"Heyyyy You Guys!"

This was the spunky spontaneous greeting that Layla Star shouted out mere moments after hitting record and bouncing around her bedroom, as her entrance theme “Get Fresh With You” by Teddybears feat. Laza Morgan playing on her stereo. She danced and mugged for the camera, showing off her white girl moves bopping and moonwalking in front of the camera until the music faded.

"Shout out to 3GW! Where are you on the freshness meter? Because I'm totally fab, fresh, and fly! My boyfriend tells me everyday. He's awesome don't you know? Lukas Gold is his name and together we form the most fun and high flying tag team you will ever know or see: The Gold Star Connection!"

She gave two big enthusiastic thumbs up and plopped back on her bed, kicking up her feet in the air and showing off her pink and white striped socks and Care Bears pajamas.

"If you can't tell I'm like super excited, like out of my head happy. Like when I thought all the Harry Potter books and movies were done and over and then we get Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Part 1 and 2 and also Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them! Even though one of those is a stage play script and the other is some prequel movie that doesn't even have Harry Potter in it as far as I know! But you know what? I just heard they are re-releasing ALL the Harry Potter movies to theater. Squeeee!!!!"

She rolled around on the bed and then sat up, a half-lost daze on her face for a moment.

"Okay but gosh enough about Harry Potter, it just makes me excited. And you know what else makes me excited? Wrestling. Being in a tag team with my partner and soul mate, love of my life. The sweetest, funniest guy I ever knew. A real dreamboat. Sigh..."

She looked to the side and you could almost see the hearts in her eyes.

"Anyway, we're in California... Hollywood where all the blockbusters are made! Except when they are filmed on location almost anywhere else for setting or cost cutting. Do you know they film in Toronto and pass it off as Chicago? Crazy!"

She twirled a finger at her ear and stuck out her tongue.

"Me and Lukas have been together for years, as a tag team and as love birds! And I think we have like a super awesome fun advantage over this first team we face. And I only say team because yes they are tagging this week, but Maritza Diaz and Rab McKinley are not a long time team. They might've been students together in Lion's Den down in North Carolina. So? Guess what? Me and Lukas were students down in West Virginia. And don't go making fun of us for being from West Virginia, we aren't a bunch of shoeless shirtless hillbillies. Even though I don't wear shoes a lot, and come to think of it Lukas doesn't wear his shirt a lot... those are totally personal choices! Everyone in 3GW will know that even with no shoes, and no shirts, we'll still get service!"

She nodded with a big smile.

"And no offense to Maritza and Rab, they might be big and strong, I don't feel they are a serviceable team. And Lukas and I will show all these fans that. Those two don't know each other's tendencies and quirks down to the most minor detail. Heck, I bet Maritza can't even understand what Rab says. I mean I can't. Communication is key and theirs don't fit the lock, silly!"

She mimes using a key on a lock and failing, she gives an 'aw shucks' look.

"We are the Gold Star Connection and we are gonna unlock our full potential on the glitz and glam stage. We're gonna unlock that door that has the richest prizes that 3GW has to offer. Bueno Club? Any tag team that wanted to move out here to California feeling that gold rush, wanting to strike it rich, win some tag team gold? Sorry! We want the gold too, because we are gold. The Gold Star Connection, silly!"

She hit play on the stereo again and danced around as the video faded.
