment saying he's just talking about Cherry Baum and telling Cannon to pay no attention Johnny Karma: You'll be finding out soon enough. With a knowing look in his eye, Karma turns and walks back through the curtain, allowing the ref the opportunity to get the match started. The bell sounds as SSTC and Hardaway lock up. Hardaway gains the advantage after a knee to the midsection. He then nails SSTC with an elbow smash to the face. Hardaway rears back and nails SSTC with an elbow smash that turns him around. When SSTC comes back, Hardaway knocks him down with an elbow smash. He drops down and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . SSTC gets his shoulder up. Hardaway picks up SSTC, marches into the corner and goes to slam him face-first into the top turnbuckle. But SSTC gets his hands out, stopping the move. After an elbow to the midsection, SSTC goes to slam Hardaway face-first into the top turnbuckle. But Hardaway gets his foot on the middle turnbuckle, stopping the move. After an elbow to the midsection, Hardaway repeatedly slams SSTC face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning SSTC around, Hardaway nails him with four shoot kicks to the chest before doubling him over with a spinning back kick to the midsection. After switching positions with SSTC, Hardaway lifts him up onto his shoulders. Kris Cruise: Hardaway’s looking for a powerbomb! Hardaway’s about to go for a running sitout powerbomb from out of the corner. But SSTC leans forward, grabs onto the top ropes and hangs on for dear life. He then reaches down and repeatedly punches Hardaway in the face. After he slips down in front of Hardaway, SSTC lunges forward and chokes Hardaway with both hands. The ref gives him until the count of five to release the choke. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… SSTC breaks the choke. He then turns and gives the ref and earful. When SSTC turns back to Hardaway, Hardaway grabs him and tosses him into the corner. He then lunges forward and gives SSTC a choke of his own. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Hardaway lets go… and then reapplies the choke. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Hardaway reluctantly lets go. He then nails SSTC with an uppercut that sends spittle flying out of his mouth. He then takes SSTC by the hard and whips him hard into the opposite corner. SSTC can be seen arching his back upon impact. After lining up SSTC, Hardaway runs across the ring and into the corner. But SSTC nails him with a back elbow strike. After a back kick doubles Hardaway over and knocks him back a few steps, SSTC performs a backwards roll before delivering the Rainbow Kick. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Hardaway picks out. SSTC picks up Hardaway, snapmares him over and delivers a stiff kick to the back. While Hardaway arches his back, SSTC runs into the corner. When he returns, he flattens Hardaway with a dropkick. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Hardaway gets his shoulder up. SSTC picks up Hardaway and whips him into the ropes. When Hardaway returns, SSTC knocks him down with a spinning heel kick. He then saunters into his corner and tags in Ryan LeCavalier. LeCavalier enters the ring as Hardaway returns to his feet. When Hardaway turns around, LeCavalier points over towards his corner. Stephy Auger: What is she doing? Kris Cruise: Ryan LeCavalier doesn’t want Hardaway. She wants The British Mamba! Hardaway looks over at Johnny Cannon, then back at LeCavalier. Hardaway then makes his way into the corner and slaps Cannon’s hand. Kris Cruise: I’m pretty sure Ryan didn’t take too kindly to the words that Cannon had towards her cousin and former FGA grappler, Misha LeCavalier. Stephy Auger: I understand that. But she needs to put the personal grudges to the side for tonight. She can’t lose focus on the task at hand and that’s advancing. Cannon enters the ring and looks LeCavalier up and down as he circles her. He then makes his way over for a lock up. But he quickly gets put in a side headlock. LeCavalier then brings him down with a headlock transitioned into a spinning drop toe hold. She scrambling across Cannon’s back, LeCavalier locks him in a front facelock. She then rains down alternating knees to the head of The British Mamba. She then turns him over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Cannon kicks out. LeCavalier picks up Cannon and whips him into the corner. She then charges into the corner. But Cannon counters with a European Uppercut. While LeCavalier is dazed, Cannon climbs up onto the middle ropes. But LeCavalier quickly grabs him by the arm and sends him crashing shoulder-first to the mat with an arm wringer. As Cannon tries to pick himself up off the mat, LeCavalier delivers a running knee to the side of the head that knocks him through the ropes and onto the apron. Cannon then tries to pull himself off the apron using the ropes, but LeCavalier runs into the far ropes, comes back and knocks him off with a running knee strike. Kris Cruise: The British Mamba just got sent flying to the floor. After Cannon shakes out the cobwebs, he slowly returns to his feet. But he doesn’t stay standing for long as LeCavalier hurls herself through the ropes and knocks him down with a suicide dive. Kris Cruise: The high risk move pays off for The Lost Monarch! LeCavalier picks up Cannon and rolls him back into the ring. After rolling herself back in, she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Cannon gets his shoulder up. LeCavalier picks up Cannon and goes for an irish whip. But Cannon reverses, sending LeCavalier into the ropes. When she returns, Cannon hoists her up before delivering a kick to the chest of the way down. While LeCavalier is doubled over, Cannon hooks her arm before hoisting her up and planting her with the Cannon Driver II. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . LeCavalier gets her shoulder up. Cannon picks up LeCavalier, runs into the corner and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. He turn turns LeCavalier around and unleashes a series of European Uppercuts. He then takes LeCavalier and whips her into the opposite corner. Cannon runs across the ring for a running European Uppercut. But LeCavalier cuts him off with a running elbow strike from out of the corner. While Cannon is dazed, LeCavalier turns and runs into the ropes. When she comes back, she knocks Cannon down with a jumping heel kick. After Cannon returns to his feet, LeCavalier goes for another jumping heel kick. This time, Cannon side steps and swats her down. As LeCavalier tries to rise back to a vertical base, she gets knocked down by a reverse roundhouse kick. Cannon makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . LeCavalier gets her shoulder up. Cannon picks up LeCavalier and whips her into his corner. He then runs across the ring, delivers a corner high knee, tosses her out of the corner and then connects with a running knee to the side of the head. He then drags her into position before tagging Hardaway back in. Hardaway then scales to the top turnbuckle, jumps off and connects with a diving double foot stomp. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . LeCavalier gets her shoulder up. Stephy Auger: How was that not three!? Hardaway picks up LeCavalier and nails her with an elbow smash to the face. LeCavalier answers back with an elbow smash of her own. So Hardaway hits her with another elbow smash. But again, the crowd cheers as LeCavalier comes back with an elbow of her own. Hardaway then delivers a spinning back kick to the midsection. After a stomp to the back of the head, Hardaway throws out a rolling elbow. But LeCavalier ducks and counters with a jumping neckbreaker. The crowd cheers as she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Hardaway gets his shoulder up. LeCavalier drags Hardaway over towards her corner and tags SSTC back in. SSTC then springboards onto the top turnbuckle before going for a Phoenix Splash. Hardaway rolls out of the way. After delivering a snapmare, Hardaway runs into the ropes. When he comes back, he goes for a running kick to the chest. But SSTC rolls back, turns over and locks on a standing ankle lock. Stephy Auger: The Sprinkle Lock! Hardaway can be heard groaning in pain as SSTC tries to snap his ankle. After standing up on his hands, Hardaway rolls forward, which sends SSTC into the corner. After SSTC smacks his face against the top turnbuckle and stumbles back, Hardaway runs into the ropes. When he returns, he knocks SSTC down with a Decap Lariat. He then gets to his feet, heads over and tags in Cannon. Kris Cruise: Here we go, Stephy! New King vs. New King! Cannon gets back in the ring, picks up SSTC and whips him into the ropes. Armageddon vs. Jaxson Blade J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen the following contest contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 425 pounds ... ARMAGEDDON! You take a mortal man, and put him in control, Watch him become a god Watch people's heads a'roll a'roll, a' roll Just like the Pied Piper, led rats through the streets We dance like marionettes, swaying to the Symphony of Destruction! Kris Cruise: And now we have a match where both men will be making their FGA debuts. But this man right here, all 6'6" and 425 pounds of him, is the most physically imposing man on the FGA roster right now. Stephy Auger: That's putting it lightly, Cruise. And with eighteen years experience inside the squared circle you know he's going to be more than a challenge for Jaxson Blade. As the song plays, out walks Armageddon being lead by Hans Krugger. As they walk down the aisle some fans try and touch him, but Armageddon shrugs them away. They continue walking down the aisle and up the steel steps as Hans holds the ropes open for his client. Armageddon steps in through the middle ropes and throws his right fist in the air as Hans takes his place in the corner. The riffs begin as smoke fills the entrance way as the song song starts he bursts through the curtain wearing a black zip up hoodie with the hood up. He begins singing the chorus with the crowd as he makes his way to the ring slapping hands along the way he jumps up onto the apron. J.A. Aldridge: And his opponent, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, weighing in at 180 pounds ... JAXSON BLADE! He steps on the second rope and then the top and screams" this means war" as he jumps down into the ring. He walks over to a corner taking off the hoodie he puts in a mouth guard as he begins stretching. Kris Cruise: And there's the man with a formidable task before him. Jaxson Blade is by no means a rookie, but he's at a severe size disadvantage here. Stephy Auger: Ten years as a professional wrestler doesn't prepare you for a man like this, Cruise. As soon as that adrenaline wears off he's going to realize exactly what this debut entails for him, and Jaxson Blade is going to learn what fear is. The bell sounds to start the match as both men emerge from their corners. Almost instinctively the fans in attendance begin to rally behind Blade; he does his best to evade Armageddon's grasp, but the big man manages to catch Blade with a collar and elbow tie up as he pushes Jaxson back into the corner. The referee calls for a break, which he gets after a three count, before Armageddon throws a big clothesline. Kris Cruise: That's like a tree trunk slamming down across your chest! Armageddon throws two more clotheslines before Jaxson Blade slumps to a seated position in the corner. But at the behest of Hans Krugger, Armageddon brings his opponent back to his feet and whips Blade from pillar to post as he follows him in with a running splash. A side slam follows and Armageddon hooks a leg as he goes for the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Jaxson kicks out! Armageddon rolls back to his feet and promptly delivers a falling headbutt. And another. The big man gets back to his feet as he beats his chest with both fists, drawing some boos from the crowd. On the outside, Krugger tell his monster to get back to the action as Armageddon grabs his opponent by the throat with both hands. Blade finds himself being hoisted to his feet and then into the air. But Blade lands a knee to the face. Stephy Auger: A vicious knee strike by Jaxson Blade there, but he's not out the woods yet. Blade swings forward and catches his opponent with another knee to the face, forcing the big man to drop him. Armageddon clutches his face as Jaxson has a moment to catch his breath. He fires off a roundhouse kick, that ends up more like a shoot kick to the chest. And another. The big man takes the kicks with relative ease, catching the third one as he holds onto the foot. But Jaxson leaps up with an enziguiri that sends Armageddon staggering away. He stays on his feet, however, until Blade runs in with a basement dropkick to the left knee. It buckles, forcing Armageddon down to one knee. The fans are beginning to get excited as Jaxson pops back up to his feet, firing off more shoot kicks to the chest before he runs against the ropes. Blade comes back with a spinning heel kick to the face - but still Armageddon stays upright. Kris Cruise: Armageddon suffered a knee injury back in high school while playing football, and obviously Jaxson Blade learned that while researching his opponent. That basement dropkick has got him right back into this one. Stephy Auger: He took Armageddon off his feet, but he's still not been taken down to the mat, Cruise. But as Blade hits the ropes again, he comes back with a modified slingblade that brings Armageddon crashing to the mat! A chorus of cheers sounds out from a small section of the crowd, and Krugger can't believe it. Jaxson stands back up and poses with his fist raised high in the air; the crowd cheer again as he moves towards the corner, climbing to the top rope slowly. As he reaches the top turnbuckle, however, Armageddon has gotten back to his feet. Blade leaps off with a crossbody block - NO! The big man catches him, and counters with a fall forward slam! And the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NO! Blade gets the shoulder up in the nick of time. Frustration is beginning to set in as Armageddon drags his opponent to his feet once more. An Irish whip sends Blade to the corner, and Armageddon charges in after him - only to run chest first into the turnbuckle! Kris Cruise: Nobody home! Armageddon staggers backwards as Blade leaps up with a knee strike to the face. Again the big man stays on his feet, even as Blade follows up with a superkick! He just about reached the jaw with that one, but it's a spinning side kick that doubles the big man over before Jaxson Blade can land a jumping cutter! Armageddon gets driven face first into the mat, and Jaxson covers with a lateral press. ONE! . . TWO! . . Armageddon powers out! Stephy Auger: What strength from Armageddon there. He just threw Jaxson Blade a couple of feet. But Blade doesn't relent; he's quickly back to his feet as Armageddon rolls over onto his front before pushing himself upwards. As he's on all fours, however, Blade catches him with a punt kick to the head! And another one! Armageddon rolls over into a seated position, obviously dazed from the punts. But Blade doesn't ease up. He hits the ropes for momentum, coming back with a vicious penalty kick to the face. That one knocks Armageddon down onto his back, as Blade runs against the ropes again, this time for the springboard moonsault! And the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NO! Armageddon gets the shoulder up this time. Undeterred, Jaxson Blade gets back to his feet as he moves towards the corner. The fans waiting with anticipation as Blade stomps the mat several times; Armageddon is picking himself up in the center of the ring as Jaxson finally lunges forward with the superkick - NO! Armageddon catches the leg and counters with a lift up powerbomb! Blade is down on the mat, limbs splayed out at all angles as Armageddon steps on his chest as he moves towards the corner. Stephy Auger: What does he have in mind here? Kris Cruise: Whatever it is, Jaxson Blade needs to be careful here. The big man climbs slowly, heading towards the top rope with encouragement from Hans Krugger. The crowd gasp as the four hundred pounder stands atop the turnbuckle, before he leaps off with a body splash! NO!Jaxson Blade rolls out of the way, and Armageddon hits the mat! He rolls over onto his back as Jaxson Blade drapes an arm across the chest. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE!!! J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match ... JAXSON BLADE! Stephy Auger: Armageddon tried to end this one in spectacular fashion, but it didn't pay off in the end for the big man. Kris Cruise: Jaxson Blade escapes with the victory tonight in his FGA debut, overcoming all the odds to defeat Armageddon here. The referee helps Blade back to his feet, raising his arm as the crowd give him a round of applause. [ COMMERCIAL BREAK ]

LJ Summers vs. Kyle Ohio “Lithium” by Nirvana begins playing throughout the arena as Kyle Ohio steps out from behind the curtain, shadow boxing at the top of the aisle as the crowd begin to cheer for him J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing in at 185 pounds … He is ‘THE KNOCKOUT KING’ KYLE OHIO! Ohio sprints down the aisle, sliding into the ring before he pops up to his feet with a handspring. He poses on the turnbuckle, and the crowd continue cheering him on as the music begins to die down. Kris Cruise: Kyle Ohio ready for action tonight. He hasn’t had the best run as of late, but he’s never one to stay down. Stephy Auger: Only for the three count. But the fans seem to like him, for whatever reason. First half of the entrance will go here. With the fans in the arena awaiting the next bit of action live from FGA, it doesn't take long until the lights darken, and the local fans are left in darkness for some moments. A really familiar guitar riff kicks in on the PA system, and the riff keeps going, soon joined by a low humdrum of voices all trying to hum to the beat. The humdrum gets louder, the riff kicking up another notch or two as well, until about thirty seconds the drums kick in as well. THUNDER!
THUNDER!
This continues for a few more moments, the beat of 'Thunderstruck' by ACDC echoing throughout the arena, until the gravelly voice of Brian Johnson kicks in. The fans keep watching closely, waiting to see who will be arriving. A heavier drum beat kicks in, and then the noise dies down slightly and Johnson's voice manages to speak out again. YOU'VE BEEN.... Theres a moments pause, during which the drums kick into high gear and the bass hits. A loud crackling thunder is heard throughout the arena as well, as Johnson's voice screams out. THUNDER STRUCK! A big burst of stage flows over the stage, slowly thickening even as Thunderstruck keeps playing. After another 30 seconds or so, with the smoke still swirling around the stage, some more Thunder can be heard crackling throughout the arena, and through the smoke, as the music hits high gear walks LJ Summers. LJ slowly turns to hold his back to the crowd, arms spread wide and showing off his flag, and then slowly lowering his hand to point to the back where Skyla LaLo steps out to follow him! J.A. Aldridge: And his opponent, residing in Richmond, Virginia, weighing in at 285 pounds … He is ‘THE ANZAC WARRIOR’ LJ SUMMERS! As he reaches the ring Summers stops at the ring steps, allowing Skyla to strip off his cape and then he climbs up and into the ring, ready for battle. Kris Cruise: Four weeks ago we saw this man, LJ Summers debut with a victory over JD Anton. Can he continue his winning ways tonight? Stephy Auger: He made short work of JD Anton in that debut match, Cruise, but his opponent tonight is in a whole other league. LJ is going to have to dig deep, and really use those bulging biceps … um, if he wants to win this one. Kris Cruise: Stay focused, Stephy. The bell sounds to begin the match as both competitors circle the ring momentarily. They come together with a collar and elbow tie up as, unsurprisingly, LJ Summers overpowers his opponent, backing Ohio against the ropes. The referee calls for a break, which he gets quickly, before Summers fires off a couple of chops to the chest. An Irish whip follows; Kyle Ohio is sent across the ring, bouncing off the ropes at pace, only to get knocked down by a shoulderblock. Stephy Auger: Kyle Ohio looks like he just ran into a brick wall, Cruise. Indeed, Ohio does look surprised as he hits the mat, staring up at LJ Summers who runs against the ropes himself. He skips over Kyle, who has rolled onto his stomach. Ohio kips up to his feet as Summers hits the far ropes, only for Ohio to catch him with a hurricanrana! LJ flips over and bounces off the mat back first before moving towards the ropes, seeing Kyle Ohio celebrating in the center of the ring. Kyle sees his opponent getting back up, and he charges in. But LJ catches him with a back body drop that sends The Knockout King over the top rope. He does manage to land on the apron, though, before LJ rocks him with a European uppercut! And another! He grabs Ohio by the head and brings him towards the corner, whereupon Kyle gets sent face first into the steel post! Kris Cruise: Oh, that one had to hurt. Kyle Ohio might have a headache in the morning after that one. Kyle falls down to his knees, but LJ grabs him by the hair to bring him back to a vertical base, before The Anzac Warrior brings his opponent back into the ring with a suplex. He floats over into a cover. ONE! . . Kyle kicks out! Undeterred, LJ assumes a mounted position astride his opponent’s chest, before unloading with several hard right hands. The referee finally intervenes, at which point LJ Summers performs a deadlift gutwrench suplex to slam Kyle Ohio down into the mat. Stephy Auger: What strength there by LJ Summers! Kris Cruise: I’m impressed, Stephy. On the outside, Skyla is applauding her man’s efforts as he poses for the crowd. They, naturally, eat it up, before LJ turns his attention back to the match at hand. He brings Kyle back to a vertical base and whips him towards the corner, following him in with a running forearm smash! Ohio staggers out of the corner, only to get whipped against the ropes, before LJ catches him with a tilt-a-whirl slam. Kyle stays down for a few moments, clutching at his lower back as LJ stands over him and promptly drops an elbow down across the sternum. And the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Kyle kicks out! Undeterred, LJ grabs his opponent by the wrist and brings him up to his feet before delivering a thunderous short arm clothesline. Ohio spins through the air before hitting the mat. And LJ covers again, this time hooking the leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . Kyle kicks out! Skyla continues encouraging her man, telling him that it’ll all be over soon. But Summers walks around the ring, looking down at his prone opponent. Kris Cruise: Kyle Ohio has to try and find a way back into this match if he’s to have any chance of winning tonight. Stephy Auger: Way to state the obvious, Cruise. LJ hooks his opponent in a butterfly hold as he brings Kyle back to his feet, before delivering a double underhook suplex. No pin attempt, though. Instead he brings Kyle back up and promptly delivers a snap suplex. Again, LJ Summers brings his opponent back to his feet, positioning Kyle Ohio in a standing headscissors as he holds his arms out to either side… Stephy Auger: We could be about to see the Essedon Bomber here, Cruise, and that might be all she wrote. Ohio gets hoisted up for the crucifix powerbomb - NO! He drops down the back to escape the move as LJ Summer spins around to see him. Kyle lashes out with a side kick to the midsection, doubling LJ over. A quick kung fu legsweep takes Summers off his feet, before Kyle lands a sloppy looking running shooting star press. ONE! . . LJ kicks out! Both competitors scramble to get back to their feet, but it’s LJ who gets up first. A scowl on his face as he rears back, delivering a thumping Polish hammer that sends Kyle Ohio spinning through the air again! Summers grabs his opponent up off the mat and lifts him high into the air with a military press slam, only to drop Kyle across the shoulder for a powerslam! Kris Cruise: Just when it looked like Kyle Ohio might have found a way back into this match, LJ Summers swings that momentum back into his favor. Stephy Auger: He’s just toying with Kyle Ohio now. The Anzac Warrior has been physically dominant here … and it’s easy to see why. LJ brings his opponent back to his feet once more, before whipping Kyle towards the corner. The Australian follows him with his patented Canberra Crush, squashing Ohio back against the corner. Ohio staggers out of the corner and falls to his knees. But LJ grabs him in a standing headscissors, lifting his opponent up for the Essedon Bomber again. Kyle Ohio gets driven into the mat, and LJ covers with the sit out pin. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE!!! J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match … LJ SUMMERS! Kris Cruise: And just like that, another win for LJ Summers. You can’t help but wonder how he feels after such a dominant display though, Stephy. Stephy Auger: Mark my words, Cruise, he’ll be crying out for tougher opposition next time round. It’s not bad enough he missed out on the Lethal Lottery tournament, but he’s dominated both JD Anton and Kyle Ohio now - he needs a challenge! He’ll want a challenge! LJ Summers and Skyla celebrate in the ring as the crowd continue cheering them on, before they finally leave the ring, just as Kyle Ohio finally begins to stir. [ COMMERCIAL BREAK ]

The Usual Suspects vs. Elysian Empire Dimebag Darrell’s building rift of “Cowboys from Hell” by Pantera abruptly begins over the PA system and the fans rise in anticipation of The Usual Suspects. The song begins its heavy thrashing as the dual guitars begin their monstrous battle for supremacy as the arena lights dim. A red spotlight shines on the black curtains and the fog begins to rise when Phil Anselmo’s screaming vocals begin… Oh…COME ON!!! Anthony Rother steps through the curtains dressed in one of his usual suits, holding his leather briefcase that he claims is only protecting contracts with FGA Management. Marx & Tryon step out from the entrance and stand in front of the smoked out curtains as the house lights return to brightness.
Under the lights where we stand tall Nobody touches us at all Showdown, shootout, spread fear within, without We’re gonna take what’s ours to have Spread the word throughout the land They say the bad guys wear black We’re tagged and can’t turn back J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first,at a combined weight of 462 pounds... JASON MARX, CHRIS TRYON … THE USUAL SUSPECTS!! Both men are dawning black hooded sweatshirts that obscure their face over their singlets. The trio stare out into the crowd, take in boos, and then begin walking to the ring. Rother jaws with a few of the fans in the aisle way. You see us comin’ And you all together run for cover We’re taking over this town The two men pause at the base of the ring apron as Rother ascends into the ring and steps through the ropes.
Here we come reach for your gun And you better listen well my friend, you see It’s been slow down below, Aimed at you we’re the cowboys from hell Both men hop up onto the ring apron next and enter through the ropes as the music begins to fade. They begin removing their shirts as Rother begins a brief coaching session as they wait for their opponents. Kris Cruise: Two weeks ago we saw The Usual Suspects come up short in their bid to become the FGA World Tag Team champions, but that may have been a blessing in disguise after #RubyWay attacked the champions, Status Quo, after the match. Stephy Auger: But now Anthony Rother has to lead his boys to victory tonight if they’re going to regain any of that momentum they had going into Retribution. We know they’re capable of winning the FGA World Tag Team titles, but tonight they just need to focus on the task at hand. Kris Cruise: They can try and focus, but after Rother’s comments earlier this week he may need to have eyes on the back of his head; he’s angered a lot of people backstage, and sooner or later someone will come to collect. Lets just hope nobody ruins this tag match. “Adrenaline” by Nine Lashes sounds out from the speakers and the fans excitedly jump to their feet. The lights begin to flicker as the opening guitar rift sounds out. The Elysian Empire make their way from the behind the curtain led by Effie Elysian. Emery and Elon bump fist as Effie presents them to the cheering crowd. They flex their muscles to the crowd before making their way down the ramp. J.A. Aldridge: And their opponents, fat a combined weight of 495 pounds... EMORY AND ELON ELYSIAN … THE ELYSIAN EMPIRE!! Elon slides into the ring while Emery takes the ring steps. Effie takes the steps as well and Emery sits on the second rope allowing Effie to easily enter the ring. Elon has already begun to stretch using the ropes and turnbuckle. Emery joins him as Effie begins to coach her brothers up. As they stretch the music begins to fade. The brothers bump fists once more as the bell rings. Kris Cruise: The Elysian Empire are making their FGA debut here tonight, three siblings from Milwaukee, Wisconsin who’ve been tasked with a mammoth job here. Stephy Auger: They have the advantage of being a relatively unknown entity, Cruise; The Usual Suspects might not know what to expect here, and with their heads being who knows where … lets just say we’ve all seen upsets before. This could be another one. Tryon and Elon look set to start this match off for their teams as the crowd start up a negative chant aimed at The Usual Suspects. Tryon and Marx manage to shake it off, but Rother looks visibly displeased at the chant. But in the ring, Tryon and Elon lock up collar and elbow. Elon manages to overpower his smaller opponent, pushing Tryon back towards a neutral corner. The referee calls for a break before Elon goes for a right hook, which Tryon ducks under. Their positions are reversed as Tryon fires off several chops and forearm smashes, before he brings Elon out of the corner, raking his eyes across the top rope as he does so. An Irish whip follows, but Elon reverses; it’s Chris who’s sent against the ropes before he’s knocked down by a back elbow. Elon runs against the ropes himself, hopping over the prone Tryon who then picks himself up in time to leapfrog over his opponent. Elon hits the ropes once more, coming back with a clothesline that knocks Tryon down! Kris Cruise: Elon Elysian using his size and strength advantage to maintain the advantage here in the early goings. He may be inexperienced, but with his lineage he should be a natural in that ring. Tryon gets right back up, only to walk into a body slam as Elon throws him down with authority. Emery Elysian gets the tag in as The Elysian Empire take a moment to double team Tryon. They push him into the corner and throw several punches before the referee orders Elon to leave. But Emery has the upper hand, bring Tryon out of the corner with a vertical suplex before he floats over into a cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Tryon kicks out. Emery sits his opponent up and applies a rear chinlock, trying to wear Tryon down. It doesn’t work out exactly as planned, however, as Tryon soon begins to fight his way out of the hold. He gets back to one knee, firing off several elbows to the midsection to weaken Emery’s grip before Tryon rakes the eyes! Emery Elysian staggers away, giving his opponent some breathing room as Chris hits the ropes, coming back with a tilt-a-whirl arm drag. Emery quickly gets back up to his feet, only to get caught by a dropkick to the face. He’s slower to get up after that one, allowing Tryon time to tag in Jason Marx. Marx enters the ring and stomps at Emery, trying to keep him down on the mat. But Emery does manage to stand up as Marx applies a standing wrist lock, bringing Emery towards the corner as he makes the tag out to Tryon. He then climbs the turnbuckle, jumping off the top rope with a shot to the shoulder of his opponent. Emery staggers away holding his arm as Tryon makes the tag right back out to Marx, who proceeds to hit a full nelson slam on Emery Elysian, before going for the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Emery powers out. Stephy Auger: Chris Tryon just got tossed across the ring there. Kris Cruise: A strong kick out by Emery Elysian; The Usual Suspects will need to do more than that is they want to win this one. Marx gets back up and stomps at his opponent, bringing Emery up the wrist, before delivering a short arm clothesline. A scoop slam follows, planting Emery Elysian near the ropes as Tryon gets the tag in. He leaps over the top rope with a slingshot leg drop and he goes for the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Emery kicks out! Tryon looks annoyed, but he drags his opponent back to his feet again, setting Emery up for an Irish whip. Elysian is sent across the ring, coming back to see his opponent lowering his head for a back body drop. The veteran has it scouted, though, countering with a boot to the face! Tryon flails his arms trying to remain on his feet, but Emery charges at him from close range with the kitchen sink knee strike to the midsection! Tryon gets back up, only to get scooped up onto the shoulder of Emery Elysian, who plants him with a powerslam. Into the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Marx makes the save! He continues stomping at Emery’s head as the referee pushes Marx away, but the damage seems to have been done. Elysian takes a moment to get back to his feet, but Tryon is up and waiting for him as he charges in with a tornado DDT! Emery gets spiked head first into the canvas as Tryon drags him towards the corner. He shakes off the cobwebs and heads to the turnbuckle himself, performing a double jump moonsault! And the cover by Tryon! ONE! . . TWO! . . Emery kicks out! Kris Cruise: The Usual Suspects turning the tide just like that, and now The Elysian Empire may be in trouble here. Stephy Auger: They’ve been outmatched for a large portion of this contest, Cruise. It’ll take a miracle for them to get back into this one. Tryon heads towards the corner to tag in Marx again. They perform a double team suplex before tryon is ejected from the ring, but Marx doesn’t make the cover this time. Rother is marching back and forth ordering Marx to finish this one quickly, but Marx drags his opponent back to his feet and marches him towards the corner. Emery is sent head first into the turnbuckle, whereupon he falls into the corner, and Marx unloads with a series of chops to the chest. An Irish whip attempt is feinted by Marx, as he turns it into a spinebuster. And the hook of the leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NO! Elon Elysian makes the save for his brother, but the referee is quick to eject him from the ring. Elon seems to protest however, urging the referee to turn around and see where Tryon has re-entered the ring to double team Emery Elysian. But to no avail. Tryon leaves the ring before the referee does turn around again, much to the chagrin of Effie and Elon Elysian. But Marx drags the elder Elysian back to his feet for a stalling brainbuster - he manages to hold Emery up in the air for nearly five seconds in an impressive display of strength, before driving him into the canvas. No pin attempt, though, as Marx instead makes the tag out to Chris Tryon. The crowd boo loudly as the cocky Texan swaggers into the ring, stomping at his prone foe before dragging Emery to his feet. Tryon sends his opponent head first into the corner before Emery collapses back against the turnbuckle. An Irish whip sends him from pillar to post as Tryon charges in - NO! Emery gets the boot up, driving it into the face of Chris Tryon! Kris Cruise: I think we might be seeing that miracle, Stephy! Emery Elysian with the boot to the face to counter, what can he do from here? Tryon staggers back a couple of steps before running at his opponent again, only to hit the turnbuckle chest first as Emery side steps! A German suplex by Emery Elysian catches his opponent unaware, folding Tryon up like an accordion as the crowd cheer accordingly! On the outside, Rother looks set to burst a blood vessel. Fortunately for him Emery Elysian can’t make the pin straight away. Instead he crawls over, rolls Tryon onto his back and drapes an arm across the chest. ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NOO! Tryon kicks out! Stephy Auger: Not enough to keep Chris Tryon down! Neither man is quick back to their feet, but Emery Elysian strikes first with a toe kick to the midsection. He dives around the back and goes for the back suplex, but Tryon flips over and lands on his feet. He counters with a dropkick to the back, but with a healthy dose of luck, Emery lands in his own corner as Elon Elysian makes the tag! The fresh brother storms the ring as takes Tryon down with a clothesline! Marx enters the ring and charges in, but Elon catches him with a snap powerslam! He rolls away clutching his back as his partner, Chris Tryon stands back up, only to get hit by a fallaway slam! Marx gets back up, but soon gets clotheslined over the top rope and out of the ring as Elon turns his attention back to Tryon. The former tag champion staggers backwards as he gets back to his feet, right into an olympic slam! The crowd cheer as Elon hooks the leg! ONE! . . TWO! . . THRE-NOOO! Kris Cruise: Jason Marx with the save in the nick of time! Marx drags Elon Elysian off his partner, and right out of the ring. Elysian lands on his feet, but Marx is ready with some hard right hands before delivering a short arm clothesline on the outside! He rolls Elon back into the ring before Emery can intervene; the referee keeping an eye on all the people outside the ring as Tryon forces himself back to his feet inside the ring. Elon gets back to his feet as Tryon drops him with a belly to back suplex. Elon is down on the mat as Tryon moves towards the corner once again. He steps out onto the apron and begins climbing, heading to the top rope, steadying himself before he leaps off with a somersault leg drop…. NO!Elon rolls out of the way, and Tryon lands ass first on the mat! The crowd cheer again as he howls in agony, clutching his backside in pain as he rolls around the ring. On the outside Rother looks irate; he’s turning red and yelling at Tryon not to mess up, but there’s very little Tryon can do about Elon Elysian right now. The rookie drags Tryon to his feet, grabbing him from behind as he looks for the Elon Bomb - when Rother jumps up onto the apron! The referee is distracted, as is Elon Elysian - but the annoyance turns to fear as Rother clutches at his chest! Stephy Auger: I knew he came back to work too soon! Kris Cruise: Anthony Rother clutching at his heart - he may be having another heart attack here! Elon Elysian looks over the top rope in horror as Rother falls to the floor, but Tryon runs up behind his opponent and performs an O’Connor roll! Rother gets back to his feet as the referee makes the count. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE!!! Emery gets taken out by Marx before he can break up the pin, and the referee calls for the bell! J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the winners of this match … THE USUAL SUSPECTS! Tryon and Marx exit the ring hastily, celebrating with Rother on the outside as the three members of The Elysian Empire stay in the ring. They know they’ve been hard done by here. Kris Cruise: He was faking! Rother faking a heart attack to distract the referee, and The Usual Suspects steal the victory here. Stephy Auger: Genius, Cruise! That was just pure genius on the part of Anthony Rother, and The Usual Suspects are back to their winning ways. Look out Status Quo, the next FGA World Tag Team Champions are back in business! QUARTERFINALS OF THE WILDCARD LOTTERY TOURNAMENT Savannah Taylor vs. Izzy Anders A somber strum of a guitar echoed out throughout the arena. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a quarterfinals match in the Wildcard Lottery Tournament! Introducing first, fighting out of Holland, Michigan! Weighing in at 157 pounds! She is the “Mindkiller”... IZZY ANDERS! Kris Cruise: Izzy Anders and Savannah Taylor advance past the first round as they defeated the wildcard team of Salem Cartier and Nero Darling. Now Anders is just three wins away from capturing the World Championship. Anders has defeated Savannah Taylor in the past. But will she be able to defeat Taylor again? J.A. Aldridge: Her opponent, from Las Vegas, Nevada! Weighing in at 120 pounds… SAVANNAH TAYLOR! Kris Cruise: Savannah Taylor was at the top of the mountain on the opposite coast. She badly wants to get back to the top and is now just three wins away from becoming a World Champion again. The bell sounds as both grapplers lock up. After jockeying for position, Taylor places Anders in a side headlock. Anders tries to shove Taylor off of of her. But Taylor keeps the hold locked on. After grabbing Taylor and moving back into the ropes, Anders goes to shove Taylor off of her and into the far ropes. But Taylor drops down to a knee while keeping the headlock applied. The ref gets down and asks Anders if she wants to give up. But Anders refuses. Right after Anders gets back up to a vertical base, Taylor throws her down with a side headlock takeover. Anders quickly reverses into a headscissors. But Taylor escapes with a kip up. After Anders scrambles back to a vertical base, Taylor traps her in another side headlock. Anders then grabs a hold of Taylor and goes for a belly to back suplex. But Taylor rolls over her shoulder, lands on her feet and applies another side headlock. Anders then shoves Taylor off of her and into the ropes. When Taylor comes back, Anders knocks her down with a standing shoulder block. Anders goes to follow up with a hard stomp to the face. But Taylor rolls out of the way. As Taylor is getting back to her feet, Anders throws out a roundhouse kick. But Taylor moves out of the way. After a kick to the midsection, Taylor takes Anders and goes for an irish whip. But Anders reverses, sending Taylor into the ropes. When Taylor returns, she slides through Anders’ legs. When Anders turns around, Taylor gets back up, kicks her in the midsection and follows up with a DDT. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Anders kicks out. Taylor picks up Anders, moves her into the ropes and delivers a knife edge chop. Anders answers back with a chop of her own. Taylor comes back with three knife edge chops. Anders comes back with a chop of her own. Taylor then comes back with five knife edge chops. Anders comes back with a hard slap across the face. After a knee to the midsection, Anders takes Taylor and tosses her through the ropes and to the floor. While Taylor gets up on the floor, Anders runs into the far ropes. When Anders returns, she turns on a dime and wags her finger, which results in boos from the crowd. As Taylor is climbing up onto the apron, Anders quickly runs back over and knocks Taylor off the apron and to the floor. Kris Cruise: Taylor already took one hard fall to the floor after Izzy recklessly tossed her to the floor. Now she just took another as Izzy sent her flying off the apron. While Taylor is trying to shake out the cobwebs, Anders sits down on the apron and waves her up. She then slips down to the floor, spins Taylor around and knocks her down with a palm strike. Anders reaches down, picks up Taylor, slams her face-first onto the apron and rolls her back into the ring. Anders then slides back in and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Taylor kicks out. Kris Cruise: One of these two will be the first to advance to the semifinals of this Wildcard Lottery, where they will face the winner of Dan Herrera vs. Cordy Stevenson. Anders picks up Taylor and performs an arm wrench. After another arm wrench, Anders kicks Taylor in the chest. She then takes Taylor and whips her into the ropes. When Taylor returns, Anders knocks her down with a running European Uppercut. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Taylor kicks out. Anders picks up Taylor, marches into the corner and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Taylor around, Anders delivers a series of knife edge chops. She then brings Taylor from out of the corner and goes for an irish whip. But Taylor reverses, sending Anders into the ropes. When Anders reverses, Taylor tackles her down with a Lou Thesz Press. She then mounts herself on top of Anders and rains down rights and lefts. Taylor picks up Anders and gives her a taste of her own medicine by tossing her through the ropes and to the floor. She then runs into the far ropes. As Izzy gets up off the floor, Taylor connects with a baseball slide to the back, which sends Anders down to the floor. She then steps out onto the apron and waves up Anders. Once Anders gets up and turns around, Taylor knocks her down with an Asai Moonsault. Kris Cruise: Taylor takes down Anders with the moonsault to the floor! Taylor picks up Anders and rolls her back into the ring. After rolling herself back in, she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Anders gets her shoulder up. Taylor picks up Anders and knocks her back with a right hand. Se then walks over and nails Anders with another right hand. The second punch ends up knocking Anders back into the corner. While Anders tries to shake out the cobwebs, Taylor delivers several kicks to the midsection. She then takes Anders and goes for an irish whip. But Anders reverses, sending Taylor into the opposite corner. Anders then charges across the ring and goes for a running European Uppercut. But Taylor moves out of the way, causing Anders to crash into the corner. As Anders stumbles back, Taylor grabs her from behind before throwing her down with Blonde Ambition. ONE! . . TWO! . . Anders gets her shoulder up. Kris Cruise: For the second time tonight, Anders missed that charging European Uppercut into the corner and her opponent capitalized. Stephy Auger: But Anders was able to avoid the three count. Taylor picks up Anders and whips her into the ropes. When Anders comes back, Taylor throws out a spinning backfist. But Anders ducks and runs into the ropes. When Anders comes back, Taylor flattens her with a yakuza kick. She then follows up with a standing moonsault. Taylor hooks the leg. ONE!
. . TWO! . . Anders gets her shoulder up. Taylor picks up Anders and whips her into the corner. She then runs into the corner and throws out a yakuza kick. But Anders catches her foot. She then shoves Taylor down to the canvas. As Taylor back rolls and gets up on a knee, Anders knocks her down with a shining yakuza kick. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Taylor gets her shoulder up. Anders picks up Taylor, moves her into the corner and unleashes a series of European Uppercuts in the corner. She then takes Taylor, whips her across the ring, follows her into the corner and nearly takes her head off with a running European Uppercut. Anders then sends Taylor slumping down in the corner with machine gun punches. She then steps back and chokes Taylor while pulling down on the top rope. Anders cups her ear to the ref as he gives her until the count of five to break the choke. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Anders breaks the choke. She then reaches down, slowly pulls up Taylor by the hair and slaps her. Anders then slaps her again. Anders goes for another slap. But Taylor blocks and counters with a punch to the face. Taylor then knocks Anders back with another punch… and another… and another. While Anders is dazed, Taylor turns and runs into the ropes. When Taylor comes back, Anders knocks her down with a running hip strike to the face. Anders reaches down, sits up Taylor by pulling her up by the hair and points to a random fan before running into the ropes. When Anders returns, she charges towards Taylor and flattens her with a penalty kick. She drops down and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Taylor gets her shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Anders nearly kicked Taylor’s head off with the penalty kick, but it only gets two. Anders picks up Taylor and whips her into the ropes. When Taylor returns, Anders doubles her over with a knee to the midsection. After turning Taylor around, Anders lifts her up for a running Liger Bomb. But Taylor counters with punches to the head. After slipping down in front of Anders, Taylor throws out a roundhouse kick. But Anders catches her leg. Anders turns her over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! Taylor gets her shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Again, Taylor avoids the three count. Stephy Auger: Taylor’s tough. She proved that at Retribution when she won the Shattered Dreams Match against Magnus Gunner. But between that, the tag match earlier tonight and now the assault by Anders in this match, you’ve got to wonder just how much she’s got left in the tank. Anders picks up Taylor, lifts her up onto her shoulders and goes for a running Liger Bomb. But Taylor counters with a hurricanrana at the last second. After both grapplers return to their feet, Anders throws out a roundhouse kick. But Taylor swats it down. Anders then throws out a palm strike. But Taylor ducks. When Anders turns around, Taylor doubles her over with a kick to the midsection before bringing her down with The Gamble. She makes the cover. ONE!

Stephy Auger: Taylor’s got the advantage for the first time in several minutes. But can she capitalize? Taylor picks up Anders and whips her into the corner. Taylor runs into the corner and connects with a yakuza kick. She then takes Anders and whips her into the opposite corner. Taylor then runs across the ring and connects with a hesitation dropkick. After Anders crumbles from out of the corner, Taylor picks up Anders, lifts her up and plants her with a brainbuster. She then steps through the ropes, scales up to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and connects with a Frog Splash. Taylor hooks the leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! Anders gets her shoulder up. Taylor picks up Anders, brings her into the corner and lifts her up onto the middle ropes. After stepping out onto the apron, Taylor climbs up onto the top turnbuckle, places Anders in a three quarter facelock, flips back and delivers an avalanche shiranui. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NO! Anders gets her shoulder up. Taylor places her hands over her face. Kris Cruise: I thought that was it, too! Taylor picks up Anders and lifts her up for another brainbuster. Once Anders gets to her feet and turns around, Taylor flips off and goes for the Snake Eyes. But Anders catches her on her shoulders, turns and counters with a running Liger Bomb. ONE! . . TWO! . . THRE-NO! Taylor gets her shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Taylor went for a dragonrana. But Izzy caught her in mid air, turned and threw her down with a running sitout powerbomb! And Taylor still got the shoulder up! Anders picks up Taylor and unleashes a kick flurry that lasts about ten seconds. While Taylor is doubled over, Anders lifts up Taylor and plants her with the Shotgun Party. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! “One More Soul to the Call” blares throughout the arena as the crowd boos. J.A. Aldridge: Here is your winner, IZZY ANDERS! Anders gets her arm raised as the crowd boos. Kris Cruise: Izzy Anders once again gets the better of Savannah Taylor. She advances to the semifinals of the Wildcard Lottery Tournament. Who will join her in the semifinals? Will it be Dan Herrera that she faces in the next round? Or will it be Cordy Stevenson? We’ll find out shortly as the FGA World Tag Team Champions collide! [ COMMERCIAL BREAK ]

The feed cuts backstage to reveal an irritated Spencer Burke adjusting his blazer, getting ready for his next interview. After a few moments everybody watching at home can relate to exactly how he feels as we see Anthony Rother step into the picture with Jason Marx and Chris Tryon standing behind him. Burke sighs and mutters something about getting this over with before he addresses his unwanted guest.
Spencer Burke: Alright Rother… You requested this interview time and unfortunately there’s only one person with my job title in this company.
Rother appears genuinely hurt by Burke’s comments, initially. Then his expression changed to plain visibly irritated.
Anthony Rother: Is that any way to introduce somebody who’s gone through what I have the past few days, Burke? Is that any way to insult a man who courageously stared the grim reaper right in the face, only to give him the finger and make a full recovery?
Burke’s eyes rolled momentarily before he smirked, almost as if he had something up his sleeve.
Spencer Burke: Okay – okay, so it’s my understanding that you wanted to give everybody an update on your health.
Anthony Rother: Of course! It’s the only right thing to do. After all, I do have a following of fans who are a cut above the mouth-breathing mutants; fans who actually know and appreciate greatness when they see it.
Spencer Burke: Really? I’ve never seen these “fans” that you speak of.
Anthony Rother: I’m not surprised. Why would they ever choose to address you when it’s obvious that you share Lenny T’s hatred of me. But that conversation is one for another day.
Spencer Burke: Just get on with it.
Anthony Rother: Oh Spencer, you should have been there. The story of what happened to me is so fantastic, you would have had to have been there just to believe it.
Rother moved to position himself as if he was about to begin narrating a spectacular story.
Anthony Rother: There I was, driving home from the Miami-Dade International Airport; I had just come back from Germany. I was sitting at a red light when I heard it, Spence…
Spencer Burke: Heard what?
Anthony Rother: It was the sound of a frightened mother. She had just been car-jacked by two men who robbed a convenient store, and they drove off with her car while her eight month old infant was still in the back seat. She quickly gave me a description of the vehicle and I could see it speeding away. That was when I sprung into action, Spence!
Spencer Burke: What?
Anthony Rother: I revved up the engine on my Toyota Prius and peeled out! I dodged the cars to my left…
Rother placed his right hand on an imaginary steering wheel, and made a sudden movement with his hands and body, as if he were driving.
Anthony Rother: I dodged the cars to my right…
Same movements, just in the opposite direction.
Anthony Rother: But it was to no avail, I wasn’t making ground… So I did the unthinkable Spence! I cut into the oncoming traffic lanes doing 90 miles per hour in rush hour Miami traffic, in a Prius!
Spencer Burke: A Prius? *Burke asked mockingly*
Anthony Rother: Yes, a Prius! I could see the scoundrels off to my right, that’s when I knew I had them. I quickly swung my Prius in front of the car and made them come to a screeching halt!
Spencer Burke: Unbelievable…
Anthony Rother: Oh, but I’m not done yet Spence! The two assailants exited the vehicle; one wielded a knife and the other a gun! That’s when my martial arts training kicked into action!
Spencer Burke: Martial Arts training?
Anthony Rother: The man with the blade rushed at me, I ducked a thrust and swept him off of his feet with a leg sweep. In one fluid motion, I did a flip towards the man with the gun; before he could fire I quickly disarmed him and knocked him out with a pistol whip. I walked over to the vehicle that they had taken and I saw the crying infant in the back seat. I pulled the little guy to safety as the crying mother came running up to me. It was at this moment, when I handed her the baby that my heart gave out from the adrenaline rush. I fell to the ground and lost consciousness, and that’s how I ended up in the hospital with a life-threatening heart attack.
Spencer Burke: …I think I’m literally at a loss for words.
Anthony Rother: I know Spence. As hard as it is to believe, that is what happened. I haven’t even gone through the ordeal at the hospital yet, so let---
Spencer Burke: Wait, before you go through another fantasy, I actually have an update on your hospital stay.
Rother stopped in his tracks, narrowed his eyes and looked directly at Spencer.
Anthony Rother: You what?
Ignoring Rother, Burke pulled out an index card from the breast pocket of his blazer and began reading his notes.
Spencer Burke: I received information from Wrestlescoop.com that in fact their research from your stay at the hospital revealed that you didn’t even have a heart attack…
Anthony Rother: Excuse me…???
Spencer Burke: In fact, you suffered from a minor panic attack.
Burke smirked as Rother began to protest.
Anthony Rother: It’s an obvious lie! That amateur blog has been out to get me since---
Spencer Burke: It gets better.
Anthony Rother: …
Spencer Burke: Further research from Wrestlescoop.com revealed that this minor panic attack was the result of a visit from a less than reputable, paid for, woman who rushed out of your apartment to avoid being asked any questions.
Anthony Rother: Lies! All lies!
Rother began stomping and throwing a tantrum.
Anthony Rother: How dare you pay that hack website any mind Burke! I actually have proof that the story I told you here tonight is the absolute tru---
Before he can finish defending his comments in his inimitable quote-unquote style, Rother begins to trail off as he sees something off camera, soon followed by that “something” walking into shot - and it looks an awful lot like an incredibly PO’d Johnny Karma, with an equally PO’d Cherry Baum walking alongside him, marching straight towards Rother
Upon reaching Rother and the Usual Suspects, Karma takes a step forward to shield Cherry from what he’s got in mind...but first he’s got a couple of things to say
Johnny Karma: A little bird told me that you were making comments about members of my family. Since I’m here, would you like to remind me what it was that you said?
Maintaining eye contact with Rother, Karma unfastens the wrists of his already-unzipped jacket, knowing full well what he has in mind.
Anthony Rother: You really think I’m scared of you?
Rother feels brave, at the moment, knowing that Jason Marx and Chris Tryon are standing just behind him.
Anthony Rother: I said what I said about your pussy grandfather and I stand by my statements. Besides, there are two facts that you seem to be forgetting about Johnny. Number one, you are outnumbered. Number two, you said time and time again that you are above attacking anybody backstage! These facts mean that you’ll lose this fight AND you’ll by a hypocrite!
Stopping in his tracks, Karma quickly looks over Rother’s shoulder to see where Marx and Tryon are standing, at which point he places a reassuring hand on Rother’s shoulder
Johnny Karma: You know, for the first time in your life you're right about something, I did say that you would never see me stoop so low as to attack other members of the roster backstage…
Karma pats a relieved-looking Rother on the shoulder...but just as Rother lets out a deep sigh of relief, Karma finishes what he was about to say
Johnny Karma: ...but that only applies to members of the human race, so you’re out of luck.
Before Rother even has the chance to soil his suit, Karma rushes forward...and sprints right past Rother to deck Marx with a running elbow that knocks him to the floor, and he quickly turns around to tag a surprised Tryon with a hard right. Rother backs away from the fight as Karma continues to stomp at Marx. He’s caught from behind by Chris Tryon, who hammers away with rapid fire right hands.
Karma fires off a back elbow, catching Tryon across the bridge of the nose as he stumbles back. And suddenly Johnny fires off a couple of left jabs before unleashing a thunderous right hand. But his celebration is short lived as Marx blindsides him, throwing Karma face first into a nearby drink’s machine. Cherry yells out in horror as Karma falls to the floor; the numbers beginning to overwhelm him as both members of The Usual Suspects are up and stomping at the prone former Pride champion…
Anthony Rother: That’s what you get, Karma! Lay your hands on me, and this is what’ll happen to you!
He yells out in giddy delight, when his jaw drops. Rother doesn’t have time to warn his men before the figure barrels into them! Cherry looks just as shocked as The Tenacious Little Bastard takes both members of The Usual Suspects down with a flying double clothesline! He’s quickly back to his feet as he sends punches and kicks flying to try and keep Tryon and Marx down. Harter grabs Tryon by the back of the head, slamming him face first into a nearby table as Tryon staggers away in a daze.
Marx is beginning to get back to his feet behind Harter, though, unbeknownst to The Tenacious Little Bastard. But Karma spins Marx around on the spot and decks him with an elbow smash to the face. Harter turns around to see the downed Jason Marx, before he and Karma continue stomping the Usual Suspect into near oblivion. Tryon heads back in the direction from whence he came, but Harter grabs up an iPad from an unsuspecting person who just happened to be filming this, which he smashes over the head of Chris Tryon!
Dom Harter: Damn, that brought me back...
With both members of the Usual Suspects down, Karma and Harter turn their attention towards Rother, who looks as if he is on the verge of another panic attack - or perhaps is worried about what he will have to tell his dry cleaner when he next visits.
Anthony Rother: Boys, can’t we talk about this?
As things looks grim for Rother, Karma and Harter step aside, revealing Cherry Baum is checking her smartphone for something important
Cherry Baum: The good news for you is that there’s a hospital just down the street from where we are.
Handing her phone to Karma, Cherry continues
Cherry Baum: As for the bad news…
Cherry aims an almighty kick that catches Rother flush in the family jewels, connecting with such force that Rother is unable to make a single sound, instead slowly collapsing to the floor with his mouth wide open, his eyes screwed shut, and his hands covering his brutalized meat & veg.

QUARTERFINALS OF THE WILDCARD LOTTERY TOURNAMENT Dan Herrera vs. Cordy Stevenson The lights dim down and take on a purplish hue as a light smoky mist fills the entranceway. J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a quarterfinals match in the Wildcard Lottery Tournament! Introducing first, from Freeport, Long Island! Weighing in at 146 pounds… CORDY STEVENSON! Kris Cruise: Cordy Stevenson has come up short on numerous occasions to win the FGA World Championship. While the third time was not the charm for Cordy, is this Wildcard Lottery her ticket to the World Championship. If it is, she’ll have to go through not only her friend, but the man that co-holds the World Tag Team Titles with her. ...Spoken... J.A. Aldridge: Her opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Peaches! Now residing out of Raleigh, North Carolina and weighing in at 200 pounds… DAN HERRERA! Kris Cruise: Dan Herrera, like his tag team partner, has also come up short in his pursuits of the FGA World Championship. But he is just three wins away. He’s almost there. In two weeks, Herrera may be the new World Champion. But to do that, he’s got to go through Cordy Stevenson. Is he prepared to go through his partner and co-champion? Is he prepared to go through his friend and deny her a shot at the gold? The bell sounds with both grapplers shaking hands before circling the ring. After sizing each other up, they head towards the center of the ring and lock up. Stevenson gains the advantage with a side headlock. But Herrera shoves Stevenson off of her and into the ropes. When Stevenson returns, Herrera knocks her down with a standing shoulder block. He drops down and makes the cover. ONE! . . Stevenson kicks out. Herrera picks up Stevenson, moves her into the corner and delivers five knife edge chops. He then brings Stevenson from out of the corner and whips her into the far ropes. When Stevenson returns, Herrera sets up for a back body drop. But Stevenson counters with a sunset flip. ONE! . . Herrera kicks out. After both grapplers get back to their feet, Stevenson throws out the Foot Fetish. But Herrera swats it down and grabs Stevenson from behind. He goes to deliver a German Suplex. But on the way up, Stevenson elbows him in the face. She then delivers three more elbows to the face. Once the hold is broken, the crowd cheers as Stevenson takes off towards the ropes and connects with a handspring enzuigiri. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO!
. . Herrera kicks out. Kris Cruise: Tons of nearfalls in the early going of this contest. Stephy Auger: These two know what’s at stake. Why waste time? Just go for it. Besides, it’s like we’ve said many times before. It takes effort to kick out out every pin attempt. Stevenson picks up Herrera, moves her into the corner and delivers three knife edge chops. She then takes Herrera and whips him into the opposite corner. Stevenson then runs across the ring and goes for a handspring back elbow. But Herrera swats her down with a lariat from behind. He turns Stevenson over and makes the cover. ONE!
. . TWO! . . Stevenson gets her shoulder up. Herrera picks up Stevenson, moves her into the corner and unleashes a series of shoulder thrusts to the midsection. After delivering three knee strikes to the midsection, Herrera takes Stevenson and whips her back into the opposite corner. Herrera then runs across the ring and connects with a corner lariat. The crowd cheers as Herrera moves Stevenson from out of the way, climbs up onto the middle ropes and plants her with a Tornado DDT. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stevenson gets her shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Both of these grapplers have had multiple shots at the World Championship. But they haven’t been able to get the job done. Tonight, one of them is going to advance. Stephy Auger: Unless this ends in a draw. Now wouldn’t that be fitting for these two? Herrera picks up Stevenson and brings her down with a russian leg sweep. After Herrera returns to his feet, he heads into the ropes, comes back and delivers a leg drop. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stevenson gets her shoulder up. Herrera picks up Stevenson and goes for a vertical suplex. But Stevenson blocks the move. Herrera goes for another vertical suplex but again, Stevenson blocks the move. After delivering a punch to the midsection, the crowd cheers as Herrera delivers a neckbreaker. He makes the cover. ONE!
. . TWO! . . Stevenson gets her shoulder up. Herrera picks up Stevenson and flips her up for a vertical suplex. But Stevenson slips down from behind and follows up with a leaping reverse bulldog. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Herrera gets his shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Great counter by Stevenson, but it only gets two. A spot in the finals is up for grabs. A shot at the World Championship is up for grabs. Whole both of these grapplers will leave this match with Gold, only one will be one step closer to becoming the new FGA World Champion. Stevenson picks up Herrera and whips her into the ropes. When Herrera returns, Stevenson goes for Head over Heels. But Herrera catches her in mid air, runs across the ring and rams her back-first into the corner. After bringing Stevenson from out of the corner, Herrera lifts Stevenson up onto his shoulders with an electric chair. But before he can fall back, Stevenson punches him on the head. She then spins herself around on her his shoulders before delivering a hurricanrana. As Herrera is in the process of getting up, Stevenson runs over and brings him down with a swinging neckbreaker. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Herrera gets her shoulder up. Stevenson picks up Herrera and sets him up for a hangman’s neckbreaker. Stevenson begins to gyrate her hips to the catcalls of bot men and women in the crowd. But before she can bring Herrera down, Herrera quickly breaks free, turns, grabs Stevenson and goes for a belly to back suplex. But Stevenson rolls over his shoulder, lands on her feet and follows up with a dropkick to the back. The dropkick sends Herrera across the ring, through the ropes and onto the apron. While Herrera pulls himself up on the apron, Stevenson heads over and delivers a shoulder thrust through the ropes. While Herrera is doubled over, Stevenson steps back before running into the corner. She springboards onto the middle ropes, hops over the top rope and plants Herrera with a triangle DDT on the apron. Kris Cruise: Stevenson just DDT’d Herrera right on the apron! Stephy Auger: Did you see how his head bounced off the apron!? The crowd continues to cheer while Stevenson picks up Herrera and rolls him back inside. After rolling herself back in, she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Herrera grabs the bottom rope. Stevenson picks up Herrera, leans him against the ropes and connects with three right hands. She then takes Herrera and whips him into the far ropes. When Herrera returns, Stevenson brings him down with a basement dropkick. After returning to her feet, she places Herrera in a front facelock before planting him with a kneeling snap DDT. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Herrera gets his shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Stevenson with another hard DDT! But it only gets two! Peaches is trying to will on her man from the outside! The crowd, meanwhile, is 50/50 for both members of Status Quo! Who will advance!? Stevenson picks up Herrera and whips him into the corner. As she charges into the corner, Herrera dumps her to the outside. But Stevenson lands safely on the apron. After kicking Herrera’s leg out from under him and sending him down in the corner, the crowd cheers as Stevenson follows up with a slingshot corner dropkick. She then drags Herrera from out of the corner and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Herrera gets his shoulder up. Stevenson picks up Herrera and goes for an irish whip. But Herrera reverses, sending Stevenson into the ropes. When Stevenson returns, the crowd cheers as Herrera throws her down with a belly to belly suplex. He hooks the leg. ONE! . . TWO!
. . T-NO! Stevenson gets her shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Herrera was less than a second away from advancing! Herrera picks up Stevenson, lifts her up and brings her down with a Samoan Drop. While Stevenson is down, Herrera steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. When Stevenson returns to her feet and turns around, the crowd cheers as Herrera leaps off and knocks her down with a missile dropkick. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! Stevenson gets her shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Herrera comes off from the top turnbuckle with a huge dropkick! But it only gets two! Herrera picks up Stevenson and whips her into the ropes. When she returns, Herrera throws out a discus elbow strike. But Stevenson ducks and runs into the ropes. When Stevenson returns, the crowd cheers as Herrera lifts her up onto his shoulders before throwing her down with a double leg slam. Kris Cruise: Wit’s End by Herrera! Herrera steps back into the corner and begins waving up Stevenson. Kris Cruise: He’s lining her up, Stephy! Stephy Auger: Herrera’s readying himself to break Stevenson in half with the spear. As Stevenson slowly returns to her feet, Herrera crouches down and waits for her to turn around. When Stevenson turns around, Herrera darts out of the corner and goes for the spear. But Stevenson counters with the Foot Fetish. Kris Cruise: Stevenson with the last second counter! Stevenson picks up Herrera and goes for an irish whip. Herrera reverses, sending Stevenson towards the ropes. But Stevenson ends up using the momentum to connect with The Beautiful Nightmare. The crowd continues to cheer as she picks up Herrera, places him in a front facelock and goes for The Allure. But Herrera shoves Stevenson off of him and into the ropes. When Stevenson return, Herrera throws out a discus elbow strike. But Stevenson ducks and runs into the far ropes. When Herrera turns around, the crowd cheers as Stevenson plants him with Head Over Hills. While Herrera is down, Stevenson returns to her feet and makes her way over to the ropes. After stepping out onto the apron, Stevenson scales to the top turnbuckle and waits for Herrera. When Herrera gets up and turns around, the crowd cheers as Stevenson leaps off and delivers The O-Face. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! “New Level” blasts over the PA as the crowd explodes with cheers. J.A. Aldridge: Here is your winner, CORDY STEVENSON! Stevenson gets her arm raised while the crowd continues to cheer. Kris Cruise: Cordy Stevenson picks up the win by defeating her Status Quo partner, Dan Herrera! She advances to the semifinals! She’s just two matches away, Stephy Auger: Yeah, she advances. But at the Five Year Anniversary Show, she’ll be standing across the ring from a woman that is looking to break her in half. With how fragile Cordy’s body is, it wouldn’t shock me at all if Izzy puts her on the shelf. [ COMMERCIAL BREAK ]

We cut to the backstage area where we catch up with Evan Envi, who appears to be making his way out of the arena through a rear exit. The corridor is darkened and noticeably empty compared to the typically lively Prairie Capital Convention Center.
Spencer Burke: Evan! Hey--!
Evan Envi: Not a good time.
Spencer Burke: Wait! Evan, why the hurry? I’ve been trying to find you all night. We thought you already left the center. Or… Illinois altogether.
Evan Envi: Ah. Yeah? Why would I do that?
Spencer Burke: Well, because if I’ve been looking this hard for you for a few words then Molly Reid is--
Evan stops in his tracks. Spencer bumps into him. Quickly, Spencer takes a step back as Evan spins around.
Evan Envi: What? She mad?
Spencer Burke: Um…
Evan Envi: Me too. Molly Reid doesn’t have Pride Championship-caliber ring awareness and she exposed that tonight, so how she was gonna miraculously stumble her way through this tournament is beyond me. She screwed up and I’m sure she’ll blame it on me while ALLLLLL I was trying to do was give everyone a preview of what’s gonna happen on Christmas Eve anyway.
Evan sighs, continuing his trek toward the exit as he talks.
Evan Envi: Truth be told, Spence? I’m glad she lost. Because I should’ve been out there anyway. And if I can’t be the World Champion then Molly Reid doesn’t get to be the World Champion. As long as I’m breathing, that’s never gonna happen. Get that camera on me.
Evan pushes Spencer out of the way, speaking directly into the lens of the camera.
Evan Envi: It’s never gonna happen.
He pushes the camera back and shoots Spencer a glare out of the corner of his eye.
Evan Envi: I shouldn’t have to wait til Final Frontier to take the Pride Title either. If Jerkface McGirt Big Guy Upstairs had any backbone, I’d be scheduled for my Pride Championship match two weeks from tonight like I deserve. It’s my title and I want it now. Dangit.
Evan storms through the exit and out into the night.
Evan Envi: Fuji’s mom didn’t die for this!
He turns the corner and the door slams shut behind him as we fade away.
