PUT SOME RESPECK ON IT

“Disrespect.”
Slowly the scene opens to the last LDFC Old North champion, Jensen Banks, Mets cap on his head and dressed in plain street clothes as he sports an annoyed look on his face. The young New Yorker seems to be speaking from the comfort of his own home, a new place he and Emily Carter purchased in Long Beach. Gage can be heard in the background, but no words are able to be picked up by anyone watching.
“That’s what I felt when I saw the first ever Thursday Night Challenge card drop and saw that the main event would not involve anyone in my match, but ADAM ADONIS and ASH SCION. I felt disrespected when I saw that instead of putting talents that have shown their loyalty and aren’t just all hype, you give us Adam “disappear for 6 months” Adonis and Ash “who cares” Scion. I felt so disrespected that I was even agreeing with Prince MacRear of all people!
The fact of the matter is, the wrong choice was made when deciding who should main event the first ever 3GW show. I felt just as disrespected as everyone involved in my match. As everyone else on the card that actually is going to stay here for longer than a cup of coffee. And do you know how I know that I was in the right when I brought this up, outside of the fact that I was actually agreeing with MacRear?
I got Zero McHannon and Cordy Stevenson to like the same tweet about the point I was trying to make! Two people who always seem to have differing opinions agreeing with me on the same exact thing. Now I’m not saying that helps further prove just how messed up this is, but...that’s pretty much what I’m saying.”
Jensen lets out a sigh.
“But of course, nothing got heard and here I am, ready to talk about the REAL main event of the first Thursday Night Challenge while we won’t actually be the last match. In an eight man tag match, I get to partner up with Echo Rigby, Mercy Williams, and the last Apex champion, Emily Carter.”
Banks flashes a small grin after he mentions his girlfriend, knowing that their luck tends to be more on the good side when they team together.
“And we get to take on the quartet of Shintaro Majima, TERRY Tillman, Keegan Hightower, and the always annoying Prince MacRear. I got history with three of these guys and would’ve had some history with the fourth had LDFC not gotten bought.
Shintaro Majima is the only one who I don’t have history with, but I know that he and I were set to collide for the title that’s still in my possession despite the fact that LDFC is now defunct, the Old North championship. But my hope is that after this match is done, 3GW officials do put us in the ring with one another and we settle what could have been, title or not title. Until then, we settle for this meeting where we may or may not butt heads, who knows with the crazy eight man tags.
As for your partners?
I’m not even going to bother wasting my breath on Keegan Hightower He and I already met three times in the LDFC ring and I beat him two out of three times, and that’s all y’all really need to know.
Terry Tillman?”
Jensen looks around for a bit, trying to see if Gage is around, before he turns back towards where he was looking at prior.
“Fuck that dude. He walks around here like he’s worth a damn but needed a distraction from his brother to beat a guy who can actually win gold, AKA me. This match is his chance to prove he’s better than Emily, but we already know this probably isn’t going to end well for him.
And then there’s Prince MacRear, who’s saying that he’s not even bothering with this match and he’s not showing up. Of course, I’m not stupid, so I’m going to plan for this match like he’s going to be there and if he is? I’m going to kick him in the face...again.”
A grin appears on Jensen’s face.
“Doesn’t matter if he does or doesn’t show up. What all of us who actually wrestle in the match will do is prove that we’re going to be some of the top talents in 3GW. Prove that we’re the real main event.
And what my team is going to do, regardless of my feelings about some of their attitudes, is pick up the win.”
Banks continues to grin.
“And you can...
BANK ON IT.”
A quick wink from the grinning Jensen is seen before the video ends.
