ENTRANCE & ATTIRE
Entrance Music:
"Thunderstruck" by ACDC
Ring Attire:
Long Dark Blue Tights with the five stars of the southern cross on each leg. White boots and elbow pads. Hair tied back in a ponytail.
Ring Entrance:
With the fans in the arena awaiting the next bit of action live from FGA, it doesn't take long until the lights darken, and the local fans are left in darkness for some moments. A really familiar guitar riff kicks in on the PA system, and the riff keeps going, soon joined by a low humdrum of voices all trying to hum to the beat. The humdrum gets louder, the riff kicking up another notch or two as well, until about thirty seconds the drums kick in as well.
THUNDER!
THUNDER!
This continues for a few more moments, the beat of 'Thunderstruck' by ACDC echoing throughout the arena, until the gravelly voice of Brian Johnson kicks in. The fans keep watching closely, waiting to see who will be arriving. A heavier drum beat kicks in, and then the noise dies down slightly and Johnson's voice manages to speak out again.
YOU'VE BEEN....
Theres a moments pause, during which the drums kick into high gear and the bass hits. A loud crackling thunder is heard throughout the arena as well, as Johnson's voice screams out.
THUNDER STRUCK!
A big burst of stage flows over the stage, slowly thickening even as Thunderstruck keeps playing. After another 30 seconds or so, with the smoke still swirling around the stage, some more Thunder can be heard crackling throughout the arena, and through the smoke, as the music hits high gear walks LJ Summers. LJ slowly turns to hold his back to the crowd, arms spread wide and showing off his flag, and then slowly lowering his hand to point to the back where Skyla LaLo steps out to follow him!
Ring Announcer: “Ladies and Gentlemen, Standing in at Six feet Five Inches tall, weighing Two Hundred and Fifty Pounds, and hailing from Melbourne, Australia. Accompanied by Skyla LaLo, he is The ANZAC Warrior, L....J....SUMMERS!!
As he reaches the ring Summers stops at the ring steps, allowing Skyla to strip off his cape and then he climbs up and into the ring, ready for battle.
CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base:
Chris Hemsworth
Manager/Valet:
Skyla LaLo
Gimmick:
Summers is a confident but nice Australian. Can easily be angered, and will have no problem tossing anyone around the ring. Tries to be friendly to whomever he meets, but if you insult him or annoy him, he can bear a grudge.
Strengths:
1. LJ is a big boy, with a whole lot of body strength. has been known to lift 400 or 500 pound opponents with ease
2. The Australian has a massive heart. Refuses to give in or tap out unless he's been really badly hurt
3. Self-Confidence. The Aussie backs himself to the hilt. Never lets even the slightest bit of doubt enter his mind about a match
Weaknesses:
1. The fairer sex. LJ can easily be distracted by a long pair of legs. Skyla will often clip his ear for it too.
2. His temper. The Australian has a nasty one and when he loses it, he has been known to lose focus and make mistakes.
3. Naivety. LJ is still fairly new to the wrestling business and can be suckered into cheap shots easily.
Bio:
LJ used to be a Regular Ol' Aussie. Beer, Pie, and enjoyed spending time with his Mates. However life threw LJ a few curve-balls, and needing to get away from Australia, LJ got lucky when he was spotted by the 'Australian Sensation' Levinator. Big Lev brought him to the US and trained him, and LJ has been repaying that kindness ever since by doing his absolute best in the wrestling ring and following in his mentor's footsteps.
First he joined PRW. After starting out as a fresh-faced bland Rookie, LJ managed to get the win in his debut match, toppling 'The Abysmal Monster' Creed. Soon after, LJ made his first big impact, interfering in a Renegades VS Onslaught match to Burning Mjolnir Takato Kazama through the announcers table, taking him out of action for months. LJ would then become the star of The Renegades, following on from his attack on Kazama with wins over Sean Aries and Patrick Slaughter, but fell short in an X-Division title shot against Mark Graves. LJ would tear his calf soon after, and took a few months away to recover.
LJ also ventured over to the XWA Genesis brand during this time, but despite a couple of early victories, he failed to capatilise on his momentum and was soon sent on his way. LJ would return from his injury by first joining XWAU with his 'G'Day Challenge' a series of challenges whereby anyone that pinned him earned $1 Million Dollars. No-one would get it done, and soon enough LJ would return to LJ with the same series, again seeing himself going undefeated. LJ would manage to co-win the PRW SuperBattle a month after his return, but would lose his Undisputed Title shot at SummerFest. LJ went back to XWAU, backing up 'The Dragon' Travis Levitt in his war against the fans. Levitt had control of LJ's contract, and LJ was fine with that until Levitt started getting abusive. Thats when LJ dropped him, only to see his contract ripped in shreds and find himself banned from XWAU for the foreseeable future.
LJ enjoyed a couple of relaxed months, only appearing in PRW to win both his first and second round PRW Conquest tournament matches, and when he heard of Lord of the Ring happening for Battlezone, LJ made a call. Jack Sabbath seemed hesitant at first, but finally caved and agreed to give him a chance. And LJ blew it, being eliminated in the first round.
Summers was quiet for another year, but a recent return to XWA Battlezone - accompanied by the gorgeous blonde Skyla LaLo as his new manager - has seen him ready to take on the Wrestling World again. Maybe this time he can be successful?
