The feed pans around at a shot of the Roy Wilkins Auditorium from high up above. We then cut to another panning shot of the venue, showing off the excited crowd. The FGA chants are near deafening as we are soon welcomed by the voice of Kris Cruise...

Kris Cruise: Welcome to the sold-out Roy Wilkins Auditorium! Welcome to St. Paul, Minnesota! Welcome everyone… to RETRIBUTION!

NON-TITLE MATCH
MOLLY REID vs. EVAN ENVI

“Can You Feel It?” hits the PA system to a deafening chorus of boos from the audience. As multicolored strobes flicker throughout the darkened arena, Evan Envi struts through the curtains toward the top of the ramp. He pauses, looking out among the audience before casually making his way toward the ring, seemingly ignorant to the boos and jeers raining down on him.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a non-title match. Introducing first, from Ocean City, Maryland, weighing in at 203 pounds … He is ‘THE CHIEF’ EVAN ENVI!

Finally, as Envi leaps onto the apron, our lights return to normal. Envi climbs the turnbuckles from the apron, grinning out into the audience, raising the double “V” fingers into the air before finally stepping over the ropes and dropping into the ring, fingers still raised above his head as he marches throughout the squared circle.

Kris Cruise: Our opening contest for the evening, and what a match this is sure to be, Stephy.

Stephy Auger: You’re just saying that because you know that win or lose, Molly Reid is walking out of here with that Pride championship. And that’s disgraceful, Cruise; Evan has more than earned a shot at that belt.

Kris Cruise:If that was true he would have won the five pack challenge last month on Vertigo. But it was Molly Reid who won that night, and it was Molly who beat Fujiko Mine to become the new Pride champion two weeks ago. But Evan has done everything he can to be a thorn in the side of Molly.

Stephy Auger: A thorn in the side? This all started because Molly was too ungrateful to accept his help at the Frontier Lions Cup. Now she wants to play the victim in all this? But it looks like The Chief might have something to say here...

Before Envi's music has even fully faded, he retrieves the microphone from Aldridge's hand and turns toward the hard camera with a smirk. Boos resonate throughout the audience as Envi raises the mic to his lips. He shakes his head at the jeers and catcalls as he begins to speak.

Evan Envi: I hate your guts too, Jerktown, Minnesota.

Deafening boos greet Envi in response who angrily points toward individuals in the crowd as he continues.

Evan: You've always treated me like dirt here in Minnesota and you don't even have the right to as a state. Most of you live out here because you're STUCK out here and unlike ME, you weren't raised with the natural ability to break out of your surroundings. That's why you've always hated me, ever since I was a little Baby Envi in 2007! That's why you've always gone out of your way to boo me and interrupt me and put me down, because I have been better than every single one of you since I was seventeen years old and every single one of you still sucks. And I hope your whole football team tears their quads. Bite me, Jerktown.

Envi rolls his eyes away from the crowd, in spite of the pure volume and focuses on the ramp.

Evan: Everybody that paid money to see Evan Envi get his face kicked in tonight...

This inspires a roar from the audience, to which Envi can't ignore. He rolls his eyes again as a "WE WANT MOLLY!" chant picks up.

Evan: It SUCKS to be you then because I am UNMOLLYKICKABLE! I told her what's gonna happen to her and her career if she sticks that stupid chicken-leg out at me. And you people cheering her on, hoping she does it, hoping she TRIES THE CHIEF-- you're responsible for what goes down in here. It's on you. And if Molly can't crawl back here a second time to defend her Pride Championship after the inevitable then rest assured, I'll be right here waiting to elevate that poor Pride Championship back to the level it--

Envi abruptly drops the microphone and backs to the center of the ring as the lights in the arena dim as Crazy Bitch by Buckcherry begins to play over the loudspeakers in the arena. A spotlight appears on the stage as Molly Reid walks out in her wrestling gear, staring straight ahead at the ring, and the opponent who’s standing inside.

Kris Cruise: It looks like Molly Reid had heard enough!

J.A. Aldridge: And his opponent, from Los Angeles, California … She is the current FGA PRIDE CHAMPION … MOLLY REID!

She marches down the ramp to cheers from the crowd, reaching out and high fiving some of them. She slides into the ring and jumps up. The crowd here in Minnesota are already rallying behind the Pride champion, chanting “Lets Go Molly!”, causing Evan to look aghast around the arena. He tells the fans to shut up, but that just allows Molly the opening to run across the ring with a flying forearm! The crowd pop as Evan hits the mat, but he’s quickly back to his feet as Molly runs in again with a clothesline this time. Envi rolls out of the ring to gather his bearings as the Minnesota crowd continue taunting him and, inside the ring, Molly Reid takes a moment to play to the crowd.

Kris Cruise: The Pride champion taking the fight to Evan Envi here in the early goings. All those months of pent up frustration just coming out, and I bet that feels good for Molly.

Stephy Auger: Oh who cares how she feels? She didn’t even wait for the bell to sound, Cruise, and she’s supposed to be the Pride champion.

Kris Cruise: And this match, of course, not being contested under Pride rules. It’ll be just one fall to a win here for one of these two.

Envi rolls back into the ring and slowly gets back to his feet as both competitors find themselves circling the ring. A collar and elbow tie up follows as Evan manages to gain the upper hand as he dives around the back with a rear waistlock. A takedown brings Molly to the mat as Evan transitions into a front facelock. He uses that hold to lift Molly to all fours, but the Pride champion manages to fight her way out with a double leg takedown to counter into a jackknife pin for the early cover!

Evan kicks out!

Both competitors scramble to get back to their feet as Molly lunges forward with a clothesline, which Evan ducks with ease and counters with a backslide!

Molly kicks out!

This time both competitors are slow to their feet; Evan making the ‘I see you’ gesture as they circle the ring. The fans don’t appreciate it, however, and continue booing him as he and Molly lock up again. Evan rakes the eyes this time, gaining the upper hand and an admonishment from the referee, before he grabs the arm for an arm wringer. He drops the elbow down across the shoulder once for good measure, forcing Molly down to one knee. But Evan brings her to her feet again, and backs the Pride champion into the corner. Envi unleashes a series of knife edge chops to the chest; he moves towards the center of the ring after the fifth one connects, taunting the crowd momentarily, before charging in with a running clothesline. A bulldog follows, bringing Molly Reid out of the corner and face first into the mat.

Evan sits his opponent up, delivering a vicious soccer kick to the spine before slapping Molly around the back of the head. Another soccer kick to the spine keeps Molly in position as Evan hits the ropes behind her, before coming back with a flipping neckbreaker. Molly collapses to the mat holding her neck in pain as Evan moves in close, getting in her face as he continues the trash talk, before rolling her onto her back for the cover. A forearm across the face as the referee counts.

Molly kicks out.

Undeterred, Evan brings his opponent back to her feet once more, connecting with some forearm strikes that force Reid against the ropes. An Irish whip follows as Molly is sent across the ring, rebounding with a spinning heel kick! It catches Evan by surprise as both competitors scramble to get back to their feet again. Evan is up first, catching Molly with a boot to the gut before applying a butterfly hold. The Pride champion spins out of that predicament, however, countering with a boot to the midsection of her own before following up with a spinning neckbreaker!

This time it’s Molly who gets up first; she stays crouched down as Evan stands up, catching him with a dropkick to the kisser. Evan falls, but gets right back up as Molly connects with another dropkick. This time Evan gets up near the ropes as Molly flies at him with a Superman punch, knocking Envi out through the middle rope, all the way to the outside!

Kris Cruise: What a punch by Molly there, and Evan is in danger on the outside.

Stephy Auger: How she managed to get back into this one I’ll never know, Cruise, but Molly will have to pull out all the stops here tonight if she wants to win this one.

Molly takes a moment to play to the crowd, earning herself a large pop as she motions to where Evan is rising on the outside. She hits the far ropes, picking up a head of steam as she comes back with a suicide dive through the ropes! And down goes Evan Envi, leaving Molly to stand tall. The crowd cheer again as Molly lifts her opponent back to his feet, slamming Evan face first into the ring apron before rolling him back into the ring. She follows him in as Evan staggers away towards the center of the ring, giving Molly chance to run at him with a tornado DDT! And the pin attempt by Molly Reid.

Evan kicks out!

Molly takes a moment to catch her breath after that exertion, before sitting Evan up in a similar manner to what he did earlier. She applies a surfboard submission hold, her knee between the shoulderblades as she wrenches back with both arms. The referee checks for a submission, but it’s not forthcoming as Evan begins to battle back to his feet. As he does so, Molly still has his arms wrenched back, until Evan begins to turn around. As he’s facing his opponent, Evan catches her with a boot to the gut. And a forearm shot to the face before he runs back against the ropes for momentum, only for Molly to side step and throw the charging Evan Envi over the top rope!

Stephy Auger: What agility by The Chief there; he landed on the apron, and Molly Reid has no idea!

The Pride champion takes her eye off the ball for a couple of seconds as Evan pulls himself back to his feet on the apron. Molly sees this happening and runs in, only to get caught by a shoulder thrust to the midsection. A guillotine brings Reid throat first down across the top rope. She falls to the mat as Evan picks himself up again, entering the ring with a slingshot elbow drop!

Stephy Auger: There’s that athleticism on display for all to see!

Evan takes a moment to work the kinks out of his back and arms before lifting Molly back to her feet, pushing her into the corner before he unleashes a barrage of European uppercuts and knife edge chops. An Irish whip follows as Molly is sent from pillar to post, with The Chief in hot pursuit as he hits a running splash! The Pride champion staggers out of the corner as Evan hooks her arm, diving around the back for an arm trap spinning neckbreaker. Molly goes down clutching her head and neck again as Evan grabs her by the foot, dragging her away from the corner. A few stomps keep the champion grounded as Evan hits the ropes, springboarding up with an asai moonsault into the pin attempt. He hooks a leg.

Molly kicks out!

Kris Cruise: So close, but only a two count for Evan there.

Stephy Auger: Don’t sound so relieved. The Chief has more tricks up his sleeve, Molly isn’t out of the woods yet.

The Chief shakes his head in dismay as he looks towards the referee, but the official assures him it was only a two count. Undeterred, he brings Molly back up to her feet, only to hit a snap suplex. But Evan keeps hold as he rolls the hips, moving back to his feet as he hits another snap suplex. He rolls the hips once again, bringing Molly to her feet before lifting her for a suplex - only to sit Molly atop the turnbuckle. The Pride champion suddenly finds herself in a precarious position as Evan lands a couple of forearm shots to keep her dazed, before climbing to the middle rope.

But Molly fights back! The crowd cheering as she lands one hard right, then another. A headbutt sends Evan Envi off the ropes, but he manages to land on his feet as Molly recomposes herself. She doesn’t get far, however, as Evan steps up off the ropes to hit a hurricanrana! The Pride champion flips off the top rope, flying through the air as she crashes back first in the center of the ring!

Stephy Auger: What a move! A hurricanrana off the top rope by Evan Envi, and that has to be it, Cruise.

Kris Cruise: Big time impact, and that may have taken the wind out of Molly’s sails here. But Evan will need to be quick if he’s going to make the cover.

Stephy Auger: He can do it, Cruise. This one is as good as over!

Evan crawls across to make the cover.

Molly gets the shoulder up at the last second, and Evan pounds the mat in anger. The crowd look relieved, but turn anxious again as Evan turns his frustrations towards Molly, hammering away at her with hard right hands. He drags Molly back to her feet, again moving towards the corner as he turns her upside down for a tree of woe. A boot across the throat chokes the Pride champion out, only for Evan to break it at the referee’s count of four. The Chief steps away from the corner, the frustration evident on his face as he stands in the center of the ring with his hands on his hips; the crowd restart their “lets go Molly!” chant as Evan shakes his head, before charging in with a hangtime dropkick. Molly falls out of the corner and Evan covers again.

Reid kicks out again, and Evan holds his face in his hands in disbelief. He stands back up, dragging Molly up with him before simply throwing her out through the middle ropes.

Kris Cruise: Molly Reid fighting with everything she has, and Evan is getting desperate here.

Stephy Auger: Desperate? Hardly. He’s got a game plan and he’s sticking to it.

Reid is down on the outside as Evan steps out onto the apron; he’s taking some deep, relaxing breaths to try and regain his composure as he waits for Molly to stand up on her own recognizance.

The count out starts as Molly uses the guard rail to stand up; Evan stays watching her, waiting for the right moment as he charges across the apron, leaping off with a shooting star press - NO!

Molly dives out of the way, and The Chief lands hard on the outside! His chest and face smacking off the ringside mats as Molly rests back against the guard rail.

The count restarts as Molly stumbles away from the rails towards the ring, rolling in under the bottom rope.


THREE!


FOUR!


But Evan hasn’t moved on the outside. Molly is laying in the ring, trying to catch her breath as Evan remains down.

He begins to stir, pushing himself back to all fours.

Evan reaches up to grab hold of the apron…

Kris Cruise: Not like this, nobody wants this match to end like this...

TE-And he rolls into the ring just in time to break the ten count. The crowd breathe a sigh of relief as Evan gets to all fours, then to his knees. But Molly is ready for him. She fires off some shoot kicks to the chest, drawing a large cheer from the Minnesota fans. A buzzsaw kick connects around the back of Evan’s head, dropping him to the mat as Molly regains control of the match.

Kris Cruise: And the tables have turned after that missed shooting star press; it’s the Pride champion on the offensive, and she has Evan reeling here.

Molly lifts her opponent back to his feet, pushing Evan against the ropes with a couple of elbow strikes to the face. An Irish whip ensues, as a dazed Evan Envi is sent across the ring. He rebounds off the ropes and gets hit by an inverted atomic drop. It’s enough to daze him as The Chief holds his crotch in pain, and Molly runs against the ropes, coming back with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors. Evan lands with a thud but bounces back to his feet as Molly handsprings against the ropes, coming back with a flying elbow to the face! It staggers The Chief, sending him stumbling against the ropes as he bounces off them, right into a jumping DDT from the Pride champion! Molly hooks a leg as she covers.

Evan kicks out!

Reid sits up as the referee assures her it was only two. She can’t quite believe it, but brings Evan back up to his feet again. She stands to his side, taking a moment to summon her strength before delivering a Saito suplex to Evan Envi! But Molly isn’t done. She drags her opponent back to his feet once more, delivering a gutwrench suplex to try and do more damage.

And it appears to be working. Evan is laid out in the center of the ring as Molly moves towards the corner. The crowd chanting her name again as the Pride champion steps out onto the apron, before climbing up towards the top rope. Slowly but surely, she makes it there before steadying herself, and leaping off with a frog splash!

Kris Cruise: This could be it! A huge move by Molly Reid, and she could have this one in the bag.

Stephy Auger: Turns out you can teach an old dog new tricks, Cruise, because we don’t usually see Molly Reid do moves like that. But will it be enough?

Molly hooks a leg.

Stephy Auger: Ha!

The crowd can’t quite believe it either, but Molly sits up in disbelief as Evan gets the shoulder up in the nick of time. The Pride champion must be wondering what she needs to do as she stands back up, bringing Evan to a seated position as Molly delivers several soccer kicks to the spine. Reid is almost fuming as she grabs Evan in a rear waistlock, lifting him back to a vertical base, before connecting with a German suplex! But Molly keeps her hands clasped together as she brings both her and Evan to their feet again, for a second German suplex! And the third time - NO! Evan wraps his foot around the leg to block the third German, before firing off some desperation back elbows. The fourth one connects and forces Molly back a step as Evan runs against the ropes for momentum, coming back - NO! Molly catches him with the Superman punch! It takes a couple of seconds, but Molly finally manages to make the cover.

Kris Cruise: Another near fall, and Molly can’t believe it!

Stephy Auger: She should be able to. She knows she can’t beat Evan. She’s been lucky to win without him in her corner. Beating Fujiko was one thing, but The Chief is a whole other level, and Molly can’t step her game up that much, Cruise.

Molly just lays there next to her opponent for a second, wondering how he kicked out of that one. But her bemusement doesn’t last long. She forces herself to stand back up; Molly moves towards the ropes, crouching down by them as she waits for Evan to stand back up. He’s facing away from her, moving slowly as he gets up to his knees…

Kris Cruise: She wants to finish this one now...

Stephy Auger: Get up, Evan!

Evan stands back up and turns around as Molly moves in for the kill, lashing out with the Molly Kick!

NO!

Evan avoids the superkick, dives around the back of his opponent and counters with The Backpack Attack!

Kris Cruise: What a counter!

Stephy Auger: And just like that, the Chief is back in control! Wait, what’s he doing here?

Molly gets taken down by the single knee lungblower, and Evan flips over into a straightjacket submission hold! The pain on Molly’s face is clear for all to see as Envi tightens his grip on the submission hold, wrenching back on the neck of the Pride champion. The referee is there in position, checking to see if Molly gives in … but the champion is fighting this.

Evan tries to wrench back again, the referee checking for the submission once more … until he spots Molly’s foot on the ropes. The referee calls for the break, which he finally gets at the count of four. The crowd rallying behind Reid again as Evan forces himself up to a kneeling position. He looks to be in pain, holding his torso as he moves towards the ropes, using them to get back to his feet. As he does so, however, Molly is already up and on her feet.

Envi looks at her in disbelief as Molly staggers back a step. Evan moves first, charging at his opponent with a clothesline. But Molly ducks under the arm and hits the ropes, coming back - right into the Kapowski Kick!

Kris Cruise: That almost took her head off!

Stephy Auger: Bye bye, Molly Reid! That’s all she wrote, Cruise. This one is over.

Molly hits the mat as Evan falls down as well, the exhaustion beginning to show in a major way. He crawls across towards his opponent, looking to drape an arm across the chest … when Molly catches him with a throat punch! The crowd cheer loudly as Evan recoils away gasping for air! The Pride champion moves towards the ropes, using them to pick herself up as Evan does the same in the center of the ring.

Reid runs at her opponent with another Superman punch, but Evan avoids it this time. When Reid turns around, Evan nails her with a punch right to the throat. As Reid doubles over, Envi quickly hooks her arms before driving her down with The Blue. He turns Reid over and makes the cover.

J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match … EVAN ENVI!

Kris Cruise: He did it! Evan has beaten the Pride champion!

Stephy Auger: I told he could, Cruise. Evan Envi has finally done what I knew he could all along, and beaten Molly Reid.

The referee helps Evan get back to his feet, and the crowd don’t like that one bit. They’re booing loudly as Evan gets his hand raised. But the jeers louden as Evan calls across to the timekeeper to hand over the Pride belt.

Kris Cruise: This is just unnecessary…

Evan poses with the Pride title held above his head, before he kisses the plate and drops the belt across Molly’s chest. He finally leaves the ring, his head held high as the crowd continue to boo.

“What a shame.”

Those words come from the dark tones of the longest reigning Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion, Izzy Anders. She strolls backstage, carrying a microphone in her hand. Spencer Burke’s nowhere to be seen, but there’s a sinister smirk upon her face. As she comes into camera’s view, she looks hazily upon the camera. She continues to swirl the microphone in her hand with expert dexterity before she comes to a stop. She seems to have evened out her weight, now standing with muscle definition. Her smirk fades for favor of a cynical, bored frown.

Izzy Anders: During my break away from this gross place, I have missed quite a lot. Annie Zellor has gotten arrested, yay. Nero Darling struggled on her return back. Oh yeah, the biggest mishap of them all: somehow, someway, Fujiko Mine let Molly Reid get a hold of her Pride Championship. Now we’re set for a long while of fuckery under the banner of PRIDE CHAMPION, MOLLY REID.

Izzy gags at the thought.

Izzy Anders: I guess I can be thanked for that. I gave her the kick in the ass that she needed. It is a part of my magnificent plan to start to unroot the foundation of his company, but that’s okay. Molly Reid deserves some happiness in her pathetic life. She is my best friend, after all. She just doesn’t know it yet.

She snickers.

Izzy Anders: I wasn’t much of a sleepover person, but I think I get the gist. It’s like I let her borrow some of my clothes and she let me take her Pride Championship. Something like that, yeah?

She rolls her eyes, not understanding the concept of “girl code”. She shrugs away the confliction.

Izzy Anders: I’ll let Evan Envi play around with Molly for a moment. I’ll get back into winning form. Then I will come over and do what I planned to do since coming back here. Win the Pride Championship. I had my exercise and fun in ECWF, but I got to pull my vision back to the place that “made me”.

She seethes, before leaning on the wall.

Izzy Anders: When one doesn’t like the situation around them, one must strive to change it. Since I’m the only one that sees FGA in the state of affairs it is now, I’m the only one that can change it. There’s names and faces that need to be forced into the new regime. And I have been sitting here, taking notes. During those dark days alone, where no one cared, I began to formulate this plan. A plan to help this place. Even if they don’t want to help themselves.

Izzy narrows her eyes, lolling her head onto the wall. She laughs to herself.

Izzy Anders: If I wish to clean this place, I have to understand where the dirt came from. I have understand what built this company up. I must understand what made this company so hollow. I have learned what it was. I need to take my time, finding the people who need this evolution, this change. Because FGA is a cesspool, it always has been since I’ve been here. If one truly loves something, you don’t let it go. You fight to make it work.

There is a twinge of sadness in her face as she speaks. A lost love, if one would.

Izzy Anders: Weeks upon weeks, months upon months, it doesn’t matter how long it takes me do what I want.

She raises her hand to the camera.

Izzy Anders: I have seen people change for the worse. Fakers, all of them. Maybe in the end, I can teach them that it is okay to be yourself. Change for someone and you’re weak.

She clenches her fist.

Izzy Anders: And if you’re weak, then you need to evolve. Or you better die.

When she lowers her fist, she snickers. She stares at the television screen nearby, seeing the end of Reid vs. Envi. She tilts her head in intrigue.

Izzy Anders: Like I said, FGA has a death sentence. I look to execute on it. Every single person. One. At. A. Time.

She turns her head to the cameraman.

Izzy Anders: Let me ask you a question.

She stands off the wall, turning to the operator with a grim look on her face.

Izzy Anders: Do you see me?

Izzy’s eyes then move slightly to the side.

Izzy Anders: Someone does...ironically, it had to be you.

A scuffle of a shoe, a fancy, glittering bedazzled shoe and a curious enough expression on a very familiar face, the recently returned to active competition Noelle Smith. Her fingers move and run to smooth the jersey soft material of the simply cut dress she’s wearing before she speaks, her tone a lot firmer than her expression would indicate it would be.

Noelle Smith: Is it though? So ironic that is? It’s all there if you’re looking.

A very slight pause, for a split-second there’s almost something soft in her eyes before she blinks and clears that away.

Noelle Smith: Do you know I thought about you quite a bit while I was off trying my best just to get back here? Not like it sounds maybe. But honestly, I wanted another bite at your particular apple. I don’t care… I don’t care really, what anyone else says but you? That was the match that made me realise I couldn’t just stay the same. I thought maybe I should tell you that, before anything else gets in the way.

Izzy giggles loudly, covering her mouth with a girlish mannerism. When her noises settle down, Izzy’s scornful, bright eyes land upon Noelle.

Izzy Anders: What anyone says but me? That’s quite the role that I have gained. Despite the fact that you have supposedly gone to bigger and better things than I have? Or attempted to, anyways.

Izzy leans her head to the side, a dull vocalization escaping her.

Izzy Anders: But I can see your train of thought. A young rookie came and took away your dream, temporarily, at least. Took away the championship you fought through hell and high water to have. Went on to define the championship. But a bite of my apple? That almost sounds raunchy.

She chuckles. Yet her tone is darker than the earlier sound of joy. There is something sinister behind this chuckle, almost condescending. Izzy straightens up, her new weight creating an imposing figure in frame.

Izzy Anders: Do you wish to follow my doctrine? Or are you here to challenge it? Because we both have our eyes cast towards the same goal, the same glimmering light.

There is a pause.

Izzy Anders: The same bitch that holds it high in the air.

A hit of pink touches Noelle’s cheekbones, a slight huff of breath past her full lips as her hands stilled, settling on her hips as she cocked the right one out at an angle.

Noelle Smith: I meant, that you made a better impact than you might have thought. I meant, that match… it wasn’t like the rest. I can’t compare it to any other and I can’t explain why. Not a win or a loss other than that, made me think… I want to go again. That’s the one.

She pauses, her eyelids going half-closed as she gazes steadily at Izzy despite the sweep of her lashes.

Noelle Smith: You won that title fair and square. Sara Cochran though? She’s the one that almost took everything. She almost… and I can’t get at her. Can you maybe, for a second, understand that? It’s underpinning everything and I don’t want it to. I don’t want her having that power on me, Izzy. I don’t want to keep thinking that smug…

She bites off her words, shakes her head.

Noelle Smith: We do have the same goal though. That siren song of gold, that proof, solid in our hands that we’re the best, right then and there. You’ve seen me do it, and I’ve experienced you taking it from me. Your doctrine though? I’m trying my hardest to test it, because if you think about it? There’s some sense there.

Izzy perks up at Noelle’s admitting. She lets a smile break through her tortured visage. Her one eye that is visible widening with elation.

Izzy Anders: That is how it starts. You start to make sense of a simple statement, and then you start to formulate a full blown understanding. In this world, it is the only thing we have. We only have the evolution of ourselves. If not, we are stuck in a constant loop of miserable failure. If one does not evolve, then they are wasted space, fodder for the truly strong to devour.

She smiles, radiating a crazed sense of joy in her preaching.

Izzy Anders: It is not fun to be dog food, Noelle. You see that. You know that. I could have been food for that girl, Sara. However, I beat her. I have beaten everyone that I did not want to be a simple feeding to. Instead of being the food, the victim...you must become the predator, the culprit.

She shakes her head for a moment, catching her composure.

Izzy Anders: That is why FGA must die…

She softly speaks, trailing off in a blissful imagining of her end goal. She coughs.

Izzy Anders: But we face the next gate, to evolve even further. Is this, you standing across from me, a cry for help or a declaration of intention? Because Noelle, if you stand in my way of getting the Pride Championship, the cornerstone of this company’s ghastly image...then you know what must be done.

Noelle starts to speak again, but for an instant bites her lower lip, considering something. She shifts her feet, relaxing her harder stance and she drops her hands to her sides. It takes her a few more moments before she releases her lip and lets her words free.

Noelle Smith: Part of me thinks it’s both, Izzy. I’m working so hard, to improve myself. Every day, trying new methods and training new places. I put my pride down hard, and I’ve taken the hands that extended themselves to try and help me be better. I don’t want to fail those people that showed that faith in me, I can’t let the Evans of this world win by giving up.

A deep breath that she lets out slowly, and her arms come up to wrap her waist in a slight hugging motion.

Noelle Smith: I know what has to be done. It’s written right out if we know where to look. It’s why I said, if I had won that match to face Fujiko that I didn’t care how it had to happen, I wanted to face you first. Nobody can deny you’ve earned it. At least… that’s how I felt, that’s why I had to say it. But there is this. What if I do? If you, if I … and you win? Doesn’t that prove beyond shadow of a doubt, that you’re right? That you’re right about everything?

Izzy puts a hand on Noelle’s shoulder, staring her intently in the eye. There is a moment between them, a breakage in Izzy’s horrific personality and views.

Izzy Anders: That is up to you to decide. I just know that you, Noelle, you need to forget that you are someone’s twin or triplet. You need to remember that you are Noelle Smith. Because when everything dies out in the world, who is the last one left? You are. You were born in this world truly alone, you made that effort on your own.

She then clenches her hand on Noelle’s shoulder.

Izzy Anders: I made my own strides to be where I am now. I did not need help. I did not want help. I became who I am on my own merit. That is what you need to do to survive. Now, I will beat you when we face each other again. I will beat you until you wish you were dead. But I will do it to make you into something new. Something worthwhile. Someone capable to take the Pride Championship from me.

Despite her words, a smile flashes on Izzy’s face.

Izzy Anders: I hated having the belt for that long. Don’t make me get bored again. If you need some advice after all, go ask Ruby. She managed to get the job done once.

Izzy pats Noelle on the shoulder before walking past her. She stops midway, however.

Izzy Anders: Just remember, though. This might be your last time to do it. FGA is on borrowed time after all.

She continues her way down the hallway. Noelle stares after her, a nod of her head shows that she hears Izzy’s words and for an instant she starts to turn away but even as her foot lifts she stops and calls out after Izzy.

Noelle Smith: If this is my last time to try? I’m going to give it everything I’ve got. I swear.

She isn’t sure if Izzy hears her, but she turns and heads the opposite direction, barely paying attention to her path as she clearly puts herself deep in thought over what’s been said to her.

The funky drum beat and riff of 'Phenomena' by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs fills the arena and the quirky yet energetic Salem Cartier appears at the entrance wearing a hooded dark purple leather tailcoat with huge silver buttons, the hood pulled over her eyes. She carries a silver cane, the top a silver claw gripping a dark purple crystal that has a plasma globe effect. She's tapping her foot and bopping her head to the beat...

She raises both hands and motions for the fans to get hyped, swinging the cane, then bops her way toward the ring in time with the song, popping her shoulders up and down, swaying her arms around with a coy smile and wink to the audience.

"Hey! Don't touch, kid; sleep with the lights on
Touch, kid; how you surprise me
Now roll kid, rock your body off!"

She steps up the ring steps, throws her hood back, clutches the top rope and puts her feet on the bottom rope, gazing around and rocking up and down on the ropes...

"You're something like a phenomena
Something like an astronoma'
Now roll kid, rock your body off!"

She slides through the ropes, twirls off her jacket with a flourish and drops to a knee in the center of the ring, extending her arms out holding up the cane and playing to the crowd as the music fades. She takes the jacket and cane to the corner, ready for the match.

Kris Cruise: It was a little over a month ago at First Wave when Salem Cartier challenged Annie Zellor for the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship. During the match, Annie Zellor took her championship belt and nailed Salem right in the face with it!

Stephy Auger: Which is as close as Salem is ever going to get to that belt. I mean come on, Cruise. These two have been wrestling for roughly the same period of time. Yet Annie has double or triple the amount of championships she has? Say what you want about Annie’s attitude change. Okay. But when it comes to getting it done inside the squared circle in title matches, Annie does it! Salem? Eh, not so much.

"Jager Yoga" by CSS begins to play throughout the arena as Annie Zellor steps out from behind the curtain; the fans in attendance begin to boo as Zellor keeps her head down, bouncing from one foot to the other in time with the music. She raises her head, looking out across the crowd as she stands there with her feet apart, hands on her hips, before finally heading down the aisle.

Some fans still reach out for the high five, and for those fans Annie obliges. But she tries to drown out the rest of them as they continue to jeer her from a distance. Zellor climbs up the ring steps and stops on the apron, taking another moment to look out across the crowd before she steps into the ring. There, Annie heads to her corner and rests back against the turnbuckles as she waits for this one to get started.

Kris Cruise: The Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion isn’t exactly coming out to the throngs of cheers that she’s used to. But even she admits that if she were them, she’d boo herself, too.

Stephy Auger: Well that’s cute. Annie Zellor shouldn’t care about what any of the these mutants think! She should concern herself with one thing and one thing only, Cruise. That’s establishing her legacy as one of the best Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champions.

Kris Cruise: Well before she starts thinking about Izzy Anders’ record or some would-be matchup with Dom Harter, she needs to be 100% focused on the woman that’s standing across the ring from her. Salem Cartier has been in the ring with and has hung with the likes of Jimmy Page and Zero McHannon. Heck, if it wasn't for an illegal belt shot, she would have been the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion several months ago!

DING! DING!! DING!!!

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the FGA MID-ATLANTIC LEGACY CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, now residing out on Toronto, Ontario, Canada! Weighing in at 130 pounds! She is “SOMETHING LIKE A PHENOMENA” … SALEM CARTIER!

The crowd breaks out into cheers upon hearing the announcement of Salem’s name.

J.A. Aldridge: And her opponent, from Staten Island, New York! Weighing in at 120 pounds! She is the reigning… defending… Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion! Ladies and gentlemen, she is “BAD BAD ANNIE Z” … ANNIE ZELLOR!

The crowd immediately boos the one time fan favorite.

Stephy Auger: Forgot them, Annie. You don’t need them.

After the ref shows off the belt to all sides of the crowd, he hands it off to one of the attendants on the outside before calling for the bell.

The bell sounds as both grapplers circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Cartier moves Zellor across the ring and towards the corner. But at the last second, Zellor switches positions with Cartier and presses her against the turnbuckles. This causes the ref to head over and give both grapplers until the count of five to break the hold.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Both grapplers make a clean break. But Zellor is quick to throw out a right hand. She goes to punch Cartier. But Cartier blocks and counters with a punch of her own, resulting in cheers from the crowd. Zellor throws out another punch. But again, Cartier blocks and counters with a forward palm strike. Cartier then takes Zellor and whips her into the ropes. When Zellor returns, Cartier throws her down with a back body drop.

Kris Cruise: Annie got a lot of air time on that one!

When Zellor gets back to her feet, Cartier runs over and knocks her down with a dropkick. Zellor gets back to her feet. But Cartier is quick to knock her back down with another dropkick. After grabbing Zellor, Cartier whips the champion into the ropes. When Zellor returns, Cartier grabs her, runs and tosses her over the top rope and to the floor. The crowd cheers as Zellor lands hard on the floor.

Stephy Auger: Annie just crashed hard on the floor and these people are cheering? What a bunch of animals!

Zellor can be seen arching her back after she crash landed on the floor. Once she finally returns to a vertical base and turns around, she has to scurry to safety once she sees Cartier charging towards the ropes. Cartier had hopes of taking it to the air. But at the last second, she slams on the brakes as Zellor scurried to safety.

Kris Cruise: Zellor wisely moves out of the way.

Stephy Auger: I’m surprised you didn’t admonish her for not standing there like an idiot and letting Salem dive on her.

Zellor walks up the steel steps before slowly returning to the ring. But Cartier isn’t about to give her any breathing room as she immediately marches across the ring and moves Zellor into the corner.

Kris Cruise: Cartier is all over Zellor.

Stephy Auger: Which she should be. She blew her last title match. If she blows this one, who knows when the next one will be. The Witch knows what’s up for grabs here.

Cartier hits Zellor with a punch to the midsection, followed by a palm strike to the face. She then delivers another punch to the midsection, followed by a palm strike to the face. After taking Zellor by the wrist and dragging her out of the corner, Cartier executes an arm wrench. She then transitions into a top wrist lock, which causes Zellor to cringe even more. The ref asks Zellor if she wants to give up. But the champion refuses to quit. So Cartier delivers another arm wrench. When Zellor doesn’t give up, Cartier executes yet another arm wrench, followed by a knife edge chop. She delivers another arm wrench, followed by a chop. Cartier then leaps up and brings her down with a headscissors takeover. The crowd cheers while she makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Quick kickout there by the champion. Not to look past Salem, but you’ve got to wonder who else is in the Mid-Atlantic Title picture. Sure, there’s Dom Harter, who seems to be hiding behind every corridor...

Stephy Auger: I’m sure the Championship Committee has got their list. There’s a lot of talent throughout this company. However, a potential Grand Slam being on the line could be too good to pass up.

Kris Cruise: Well Annie did say that she would give Dom Harter the title shot at the Five Year Anniversary Show if she retained here tonight. Whether the Championship Committee agrees with that is a totally different story.

Cartier sits up Zellor and applies an armbar. The ref asks Zellor if she wants to give up. But once again, the champ refuses to quit. After turning over onto her knees and making her way back to her feet, Zellor uses her free arm to grab moves Cartier across the ring and against the ropes. The ref gives them until the count of five to break it up.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Zellor doubles Cartier over after a hard knee to the midsection, resulting in boos from the crowd. She then pulls Cartier away from the ropes, takes her by the wrist and throws her down to the mat with a Seoi Nage.

Kris Cruise: That Judo background was on display there after that smooth throw to the mat.

Zellor quickly applies a grounded side headlock. The ref gets down and asks Cartier if she wants to give up. But Cartier refuses. She then reaches up and reverse into a headscissors. The ref checks in with Zellor and asks if she wants to give up. But she refuses. Zellor is then able to escape via kip up. After Cartier scrambles to her feet and turns around, Zellor throws her back down to the canvas. This time, with a Harai goshi. The crowd boos as Zellor is quick to apply a grounded side headlock. But Cartier is just as quick to reverse into a headscissors. So once again, Zellor looks to escape with a kip up. But Cartier keeps her legs wrapped tight around Zellor’s neck. So Zellor goes for another kip up attempt. But again it fails, which causes the crowd to cheer. Cartier applies a little more pressure to the hold, which causes Zellor to groan. The ref checks back in and asks Zellor if she wants to give up. But she refuses. After turning over onto her knees, Zellor presses down on Cartier’s thighs as she slowly slips her head out from between the legs. Once Zellor is free, she pops back to her feet and throws out a dropkick. But Cartier rolls out of the way.

After both grapplers return to their feet, it’s Cartier that throws Zellor down with a side headlock takeover. Zellor reaches up, grabs Cartier by the hair and pulls back to turn Cartier over into a pinning position.

Cartier shifts her weight back over on top of Zellor.

The ref asks Zellor if she wants to give up. But she still refuses. Zellor then reaches her arm up, grabs Cartier by the hair and pulls her head back so that she can reverse into a headscissors of her own. But Cartier is able to escape with a kip up.

Kris Cruise: What’s with the hair pulling!?

Stephy Auger: Didn’t you hear? That championship is cursed. Maybe it’s bringing out the worst in here.

Kris Cruise: ...

After Zellor scrambles to her feet, Cartier throws out another forward palm strike. But Zellor catches her by the wrist and follows up with an arm wrench. Zellor yanks the arm before delivering another arm wrench. Cartier then rolls forward, leans back, kips up and counters with a headscissors takeover. She makes the cover.

Cartier picks up Zellor and whips her into the ropes. When Zellor returns, Cartier sets up for another back body drop. But this time, Zellor hurdles over her before running into the far ropes. When Cartier stands up and turns around, the crowd boos as Zellor knocks her down with a handspring back elbow. She makes the cover.

Zellor picks up Cartier, moves her into the corner and delivers a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena. Zellor then takes Cartier and whips her into the opposite corner. The champion then runs across the ring, connects with a discus clothesline and then goes to follow up with a bulldog from out of the corner. But Cartier shoves Zellor off of her and into the ropes. When Zellor returns, the crowd boos as she delivers a wheelbarrow bulldog. Zellor turns Cartier over and makes the cover.

Zellor picks up Cartier, moves her into the corner and unleashes a series of shoot kicks that send the challenger slumping down in the corner. After stepping back towards the center of the ring, Zellor runs towards the corner, hurls herself at Cartier and connects with the Sparklebutt. The crowd boos while she drags Cartier from out of the corner before making the cover.

Zellor picks up Cartier, grabs her by the back of the head with both hands and delivers a sitout jawbreaker. While Cartier is dazed, Zellor returns to her feet before running into the ropes. When Zellor returns, the crowd cheers when Cartier knocks her down with a lariat takedown. She makes the cover.

Cartier picks up Zellor and goes for an irish whip. But Zellor reverses, sending Cartier into the corner. Zellor then runs into the corner. But she gets caught with a back elbow strike from Cartier. While Zellor stumbles back, Cartier follows up with a springboard back elbow. She makes the cover.

She then runs across the ring, hops onto Cartier and executes a monkey flip from out of the corner.

But Cartier lands on her feet!

Stephy Auger: what!?

Cartier quickly runs into the far ropes. When Zellor returns to her feet and faces Cartier, Cartier hops up onto Zellor’s thighs before driving her down with a monkeyflip DDT. She makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: I’m still wondering how Salem landed on her feet after taking a monkey flip out of the corner! I’ll chalk it up to witchcraft.

Cartier picks up Zellor, hooks both arms and hurls her across the ring with a double underhook suplex. After bouncing off the mat, Zellor slowly pulls herself up using the ropes. When Zellor turns around, Cartier sends her over the top rope and to the floor with a Cactus Clothesline.

Kris Cruise: What a clothesline by Salem!

Stephy Auger: She put a little something extra on that one. They both went down hard!

Cartier rolls back into the ring and begins waving her arms up and down to hype up the crowd. As Zellor slowly gets back to her feet, Cartier takes off into the far ropes. When Zellor turns around, the crowd explodes with cheers as Cartier leaps over the top rope and knocks her down with a tope con hilo.

Kris Cruise: Cartier takes out Zellor! The high-risk pays off!

Cartier picks up Zellor and rolls her back into the ring. She then rolls back in and makes the cover.

Cartier then runs across the ring and goes for a corner cartwheel leaping hip attack. But Zellor moves out of the way, causing Cartier to crash into the turnbuckles. The crowd boos as Zellor quickly hops onto Cartier before sending her flying out of the corner with a monkey flip. Zellor heads over and makes the cover.

After Cartier bounces off her head, Zellor makes the cover.

Zellor sits up Cartier and places her in a rear chinlock. The ref asks Cartier if she wants to give up. But The Witch refuses to quit. She slowly turns over onto her knees before getting back to her feet. After delivering four elbows to the midsection, Cartier runs into the ropes. When she returns, Zellor doubles her over with a knee to the midsection before quickly applying an octopus hold.

Kris Cruise: The Glitter Stretch! Zellor’s got it locked in!

The ref asks Cartier if she wants to give up. But Cartier refuses.

Stephy Auger: This is the same move that she tapped out Molly Reid with back at All-Star Showdown V! It looks like Cartier’s about to be added to the list, Cruise!

The ref continues to check in with Cartier and asks if she wants to give up. But once again, Cartier refuses to quit.

Stephy Auger: Cartier’s not going anywhere, Cruise!

Kris Cruise: Cartier’s still got some fight in her! She’s got this jam-packed arena cheering her on right now!

Cartier is trying to block out the pain. She continues to fight out. But after hearing Cartier refuses to give up when prompted by the ref, Zellor applies even more pressure.

Stephy Auger: She’s really got it locked in!

The ref asks Cartier again if she wants to give up. Despite the agonizing pain, she refuses to throw in the towel. She then begins to slowly make her way towards the ropes, step by the step. Zellor can be seen shaking her head with disbelief.

Stephy Auger: No… she can’t be!

Kris Cruise: But she is, Stephy!

Cartier reaches out… and grabs the middle rope to an explosion of cheers from the crowd.

Stephy Auger: I don’t believe it!

The ref gives Zellor until the count of five to break the hold.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Zellor reluctantly breaks the hold. After delivering clubbing strikes across the back of the neck, she flings Cartier down with another Harai goshi. She then steps out onto the apron and heads over towards the corner. Once Cartier gets back to her feet, Zellor brings her down from behind with a springboard bulldog. Zellor returns to her feet, steps out onto the apron and waves up Cartier. When Cartier returns to a vertical base, Zellor knocks her down with a springboard dropkick. Zellor steps back out onto the apron and waits impatiently for Cartier to get up. Once Cartier returns to her feet and turns around, Zellor hits a springboard cross body block.

But Carter rolls through it!

Cartier picks up Zellor and goes for an irish whip. But Zellor reverses, sending Cartier into the ropes. When Cartier returns, she knocks Zellor down with a leaping calf kick. Zellor gets back up, but Cartier knocks her back down with another leaping calf kick. After Zellor gets back up, Cartier connects with a leg-feed enzuigiri. After Zellor drops to her knees, Cartier heads into the ropes. When she returns, she brings Zellor down with a somersault cutter. After standing Zellor back up onto her knees, Cartier blasts her with a buzzsaw kick.

Cartier calls for The New Hampshire Handshake.

Kris Cruise: We could be on the verge of having a new champion!

Cartier picks up Zellor and whips her into the ropes. When Zellor returns, Cartier throws out The New Hampshire Handshake. But Zellor ducks. Once Cartier lands on her feet, Zellor quickly rolls her up from behind with an O’Connor Roll.

The crowd boos as Zellor climbs up towards the top turnbuckle. She then raises her arms in the air before flipping off and going for the Ode to TJ. But Cartier gets her knees up.

Stephy Auger: Oh no!

The crowd cheers as Zellor crashes down back-first across Cartier’s knees. After Zellor gets up and turns around, Cartier doubles her over with a boot to the midsection. Cartier hooks both of Zellor’s arms, spins and slams her down with the Hijack Kevorkian. She then turns Zellor over and makes the cover.

After Cartier gets back to her feet, the ref hands her the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship. Cartier clutches the champion close to her chest as she falls to her knees. She then raises the championship over her head while the crowd continues to cheer.

Kris Cruise: Salem’s done! She’s finally done it! Salem Cartier has won the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship! Salem Cartier was screwed out of the championship back at Canadian Stampede! Cartier makes her way up the aisle and slaps hands with the fans along the way before turning back towards the entrance and raising the championship over her head.

As the cameras cut from the inner portion of the arena where the match out in the ring had just wrapped, we fade into the backstage area where the focus is on the stunning blue and white Retribution poster. Standing in front of the poster is ace FGA reporter Spencer Burke. As usual, he has his microphone in hand as he clears his throat.

Spencer Burke: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is about to hit the ring in a few minutes…..Savannah Taylor.

The camera shifts a bit as the blonde makes her way into the frame. She is dressed in a black and white hooded robe, covering up her ring attire. Black tape covers both of her wrists, with a pink ribbon drawn onto the tape adorning her left wrist. Her blue eyes are focused and her body remains stock still as she gives a small nod to Spencer.

Spencer Burke: Now Savannah, you are literally minutes away from taking part in the Shattered Dreams match against the man who has seemingly been tormenting you over the past couple of months, one Magnus Gunner. What is going through your mind right now?

Savannah Taylor: Two years. For two years, I’ve had to sit back and not-so-patiently bide my time for a chance like this. Now it’s finally happening. You see, for two long and arduous years, I’ve had to deal with people looking me over, not even bringing my name up in conversations when it came to a one on one match with the monster known as Magnus Gunner. I was always viewed by those in positions of authority as the sidekick, as the follower. Hell, I was even told by someone, and I’m not naming names, that I would never be good enough to stand across the ring from such an imposing figure. Yet, here we stand and I am minutes away from getting a match that has eluded me, a match that I never thought would happen.

Spencer Burke: The stipulation of this match is as enigmatic as the man you are about to face. Do you have any idea what kind of match you signed up for?

Savannah Taylor: All I know is that considering who came up with the stipulation, it is nothing good. But if this is a roundabout way of asking me if I regret challenging Magnus Gunner to a match, then the answer is no. He has made no mistakes about the fact that I’ve had a target on my back since July, hell even before that. I knew exactly what I was doing. I’m doing this because out of everyone around here, I’m the one who know just what kind of monster he really is. But you know something, Spencer? Sometimes you have to become a monster in order to take down a monster.

Spencer Burke:Are you at all worried about the possibility of getting hurt out there?

Savannah Taylor: At this point, it’s in the back portion of my mind. It comes with the territory. My main goal is to go out there and put a stop to something before it has a chance to start. Is there going to be blood? I’m counting on that. Look Spencer, I know the score already. These fans here in the arena and watching at home? They don’t care what happens to me out there tonight. The entire FGA roster, all the people here in the back? They don’t care what happens to me out there. Yet whatever happens out there, I am doing this for each and every one of them. I know first hand what this….this sociopath is capable of doing. That is why it is important for me to do this.

Spencer Burke: One last thought. What will happen if you don’t walk out of there victorious?

Savannah’s face turns to proverbial stone as she fixes Spencer with a serious gaze.

Savannah Taylor: Losing isn’t an option, Spencer. The situation is too dire for me to fail. If I fail, then the FGA as a whole is done for. That is why I need to go through with this sure-to-be-barbaric match. If I fail, then I will have not only failed the men and women on the roster, but the fans as well. That is why I’m willing to put my body and my soul on the line here. I don’t want the alternative.

She flips the hood over her head, the brim coming down just above her eyes, as she walks off towards the gorilla position.

“SHATTERED DREAMS MATCH”
SAVANNAH TAYLOR vs. MAGNUS GUNNER

As the camera focuses back on ringside, the last of the ring crew begins to vanish as the scene for the upcoming “Shattered Dreams Deathmatch” is set. Inside the squared circle leaning up against on the corners is a large pane of glass; outside the ring, an assortment of small containers housing fluorescent lighttubes are strewn about. The teaming masses of humanity are buzzing with anticipation, knowing the history between the two competitors coupled the violent nature of the match will be something to behold.

Kris Cruise: This next contest is not for the faint of heart. Two superstars with a well documented history stretching across different promotions with a lot of bad blood are about to throw down. One of them is Savannah Taylor, a woman on the cusp of breaking out here in FGA.

Stephy Auger: And the other is quite possibly one of the most dangerous and diabolical human beings in professional wrestling, whose infamy is recognized by anyone with a working brain.

Kris Cruise: That would be Magnus Gunner… or Chrisutm Furor, or whoever the hell that madman decides to call himself tonight. This Shattered Dreams Deathmatch is his brainchild. One can only wonder what sick, and twisted things he has planned for Savannah. Are you ready for this, Stephy?

Stephy Auger: Of course not. I’m just praying I can survive this thing. Luckily for me I had a light lunch, so I don’t anticipate throwing up.

There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As the song continues, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper.

Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see
Opinions not mine, the person they taught me to be
One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew
And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you.

On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage.

Inside me a light was turned on…

The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies.

Then I was alive!

In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body.

J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentleman, the following contest is a Shattered Dreams Deathmatch, and is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at one hundred and twenty pounds. She is Savannah! TAYLOR!

Kris Cruise: This is a personal battle for, Savannah. She’s going up against her former partner, as they were members of that “Gods and Monsters” stable that housed some of the biggest names in wrestling. One of which was Sally Talfourd, whom we saw back at First Wave.

Stephy Auger: This is FGA, Kris. Quit name dropping those outsiders. The only thing matters is right now, and I hope Taylor is walking with Jesus right now because she’s about to meet the devil.

Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do.

In the darkness, light will take you to the other side
You'll find me waiting there you'll see, if you just close your eyes

While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. She stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon.

Kris Cruise: And here we go…

The lights suddenly dim in the arena; the venue fills with a dark and ominous ambiance. Those in their seats stand in anticipation, those already at a vertical base cheer, holler, and make their presence felt as the arena fills with excitement. Now the few lights strewn about the vicinity, likely emergency exit signs and cell phones cast merely vague shadows and silhouettes -serving as the only source of illumination. Those in the first few rows who are keen to what lies ahead storm the steel guardrail along the respective aisles, as the teaming masses of humanity turn their attention to the entrance. Only then does Tool's single, Vicarious come to life as the opening chords greet the population. As the drums finally drop and the rhythmic guitars bellow throughout the depth of the arena, a spotlight shines across the crowd. A figure is suddenly seen emerging from nothingness, ascending from the cornucopia of human canvases, taking a step onto the seats as he stands over the crowd, now visible to all in the arena while his theme drops its first verse. Magnus Gunner stands still on his perch, his infamous burlap sack covering his countenance.

J.A. Aldridge: And her opponent. From Detroit, Michigan, weighing in at two hundred and fifty-five pounds! Ladies and gentleman… he is MAGNUS! GUNNER!

Eye on the TV, cause tragedy thrills me
Whatever flavor it happens to be

Like, "killed by the husband"

"Shot by his own son"
"She used a poison in his tea

Kris Cruise: I’m a fan of wrestling, so I’ve followed this man’s career. He is the reverse Midas; everything he touches dies. A walking black cloud personified. I get chills just looking at him.

Stephy Auger: He’s a psychopath, Kris. That’s all the insight one needs to provide for him. He’s been in bloodbaths, he’s destroyed a company, he’s even been buried alive. Magnus Gunner is what he claims to be; a monster.

Gunner descends from his pinnacle above the patrons, navigating across the arena floor through people and steel furniture. Suddenly, Magnus pulls himself atop a folded chair, standing and posing in his infamous crucifix. A smattering of boos follows, though those aware of his reputation pose as well, likely his die-hard followers. Once again, he descends from his throne and straddles over the barricade to the ringside area. The man famously known as Christum Furor appears bare-chested, exhibiting the array of tattoos, scars and wounds strewn about his torso. Dawning tights, his long black ring boots, and his trademark white hockey tape stretching from knuckles to forearms.

"Why, oh why?"

Magnus knees up onto the apron, replacing said knee with a foot as he comes to a stand along the ropes. He continues along the aisle-side and as he approaches the turnbuckle closest to the camera, he plants a foot onto the second turnbuckle and comes to stand tall over the sea of people. Afterward comes to pose with his martyr-esque symbolism, eyes closed and head tilted to the heavens as he absorbs the air and emotions in the arena.

'Cause I need to watch things die, from a distance
Vicariously I live while the whole world dies
You all need it too, don't lie

He drops down and slips between the middle and top ropes, the lights now making a return to normal as the eloquent madman backs into the nearest corner and slinks down into the canvas, removing the burlap sack as he rests his head against the second turnbuckle, and his mid-back against the first. He bends one leg so his knee sticks upward, the other left to lie flat in a quarter turn. As Vicarious fades out, Gunner's empty eyes brighten with malice as he waits for the match to begin.

Kris Cruise: That’s not a friendly look in his eyes, Stephy. He’s said come to take Savannah home tonight, and I don’t know what that means exactly, but he may very well do it.

Stephy Auger: One thing I’ll say is that Savannah has been looking forward to this for some time. Having been a disciple of this guy, you know she knows the ins and outs of his game, and has definitely learned a few new tricks of her own. If there’s a match she’s prepared for, it’s this one. Though, everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

Kris Cruise: Or busted over over the head with one of those lighttubes strewn about ringside. I have a feeling this is going to take a turn for the worse very quickly.

Stephy Auger: We’re about to find out, Kris.

The bell chimes several times to signal the start of the contest. The two former stablemates square off in the center of the ring in a traditional collar and elbow tie. Savannah quickly gains the initiative, as she relies on her lower center of gravity to force the Michigander backwards, pushing him up against the ring cables. The referee immediately steps in and issues a clean break - which there will no doubt be few of in such an ultraviolent environment. Nevertheless, the Las Vegas Siren seemingly obliges, but it's simply a ruse, as she suddenly opens her right palm and slaps Magnus across the chest. She lights up his chest for a second time, before grabbing him by the arm in an attempt for an Irish Whip - which he counters, as he launches Savannah across the ring. The Nevadan rebounds and avoids a Clotheslines, bounces off the next set up ropes, then lunges forward at Magnus. The leader of Gods and Monsters counters, as he scoops her up for a Powerbomb attempt, only for Taylor to show off her blinding agility, as she exploits her athleticism to flip the tables, turning her perilous predicament into a Hurricanrana as she sends her adversary somersaulting to the canvas. As Gunner begins to climb to his feet, Taylor is already on hers, as she makes a bee-line for the ropes. Upon bouncing off she charges at her former ally like a speeding bullet to heaven, before landing a running Dropkick, as she juts out her legs and drives them into the madman’s sternum, sending him falling through the ring ropes and crashing to the floor. It’s clear Taylor intends to use her speed and quickness in this match, as she knows better than anybody that getting into a closed quarter contest with a man of this caliber is a suicide mission. Proving that theory to be true, the Siren climbs onto the apron, holding onto the ring cables as she looks back over her shoulders at Gunner who begins to stir. Once he’s on his feet, Savannah takes him back down as she springboards off the second ring rope with an Asai Moonsault, landing right on top of the two hundred and fifty pounder.

Stephy Auger: That’s it. Just fly around the ring like uh… like an, like anything that goddamn flies I don’t know. Hit and run!

Kris Cruise: Savannah is coming out the blocks on fire right now. She’s showing no fear, Stephy. Her confidence will only grow if she can keep this up.

Savannah climbs back to her feet now, holding a handful of the madman’s disheveled hair as she uses it to lift him up to a vertical base. From there she drags him toward the guardrail, where she cocks Magnus’ head back before acquainting his face with the steel bar. Gunner staggers back from the point of impact, before stumbling back toward the ring. The Las Vegas Siren quickly goes on the pursuit, as she doesn’t allow the madman a moment to gather himself and regain his breath. Instead she tattoos the apron with his forehead, as she grabs his head and slams it across the hardest part of the ring with absolute malice. She does so repeatedly, shifting the Michigander’s brainpain back and forth with each attack. Finally, Taylor relents, leaving Gunner stumbling in place like a drunk before rolling him back inside the squared hell. There’s a visible look of determination on the Nevadan’s face, as she’s clearly basking in the advantage she’s secured from the outset. Any pre-match jitters she may have had have seemingly been conquered as she slowly climbs onto her apron. But as she begins to step through the ropes, that apprehension suddenly shoots up her spine and paralyzes her, as the man known as Christum Furor suddenly shoots up off the canvas, yelling a monstrous bellow as he poses in his infamous crucifix, his eyes bulging with madness. With one foot in the ring, and one foot on the apron, Savannah simply sits on the middle rope, her eyes widening as well, but the look in her pupils is much different; the windows to her soul reveal shock, and visible dread.

Kris Cruise: This man… this… just what in the hell is he? He’s got Savannah Taylor frozen solid. She’s as stiff as a mannequin.

Stephy Auger: I just got goosebumps, Kris. Hold me.

With Taylor momentarily stuck, Magnus suddenly charges forward, slamming a forearm right into her visage, the force behind the blow being stiff and violent enough to knock her through the ropes and down to the apron with ease. The two time EXODUS World Champion quickly leans over the ropes, snatching a handful of Savannah’s luscious blond hair as he uses it to drag her to her feet before lifting her over the ropes, and tossing her to the canvas like a ragdoll. Gunner looks out into the crowd, staring at the patrons in attendance through cold blue eyes as Savannah slowly crawls into the corner. Bad idea. Once the Michigander takes notice of her position, he charges forward like a locomotive off the rails, before splashing into her with a cannonball, sandwiching her between his massive frame and the turnbuckle padding. You can hear her bones crumbling due to the pressure as Gunner rolls back up to a knee. Once he regains a vertical base he slowly drags Taylor back onto her two’s, pushing her back into the corner and she remains standing simply because he’s allowing her to do so. With a vindictive look in his eyes, Gunner grabs her by the arm - both upper and lower, and whips her HARD into the diagonal corner. The Vegas native imagines the turnbuckle, the force behind the throw causes her to ricochet out of the corner like a pinball hitting a bumper. Unfortunately she walks right into the proverbial buzzsaw, for only when she peeks her head up does she experience the sight of the Detroiter’s outstretched arm come crashing across her collarbone and larynx, instantly sweeping her weight of her own feet as she’s turned inside out with a vicious Clothesline.

Stephy Auger: Did you hear that, Kris. He just turned her inside -freaking - out right there! I’m shocked her heads still attached.

Savannah lays spread-eagle on the canvas as Gunner comes jogging to a stop upon sending her vaulting to the mat; he rests lightly over the top rope in front of him, surveying the audience who look on intently. Gingerly coming to, Savannah, completely bewildered to her surroundings, attempts to pick herself up, only for Magnus to calmly and coldly snatch her by the back of her blond hair follicles and lead her to the ropes - where he tosses her out of the ring to the floor below with a thud. The self-proclaimed reaper takes his time exiting the ring, as he stalks Savannah who crawls across ringside, appearing to be punch-drunk from the previous series of attacks. Gunner helps Taylor to her feet and leaders her over to the guardrail, where a plethora of hands reach over to touch both combatants. The alter-ego of Christum Furor plants a well placed knee into her solar plexus, causing her to double over in winded pain. From there the Michigander pulls her off the rail, before lifting her upright with a violent European Uppercut. Taylor’s head does a wicked whiplash, as it seesaws back and forth while the force behind the strike sends her staggering back to the timekeeper’s table where she falls down onto a char - effectively having a seat. However, just because she found a seat doesn’t mean she’ll get to rest, as Gunner is already back on the attack, grabbing her by the head with one arm while the other lays into her with rapid fire forearm shots, as he does his best impression of a broken record. However, the tune is not music to Savannah’s ears, as the Nevadan fades away with each and every shot. After about five or six Gunner let’s up, leaving his victim slumped down on her throne as he backs up a few paces to plot his next move. As his eyes squint with murderous intent, Magnus dashes forward, quickly lifting his leg level to Taylor’s head. His boot washes the Siren’s face, sending a heap of sweat flying off her mug as her head snaps awkwardly from the concussive kick. As Savannah slumps down across the guardrail, the deliverer of the Yakuza Kick simply stares into the crowd, his leg hanging over the rail and swaying black and forth.

Kris Cruise: Magnus Gunner is systematically picking apart Savannah Taylor. It’s slow and methodical. He’s inflicting as much physical, and unspeakable pain as he possibly can, and he’s savoring every single moment of it.

Stephy Auger: Yeah, he’s not out here giving love taps. Every time he hits her it sounds like a mother-loving car crash.

With both feet under him now, Gunner grabs Savannah by the head and tosses her to the floor where she simply lies down, appearing to be in no condition to move anytime soon. While she lies lifelessly like a deer on the highway, Magnus makes his way to ringside, where he begins to dig under the ring. The dastardly villain removes a steel chair from the FGA weapon’s depot, and then another, and another, and another, as he pulls out chair after chair and tosses them into a pile on the floor. Aftward, he focuses his attention back on Savannah, as he pulls her up off the floor and rolls her back into the ring. Upon rolling back inside the ring, he drapes an arm over her chest in a pin attempt.

ONE!

TWO - KICKOUT!

The Las Vegas Siren gets a shoulder up off the canvas as Gunner climbs up onto his knees. Magnus bites his lip with excitement, as he didn’t expect to get the victory that easily, and relishes at the prospect of torturing his former disciple some more. The Nevadan slowly extends her arm and grabs the nearby ring cable, using it to pull herself away from her nemesis. As she slides across the ring, her body spasms slightly, due to a multitude of relapses of trauma suddenly surging through her nervous system. As those impulses continue, she slides under the bottom rope and onto the apron, in no hurry to make any sudden movements as she desperately attempts to recuperate. Meanwhile, Gunner finally climbs back to his feet, looking as if he’s ready to go back on the attack. Lifting her head up, Taylor notices the predator approaching, and realizes her hopes of reprieve are about to be cut short. Fighting through her immense physical anguish, she pulls herself up to a stand. Noticing this, Magnus steps through the ropes and onto the apron, only to receive a right hand in protest, as Taylor tries to mount a comeback. In retaliation, the leader of the New Age returns fire with a violent forearm to the jaw, staggering his opponent, leaving her leaning onto the ropes. Having snuffed out her comeback, Gunner marches along the apron, positioning himself behind his adversary, as he wraps his arms around her waist for a German Suplex. In desperation, Savannah wraps her arms around the ropes, knowing if she would have reacted a second later that she would have been leaving the arena on a stretcher soon after. Magnus pulls back with all his might, as he tries to force her off the ropes, but Taylor holds on for dear life, refusing to budge. He tries for a second and third time, but his attempts yield the same results, as Savannah denies him the satisfaction of suplexing her to the grave. Having put a stop to the madman’s plans, she then goes on the offensive, as she repeatedly slams her elbow into his visage, doing so again and again until Christum Furor is forced to free her from his clutches. Having created a window of opportunity for herself, Taylor seizes it, as she reaches back to apply a three-quarter facelock, while she places her foot on the middle rope. Pushing off the cable, she flips backward, the momentum pulling Gunner off the apron in one swift motion as both competitors crash down onto the sea of chairs below. The Siren rolls away holding her leg, while Gunner lies inert on the bed he made, his face cringing in pain.

Kris Cruise: That was an almost modified version of Welcome To Sin City! She just dropped that monster onto that pile of chairs. That was a hard fall for both of them, but it’s obvious who got the worse of that exchange.

Stephy Auger: Savannah’s pulling out all the stops tonight. When you’re in there with Michael Myers you can’t leave any stone unturned.

The exhaustion can be seen setting in as Savannah finally staggers to her feet, panting heavily due to the fatigue, yet she soldiers on, as victory is so important that she’s willing to put herself through hell for it. The fallen monster she just drilled with that wicked version of Sliced Bread #2 begins to stir, showing signs of humanity as his sprawled frame slides down from the pit of chairs and rolls away on the floor. The crowd is enthralled, as the match so far has lived up to it’s violent potential, despite blood having yet to be shed; however, at this rate it’s seemingly a precursor of things to come. As Magnus tries to reach his feet, Taylor gets a glimpse out of her peripheral vision, and quickly grabs one of the chairs before heaving it at her target. Bullseye! She hits the Michigander right in face, knocking him back a foot, though he remains on his feet. That only beckons her to rinse and repeat, as she tosses another chair at him. This time the headshot brings the madman down to a knee, leaving him susceptible to a Shining Wizard as the Siren charges forward and blasts him in the chin with her knee. Having charged back into this match, Savannah grabbles her victim by the head, struggling to pull his deadweight off the floor toward the ring. And deadweight is exactly what Gunner has been reduced to, upon having his face rearranged. With every ounce of strength she can muster, the Siren rolls him into the ring. Taylor then grabs one of the chairs she just threw, sliding it into the squared hell before re-entering the ring herself.

As Savannah approaches him, Magnus demonstrates his wherewithal, as he glances at the chair beside him, and instinctively grabs it before lifting up onto his knees to drive it into Taylor’s solarplexus. As Savannah falls back onto the ropes, Gunner climbs back to a stand, as he unfolds the chair and and places it in the center of the ring. With bad intentions running through his mind, Magnus approaches his rival, but the Siren shows she’s still got plenty of fight in her as she turns the tide, quickly kicking him hard in the kneecap to stop him in his tracks. The Michigander yelps out in pain as his leg buckles from the impact, forcing him to stumble and double over. That allows Taylor to take advantage, as she charges forward, quickly grappling Gunner by the head before leaping forward, driving the madman face first onto the seat of the chair.

Kris Cruise: Bulldog onto the chair! Gunner’s in dire straights now!

Gunner slides off the chair, falling onto his back to assume the position of a starfish as he flakes out in a daze in the heart of the ring. Savannah scales atop her hated rival and hooks her hand around the base of the monster’s femur, proceeding to hook his leg for the pinfall.

ONE!

TWO - NO KICKOUT!

Gunner’s once dormant shell is suddenly woken by the interjection of his writhing, breaking the count much to Taylor’s chagrin. Gritting her teeth, the Siren slowly reaches up to grab hold of the chair, using it to pull herself up to her feet, before she takes the aforementioned weapon, folds it up, holds it in her right hand, and hoists it aloft dominantly. The crowd pops at the sight, normally firmly against the wielder of the chair, but in this environment the prospect of violence is enough to tickle their fancy, regardless of who is dishing out the punishment. Upon turning back around to her adversary, Savannah discovers that Gunner has somehow made it to a stand, albeit gingerly, as he leans on the ring cables. The madman appears to be anything but the killing machine he’s become infamous as - as one arm lies slung over the top rope, while the opposite hangs at his side, while he stands somewhat hunched over in obvious pain. However, in presence of being knocked senseless by another chair, Gunner peels himself off the ropes to a stand-off with his former pupil. He inches forward, taking a cautious half-step. He raises both hands as he careens from side to side, staring at Taylor who glares back at him while she holds the chair in her hand. Not completely weaponless, Gunner relies on his fists, as he throws a haymaker that only gets air, as he stand at least three to four feet away from his target. The Siren grips the chair with both hands now as she cocks it overhead, ready to unload on her prey. Trying to catch her by surprise, Magnus charges forward in a lunge, only to catch the chair with his shoulder, as he stops his momentum just in time to wrinkle up in anticipation of the strike. Luckily for Gunner, his quick thinking saves him from sudden destruction. However, the close call only buys him a tentative celebration, as Savannah reels back the chair once more -

*CRACK*

The chair slams against the side of the behemoth’s knee, reducing him to a knight’s stance as his body collapses from the withering shot. Still, Gunner refuses to go down, as he powers through the pain in a show of tremendous tenacity as he wobbles back up. Desperate to disarm his former disciple, Magnus tries to charge her again. He pays dearly for his mistake, as he throws a wild punch that catches only air, and in lieu of his back being exposed, he receives a stiff gift.

*CRACK*

A violent chair shot is delivered across the Michigander’s back, a curling scream of agony escaping his aching lungs as his eyes widen in pain. Gunner stumbles into the nearby corner and turns his back into the turnbuckle pads, looking to guard his back from further harm and register the next chair shot. Savannah stands in the middle of the ring, dropping the chair at her side as she patrols the path Magnus just took. She joins him in the corner, as she takes her weapon and stabs him in the breadbasket, sending Magnus lurching forward before he drops down to all fours. Savannah doesn’t let up, as she stalks her foe, cocking the chair over her shoulder while Gunner hisses through his teeth and winces in preparation.

*CRACK-CRACK -CRACK-CRACK-CRACK*

Magnus lies face down on the canvas from the ungodly flurry of chairshots, his facial features pressed against the mat as Savannah frantically holds the chair into the air, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

Kris Cruise: Savannah has snapped! She just went postal with that steel chair, Stephy!

Stephy Auger: Felt like I was watching a Ruby Tyler - Kevin Hardaway fan fic come to life.

Savannah is seething as she holds the chair at her side with one hand, while the other dares Gunner to get up. She watches as Magnus scoots himself back over to the ropes, and wraps his arms around the second cable as a crutch to aid his pleas. Gunner looks like he’s completely out of it as he sits up against the ropes, visibly unaware of his whereabouts -not that he’d be so inclined to know. With a crazed look in her eyes Taylor continues to beg him to stand up just so she can lay him out once again. As the Michigander slowly approaches a vertical base, the Siren approaches him, taking calm and calculated steps as she raises the chair over her shoulder once more. With animosity she swings the chair down from its apex, it slices through the electricity in the atmosphere -only to fly out of its wielder's hands to land on the floor below as Magnus somehow dodges his beheading. Gunner circumvents the attack and strafes behind Taylor who turns around due to her whiffing forcing her to change direction. Reacting off instinct, the Siren charges forward and leaps at Magnus with a Crossbody block. In spite of the fact he was just a lightning rod for chair strikes, the madman somehow catches her, before countering with a Swinging Sideslam as he thrusts her into the canvas with a vengeance. Instead of sitting down to deliver the powerslam, Gunner remains on his feet, somewhat performing a Uranage version of the maneuver, as he strides backward and falls into the ropes. As Savannah lies supine on the canvas, Christum Furor suddenly charges forward and leaps onto the air before crashing down onto her with a senton, dropping his entire two hundred and fifty pound frame onto her much daintier body.

Stephy Auger: Michael Myers just got his second wind. This sequel won’t be good for anybody.

Gunner climbs back to his feet, staring down at Taylor’s ragged form. The inner machinations of the madman’s mind begin working as he thinks of a strategy. The lightbulb suddenly shines as he catches a glimpse of the pain of glass erected in the far corner. His tongue laps his lips in salivation as he comes to a violent conclusion. With relative ease, Magnus pulls her up by the scruff of her neck, and tucks her dome between his legs in a standing headscissors. He stands there, maintaining his position in quiet anticipation, as Savannah remains still, trapped with absolutely nowhere to go. After a few moments, Gunner finally lifts her off the canvas and hoists her onto his shoulders. With a running start, the Michigander makes a mad dash for the corner, stopping just three or four feet short of his target -only to launch the Nevadan’s lifeless carcass off his shoulders. As if she’d been shot out of a cannon, the Las Vegas Siren flies into the pane of glass, breaking the structure upon impact as she crashes into the turnbuckle. Gunner drops down onto his chest, his sudden adrenaline boost vanishes just as quick as it manifested. In exhaustion he rests on the mat, sweat coagulating on his white skin, yet from his position he’s able to peer up at Savannah who sits buried in the corner in a puddle of broken glass.

Kris Cruise: Powerbomb into that pane of glass! There’s no way she can continue after that! She needs medical attention!

Forever and a day passes as Savannah remains buried in the debris of the glass pane. The crowd is still ecstatic and in awe of the recent sequence of events. The man behind their elation finally moves about, as he forgoes a pin attempt and slides out of the ring. The masochistic degenerate lifts up the ring cover before pulling out another pane of glass. He slides it into the ring before plodding over to one of the lighttube cabins, grabbing a handful before sliding back into the center of the ring. Magnus takes a moment to catch his breath as he drops the tubes, then walks over to where the pane of glass lays. The Michigander slowly grabs it and sets it upright, leaning it up against the ring ropes. As it stands vertically, the madman stares at his reflection for a moment, his mouth moving as he converses with his twisted reflection. As he enters the looking glass, Savannah finally begins to stir, as she falls onto her chest. With his sadistic fetish aroused, Magnus turns his attention back to Taylor, as he plods heavily toward the corner. Upon reaching his battered opponent, Gunner snatches her by her blond hair, pulling her up onto her hands and knees. As she allows herself to be coerced to a stand, Savannah shows off her ring awareness, as she grabs hold of one of the nearest lighttube. One on her feet, she raises the tube overhead and brings the fluorescent weapon down with a force onto Gunner’s forehead. The tube bursts on impact, as an audible crack echoes through the Roy Wilkins Auditorium. As he teeters on his toes, Savannah quickly kicks him in the gut, trapping him in a front facelock before falling back to plant him head first into the mat like a railroad spike.

As Magnus rolls onto his back, Savannah raises up onto her knees, foregoing the pin as she reaches for the lighttubes. She grabs a set of them, and places them across the Michigander’s chest, before slowly rolling out of the ring. The Siren spaghetti legs frame up to a stand on the apron, before slowly and surely willing herself up to the highest padded buckle, her back facing the crowd as she sneers down at her fallen opponent. Captivation is at a fever pitch, as all those there to witness her climb get ready to watch her descent; the Nevadan suddenly roars through the air, until she plummets from the rafters to crash down across Gunner’s body -smashing the lighttubes as she splashes onto him with all her weight, which feels like a ton from her elevated position. As dust oozes out between the two bodies, Savannah hooks his leg while the referee moves into position to count.

THR - NO KICKOUT!

Kris Cruise: He kicked out! I can’t believe it! Savannah can’t believe it! I thought for sure it was over after that Frog Splash.

Stephy Auger: These two have literally mutilated themselves of the name of vengeance. Neither one wants to call it quits though!

The former stablemates lie prone in the ring, neither one of them in any hurry to move muscle -not that they could, as the damage each of them has sustained is tremendous. The referee checks both wrestlers, and knowing neither one will throw in the towel, waits for them to get up. Savannah is the first to move, as she begins squirming in the center of the ring before finally getting up to a knee. Gunner uses the ropes to pull himself up, as streaks of crimson trickle down from his brow, caressing his chest as blood drips to the canvas, having finally been busted open following numerous headshots throughout the duration of the contest. With both enemies now standing, they stagger toward one another, with Gunner being the first to strike as he does so with a swift forearm to the face. Savannah stumbles back a step, before returning fire with a right hand. Magnus falls into the ropes, only to bounce off with a European Uppercut that rattles Taylor’s brain, sending her backpedaling into the far set of cables. Sensing he’s gained the upperhand, Magnus charges forward, only to catch an elbow to the jaw for his efforts, as Taylor counters in time to send the Michigander in retreat. As Gunner attempts to shake the cobwebs, the Las Vegas Siren suddenly charges at him, lunging forward -however, the Michigander reacts in time to sidestep, giving her a mighty tug of the shoulder as he leads her toward the ropes, before firing her like a lawn dart right into the pane of glass. The final EXODUS World Champion bursts through the glass with an audible ruckus, as she dives through the ropes and pulls herself down onto the apron.

Gunner lifts upright, his hair being flung from the quick revolving of his posture, a sigh of relief escaping him as he dodged a bullet, and perhaps ended this match in the process. With a new flame ignited in his eyes, he turns to Savannah, he plods toward her. Speaking of the Siren, a camera at ringside focuses on her, as she groggily leans up on the apron, as glass burrows into her flesh, while her face quickly begins to form a crimson mask, as her alluring facial features have been disfigured due to her head on collision with the glass pane. As he reaches the ropes, Gunner leans down to grab one of the glass shards, holding it in his hand life a knife as he reaches over the top cable and down to grab Savannah by the hair.

Just as he’s about to dig in so to speak, his eye is caught by the nearby camera, before he sneers down at his target.

Magnus Gunner: You left me for dead… now let me repay you with this...

With a baleful gaze etched on his mug, Magnus proceeds to carve her like a lantern, as he jabs the glass shard into her already scathed brow. The madman repeats this, another three or four times before a final stab grinds into Taylor’s face, Savannah full tilt in yelps of agony and anguish as the scars on her head are opened up by his heinous assault, much to Gunner’s delight as he cackles madly.

Stephy Auger: She’s bleeding like a stuck pig. He’s going full on Dexter Morgan in there!

Kris Cruise: I can’t even watch this anymore!

Gunner relinquishes the shard, yet maintains his grasp of Taylor as he drags her to a stand and leans her over to the corner. As he steps onto the middle turnbuckle, he pulls her up from the outside, each one of them ascending the corner until they meet at the very top. Gunner slowly traps her in a front facelock, and throws her arm over his shoulder, setting up for an Avalanche Butterfly Effect. However, Savannah fights it off, as she holds onto the top ring cable. Magnus goes for a second and third attempt, but each one if thwarted as the Siren refuses to give any inch. As they continue to jockey for position up top the high rent district, the Michigander suddenly screams in agony. He then releases Taylor, holding onto his ribs as Savannah is revealed to be holding a glass shard of her own, and out of desperation, had stabbed her foe repeatedly to break free from his grasp. As the small knife drops from her grasp, she takes Gunner by the head with a side headlock, before leaping off the top rope in a forward somersault and dragging Magnus down with her. Both competitors come pancaking to the canvas with a resonating thud. Amidst the pandemonium of cheers and yells from the crowd, the two superstars lie side by side, drenched in blood and sweat, with a story of agony written on their respective faces.

Kris Cruise: THE GAMBLE FROM THE TOP ROPE!

Savannah rolls over toward Gunner; she doesn’t even bother to hook a leg, as she’s too beaten, too bloodied, and too punch-drunk to do so. She simply collapses across his chest, resting on him as the referee counts.

Almost in defiance, Magnus musters enough might to roll his shoulder over, shocking Taylor as she rolls onto her back, eyes staring up at the ceiling in disbelief. Wiping the blood from her face, Taylors climbs up onto her knees, fingers running through her blond hair as she is visibly exasperated. Having come to a boiling, her hate filled eyes find the Michigander in their crosshairs, as she pushes herself to a vertical base, her arms outstretching in a crucifix pose to taunt her fallen adversary. Appearing to put this lengthy match to an end, Savannah stalks her pray, beginning for Gunner to stand. Magnus gradually begins to stir, blood smeared across his face as he looks like a man on his last legs. Albeit gingerly, Gunner makes it to his feet and turns around, right into a toe kick to the midsection which doubles him over. From there Taylor grabs his arm and scissors it, vying for the Siren’s Song. However, Magnus has it scouted, as he escapes the hold and shoves Taylor forward. In response, the Nevadan spins around for a short art Clothesline - but Gunner ducks, only to reach back and apply an inverted headlock, before turning around - BRAIN ANEURYSM! The Discus Elbow stuns Taylor, allowing the villain to reach around her waist and seize her wrist, before stepping back and twisting her around - LIGHTNING BLADE! The Discus Forearm to the temple leaves her hunched over. From there Gunner goes for the kill, as he lifts her up onto his shoulders and into the Gory Special, looking for the Hammer of Dawn.

Stephy Auger: Here it comes!

But Savannah squirms free, managing to escape Gunner’s grasp, ending up behind him. Taylor lurches a few feet into the center of the ring, as Magnus spins around in pursuit. The madman quickly charges forward, lunging at Taylor -only to have his arm captured as she steps over it, scissors it, then transitions the hold into a DDT, planting her former senpai face first into the canvas. Without a moment’s hesitation, the Siren rolls him over, hooking his inside leg for the cover.

Kris Cruise: SIREN’S SONG!

Stephy Auger: Second time’s the charm!

Stephy Auger: Taylor picks up the biggest win of her FGA career to date, exorcising a demon, as she defeats Magnus Gunner here at Retribution.

Taylor celebrates her victory as “Engel” plays in the background. Ring medical staff quickly head to the ring to check on both competitors as the camera fades backstage.

Backstage, Dan and Peaches are walking through the hallway. Dan is waving his hands around in his usual fashion as he talks. Peaches walks next to him smiling at him as he continues to get more and more excitable.

Dan Herrera: Tonight’s the night Peaches.

Peaches: I know it is Dan. You’ve been talking about this for weeks now.

Dan Herrera: Well it’s especially important after this past Wednesday, now.

Peaches looks visibly upset.

Peaches: Yeah, let’s not talk about that right now.

Dan Herrera: I’m just saying, after losing the Texas Championships this week in Twin City, I’ve got to cap this week off on a good note.

Peaches: I know. We’ll get back to the championships in 2CW soon enough. Tonight it’s all about you and Cordy though.

Dan Herrera: And more importantly, beating The Usual Suspects this time around and getting back our belts we earned weeks ago.

Dan looks down at some writing on his hand and up at a door. He then stops walking over to it and knocking on it.

Peaches: That’s right. Time for you two to get back what is rightfully yours. You worried though? I mean Rother has done a lot lately to try and get into your head, no doubt he’ll be up to his usual tricks again tonight.

Dan Herrera: If I said I wasn’t worried, I’d be lying. He’s done plenty to throw us off both our games. I mean just look at our last match against them. But I’m focused as ever, I’m ready to get in that ring and give them the loss that I know we are capable of. The one that we should have given them last time around.

Dan looks down at the watch on his hand. He then looks over at Peaches confused as he knocks on the door again.

Dan Herrera: Is agreeing to a ladder match against a team that’s already managed to beat us in a normal match risky? Sure. This is what they wanted, and that’s never a good thing. But we both know our skill levels, and this is not beyond us. Whatever they try to throw at us, we’ll work through. Tonight we defend our titles, and in the process take them back physically as we should have long ago.

Dan knocks on the door again, but Peaches puts her hands up grabbing hold of his to keep him from continuing.

Peaches: Maybe she wants some time to herself before your match. Maybe she’s focusing right now.

Dan Herrera: Maybe you’re right.

Just then a stagehand walks by and sees Dan and Peaches at the door.

Stagehand: You looking for Cordelia Stevenson?

Dan turns to the man.

Dan Herrera: I am.

Stagehand: You just missed her. She’s already headed towards the break area...

Dan nods a thanks to him as he looks at Peaches.

Dan Herrera: You see that. Cordy’s as ready as I am to get this done. That’s what I’m talking about. Both of us want to end this and get back what’s ours. So now, it’s time to do that.

Peaches smiles as the two make their way down the hallway heading to meet up with Cordelia before the match begins.

Tyler runs over and connects with a big boot that knocks Jackson off the top turnbuckle and sends him tumbling hard to the floor. Back in the ring, Hardaway takes Valero and whips him into the ropes. When Valero returns, RubyWay delivers The Crimson Peak. Tyler makes the cover.

After Herrera rolls back into the ring, Stevenson helps him back up to his feet. The ref heads over and gives them both the FGA World Tag Team and the WLW Tag Team Championship belts. Stevenson and Herrera take one of each and raise them high above their heads.

Kris Cruise: They’ve done it! They’ve done it! Status Quo are walking out with the titles!

Stephy Auger: You mean the titles that they stole. Kevin Hardaway clearly had the match won and Cordy Stevenson just stole the match from RubyWay!

Tyler and Hardaway meet in the aisle before turning to wall up the ramp. The two shake their head, knowing that they were less than a second away from walking out with all the gold. As they head through the curtain, Status Quo continue to celebrate in the ring with Peaches.

Until they get jumped from behind by The Usual Suspects.

Kris Cruise: What the hell!?

The crowd erupts with boos as Jason Marx takes Stevenson, runs and tosses her shoulder-first into the ring post. As she slowly slips through the ropes and falls to the floor, Peaches heads to the outside and checks on her. Meanwhile, Chris Tryon kicks away at Herrera in the corner. The Suspects then bring Herrera from out of the corner and whip him into the ropes. When Herrera returns, The Suspects turn him inside out with a double clothesline.

Kris Cruise: What’s the meaning of this!?

Stephy Auger: Rother said they were going to make an impact, Cruise!

The Suspects look down at the four title belts at their feet. They look at each other, then down at Herrera, then over to the belts, then back up to each other.

Kris Cruise: Oh no...

Tryon snatches up one of the WLW Tag Title belts and tosses it over to Marx. After Marx catches it, Tryon reaches down and snatches up one of the FGA Tag Title belts.

Kris Cruise: No no no no no no no no no...

The Suspects clutches the belts as Herrera tries to shake out the cobwebs. When he returns to his feet, Peaches slides into the ring and pushes Herrera out of the way, causing the Suspect two nail her with stereo belt shots to the head.

Kris Cruise: NO!

After Peaches crumbles to the canvas, the Suspects scoop up the titles, roll out of the ring and hop over the guard rail. They then make their way to a spot in the crowd where Anthony Rother is waiting. When Marx and Tryon stand by his side, Rother raises their arms in their air triumphantly while the crowd explodes with boos.

Anthony Rother: But we’re not here to talk about the status quo, we are here to talk about how the two men who stand in this ring with me have once again become your tag team champions.

More boos from the fans. Rother walks over to the ladder standing in the middle of the ring.

Anthony Rother: Jason Marx and Chris Tryon made their triumphant return to FGA just a few months ago. They returned as humble men…

Kris Cruise: What?!?!

Anthony Rother: They didn’t come in and start demanding undeserved title shots like RubyWay. They were happy to start off at the very bottom of the ladder. They repaid their dues and Jason Marx pinned Ruby Tyler in Amarillo…

Rother took two steps up the ladder.

Anthony Rother: They then defeated Status Quo in Tucson…

Rother took two more steps up the ladder.

Anthony Rother: Did they whine and cry about not getting booked at Above and Beyond? NO! Did they complain about not getting their shot? NO! They humbly stood by and waited. That’s when management finally came to their senses and they came to me, they begged, they pleaded… They came to me and said, “Mr. Rother, we are so sorry that we have neglected your men ever since they returned. Thus, we are giving them their title shot, immediately following the tag team title match, tonight.”

Kris Cruise: Oh please…

Stephy Auger: Hey, Rother’s a fine, upstanding gentleman. He wouldn’t lie, and if he says it happened, then I believe him.

Anthony Rother: So The Usual Suspects took that torch that was passed to them, and they made the most out of it by once again defeating Status Quo at Above and Beyond to become your NEW FGA and WLW World Tag Team Champions!

Rother climbed two more steps where he perched himself at the top of the ladder.

Anthony Rother: It was a hard fought match, but the Suspect scratched and crawled their way to victory. They have given you champions that you can be proud of; champions who don’t sleep with each other’s sisters; champions who provide substance over mindless fan-fiction; champions who don’t disgrace this company by consuming ungodly amounts of alcohol and make fools of themselves on national TV.

Kris Cruise: This is getting absolutely ridiculous, you can’t be buying this Auger.

Cruise looks to his left to see Stephy Auger standing and applauding Rother.

Kris Cruise: …oh my god…

Anthony Rother: So now that the Suspects have defeated the entire tag team division, now that they have chased Ricky Valero and Luke Jackson out of this company with their tails tucked between their legs, there’s nothing else for them to do but to lay out an open challenge. An open challenge to any tag team within our great sport, no matter which company you might hail from, to come to FGA and challenge the best tag team in the world today! That’s right, I said it – the BEST tag team in our sport today and they have the gold that proves it ---

Just then "Dangerous Business since 1979" by Legion of Doom begins to blare over the loudspeakers as out from behind the curtain walks the rightful FGA Tag Team Champions, Dan Herrera and Cordy Stevenson. Dan Herrera has a microphone in hand already as he and Cordy stand at the top of the ramp. He shakes his head for a second looking around as the crowd chants "There's -- The -- Champions" at Rother. Dan nods and smiles for a second listening to the crowd go.

Dan Herrera: "very day you find a way to deflect your obvious drinking problem onto me, Rother. They say the obvious sign of addiction is to pass the blame onto someone else. It's obvious to me tonight standing in the back and listening to you talk that this is the case. There's no way a sober... or even sane person... could stand out here and spout the amount of garbage that's coming from your mouth.

Dan imitates a puking motion imitating things coming out with his hands to portray just how sick Rother sounds.

Dan Herrera: You're honestly going with some story about a sanctioned fight after our defense of the Tag Team championships at Above and Beyond? Well fine then... let's pretend that was even remotely true. When was the last time anyone beat anyone for anything without either making them tap or receiving the 1... 2... 3 count on the mat?

Dan slaps his hand on the ramp as he speaks.

Dan Herrera: No, you see, this is simple theft. You can dress up a pig as much as you want trying to make it your girlfriend, Rother... the fact is it's still a pig. And this little story you're spinning is no different. By the way, tell Ms. Piggy I said hi. She's a much better person, don't know what she sees in you. Anyways... it's true that you beat us in Tucson... no matter how it happened. And that in itself is enough to be recognized. But before you ever beat us the match at Above and Beyond was set. Your team was left out, sorry about your luck.

Dan shrugs.

Dan Herrera: "But you'd of got your shot, believe that. It's a pretty well known fact that both I and Cordy in our singles careers we’re ready to fight anyone. The same thing goes as a tag team. When the time was right, you'd have your shot. Well you've obviously fast tracked that, good on you. Because the fact of the matter is, it's taking all within me not to run own there with Cordy here beat you both down and take our titles back. Whether that's with a referee or not. But we've got a better idea."

Dan hands the microphone to Cordelia who has been pacing back and forth like a rabid pit bull, and starts to head back behind the apron.

Cordelia Stevenson: No, make no mistake about it Dan, you have a better idea, and I’m glad you’re feeling a sense of diplomacy here, because I sure as hell am not; and I say we go with the original plan. I say we march down there to that ring, we whip all of their asses, and we take ...our titles… back.

The crowd roars its approval of the idea as Cordy drops the mic, starting towards the ring, but Dan quickly hurries back and wraps an arm around her waist, slowing her down and eventually halting her in her tracks. He holds up his hands, telling her to wait a minute. At first she pleads with him to let her go, to run down to the ring, but eventually Dan convinces her to chill. Satisfied that she won’t take off as soon as he steps away, he continue on back behind the apron. A few moments later, Dan returns from behind the curtain with a 10ft ladder in his hands. He then sets it down next to himself as Cordy retrieves the microphone and hands it back to him.

Dan Herrera: You want to complain about the ladder for tag team matches in this company. How people are just jumping over you guys and getting things the way they want them while you're stuck on the bottom rung trying to climb your way up? Well how bout a object lesson then? You bring those titles back up here to us, their rightful owners, and you get the championship match you crave so much. At Retribution, we have ourselves a ladder match for the FGA Tag Team Championships and once again we prove why Status Quo stands at the top of the ladder looking down at the rest of the field.

Dan leans his hand on the ladder and braces himself against it.

Dan Herrera: Now what do you have to say about that?

Anthony Rother: Ladder match? Interesting you would say that Dan.

Rother motions towards the rafters where all four tag team titles hang from a cable.

Anthony Rother: You might be a drunkard, but you always did have a mind for the sport. I can see it now, Status Quo – the challengers – versus The Usual Suspects – your FGA World Tag Team Champions… *Rother coughed* officially – unofficially *Rother coughed again* at "Retribution"...

Kris Cruise: See, he just admitted it!!!

Stephy Auger: He had a frog in his throat, Kris!

Anthony Rother: …for the ultimate prize in tag team wrestling; just as it should have been at Above and Beyond. That’s all we ever wanted, to get a shot at what’s rightfully due to us. So now that you’ve laid out the challenge, I want you to take some time and look deep within your guts. I want you to ask yourselves if you have what it takes to beat the two men in the ring with me. You said it yourself last time, Dan – it was non-title, a no pressure situation. This time, however, all of the pressure – the weight of the world – is going to be on your shoulders; not ours. Never. Two Weeks Ago
Vertigo

SSTC picks up Harter and lifts him up onto his back. He then goes for It’s Always Sunny in Sicily. But on the way down, Harter catches SSTC’s knee. The crowd cheers as he takes his free arm, places SSTC in a front facelock, lifts him up and plants him with a Fisherman Buster. He then picks SSTC, applies an inverted front facelock, lifts up SSTC and plants him with a reverse implant DDT. Harter then sits up SSTC and applies a the Dragon Sleeper.

Kris Cruise: Empty Shell!

The crowd cheers as Harter’s got SSTC trapped in the Empty Shell. SSTC can be seen using his free arm to try and pry Harter’s arm from around his neck. But it’s to no avail. Just then, The Usual Suspects slide into the ring. Chris Tryon comes up from behind and nails Harter with a roundhouse kick to the back of the neck. The ref turns and calls for the bell.

Kris Cruise: What are The Suspects doing out here?

Stephy Auger: They’re nobility now, remember?

The crowd continues to boo as The Suspects put the boots to Harter. Tyron then mounts himself on top of Harter and rains down a series of short-range punches to the face. He then grabs Harter by the neck with both hands and proceeds to choke Harter.

Stephy Auger: There’s still no love lost between these two. Tryon still remembers the hell that Harter put him through all those years ago. Let’s also remember that Harter is close friends with who? Dan Herrera! Is it starting to make sense to you now? They took Dan’s titles. They nailed Peaches with belt shots to the face. Why not beat up one of his besties for good measure?

Once SSTC returns to his feet, he begins giving out directions in the absence of Rother. Marx and Tryon then heads to the outside, lift up the ring curtain and pull out a wooden table.

Kris Cruise: This doesn’t look good, Stephy.

Stephy Auger: For Dom? Oh, it’s about to get a lot worse before it gets better.

After the Suspects slide the table into the ring, they roll back in and set the table out. SSTC continues to yell out instructions as Tryon heads out onto the apron. Once Marx lifts Harter up for a powerbomb, Tryon climbs to the top rope. After Tryon flips off, the Suspects delivers the South Texas Death Ride on Harter through the table. The crowd sits in stunned silence before slowly filling the arena back up with boos.

Kris Cruise: The Suspects just sent Harter through the table! Harter just went through that table! And he’s not moving!

Stephy Auger: Once upon a time, a guy like Harter was the hunter. Not anymore. The landscape has changed and no one is safe from the wrath of our Kings. Not even you, Cruise.

After the Suspects give each other a double high five, SSTC pats them on the shoulders before holding up a finger. The Suspects look at each other and nod.

Kris Cruise: No! No, not again!

The Suspects heads to the outside, reach underneath the ring and pull out yet another table. After sliding the table into the ring, The Suspects roll back in. Just as they’re about to set up the table, the crowd erupts with cheers as Status Quo races down to the ring with chairs in hand.

Kris Cruise: It’s Cordy Stevenson and Dan Herrera!

Stephy Auger: Gah!

As soon as Status Quo gets in the ring, SSTC and the Suspects wisely roll to the outside. Herrera makes his way over to the ropes and shouts down at the Suspects. But Marx just shakes his head at him while Tryon does the yapping hand gesture. Stevenson then looks over at SSTC and narrows her eyes at him. SSTC responds by blowing her a kiss. While Stevenson keeps her eyes locked on The Suspects, Herrera goes over and checks in Harter, who hasn’t moved at all. The camera switches back to SSTC and The Suspects. After a stagehand steps through the curtain and hands the New Kings the FGA World Tag Team Championship belts, Marx and Tron raise the belts high over their heads to boos from the crowd. SSTC then stands in between the Suspects. The three New Kings raise each other's arms in victory as the crowd erupts with boos.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a Ladder Match for the FGA World Tag Team Championship! There are no pinfalls, no submissions, no disqualification or count outs! The only way to win is by climbing the ladder and capturing the Tag Titles!

Dimebag Darrell’s building rift of “Cowboys from Hell” by Pantera abruptly begins over the PA system and the fans rise in anticipation of The Usual Suspects. The song begins its heavy thrashing as the dual guitars begin their monstrous battle for supremacy as the arena lights dim. A red spotlight shines on the black curtains and the fog begins to rise when Phil Anselmo’s screaming vocals begin…

Oh…COME ON!!!

Anthony Rother steps through the curtains dressed in one of his usual suits, holding his leather briefcase that he claims is only protecting contracts with FGA Management. Marx & Tryon step out from the entrance and stand in front of the smoked out curtains as the house lights return to brightness.

Under the lights where we stand tall
Nobody touches us at all
Showdown, shootout, spread fear within, without
We’re gonna take what’s ours to have
Spread the word throughout the land
They say the bad guys wear black
We’re tagged and can’t turn back

Both men are dawning black hooded sweatshirts that obscure their face over their singlets. The trio stare out into the crowd, take in boos, and then begin walking to the ring. Rother jaws with a few of the fans in the aisle way.

You see us comin’
And you all together run for cover
We’re taking over this town

J.A. Aldridge: Introducing first, being lead to the ring by their manager, Anthony Rother! Making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 462 pounds! They are the team of Jason Marx and Chris Tryon… THE USUAL SUSPECTS!

The two men pause at the base of the ring apron as Rother ascends into the ring and steps through the ropes. On the outside, Marx and Tryon pull out two table and stack them on top of each other.

Here we come reach for your gun
And you better listen well my friend, you see
It’s been slow down below,
Aimed at you we’re the cowboys from hell

Both men hop up onto the ring apron next and enter through the ropes as the music begins to fade. They begin removing their shirts as Rother begins a brief coaching session before the bell rings.

Kris Cruise: The Usual Suspects have been in physical possession of the Tag Team Titles for weeks now. Tonight they get their chance to win those belts the right way. But they’re facing two ticked off champions!

Stephy Auger: They can be as ticked off as they want. The Suspects have their number. They’ve had their titles for weeks and now and after this match, they'll be officially recognized as your new World Tag Team Champions!

...Spoken...

"May I remind you again, this is a dream, and in dreams, you can do anything you darn please!"

When the first bass drum thumps, Dan pulls the curtain back and walks out from behind the curtain. He gives a head nod to the fans. He then begins heading towards the ring as a spotlight stays on them.

My knuckles have turned to white

There's no turning back tonight

Kiss me one last time

As Dan makes his way to the ring, he waits at ringside for Cordy Stevenson.

The lights dim down and take on a purplish hue as a light smoky mist fills the entranceway. The opening to A$AP Ferg's "New Level" cues up.

As the beat drops, the crowd gives a loud pop as Cordelia Stevenson emerges from the mist with a bounce in her step and dancing to the music. She comes to a stop atop the walkway, glancing around and taking in the reception before giving the crowd a warm smile. She rolls her neck around before bowing her head and letting her hair fall in front of her face. A few seconds go by before she snaps her head up, whipping her hair back from in front of her face.

She continues on down the ramp, working from side to side with a big smile as she slaps the hands of fans along the way. After locking eyes with Dan, Status Quo slide into the ring.

J.A. Aldridge: They’re opponents, from...

The match begins with Cordy rushing forward and springing onto Chris Tryon.

Kris Cruise: Cordy Stevenson isn’t wasting any time here!

Cory pummels him with lefts and rights. Before Marx can get a grip on the incited Stevenson, he gets shoved into the turnbuckle by Dan Herrera. The crowd are up on their feet as the tag team champions get some well-deserved work in on the Suspects. Cordy then gets off Tyron, looking out to the crowd with a wide smile on her face. She sweeps a strand of her hair out of face, returning herself to the pristine nature she is known to be. Herrera continues to beat on Marx until Tyron drags him out the ring. They regroup on the outside, gauging the situation in the ring. Rother quickly heads over and gets in the Suspects ears.

Stevenson encourages them to return to the ring. Marx seems gungho, but he stops mid-motion to make sure that Tyron is fully ready. Tyron nods his head. Marx rushes the ring, getting assaulted by Herrera and Cordy again. He begins to pummel on them both, but he starts to get overwhelmed. Suddenly, he hits the mat. When he does, Stevenson and Herrera cannot react to Tryon flinging a ladder into the ring. It strikes them both, sending them to the mat with heavy thuds.

Stephy Auger: What aim by Chris Tryon!

Kris Cruise: It didn’t take long for a ladder to come into play, Stephy.

Tyron enters the ring. Marx points to Herrera. They both take him up. Marx hooks in a back waist lock. Tyron cracks Herrera in the chin with a superkick. With a heavy smash, Herrera is sent into the mat. Marx shoves him out the ring, grinning lightly to himself.

Kris Cruise: Superkick-Plex on Herrera and The Suspects are feeling good about themselves.

Stephy Auger: So is Rother! He couldn’t be prouder of his men right now.

Like a well-oiled machine, they surround the rising Stevenson. Marx rushes her, but Stevenson ducks underneath a clothesline. She runs off the ropes. Tyron tries to try to take her down with a back elbow. She ducks underneath it and springboards off the ropes. The corkscrew is beautiful, but she gets caught into Marx’s awaiting arms. In a clean motion, Stevenson is sent into the lingering ladder on her neck. She bounces off with a gruesome yelp, and holds onto her neck.

Kris Cruise: Did you see how hard she landed on that ladder!?

Stephy Auger: I saw it and I heard it! We all know how brittle she is, too. It wouldn’t she me if she gets carted out of here, Cruise.

Stevenson starts to roll underneath the ring onto the ground. Tyron goes for the ladder, setting it up. Marx hawks the ring, seeing Dan Herrera getting to his feet. He tells Tryon to hurry up the ladder. His partner obliges, climbing the ladder hastily.

Stephy Auger: There he goes!

Kris Cruise: Tryon’s scaling the ladder! He’s going after the titles!

Herrera hits the ring, only to be stopped by Marx. He meets him halfway with a punch to the face. Herrera stumbles on the ropes; Marx tries to follow up with a clothesline, but Herrera sends him up and over the top rope to the outside.

Kris Cruise: Look out below!

Not even wasting a second, Herrera rushes the ladder, knocking Tyron in the back. Tyron, whose fingers are on the championship, slumps over. Herrera reaches under him, bringing him down onto his shoulders. Spinning around with his enemy on his arms, Herrera drops him down with an electric chair drop!

Kris Cruise: What a move by Herrera!

Herrera gets up, checking his jaw from the earlier ladder strike. He starts to get up, but Marx reaches out and grabs onto his leg. With a sweep, Marx sends him down to the mat.

He goes in to help his student off the ground. Tyron looks a little delirious from the slam. Marx goes over to pick Herrera up. As soon as he does, Herrera springs to life, heaving him off the ground. Yet, before he can continue, Tyron cracks him with a basement dropkick to the knees. Herrera falls forward, dropping Marx alongside. Herrera starts to get his feet; Marx helps him up, but only to slam him to the mat with a Fisherman’s Suplex. Tyron goes to rush the ropes. He leaps once, but before he can hit the second jump and the incoming moonsault, Stevenson reappears, bringing her knee into his face.

Kris Cruise: Stevenson with a knee from out of nowhere!

Stephy Auger: Where did she come from!?

Tyron falls forward onto the rope, catching his neck. Stevenson starts to re-enter, but she gets yanked in by Marx. He sends her to the ground with a belly-to-belly suplex. While he gets up, he gets brought up, deadlift style, by Dan Herrera.

Kris Cruise: What’s Herrera going for here?

Dan looks out towards the crowd, before dropping Marx with a Samoan Drop right into the ladder!

Stephy Auger: Gah!

Kris Cruise: Spine on ladder is never a good combination, Stephy!

Herrera gets to his feet with a roar. He eyes the Tag Team Championships, but turns his head to Cordy. He goes to help her up. Once she’s to her feet, Herrera starts for the fallen ladder. Stevenson sees Tyron getting up, rushing at him to keep him lowered. He rolls away, forcing her to recover on the ropes. He sprints over to Dan, dropping the ladder he is holding into his face. Herrera falls backward, hitting the mat. He holds his face with a groan. Cordy comes back, hitting him the back with a dropkick.

Kris Cruise: The body’s have been flying all over the place in this one.

Cordy runs off the rope, hitting the mat for a Rolling Senton. When she goes up, Tyron pulls the ladder over him. Cordy lands flush on the ladder.

Stephy Auger: What were you saying about spine on ladder, Cruise?

Stevenson bounces off it, holding the small of her back with a shocked expression. Tryon gets to his feet, seeing her getting to her feet out of instinct. He leaps onto her shoulder and spins out, a Dragonrana in succession of the counter. He gets to his feet slowly, holding his body. He shakes off the pain, before heading before the ladder. He picks it up, looking about for his partner. Marx is nowhere in sight, but Tyron quickly affirms that he is clear to climb the ladder.

Kris Cruise: Tryon is back on the ladder! He’s making his climb to the top! Can he capture the belts this time!

Tryon starts up the ladder, a smirk on his face. As he makes it to the final rung, the crowd begins to boo loudly. He reaches up for the belts, getting his fingers on them. Yet, before they can come down, Herrera once again stuffs his attempt. A double axe handle in the back causes Tyron to lose his grip. Herrera starts to try to bring him down, but Tyron looks back over the tag team champion. With a huff, Tyron leaps backward, bringing the ladder into Herrera’s face. Herrera falls to the mat again, holding his nose. Droplets of blood follow the impact. Rother can be seen clapping loudly on the outside before slapping his hands on the apron.

Once the opposite end, Marx reappears with a ladder in tow. He moves the ladder over Dan and slams it down upon his neck. Herrera gags, which only allows Tyron to trap him underneath the ladder. The crowd jeers loudly as Tyron starts to climb his ladder again. Marx also climbs, nodding to Tyron. They both make it to their respective top rungs. Yet, they start to notice the jeers that they receive turn to cheers. Marx looks over and sees Cordy Stevenson rushing up a ladder she set up on the outside of the ring.

Kris Cruise: What is Cordy doing?

Stephy Auger: No way… no way...

Steven leaps onto the ladder that Tyron is on.

Stephy Auger: What!?

Stevenson starts to climb, properly distracting Tyron. Marx, however, continues to reach for the title belts. The crowd’s cheers intensify. Marx subtly notices as his reach for the belts move forward. He looks down to see the most fearsome thing he could.

Dan Herrera lifting the ladder up off his own neck.

Stephy Auger: No… No...

A roar of intense effort escapes The Boss. Marx’s eyes widen as he is sent from the top of the ladder forward…to the OUTSIDE OF THE RING!

Kris Cruise: MY GOD!

Stephy Auger: NO!

Marx crashes horribly outside, which causes the crowd to erupt loudly. Tyron and even Cordy look outside of the ring, fully shocked at the motion. Yet, it is only temporary as Tyron throws the first punch. Cordy leaps off the ladder, holding her face. As she stands there, recovering, Tyron reaches for the belts. His fingertips only grace the belts before Herrera grabs onto the ladder. He climbs it, grabbing onto the helpless Tyron. Tyron tries to scramble out of his grip, but he is then sent down INTO A CUTTER FROM STEVENSON!

Kris Cruise: What a move!

Laid out on the outside, Marx does not move an inch. Herrera sends Tyron out of the ring, before looking at Cordy. He nods at her and goes to help her to her feet. He heaves her up on his shoulders and moves her to one side of the ladder. She grabs onto the ladder and removes herself from her partner’s shoulders. Herrera goes to the other side, bloody nose and all.

Kris Cruise: They’re going for the belts, Stephy!

Rother immediately gets in the ring and tries to shake the ladder as best as he can. The crowd jeers as Rother has once again inserted himself into a match. But the jeers quickly turn to cheers as Peaches races down the aisle.

Kris Cruise: It’s Peaches!

Stephy Auger: I know I smelled something rotten!

After sliding into the ring, Peaches grabs Rother from behind, runs and tosses him through the ropes and to the floor.

Stephy Auger: She can’t put her hands on him! He’s just a manager! He’s not a trained wrestler like she is!

As Rother gets up on the outside, Peaches rolls to the outside and spears Rother against the guardrail. Rother lets out a yelp as he crumbles to the mat.

Kris Cruise: There you go, Peaches!

After watching Peaches dispose of Rother, Status Quo start to climb. When they both make it up there, Stevenson reaches out for one belt, while Herrera grabs the other. With a little effort, they unhook the belts, eliciting an explosion of cheers from the crowd.

J.A. Aldridge: Here are your winners… and STIIIIILLLLL the FGA World Tag Team Champions, Status Quo!

Kris Cruise: What a feeling, Stephy! They’ve been World Tag Team Champions for months. But finally, the physical titles are back in their possession!

After reclaiming possession of the titles, Status Quo embrace in a long hug while on the top of the ladder. Peaches looks on from the outside and claps at the sight.

Suddenly, the lights flicker and then go out as Marilyn Manson’s “Personal Jesus” begins to play. When the lights come back up, Peaches is laid out at ringside while Ruby Tyler and Kevin Hardaway are in the ring, standing at the bottom of the ladder shared by Status Quo.

Kris Cruise: What the hell?

Stephy Auger: It’s RUBYWAY!

With a brief nod to one another, Ruby and Hardaway rush forward and grab the ladder, toppling the champions and dumping them over the side of the ring to the double stacked table at ringside as they go crashing through it, to a chorus of boos. The two of them slide out of the ring and head over to the broken table, giving Cordy and Dan a couple of stomps to the back for good measure on their way. They then make their way back to the ring, throwing the ladder out of the way onto Cordy and Dan on the outside so there’s nothing to block the audience’s view of them.

Kris Cruise: What is the meaning of this...?

Ruby Tyler: Boo hoo all you want, ladies and gents, but the time has come for a change here in Frontier Grappling Arts. And since no one else looks like they’re gonna take a stand, it’s up to us to do it. Playing nice was all well and good for awhile, but what has it done for us? Absolutely nothing.

Kevin Hardaway: We try to make a difference around here and we’ve said it time and time again that no matter how many times we try to climb this damn mountain, what do we see but people like the people who you’re going to cheer for in the main event of this show tonight, and people like Cordy and Dan. Well guess what... we’re here to topple this mountain and burn it down to the ground. That way...nobody will attest to us at the top. As it should be.

We’ve been standing here for as long as we can recall. We’ve tried killing each other a long time ago but guess what...that’s been the past since the beginning of the year. Here we are, trying to make the best possible name for us as the best tag team on the planet, and all we get for it...is a bunch of nonsensical crap. It’s always, “Oh...you two should definitely get married!” or “Oh, you two should just fuck each other and get it over with.” THAT...nobody cares about us as a formidable force. All they, and more importantly, all of you care about...is your fucking dirtsheet TMZ news ticker.

Ruby Tyler: So now, instead of beating the shit out of each other? We’re going to wreck this place, side by side. Because we’re done playing nice. We’re done trying to salvage something good out of a place that insists on putting the same people on pedestals over and over again. We don’t care if you’re not happy about it. We don’t care if you hate us for it. Go ahead. Give us your anger, your rage, your hate. All it does is make us more determined to burn this place and all the entitled shitheads in it to the ground. Do you people really want to see the same matches over and over again? Or do you want to see that things can change?

Let this serve as a warning to Status Quo. To the Usual Suspects. To Zero McHannon. To Chandler Scott. To Annie Zellor. To Molly Reid. To Johnny Cannon. To Tony Carmine. To Salem Cartier and Savannah Taylor and Christum Furor and everyone else on this godforsaken roster. We are done being an afterthought. And we don’t care what you think of it. If it’s us against everyone else then so be it. Because we are hunters. We are survivors. And if you’ve seen what we’ve done to each other, well… just imagine what we’ll do when it’s the two of us against all of you. We are more than your future tag team champions. We are the catalyst for change and we will not stop until every single one of you has answered for your crimes.

Kevin Hardaway: There is only one way out of this. We don’t give a shit if it’s Ruby and Kevin versus The World. Because that’s the way we both see it. Everybody can go say what they want to say about us, because you know what...that’s what we’re expecting. And do you think we care? So yeah. These are the eyes of two people who tried to make sure each of us didn’t live past 2015. Have you ever seen the eyes of people who will try to kill you in your sleep? Because these are the eyes that will do it without even blinking. Because we will do whatever is necessary to make sure that this change that she’s talking about is a foregone reality.

And there’s not a damn thing any of you can do about it.

And as you all look at whether or not Cordy and Dan are okay on the outside getting looked at by the EMT’s, hopefully they can hear us. Because we’re coming to get you. To the entire FGA roster in the back...we’re coming to get you.

Ruby Tyler: We are your judges.

And we are your executioners.

“Personal Jesus” hits the PA system again as the lights start flickering, as Ruby and Kevin immediately leave the ring, taking the microphone as Ruby throws it at the ring announcer and walk back up to the entrance ramp, looking at the mess that the EMT’s are cleaning up with Cordy and Dan as they just stop, smirk, and keep walking up the ramp, the crowd in a frenzy of boos as Ruby and Kevin keep shutting them out.

Kris Cruise: What in the world has gotten in to them and why are you clapping!?

Stephy Auger: I like it! It’s about time that these two stopped playing nice. Those two were screwed out of the Tag Team Titles back at All-Star Showdown V. Hardaway had the match won. But Cordy Teasenson stole the title from RubyWay. Where is there rematch? Why weren’t they in this match tonight? Those two are tired of being stepped on, Cruise. Now, it’s going to be them stepping on everyone that gets on their way.

Kris Cruise: You’re just as misguided as they are. Thankfully we quickly got medical attention for our Tag Team Champions. But I can guarantee you this. This isn’t the end, Stephy. Not by a longshot. You haven’t heard the last of Status Quo. They’ll recover from this and when they do? They’e going to make RubyWay pay for this. Unbelievable!

JOHNNY KARMA vs. THE NEW KINGS

The arena lights flash in a myriad of different colours in time with John Bonham's quite remarkably epic drum intro that is filling the arena, and just as it reaches a crescendo Johnny Karma marches out through the entranceway and continues down the ramp without pausing for a second, and as he continues towards the ring Cherry Baum makes her way out into the arena and follows Karma down to the ring

Once Karma reaches ringside, he quickly climbs the ring steps and steps onto the ring apron, pausing to check over his shoulder in case The New Kings are looking to get the match started early, and once he's sure he's on his own he steps through the ropes into the ring as Cherry climbs onto the ring apron and steps into the ring

Once he's inside the ring, Karma removes his ring jacket and hands it to Cherry before he paces back and forth in the ring, keeping his eyes on the entrance all the while

Kris Cruise: From what I’ve heard through the grapevine, this match was originally scheduled to be Johnny Karma and Fujiko Mine against Johnny Cannon and Sunshine Scandalous Tony Carmine. But due to some unfortunate circumstances outside the ring, the former Pride Champion was forced to take a leave from the world of professional wrestling...

Stephy Auger: So they stuck Johnny Karma in there by HIMSELF against The New Kings? They couldn’t find anyone else to stick in there with Karma? Of course they couldn’t! Fujiko was the only one silly enough to join Karma in his crusade against Cannon and Carmine. Now that she’s gone, he’s all by his lonesome. Tonight, we might just see the last of Karma. If I were you, Cruise, I’d take a good, long look at Karma.

Kris Cruise: Why?

Stephy Auger: So you can remember how he used to look!

Kris Cruise: ...

When "Solarflare" by Yung Lean hits, the lights dim and eventually the crowd will begin to jeer. Pink and purple strobe lights starts to flare. Once the bass drops, Scandalous Tony emerges from the curtains with his arms spread out, accompanied by 3 full-figured women following behind him(never the same group of women). He pops the collar on his furry vest before turning his back the ring and utters something to the women behind him. Suddenly he swings back around and slowly struts down the ramp, repeating the lyrics. He takes his purple pick out and starts picking his hair out.

"The molecule that's me won't go without a fist
I'm a molecule but I stand in the mist
Bitch don't cut your wrists, I'mma kill to live
Solar flare, I can see the skies opening, I'm almost there"

After putting the pick away, he then pulls out a nail filer and starts filing his nails, all the while taking his sweet time to get to the ring as he instructs the females to have the ropes held for him by the time he gets to ringside. With the ladies seated on the middle rope, Tony ignores them and walks up the steps and into the ring on his own. Tony laughs as he stands on the middle rope and looks out to the fans while slowly and seductively taking his furry vest off and throwing it to the group of females as they step off the apron. He backflips into the ring as his music slowly fades.

J.A. Aldridge: And his opponents! Introducing first, from Boca Raton, Florida! Weighing in at 179 pounds! Representing The New Kings … SUNSHINE SCANDALOUS TONY CARMINE!

Kris Cruise: Earlier this year, Karma did the unthinkable and ended the reign of then-Pride Champion, Tony Carmine. Sense then, Karma’s been a thorn stuck in the side of Tony Carmine. But his deep personal issues with Carmine’s partner go back further than that.

Stephy Auger: Karma has consistently stuck his nose in their business. If he would’ve learned his lesson all those months ago, he wouldn’t be in the position that he’s in today. Carmine and Cannon were kind enough to try and beat some sense into Karma on more than one occasion. But he never learned. He continued to defame the royalty of The New Kings. Now Cannon and Carmine have to drag him to the guillotine in the town square so that he can be used as an example for all the other peasants.

Yellow strobe lights suddenly shine down across the entrance way, whilst the house lights begin to dim down. Slowly, almost in unison with the change in lightning does "Voodoo Child" (Jimi Hendrix" Cover) by Brick + Mortar begin to play. A small ebb of yellow smoke ascends from the ventilators to grace the ramp. The Brit's silhouette emerges behind the curtain, only backed by another image.

Finally, bursting through the curtain emerges "The British Mamba", Johnny Cannon. The Brit stands before the masses at the apex of the ramp, his face stone cold until a slight grin shines through the cracks. The Londoner surveys the landscape, soaking in the boos and jeers from the lively crowd whilst standing tall in an exquisite two piece tuxedo. With Quinn Goodrich right beside him carrying a NIKE gym bag, Cannon lifts up a bottle of Belvedere, taking a swig. The usual vainglorious glows’ absent from the Mamba’s presence. The look in his eyes is one of bloodthirst, and his demeanor that of a man coming to handle his business in the most painful manner possible. The Last Real Man finishes his vodka, tossing it aside as Team Cannon begins their march to ringside.

J.A. Aldridge: And his partner, also representing The New Kings and being accompanied to the ring by Quinn Goodrich! From London, England! Weighing in at 245 pounds! He is “THE BRITISH MAMBA” … JOHNNY CANNON!

Cannon walks hard to the ring, his strut less swaggering and pretentious as previously seen, now slow and methodical, whilst Quinn jaws off at the crowd as he does so. Johnny ignores the responses from the crowd, showing complete indifference to them.

Stephy Auger: Look at the eyes of The British Mamba. Those aren’t the eyes of a man that wants to play, Cruise. Those are the eyes of a man that wants to rid himself of Karma, once and for all. We all saw what he did to Chris Bond six weeks ago. Karma will be sharing the same fate.

Kris Cruise: Unfortunately for Karma, The New Kings might just do that tonight. Karma’s familiar with the two-on-one and even three-on-one attacks when it comes to Carmine, Cannon and Danny Diamond. But those were after match attacks. We’re talking about an actual match here! There isn’t anyone in Karma’s corner! There’s no one for him to tag out to! No one will be there to make the save!

Stephy Auger: It’s over, Cruise. Look, they’re even surrounding the ring right now!

Karma keeps his head on a swivel as The New Kings are on each side of the ring. They each fake climbing up onto the apron, trying to get Karma to commit to cutting off one side of the ring or the other. The bell sounds as Karma runs over to knock Cannon off the apron. But Cannon hops off the apron and to the floor. The crowd boos as SSTC runs up from behind Karma. But the boos turn to cheers when Karma counters with a back elbow to the face. He then delivers a series of hard knife edge chops. But Cannon is quick to cut him off by reaching back into the ring, yanking Karma down and slowly pulling him out of the ring.

Stephy Auger: See that, Cruise! That’s what’s gonna happen all night. As soon as Karma even gets a little bit of moment, Cannon or Carmine will be right there to cut him off!

Once Karma has been pulled to the outside, Cannon throws out a right hand. But Karma blocks and counters with a punch of his own. Cannon throws out another right hand. But again, Karma blocks and counters with a punch of his own. The crowd continues to cheer as Karma nails Cannon with another punch… and another… and another. After the last right hand, Cannon is sent stumbling away from Karma. But before Karma can follow up, the crowd boos when he gets blindsided by a rolling suicide dive from SSTC.

Stephy Auger: He never saw it coming, Cruise!

SSTC returns to his feet and puts the boots to Karma. Cannon then marches over and joins SSTC in stomping the hell out of Karma. The New Kings reach down, pick up Karma and throw him against the side of the ring. Karma bounces off the edge of the apron before crumbling to the floor. The New Kings reach down, pull Karma back up… and then throw him down to the floor with a double mat slam. Karma immediately clutches the back of his head after it smacks off the floor.

Kris Cruise: He might have hurt himself bad there, Steph.

Stephy Auger: It’s only going to get worse from here.

The New Kings reach down, pick up Karma and deliver a double irish whip down ringside and into the guardrail. Karma can be seen arching his back in pain upon impact.

Kris Cruise: Did you hear the sound that that made? Did you see how hard they whipped him into that rail?

Stephy Auger: He’s gonna be feeling it tomorrow, I can promise you that one.

After sizing Karma up, SSTC runs down ringside and charges at Karma. But Karma counters with a back body drop over the guardrail and into the crowd.

Stephy Auger: Oh no!

Kris Cruise: Great counter there by Karma!

Before Karma can follow up, Cannon nails him with a running European Uppercut which sends Karma over the guardrail and into the crowd.

Kris Cruise: Just like that, The New Kings regain control.

Stephy Auger: Strength in numbers, Cruise. You’ve gotta love it!

The crowd boos as Cannon reaches over the rail, pulls up Karma and goes for a vertical suplex back into the ring. But the boos turn to cheers when Karma slips down from behind, spins Cannon around and plants him with Instant Karma.

Kris Cruise: Karma just planted Cannon head-first onto the floor with that DDT!

Goodrich can be heard yelling at Karma. But Karma pays him no mind. Karma picks up Cannon and brings him back over towards the ring. After slamming Cannon face-first on the apron, Karma shoves him back into the ring. Once Karma rolls back in, he picks up Cannon, marches into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Cannon around, Karma lights up his chest with a series of knife edge chops. He then takes Cannon and goes for an irish whip. But Cannon reverses, sending Karma into the opposite corner. Cannon runs across the ring to follow up. But Karma runs from out of the corner and cuts him off with an NYC Uppercut. Cannon returns to his feet, but Karma is quick to knock him down with a European Uppercut. Once Cannon returns to his feet, Karma lifts him up, delivers an inverted atomic drop, grabs him by the neck, runs towards the ropes, leaps over the top rope and brings Cannon down throat-first across the apron with Macho Karma. Karma climbs back up onto the apron. But before he can climb up to the top turnbuckle, SSTC grabs him from behind and yanks him down to the floor.

Kris Cruise: Karma hasn’t been able to sustain any momentum in this match.

Stephy Auger: People want to try and drive a wedge between Carmine and Cannon. But they’ve clearly got each others back as you see right here.

SSTC nails Karma with a knee to the midsection. He then grabs Karma and goes for a vertical suplex. But Karma blocks and then counters with a vertical suplex of his own on the floor.

Kris Cruise: The Scandalous One went for a vertical suplex. But he ended up getting a suplex himself!

As soon as Karma returns to his feet, the crowd boos as he gets blindsided by a baseball slide from Cannon.

Stephy Auger: The British Mamba is on the ball yet again!

Cannon rolls to the outside and goes back to putting the boots to Karma. He then mounts himself on top of Karma and pummels him with a flurry of right hands to the face.

Kris Cruise: Look at Cannon! Look at the intent behind those punches. He’s trying to put his fist through Karma’s face!

SSTC moves Cannon off of Karma, mounts on top of Karma himself and nails Karma with rights and lefts. He then yanks Karma back up to his feet and signals for Cannon to come over. Once The New Kings grab a hold of Karma, the crowd boos as they deliver a double vertical suplex on the floor.

Kris Cruise: You can hear the pain Karma’s in after taking that suplex on the floor. He’s in a bad way, Stephy.

Stephy Auger: And it’s only gonna get worse. Fujiko Mine isn’t walking through that door.

Cannon picks up Karma and rolls him back into the ring. After Cannon rolls himself back in, he drags Karma away from the ropes before making the cover.

Karma gets his shoulder up.

Stephy Auger: He should’ve stayed down and played dead.

Cannon picks up Karma, marches into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle before tagging in SSTC.

The crowd boos as SSTC gets in, grabs Karma, runs into an adjacent corner and slams Karma face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Karma around, SSTC steps back and chokes Karma with his foot while pulling down the top rope.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

SSTC reluctantly breaks the choke. He then takes Karma, runs back over towards The New Kings’ corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. He then tags Cannon back in. Once Cannon gets in, he turns Karma around and unleashes a ballistic combination of rights and lefts to the body. After a right hook to the liver, Karma doubles over before crumbling down to the canvas. Cannon then drags him away from the corner before making the cover.

Karma gets his shoulder up.

Stephy Auger: Cannon might be retired from cage fighting. But he’s still got those combos, Cruise! You’re looking at the arguably the most lethal striker in all of FGA!

Cannon picks up Karma and whips him hard into the corner. The turnbuckles rattle as soon as Karma crashes into the corner. Karma can be seen arching his back upon impact before slowly falling down to the his knees. As Karma falls over on all fours, Cannon makes his way across the ring. After pulling up Karma, Cannon whips him hard into The New Kings’ corner. After his back collides with the turnbuckles, Karma falls face-first to the canvas.

Stephy Auger: Look at him! It’s over, Cruise. Maybe the ref will have some bit on him and throw in the towel.

Cannon makes his way across the ring, drags Karma out of the corner, turns him over and makes the cover.

Karma gets his shoulder up.

Cannon heads over and tags in SSTC. While SSTC steps into the ring, Cannon picks up Karma and holds his arms from behind.

Kris Cruise: Uh oh, this isn’t good.

Stephy Auger: You don’t say.

SSTC runs into the ropes. When he returns, he throws out a spinning roundhouse kick. But Karma is able to free himself, which causes Cannon to get caught with the move to an explosion of cheers!

Stephy Auger: Gah!

Kris Cruise: Cannon got caught with The Bedazzler! Cannon got hit with The Bedazzler from Tony Carmine!

While Cannon is down, Karma grabs SSTC from behind, runs, hops over the top rope and delivers Macho Karma. While SSTC stumbles back, Karma climbs up onto the apron, scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and knocks him down with a flying double ax handle smash. He makes the cover.

SSTC kicks out.

Karma picks up SSTC and goes for an irish whip. But SSTC reverses, sending Karma into the ropes. When Karma returns, SSTC sets up for a back body drop. But Karma stops in front of SSTC and quickly holds him in place for a piledriver, which causes the crowd to go wild.

Kris Cruise: Carmine’s about to be Dazed, Confused and All Messed Up!

But before Karma can lift SSTC up and deliver his finisher, SSTC counters with a standing double leg takedown. After wrapping his arms around Karma’s legs, SSTC leans back and delivers a catapult. But Karma uses the momentum to knock Cannon back down with a clothesline.

Kris Cruise: What a move that was! Some quick thinking there by Karma!

After SSTC returns to his feet and sees Karma back up, he runs over and throws out a clothesline. But Karma ducks. When SSTC turns around, the crowd explodes with cheers as Karma rattles off three snapping jabs before dropping him with Sugar Ray Karma. He makes the cover.

Cannon pulls Karma up off of SSTC. He then runs and tosses Karma through the ropes and to the floor.

Stephy Auger: Karma can’t compete with the numbers game.

While Karma writhes in pain on the floor, Cannon steps out onto the apron and waves Karma up. After Karma slowly returns to his feet and then turns around, the crowd boos as Cannon runs along the apron, leaps off and knocks him down with a flying high knee.

Kris Cruise: What a knee that was by The British Mamba! My goodness!

Stephy Auger: I’m surprised Karma’s teeth aren’t down his throat right now.

Cannon picks up Karma, marches over towards the ring post and slams Karma face-first into it. He then turns Karma around and hammers away with a flurry of elbows smashes. After holding Karma in place against the ring post, Cannon pulls his other arm back before throwing out a burning lariat. But Karma ducks, causing Cannon’s arm to smack against the ring post. The crowd cheers as Cannon clutches his arm.

Stephy Auger: Gah!

Karma takes the arm, hammerlocks it and delivers Dynamite Karma on the floor. But as soon as Karma returns to his feet and turns back to his feet, SSTC knocks him down with a plancha to the floor.

Kris Cruise: Again, The New Kings are right there to cut off any momentum!

SSTC picks up Karma and rolls him back into the ring. After rolling himself back in and pulling Karma away from the ropes, he makes the cover.

SSTC picks up Karma and goes for another vertical suplex. This time, Karma slips down behind SSTC. He then quickly grabs SSTC from behind, turns him around and throws out Hard Times. But SSTC ducks. When Karma turns around, the crowd boos as SSTC knocks him down with a reverse discus elbow. He makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Karma got rocked by that elbow. But he still had the wherewithal to get his shoulder up.

Stephy Auger: Again, he should’ve stayed down and played dead.

SSTC picks up Karma and whips him into the ropes. When Karma returns, SSTC knocks him down with a dropkick. After dragging Karma into position, SSTC heads into the corner, scales up to the top turnbuckle, flips off and goes for the Phoenix Splash. But Karma rolls out of the way, causing the crowd to explode with cheers when SSTC crashes the canvas.

Stephy Auger: No!

Kris Cruise: Karma moved out of the way! Just in the nick of time!

After Karma pulls himself up using the ropes, he heads over to SSTC, reaches down and pulls him up by the back of the tights. He then turns SSTC around before throwing out Hard Times. But again, SSTC ducks and heads into the ropes. When SSTC returns, the crowd cheers as Karma lifts him up, turns and throws him down with a spinebuster. He then rolls across SSTC and hooks the leg.

The crowd sighs, then boos as SSTC gets his shoulder up.

Karma picks up SSTC and goes for an irish whip. But SSTC reverses, sending Karma into the corner. He then runs across the ring and follows up with a running clothesline in the corner. SSTC climbs up onto the middle ropes and punches Karma four times. SSTC goes to continue punching Karma. But Karma grabs him, walks from out of the corner and delivers an inverted atomic drop. While SSTC’s knees are buckled, Karma steps back before knocking him down with Check Your Chiclets. He makes the cover.

SSTC gets his shoulder up.

Karma picks up SSTC and throws him down with a scoop slam before stepping out onto the apron. Karma goes to climb up to the top turnbuckle to deliver a diving elbow drop. But SSTC is quick to get back to his feet, run up the turnbuckles and cut him off with punches to the face. After hooking Karma’s arm, the crowd boos as SSTC throws him down with a top rope arm drag.

Kris Cruise: Carmine throws down Karma from the top rope!

Stephy Auger: You know what comes next!

Kris Cruise: Unfortunately...

While Karma writhes in pain on the mat, SSTC slowly turns over and gets up on a knee. He waits impatiently while eying Karma’s movements. When Karma slowly begins to turn over, SSTC gets up into a crouched position. As soon as Karma gets up on one knee, the crowd erupts with boos as SSTC runs over and flattens him with #PimpShit. He makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: NO!

The crowd erupts with cheers when Karma gets his shoulder up. SSTC can’t believe.

Stephy Auger: How!? HOW!?

Cannon empathetically puts his right arm out for the tag. After looking down at Karma with disgust, SSTC heads over and tags Cannon back in.

Stephy Auger: The British Mamba wants the pleasure of ending this himself.

As Karma slowly turns over and begins pulling himself up using the ropes, Cannon runs up from behind and nails him with an elbow smash to the back of the neck. After turning SSTC around, Cannon places Karma’s body in between the middle & top ropes. He then grabs Karma by the back of the neck with both hands and chokes him against the top rope.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Cannon lets go to turn and run into the far ropes. When Cannon comes back, he knocks Karma down to the floor after a running big boot to the face.

Kris Cruise: He just clobbered him with that big boot!

SSTC climbs down from the apron, walks around ringside, picks up Karma and rolls him back into the ring. As soon as Karma is rolled back in, he’s met with repeatedly knee drops to the chest from Cannon. He makes the cover.

Karma gets his foot on the bottom rope.

Cannon then reaches over and hooks the leg as he makes the lateral press.

Cannon lets go. Once he returns to his feet, he reaches down, pulls up Karma and whips him into the corner. He then runs across the ring, delivers a corner high knee, tosses Karma out of the corner and follows up with a running knee strike to the side of the head. He then drops down, pulls Karma over and makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: Stay down you idiot. Stay down!

Cannon picks up Karma and doubles him over with repeated knee strikes to the midsection. He then lifts Karma up before delivering a pumphandle neckbreaker. Cannon makes the cover.

Cannon picks up Karma, moves him into the corner and rocks him with an elbow smash. He then takes Karma and whips him into the opposite corner. Cannon lines Karma up before running across the ring and connecting with a corner yakuza kick. After Karma crumbles from out of the corner, he makes the cover.

The crowd gasps, then cheers as Karma gets his foot on the bottom rope.

SSTC then runs over and kicks the leg off the bottom rope.

Cannon picks up Karma and throws out a burning lariat. But Karma ducks. When Cannon turns around, he gets caught with three jabs. Karma then motions for the right hook to complete Sugar Ray Karma. But Cannon cuts him off with a European Uppercut. He then takes Karma, runs into the corner and follows up with a running European Uppercut. After pressing his back against Karma, Cannon unleashes a series of alternating back elbow strikes in the corner. He then turns around, takes Karma and whips him into the opposite corner. Cannon lines up Karma before running across the ring and throws out another running European Uppercut. But this time, Karma moves out of the way. After Cannon crashes into the corner and staggers back, Karma reaches over his shoulder, grabs Cannon from behind and brings him down with the Bum Trip (shoulder neckbreaker). He turns over and makes the cover.

Cannon gets his shoulder up.

Karma picks up Cannon and goes for an irish whip. But Cannon reverses, sending Karma into the ropes. When Karma returns, Cannon hoists him in the air and delivers a kick to the chest on the way down. While Karma is doubled over, Cannon applies a front facelock and is about to lift him up for the Cannon Driver II. But Karma grabs Cannon by the arm, spins out and knocks him down with Hard Times to an explosion of cheers.

Kris Cruise: Hard Times out of nowhere!

Stephy Auger: Ah!

Kris Cruise: Hard Times from out of nowhere! Can he make the pin!?

Karma drops down and makes the cover.

The crowd boos as SSTC dives over and breaks up the pin.

While SSTC heads back out onto the apron, Karma slowly brings Cannon back to his feet. After grabbing him from behind, Karma turns him around and motions for Hard Times. But Cannon counters with a bicycle knee strike. While Karma is dazed, Cannon delivers multiple open hand slaps, followed by an elbow strike to the head, followed by a discus forearm. While Karma is still dazed, Cannon turns and runs into the ropes. When Cannon returns, the crowd explodes with cheers as Karma knocks him down with Check Your Chiclets.

Kris Cruise: Karma connects with the superkick!

Karma has nothing left and immediately collapses onto the mat after hitting the move. With both men down, the ref starts his count.

Cannon heads over to tag out. But Karma turns him around and lights him up with right hands to the face. He then takes Cannon and whips him into the ropes. When Cannon returns, Karma knocks him down with a running high knee. He then runs over towards The New Kings’ corner and knocks SSTC off the apron with a running high knee.

Stephy Auger: Hey!

With the corner all to himself, Karma hoists himself up onto the middle ropes, dives off and goes for a fist drop. But Cannon catches Karma’s chin on the way down by lifting his foot up in the nick of time.

Cannon returns to his feet and picks Karma up before whipping him into the ropes. When Karma returns, Cannon knocks him down with a single leg dropkick. He then turns over and makes the cover.

Cannon picks up Karma and goes for an irish whip. But Karma reverses, sending Cannon into the corner. He then runs into the corner and connects with an NYC Uppercut. After Cannon slumps down in the corner, Karma runs next to the ropes and knocks SSTC off the apron with an NYC Uppercut.

Kris Cruise: Karma’s hitting everything that moves!

After Karma heads over towards the center of the ring, the crowd cheers as he charges into the corner and connects with the Kodak Moment. He then drags Cannon from out of the corner and makes the cover.

Karma picks up Cannon, delivers an irish whip, follows him into the corner and connects with another NYC Uppercut. After climbing up onto the middle ropes, Karma punches Cannon while the crowd counts along.

Stephy Auger: I’m shocked they made it past two!

After climbing back down, Karma hoops Cannon by the arm before launching him out of the corner with a hip toss. As Cannon sits up and arches his back, Karma runs out of the corner and executes a rolling neck snap. He then returns to his feet before running into the ropes. When Karma returns, he knocks down SSTC with a baseball slide.

Kris Cruise: Carmine got caught with two boots right to the chest!

Stephy Auger: Get up, Cannon, get up...

The crowd cheers as Karma slowly scales up to the top turnbuckle. Karma gauges the distance between Cannon and the corner.

Kris Cruise: Karma’s about to drop the elbow straight down onto the cold black heart of The British Mamba!

Karma’s about to jump off to deliver From The Stars Above. But SSTC hops up onto the apron, grabs him by the apron and jumps back off, crotching Karma on the top turnbuckle.

Kris Cruise: Damn him!

Cannon stumbles into the corner before climbing up onto the top ropes.

Stephy Auger: You know what’s coming next, Cruise!

Kris Cruise: Yeah, it’s the same move that he put Evangelista out of action with!

He then pulls Karma up, cradles him, jumps off

Kris Cruise: NO!

… and delivers a top rope Cannon Driver. The crowd sits in stunned silence. Boos then quickly fill up the Roy Wilkins Auditorium as Cannon turns over and makes the cover.

J.A. Aldridge: Here are your winners, THE NEW KINGS!

Quinn Goodrich makes his way into the ring and raises Cannon & Carmine’s arms to a chorus of boos from the crowd. Cannon motions to leave the ring, but he stops on a dime, turns and heads back over towards Karma.

Kris Cruise: What the heck is he doing? The match is over.

The crowd gasps as Cannon sits up Karma, traps his arms in a crucifix hold and starts elbowing the hell out of him.

Stephy Auger: Shades of First Wave, Cruise!

The crowd erupts with boos as Cannon continues to rain down elbows on Karma. The assault continues until FGA referees and officials rush the ring and pull Cannon off of Karma. While the FGA personnel shield Karma from further attack, The New Kings look on. Cannon then spits down in Karma’s direction before stepping through the ropes and exiting the ring. Once all three of them are out of the ring, Goodrich raises Cannon and Carmine’s arms once again to a chorus of boos from the sold out crowd.

[FGA Office]

A bright white light hits the middle of the FGA canvas. A Spartan is standing in the middle with a sword and shield at hand as he holds up the shield to block himself from the blinding light. The camera zooms in as a motion picture of a DNA molecule crosses the screen, then it fades into the black hole that wasn’t showing a face in the Sparta Warrior’s helmet. The black hollow slit in the mask shows Zero McHannon’s face. The DNA molecule crosses across the slit once more in the helmet and now it’s Chandler Scott standing there.

NARRATOR: Two individuals. Greatness is the only thing on their mind. Being the best in the world. Holding the title of “Legendary” in the eyes of those who watch them. When greatness clashes with greatness, it makes a completely different element to the sport. It brews POWER! One CONQUERS all! It creates AMBITION! And only one will emerge from the ashes… the war will rip down those not even involved in it… One man dies, while the other lives. In this day and age? There’s always two variations of the story. The music hits now as the year 2015 crosses the screen. It’s Chandler Scott and Tony Carmine versus Zero McHannon and Sean Sands. Zero comes crashing down on Carmine with a flying elbow! Sands nails a devastating backbreaker to Chandler before taking a high knee to the chest and forcing him out of the ring by Carmine. Running European uppercut from Scott to his opponent, that drives them back into the corner!

Then Chandler lifts up Zero and plants him with the DNA DRIVER! McHannon is old cold to the world as Scott hooks a leg for the three count. The crowd goes into a massive series of boos for the former FGA World Champion and when Zero picks himself up off the mat, they burst into cheers. A completely different approach to what we see from both men in present days. Chandler makes his way up the rampway with a cocky laugh, Tony Carmine by his side. Zero looks up to the roof of the arena and moves the hair out of his face, Sean Sands dropping to a knee to check on him.

“Death surrounds,
My heartbeat's slowing down,
I won't take this world's abuse,
I won't give up or refuse!

This is how it feels when your dignity's stolen,

Dom Harter comes running in on Scott, hitting a double knee drive square in the chest. Harter has the Empty Shell locked in as it looks like Chandler’s fading off, but hand raises up from the mat before he’s lights out. The scene cuts to Chandler as he connects with a hangman’s ROARING HAMMER to Dom, then drops down to both knees for the cover. Before the win can be processed it cuts to Chandler Scott standing across the ring from Mark Storm. Scott is thrown backwards in the ring by a dragon suplex delivered from Storm, but the scene quickly flashes again. It’s Chandler who nails the DNA DRIVER to Storm and turns over to lift a leg for the pinfall.

CHANDLER SCOTT: You’ve got your own pro football team. I don’t own any sport teams! You’re sponsored by Avion. I don’t have any companies sponsoring me! You’ve got your own tour bus. I don’t have my own bus! You’re a record three-time World Champion here. That’s something that even I can’t say… everytime you look in my direction, that feeling of inferiority punches you in the gut.

The camera cuts back into the ring from the rafters as Chandler Scott and Johnny Karma are standing across the canvas from each other. Everything is slow motion as Chandler fires at Karma with the ROARING HAMMER, but then the gasp from the crowd can be heard whenever he breaks out of it. A second ROARING HAMMER does it though as Karma crumbles to the mat after taking the hit another time. Scott falls down on Karma as the pin is made… then cuts to Chandler holding the FLC trophy over his head, while standing on the turnbuckle, to cheers from the audience.

The scenes of Zero McHannon start to hit the screen. He’s walking down the rampway and looking on at Johnny Cannon being the one holding the FGA World Championship in the middle of the ring. It’s now in the middle of the match as Cannon delivers a hard spinning back fist, causing Zero’s head to snap back and couple of teeth flying into the air. McHannon is on his knees and reaching up to his mouth, but only tastes blood. Carmine is hitting Zero with some stiff elbows then nails the #PimpShit. McHannon is leaning up from the mat and the FGA World Championship can be seen in the pupils of his eyes.

ZERO MCHANNON: Shut me up, bitch. I’ve given you every chance in the world to do that, and you know the crazy part? You think everything you’ve said has actually been amazing. I’ve been shredding you. I haven’t held back while you’ve put on the parking brake.

McHannon has Cannon on his shoulders as he’s standing on the turnbuckle, then jumps forward with a rolling fireman’s carry ONTO Tony Carmine! He ducks under a clothesline from Cannon and throws him off unaware as he plants him down the ZERO TOLERANCE! Zero scrambles for the pin, but Carmine comes crashing into the scene to break it up. Carmine hits Cannon with another #PimpShit and is looking to make the pin, but McHannon rushes up from behind him with the grapple. Zero lifts up Carmine and throws him down with the ZERO TOLERANCE! McHannon reaches forward and pulls Carmine’s leg to his chest. McHannon yells out to the crowd that is drowning him in jeers, then thrusts the FGA World Championship into the air.

“Break their hold,
Cause I won't be controlled,
They can't keep their chains on me,
When the truth has set me FREEEEE!

This is how it feels when you take your life back,
This is how it feels when you finally fight back,

What doesn't kill me makes me stronger!”

Chandler and Hardaway are both in fights for life as Kevin suicide dives through the middle ropes to a heads on collision with Chandler! He rolls the number one contender back into the ring for a pinfall attempt, but Scott drives a shoulder off the mat. Chandler picks up Hardaway, hooks one of his arms, gives a quick glance out towards the crowd, then throws the man down with the DNA DRIVER as an explosion of cheers fill the arena. Scott has his arm raised to the crowd, but eventually walks away from the referee, stands on the turnbuckle, and spreads his arms.

CHANDLER SCOTT: Nuked relationships. Horrible title runs. Scandals out the ass. Zero, my man, it’s been a sloppy year for you. Must suck, doesn’t it?

Zero McHannon and Salem Cartier are slowly walking around the canvas looking at each other, then a low laugh exits from Zero’s end right before it shows them grappling up in the middle of the ring. Buzzsaw kick to McHannon from Salem that makes him hit the mat in a gruesome manner, but the scene quickly shifts to Zero dodging the New Hampshire Handshake, then… ZERO TOLERANCE! McHannon stands up to boos from the fans, clutching his fist, then forming a “Z” with his hands to the stands while saying some select words to the camera close by.

ZERO MCHANNON: What your father didn’t do was warn you about men like me… and you father is a piece of shit for that.

The title “FINAL FRONTIER” now flashes in the screen as the fans are seen standing in the background of Chandler Scott versus Zero McHannon in the ring. Both men are exchanging blows in the middle of the ring, but it’s Zero who goes down first with a pendulum backbreaker from Chandler. Zero is now seen firing back with a kickout DDT of his own at Scott. McHannon slowly finds his feet, but is put right back down with a rolling neck snap! Chandler is on Zero’s shoulders as he’s kicking wildly, but it doesn’t save him from the shoulder switch power slam in the middle of the ring!

DNA DRIVER FROM CHANDLER SCOTT!

ZERO TOLERANCE FROM ZERO MCHANNON!

CLOSED CURTAINS! Chandler is seen fighting against the submission hold, but then he finally breaks down and taps out. Scott is clutching the FGA World Championship as he falls back into the corner turnbuckle with wild eyes, then shows him putting it firmly on Zero’s shoulder before giving it a hard pat. Scott goes to walk out of the ring, but McHannon grabs him by the arm… then raises it to the crowd.

“NO!
Not gonna die tonight,
We've gotta stand and fight forever (don't close your eyes),
NO!
Not gonna die tonight,
We've gotta fight for us together,
No, we're not gonna die tonight!”

Chandler Scott is now seen the ring once more as several scenes show him pinning various competitors, then each time he raises the FGA World Championship high above his head. A monthly counter is in the corner of the screen as it racks up the numbers, then keeps spinning rapidly, and finally breaks. Scott has the championship around his waist as he interlocks his thumbs onto the gold plate. He pulls a hand off the title and pretends to shoot a hand pistol at the camera, following it up with a wink. The final scene is Chandler standing in a bright spotlight that’s focused in the center of the ring. There’s him, and there’s the title firmly around his midsection. He looks up to the lense whenever the camera comes flying in.

CHANDLER SCOTT: That’s just Chandler Reigning Supreme… again.

Zero McHannon is now leaning over the FGA World Championship as he’s crying. He leans in and kisses the gold plate. The scene cuts to him at Final Frontier, then at the Gold Rush, and finally at Above and Beyond. Each and every time the show goes off air, it’s Zero McHannon holding the FGA World Championship. McHannon is backed into the corner with the title around his waist as he steps forward, runs two hands through his long hair, then flicks the sweat down at the canvas. Zero is now standing the in middle of the ring as the camera comes zooming in on him, his back towards the lense. He slowly looks over his shoulder, then spreads his arms before spinning around and closing his eyes in the spotlight.

ZERO MCHANNON: ZERO. FUCKS. GIVVVVVVVVEEEENNNNNN!!

The final transition on the screen is Zero and Chandler standing next to one another. In the background sounds like a faded radio host voice as he keeps replaying both of their careers in a distance. Both men slowly turn towards each other, take a few steps forward, and bump heads…

Who will get their… RETRIBUTION!?

The lights dim as the sound of a guitar plays throughout the arena. Red lasers soon begin to shoot out from the stage. Once their attention has been captured, the crowd turns to the entryway to prepare for the man that's about to walk out. At the 25 second mark, “Animal Ghosts” bursts through the speakers. Chandler Scott steps through the curtain with outstretched arms to a loud ovation from the crowd.

Chandler makes his way down to the ring with a smirk on his face. After slapping hands with a fan or two, he rolls himself into the ring as the lights come back on. Chandler times his ascension onto the middle ropes with the beginning of the chorus. The crowd sings along with the chorus while Chandler poses with his arms stretched. When the chorus ends, Chandler hops off the middle ropes, turns and lands on his feet. He begins slipping off his leather jacket and tosses it to the outside as he waits for his opponent.

Kris Cruise: It doesn’t get much bigger than this. Chandler Scott stated it perfectly. This is the match that will pit the man that dominant most of 2015 against the man that dominated most of 2016. History is on the line here tonight. Can Chandler Scott defeat Zero McHannon to become a three-time FGA World Champion?

"Nobody Likes Me" by Deuce ft. Ronnie Radke hits the speakers. Bells are heard chiming through the speakers as the music comes in blazing, the lights surveying the arena, but then it stays focused on the top of the ramp with a bright white light. Zero McHannon walks through the curtain with the FGA World Championship fit firmly around his waist, and a black zip up with the hood over his head and a leather jacket over the hoodie. He turns his back to the audience, holding up a "Z" with both hands to the crowd, then turning around abruptly, and rips the "Z" apart.

“Nobody likes me,
No one likes me,
But I don't like them,
Uh uh, I don't, nu uh"

Zero holds his arms out for a moment and raises his head to take in the atmosphere from the fans as they shower him in hate, then slowly starts to make his way down the ramp. He walks down the ramp as fans are throwing jeers in his face, but Zero completely ignores them, and keeps his eyes fixated on the ring. McHannon stops at the bottom of the ramp and bounces on the balls of his feet, looking from one side of the arena to the other, then sliding in through the bottom rope, and bouncing right up to his feet.

“All this hate you gave me that turned me deranged
Now I'm burning in the flames
All the things you said, they've been stuck in my head
And now I'm at it again, an addict

Zero McHannon climbs the nearest turnbuckle spread his arms and begins to yell towards the crowd as they do their best to cheer over him with jeers. He freezes for a moment, taking in the reaction from the audience, then hops from the corner ropes, and tests the mat under his feet. He's talking to himself as he crosses the ring and stands up on the other turnbuckle, brushing off his shoulder to the crowd, and slapping himself in the chest. Finally, he unbuckles the FGA World Championship from his waist and holds it high above his head with one hand as the crowd tries to drown him out.

"This is my chance
Maybe my last
And if I leave
There's no way back

This is your fate
When worlds collapse
I took my pain
Now give it backkkkkkk"

McHannon walks into the middle of the ring with the title in one hand, and pulls off the zip up with his other hand, tossing it off to the side of the canvas. He falls back into one of the corners, and slumps into the turnbuckle, holding the World Championship close to this chest with both hands as he waits for the match to begin.

Kris Cruise:

Stephy Auger: I think Zero McHannon stated it perfectly. How many times have we seen Chandler Scott deny one of these great wrestlers. How many times have we seen one of these great superstars give it their all and give him the fight of their lives, only to come up short? Chandler Scott is going to be on the receiving end of that tonight. Mark my words.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest, scheduled for one fall, is for the FGA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!

Cheers and applause can be heard throughout the crowd.

J.A. Aldridge: Introducing first, the challenger! From Hyannis, Massachusetts! Weighing in at 228 pounds… CHANDLER SCOTT!

The crowd explodes with cheers. “CHANDLER! CHANDLER CHANDLER!” chants soon break out.

J.A. Aldridge: And his opponent, now residing out of Long Island, New York! Weighing in at 218 pounds! He is the reigning… defending… FGA World Champion… ZERO MCHANNON!

The crowd erupts with boos. “FUCK YOU, ZERO! *clap-clap, clap-clap-clap*” chants break out. The senior official for the match shows the championship to Scott before raising it up towards all four sides of the crowd. While this is going on, McHannon and Scott continue to stare each other down in the middle of the ring.

The bell sounds as McHannon rocks Scott with a right hand. But Scott comes back with a punch of his own. McHannon then drills Scott with another right hand. But again, Scott answers back with a punch of his own. McHannon throws out another punch. But Scott ducks and counters with another punch of his own. McHannon throws out another punch. This time, Scott blocks and counters with a punch of his own. He then knocks McHannon back with another punch… and another punch… and another. While McHannon is dazed, Scott turns and runs into the far ropes. When he comes back, the crowd boos as McHannon leaps halfway across the ring and knocks him down with a flying forearm smash. He makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: That left leg looks pretty good to me, as does everything else.

Kris Cruise: Oh stop.

McHannon picks up Scott, moves him into the corner and delivers a series of knife edge chops. Once McHannon is done, Scott grabs McHannon, tosses him into the corner and unleashes a series of chops of his own. He then runs across the ring, leaps into the corner and goes for a flying corner elbow smash. But McHannon moves out of the way.

As Scott stumbles back, McHannon quickly grabs him from behind and lifts him up for Zero-Tolerance, which causes the crowd to gasp.

Stephy Auger: It’s about to be over already!

But McHannon lifts him up with too much force, which causes Scott to roll over his shoulder. After he lands behind McHannon, Scott grabs him from behind, runs and tosses him through the ropes and to the floor. As McHannon gets up on the outside, Scott takes off into the far ropes. When he comes back, the crowd cheers as he leaps through the ropes and tackles McHannon down with a suicide dive. He then mounts himself on top of McHannon and hammers away with a flurry of short-range punches to the face.

Kris Cruise: Scott knocks down McHannon with a dive to the floor.

Scott picks up McHannon, slams him face-first onto the apron and then shoves him back into the ring. After rolling himself back in, he makes the cover.

Scott picks up McHannon, marches into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning McHannon around, Scott nails him with a punch to the ribs, followed by a punch to the face. He then nails McHannon with another punch to the ribs, followed by a punch to the face. Scott delivers yet another punch to the ribs, followed by a punch to the face. After nailing McHannon with a hard European Uppercut, he brings McHannon from out of the corner before sending him into the far ropes. When McHannon returns, the crowd cheers as Scott sends him flipping down to the canvas with a kitchen sink to the midsection. While McHannon sits up, Scott bounces into the ropes. When he returns, he delivers a rolling neck snap. He then rolls across McHannon and hooks the leg.

As McHannon stumbles out, Scott scoops him up from the side before delivering a pendulum backbreaker. Scott grabs McHannon by the beard, pulls him back up to his feet and doubles him over with a knee to the midsection. After delivering another knee for good measure, Scott scoops him up from the side and delivers yet another pendulum backbreaker. He makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: After trading fists at the start of this contest, Chandler Scott has been all over the champion.

Stephy Auger: it’s not how you start, Cruise, it’s how you finish. There’s still time left. Don’t worry. We’re far from done here.

Scott returns to his feet and lifts up McHannon’s legs. He then holds the legs apart, steps through the legs and crosses them around his, which causes the crowd to cheer.

Kris Cruise: He’s about to turn him over into the Scott Lock!

Stephy Auger: No no no no no….

But before he can turn McHannon over into the Scott Lock, McHannon reaches up and pulls him down into a modified small package.

Kris Cruise: Both men tried to go for their finishers early, but their opponents were quick to counter.

After both men return to their feet, McHannon catches Scott with a hard European Uppercut. After another uppercut sends Scott stumbling back, McHannon turns and runs into the ropes. When McHannon returns, the crowd cheers as Scott dips his shoulder and dumps him over the top rope and to the floor.

Kris Cruise: Back to the outside goes the champion!

After McHannon gets up on the outside, Scott grabs the top rope and goes for a slingshot plancha to the floor. But McHannon catches him in mid air before throwing him down with a shoulder switch powerslam on the floor.

Kris Cruise: Good lord what a slam!

Stephy Auger: That’s how you do it, McHannon!

The crowd continues to boo as McHannon picks up Scott and then rams him back-first against the edge of the ring. McHannon pulls Scott away, then rams him back-first against the side of the ring again. He then takes Scott and goes for an irish whip. But Scott reverses, sending McHannon crashing into the guardrail.

Kris Cruise: McHannon’s cringing after Scott reversed that irish whip

Scott pulls McHannon away from the rail and goes for a vertical suplex. But McHannon blocks it. Scott then goes for another vertical suplex. This time, he starts to lift McHannon up in the air. But McHannon kicks his feet, which causes Scott to lower him back down. From there, McHannon lifts up Scott and throws him down across the steel steps with a front suplex. The thud from the impact can be heard throughout the crowd.

Kris Cruise: McHannon countered the vertical suplex with a front suplex across the steel steps.

Stephy Auger: He might have broken a rib or two!

While Scott’s body hangs over the steps, McHannon takes a few steps back. Once he’s got Scott linded up, McHannon runs over and delivers a dropkick to the back of the head, which causes Scott’s face to smack against the side of the steps. After McHannon returns to his feet, he throws Scott down from off the steps before rolling him back into the ring. McHannon then rolls himself back in and makes the cover.

McHannon picks up Scott and goes for a vertical suplex, but Scott blocks it. After a punch to the ribs, McHannon goes for another vertical suplex. But again, Scott blocks it. So McHannon lets go, doubles him over with a knee to the midsection and then plants him with a Kickout DDT. He makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: You know McHannon would love for nothing more than to beat Scott in this match here tonight.

Stephy Auger: Why shouldn’t he? Scott blamed an injury for the last lost. But when he beats him in the ring tonight, there won’t be any excuses, Cruise.

Kris Cruise: He never blamed his injury for that loss, actually.

Stephy Auger: Typical. You people will never give our champion the respect that he deserves. He’ll remember that.

McHannon picks up Scott and whips him into the ropes. When Scott returns, McHannon scoops him up across his shoulder and sets him up for a sitout shoulder breaker. But Scott kicks his legs, which forces McHannon back towards the ropes. From there, Scott is able to slip down and land on the apron. When McHannon turns around, Scott nails him with an elbow smash, which elicits cheers from the crowd. He then goes for a shoulder thrust through the ropes. But McHannon counters with a knee lift. While Scott is doubled over, McHannon steps out onto the apron through the ropes and quickly grabs Scott from behind, setting him up for a German Suplex.

Kris Cruise: Oh no! McHannon’s about to German Suplex Scott right off the apron.

Stephy Auger: GOOD!

McHannon goes to deliver a German Suplex. But Scott hangs onto the ropes. The crowd gasps as McHannon repeatedly tries to yank Scott off the ropes. But Scott hangs on for dear life.

Stephy Auger: Look at him, Cruise! Scott’s scared for his life!

So McHannon lets go and hammers away with clubbing shots across the back of the neck before going for another German Suplex. But again, Scott hangs onto the ropes. So McHannon goes back to trying to yank Scott off the ropes. But again, Scott’s got a death grip on the ropes. So McHannon lets go and nails Scott with three kidney punches, which loosens Scott’s grip on the ropes.

Stephy Auger: Oooooh, you know those had to hurt!

After wrapping his arms around Scott’s waist, McHannon heaves him over his head, delivering a German Suplex off the apron and to the floor.

Kris Cruise: Scott just landed hard on the floor! There are mats on the floor! But those can only soften the blow so much.

While Scott is down on the floor, McHannon pulls himself up using the edge of the apron. As he turns and looks over at Scott, Scott begins to writhe on the floor before favoring his neck. But McHannon shows no remorse as he goes over and begins stomping away on Scott. McHannon reaches down, picks up Scott and whips him hard into the ring steps. The steps go tumbling over after Scott crashes his left shoulder into them.

Stephy Auger: That’s the same arm that Scott has surgery on last December, isn’t it?

Kris Cruise: Yes it is.

As Scott slowly pulls himself up using the ring post, McHannon comes up from behind and delivers a discus clothesline. He then takes Scott, rolls him into the ring and then slides back in. McHannon picks up Scott and delivers a vertical suplex lift dropped into a neckbreaker. He turns and makes the cover.

As McHannon slowly brings Scott up off the mat, Scott nails him with punches to the midsection. But McHannon cuts off the comeback with a knee to the midsection, followed by a back suplex. McHannon returns to his feet and goes to counter with an elbow drop. But Scott rolls out of the way. After both men return to their feet, Scott kicks him in the midsection and goes to lift him up for a shotgun stunner. But McHannon slips down from behind and counters with a backstabber. He then picks up Scott, lifts him up and delivers a Shotgun Stunner of his own.

Stephy Auger: That’s how you do it, Zero! Show him how it’s really done!

Kris Cruise: McHannon dipped into the archives on that way. That used to be one of his old finishers, you know?

McHannon picks up Scott and whips him into the ropes. When Scott returns, McHannon leaps up and goes for a Codebreaker. But Scott blocks it on the way down. After standing back up, Scott hooks his arms around McHannon’s legs before leaning back and catapulting McHannon into the corner. The crowd cheers as McHannon’s face smacks the top turnbuckle. Once McHannon stumbles back and turns around, Scott lifts him up across his shoulders to set up a fireman’s carry neckbreaker. But McHannon is quick to deliver elbows to the side of the head. After he slips down from behind, he shoves Scott into the ropes. When Scott returns, McHannon throws out a discus clothesline. But Scott ducks and counters with a floatover DDT to a roar of cheers. He makes the cover.

After throwing McHannon down with a scoop slam, Scott points to the top turnbuckle as he heads into the corner.

Stephy Auger: What the heck is he doing?

Kris Cruise: I don’t know. Scott isn’t exactly known for his aerial ability.

Scott heads into the corner and begins to climb the turnbuckles. But as soon as he reaches the top, McHannon dives over and yanks down the top rope, which causes Scott to lip down and land on the top turnbuckle.

Stephy Auger: HELLO!

While Scott is crotched on the top turnbuckle, McHannon makes his way into the corner. After climbing up onto the middle ropes, he shakes his head before stepping up onto the top ropes. This causes the crowd to gasp.

Stephy Auger: Oh baby! Here it comes!

Kris Cruise: McHannon’s going all the way up to the tippy top! What’s he about to do here!?

McHannon picks up Scott, lifts him up and goes for an avalanche belly to back suplex. But Scott shifts his weight in mid air and crashes down across McHannon. The crowd cheers.

Scott picks McHannon and positions him for a powerbomb. But before he can lift up McHannon, McHannon counters with a standing double leg takedown. After hooking his arms around Scott’s legs, McHannon leans back and catapults Scott into the corner.

Stephy Auger: That’s right, McHannon! Give him a taste of his ow-UH OH!

But unbeknownst to McHannon, Scott lands safely on the middle ropes. Once McHannon returns to a vertical base and turns around, the crowd cheers as Scott steps up onto the top ropes, flips off and knocks him down with a moonsault. He hooks the leg.

McHannon heads over and pulls Scott away from the corner… only to run back into the corner and throw him shoulder-first into the ring post again. The crowd erupts with boos. McHannon turns and gestures to them that they yap too much.

Scott slowly slips through the ropes before falling to the floor.

Kris Cruise: He might be hurt here.

Stephy Auger: Well McHannon isn’t going to leave any doubt as to whether he’s hurt or not.

McHannon drops down on his back before rolling putting the boots to Scott’s left arm. He then reaches down, hammerlocks Scott’s left arm and throws him shoulder-first into the ring post.

Kris Cruise: Oh come on!

Stephy Auger: Hey! I don’t see anything illegal.

The crowd continues to boo McHannon as he takes Scott and rolls him back into the ring. After grabbing Scott by both wrists, McHannon yanks back, pulling Scott’s left shoulder into the ring post.

Stephy Auger: Ooooo, I bet that hurt. What do you think, Cruise?

Kris Cruise: ...

McHannon takes Scott by the left arm, steps back then then…

*THWACK!

… swings Scott’s left arm against the ring post.

McHannon then puts his foot against the ring post, grabs Scott by the left wrist both hands and tries to rip Scott’s left arm from out of its socket.

Kris Cruise: What the hell is the matter with him!

Stephy Auger: There’s nothing the matter with him. McHannon puts winning above all else. People like you and all of these mutants in the crowd are the problem. Just listen to them.

McHannon slowly turns and looks at the booing crowd. He smiles as he slowly holds up the double bird at them. A few overzealous fans begin to throw popcorn, soda, candy and various other food items at him. But McHannon ignores them as he returns his focus to his opponent.

Back in the ring, Scott rolls away from the corner as he clutches his left arm. McHannon smirks as he slowly climbs back up onto the apron. After wiping his feet off on the apron, McHannon steps into the ring.

Stephy Auger: He can sense blood in the water, cruise!

While Scott is curled on on the canvas, McHannon stands over him before delivering several stomps to the shoulder. He then reaches down, slowly pulls Scott up from behind… and locks on a crossface chickenwing.

Stephy Auger: YEAH!

Kris Cruise: McHannon’s gt the crossface locked on!

Scott can be heard groaning in pain as McHannon yells in his ear to tap out like the bitch that he is. The ref asks Scott if he wants to give up. But Scott refuses. McHannon repeatedly yells in his ear to tap.

Crowd: NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!

The ref checks back in with Scott and asks him if he wants to give up. When Scott refuses to quit, McHannon begins swing Scott from side to side before holding Scott back in place.

Kris Cruise: McHannon’s dying to get that submission!

Stephy Auger: He’s so close, Cruise! He can almost taste it!

The ref asks Scott if he wants to give up. When Scott refuses, the crowd boos when McHannon hurls him over his shoulder and delivers a chickenwing suplex. He makes the cover.

Scott lunges forward and throws a right hook. But McHannon moves out of the way. McHannon mocks Scott as he continues to wave him up. One Scott gets up from off his knee, he throws out another wild right hook. But again, McHannon moves out of the way. He then quickly follows up with a punch to the liver, which knocks Scott down to a knee. McHannon then stands talls with his arms spread out, taking in the throngs of boos and jeers from the sold out crowd.

Stephy Auger: It’s over, Cruise! Even I don’t want to see Scott get beat up this badly by the NEW FGA of DNA!

Kris Cruise: This isn’t over yet.

Stephy Auger: Are you seeing what I’m seeing?

McHannon can be seen mouthing “it’s over” to the hard camera as he slowly pulls Scott up from off his knee. Just then, Scott nails McHannon with a surprise European Uppercut with the right arm.

Stephy Auger: That no good...

The crowd cheers as Scott then nails McHannon with another European Uppercut… and another… and another. While McHannon is dazed, Scott locks his hands before flattening McHannon with a discus Roaring Hammer.

Kris Cruise: ROARING HAMMER!

Stephy Auger: NOOOOO!

The roof nearly comes off the Roy Wilkins Auditorium as McHannon gets dropped with the Roaring Hammer. But the blow causes Scott to drop to his knees before rolling onto his back. Scott clutches the arm as he appears to be in immense pain.

Stephy Auger: I think that move hurt Scott just as much, if not more, than it did McHannon.

While both men are down, the ref starts his count.

McHannon walks over and steps out onto the apron. He then grabs onto the top rope with both hands as he measures the distance.

Kris Cruise: What’s McHannon going for here?

Stephy Auger: I’m just as clueless as you are.

The crowd boos as McHannon delivers a springboard 450 Splash. He hooks the leg.

He then turns McHannon around, doubles him over with a kick to the midsection, straints as he lifts up McHannon, turns and throws him down with a spinning sitout powerbomb.

The crowd sighs, then boos as they see the submission applied. McHannon can be heard yelling at Scott to tap out. Meanwhile, Scott can be heard groaning in pain.

Kris Cruise: Scott’s trying to fight through this.

The ref asks Scott if he wants to give up. But Scott refuses.

Kris Cruise: Scott’s still trying to hang on!

Scott’s right arm is flailing as he’s trying anything and everything to escape. He then shifts his weight onto McHannon, pinning him.

Kris Cruise: McHannon is trying to get that submission as if his life depended on it! Look at his eyes!

Scott’s trying to fight through it. He’s trying to fight through the pain. But McHannon’s keeping Closed Curtains locked on tight. Scott raises his hand up… and flips off McHannon. The crowd erupts with cheers.

Stephy Auger: How dare him!?

Scott gets to his feet and strains as he drags himself inch by inch towards the ropes. He then reaches back with his right leg… and gets it on the bottom rope. The crowd cheers as the ref gives McHannon until the count of five to break the hold.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

McHannon reluctantly breaks the hold.

McHannon grabs Scott by the left arm, drags him away from the ropes and brings him back to his feet. He then lifts Scott up across his shoulders for another fireman’s carry gutbuster. Scott groans as he uses his left arm to repeatedly elbow McHannon in the face. The elbows cause McHannon to stumble over towards the ropes. After slipping down from behind, Scott turns him around, doubles him over with a boot to the midsection. The crowd explodes with cheers as Scott lifts him up and plants him with a lifting single underhook DDT.

After McHannon bounces off the mat and rolls over onto his back Scott clutches his left arm before turning over and draping his right arm across McHannon’s chest.

While McHannon hobbles on one leg, Scott steps back before kicking McHannon’s leg leg out from under him. McHannon gets back to his feet, but Scott knocks him down on his back after kicking his left leg out from under him. After McHannon reaches and pulls himself up suing the ropes, the crowd explodes with cheers as Scott comes up from behind and kicks McHannon’s left leg out from under him so hard that McHannon flips back in the air and lands down on the left knee.

Stephy Auger: Oh no! Poor Zero!

Scott grabs a hold of McHannon’s left ankle. McHannon tries to grab onto the ropes. But it’s to no avail as Scott drags him back towards the center of the ring. Scott then takes the left leg and delivers a rolling leg snap. The crowd cheers as Scott gets back to his feet, lifts up McHannon left leg and delivers another rolling leg snap. The crowd continuess to cheer Scott as he picks up McHannon’s left leg and delivers another rolling leg snap to the left leg.

Kris Cruise: McHannon’s writhing in pain on the canvas!

Scott drags McHannon over towards the ropes. After draping McHannon’s left leg across the middle rope, Scott jumps up and delivers a seated senton across the knee. McHannon yelps out from the pain. Scott bounces off the bottom rope, jumps up and delivers another seated senton to the left knee. McHannon can be heard groaning while he cringes in pain. Scott climbs up onto the bottom rope, bounces, leaps up and delivers a third seated senton to the left knee. McHannon covers his hands as he wails.

Scott slowly slips to the outside. He then takes Mchannon and drags him over towards the ring post. Scott takes the left leg, steps back and then…

But Scott isn’t done. After maneuvering McHannon’s legs around the ring post, the crowd explodes with cheers as Scott jumps up and applies a figure-four leglock around the ring post. The ref heads to the outside and quickly gives Scott until the count of five to break the hold.

Scott reluctantly lets go.

Scott returns to his feet and slowly slips back into the ring. After bringing McHannon back to his feet, Scott slams McHannon face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning McHannon around, Scott takes the left leg and hooks it on middle rope. From there, Scott delivers a series of knee strikes to the leg. He then follows up with a hard European Uppercut before unhooking the left leg. After lifting McHannon up and sitting him down on the top turnbuckle, Scott climbs up onto the second rope. But then he stops, looks out at the crowd and shakes his head before crawling up to the top ropes.

Kris Cruise: Now it’s Chandler Scott that going all the way up to the top!

Scott brings McHannon up onto the top turnbuckle before delivering a superplex that sends both men crashing down violently on the canvas.

Kris Cruise: Did you hear the impact!? What a superplex!

Scott turns over and makes the cover.

Scott returns the favor. The crowd goes wild as both men continue to give the finger to each other back and four.

After the gestures, McHannon nails Scott with a right hand. Scott returns the favor with a right hand of his own. McHannon then nails Scott with another right hand. Scott comes back with another right hand. McHannon nails Scott with a punch.

Crowd: BOOOOOO

The ref asks Scott if he wants to give up. When Scott refuses, McHannon follows up with a chickenwing gutbuster. He then turns over and makes the cover.

So Scott heads over towards the center of the ring, picks up McHannon and whips him into the corner. Scott runs towards the corner, jumps and connects with a flying corner elbow smash. Scott steps back towards the center of the ring, runs, jumps and connects with another flying corner elbow smash. Scott then steps all the way back towards into the opposite corner as the crowd is at a fever pitch.

Kris Cruise: Scott’s got the crowd in his hands, Stephy!

Stephy Auger: ...

Scott charges across the ring, leaps into the air and clobbers McHannon with a flying corner elbow smash that sends blood flying out of the champs mouth. He then hoists McHannon up onto the top turnbuckle. After turning around, reaching up with his right arm and placing McHannon in a three quarter facelock, Scott takes a few steps from out of the corner before spiking him with a top rope-hung cutter.

Kris Cruise: Mass Spike!

The crowd continues to cheer Scott as he turns McHannon over and makes the cover.

The crowd sighs, then boos as McHannon gets his shoulder up.

Scott picks up McHannon and goes for an irish whip. But McHannon reverses and intentionally whips Scott into the referee. As McHannon drops down onto his right knee, the lead official stumbling back before falling through the ropes and to the floor.

Kris Cruise: The ref just got sent flying right out of the ring.

Once Scott gets to his feet, he slowly heads over towards the ropes. While Scott steps halfway through the ropes to check on the ref, McHannon then gets up, runs over as best he can and kicks the middle rope up, hitting Scott right in the jewels to an explosion of boos.

Kris Cruise: OH COME ON!

Scott cringles as he slowly crumbles down to the canvas.

Stephy Auger: What!? What happened!? What did I miss!

Kris Cruise: It was right in front of you!

Stephy Auger: Yeah, I saw the ref fall to the floor!

Kris Cruise: Stop it!

While Scott lays curled up in pain, McHannon rolls to the outside. He violently shakes the ref by the collar before rolling him back into the ring.

Stephy Auger: Come on, Zero! Get this win!

Kris Cruise: Try not to sound so biased.

After McHannon rolls back into the ring, he cringes as he hobbles over towards Scott. McHannon reaches down, pulls up Scott from behind, lifts him up and throws him down with Zero-Tolerance. The crowd continues to boo McHannon while he yells at the ref to count. The ref slowly shakes out the cobwebs as he just comes to. He starts the count.

Stephy Auger: Come on, ref, start counting! Start counting!

The crowd explodes with cheers as Scott gets his right shoulder up. McHannon leans back on the canvas and covers his face with disbelief.

Kris Cruise: I can’t believe it, either!

Stephy Auger: That makes three of us!

McHannon slwoly turns over before getting back up. He reaches down, picks up Scott, lifts him up from behind and throws him down with Zero-Tolerance.

Stephy Auger: WHAT!?

Kris Cruise: HE GOT IT UP! SCOTT GOT THE RIGHT SHOULDER UP!

Stephy Auger:

McHannon turns over and pounds the canvas with his fists out of frustration. He then gets back to his feet, grabs Scott from behind, pulls him back up to his feet, lifts him up and throws him down with Zero-Tolerance. The crowd continues to boo as the ref starts the count.

Stephy Auger: YES! YES!! YES!!!

The sold out crowd sits in stunned silence as the ref calls for the bell.

J.A. Aldridge: Here is your winner and STIIIIIILLLLL… the FGA World Champion, ZERO MCHANNON!

Kris Cruise: …

Stephy Auger: YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!!

“Nobody Likes Me” blares throughout the arena as the ref goes over and heads McHannon the title. But he can’t get up from off his back. So the ref goes down to hand him the titles. McHannon then reaches up and snatches the title from him.

Kris Cruise: …

Stephy Auger: YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! YES!!!

Boos begin to drown out the McHannon’s theme music as he constantly thrusts the champion in the air from his back. He slowly sits up as is still visibly in agonizing pain. After draping the championship over his shoulder, he holds up his hands in a “Z”.

Stephy Auger: And STIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLL your World Champion, ZEROOOOOO MCHAAAAAAANNOOOOOON! Say it with me, Cruise!

McHannon tries to get up to his feet. But his knees quickly buckles against, sending him stumbling into the ropes. So McHannon slowly slips down and rests with his back against the ropes. He welcomes the crowd to “talk shit now” before grabbing the left knee. He then takes the titles from off his shoulder, gazes at it and then kisses the center plate before holding it up for all to see. The camera zooms in on the FGA World Championship before fading to black...
