{ It’s strange… I feel like I already lived this part of my life, but it also feels brand new. Is that even possible? Maybe… for someone with some kind of mental condition, but I’m of sound mind and body. I just have over violent tendencies that hurt other people. }

The three bed room apartment of the Young family isn’t the tidiest of apartment, but when the head of the ‘household’ is a giant man child along with having a seven year old boy and a six year old girl fighting, leaving their toys all over the place, and other kind of messes that can be made leave the woman of the “house” at a disadvantage. Momentarily everything is quiet in the apartment, but that’s only because the children of the house haven’t started fighting yet. The boy is too busy playing with “Pokemon GO” on his tablet while the girl is having early morning tea with her dolls.
And the “man” of the house is busy sleeping in the master bed room. Despite that fact that it’s already going on noon this fine Monday morning. However, his slumber doesn’t have much longer to last as the door the bed room creeks open with his wife slipping in to the room.
“Rick, get up!” She yelled, hoping that it would it startle him up, but it barely got a reaction him. She brought a sigh out from his wife, because she knew that meant that he had been up all night doing whatever it is it is he does at night.
“Five more minutes…” Rick finally groggily said, as if he was still a school boy asking his mother for just a couple more minutes of sleep before being off to school for the day. Which, isn’t that far off the mark, because the reason why his wife wants him to get up so badly is so that he can hopefully get somewhere in his search for work.
“You said that an hour ago, an hour before, and an hour before that…” She huffed, “You need to get up and start looking for a job.”
“And I will…” He responded, he sounded a little more awake than before, but she knew the moment that she left the room he was just going to roll over and go back to sleep, because that’s his modus operandi. Which is why she came prepared this time for him even if it was going to mean more work for her later on. She moved closer to her husband, the father of her children, and without hesitation she pour a glass of ice water on his head.
“WHAT THE FUCK, LACI!” Rick yelled, furiously as he sat up in the bed with his soaking wet hair, but more importantly to his wife fully awake.
“You promised me you’d go job hunting today.” She answered, before she marched out of the room with the glass still in hand.
“What’s the big deal?” Rick asked, because while it has been a while since he worked last for the American Wrestling Association. It isn’t like they have hurting for money, because even though the company folded like a stale doughnut he was still getting paid from his contract that he had with the principal owner of the company, Zachary Raine, and his talent agency Raine Entertainment.
“Did you seriously forget? Your contract that we’ve been living off expired last night at midnight.” She said, and it took a moment for the weight of what she said to hit Rick. So what if his contract expired last night… they still had more than enough money in the bank to survive for a while.
“Yeah and we have enough savings to last several months without me working.” Rick replied, with a great sense of pride, because his contract was a pretty hefty one, but then again being one of the top main eventers and an eight time World champion will have that kind of effect on you.
“No we don’t…” Laci said, with another sigh as she reached her free hand up to her forehead as she could already feel a migraine coming on. “Between the kids, Adonis’ and Desiree’s medical bills, and the fact that you spoil them rotten has left with a whole forty three dollars in the account and our rent is due in three days.”
“Fine! You win… I’ll look for a job and to ease your mind about the rent I’ll call Mike and see if he will loan it to me.” Rick said, even though he knew that she wasn’t going to like the idea of owing his brother any money, because she knows the Rick and Mike have a rocky relationship as it is and it only gets rockier when money is involved in it.
“Thank you, and you may want to cut that hair… it’s raggedy and unprofessional looking.” She said, with a playful smile on her face, because even though she told him to cut it she found it sexy. However, potential employers might be turned off by it. Though she knows that isn’t the only thing that he will have against him while looking for a job.
His over violent history with Tyra Burke, Desiree Kain, and ‘Adonis’ will more than likely bit him in the ass a couple of times today if not the whole day. Even though Rick has publicly apologized for both attacks on his former co-workers and has even gone on record swearing that he is not against women’s or gay’s right, but that really didn’t help is image back then. If she had to say if anything has helped his image is the fact that he has been out of the spotlight for nearly seven years.

The scene fades in to what appears to be a deserted alley nearby the Tucson Convention Center, where Rick Young has arrived with a garbage bag that is tied closed with a toe tag. Which can clearly reads: “Rick Young” on it. While it’s obvious that it doesn’t appear to have an actual body in the bag, but with Rick Young one can never really assume anything. Rick sets his bag down on the concrete for a moment as he uses both hands to take a hold of a fairly good sized box filled with trash and flipped it upside down to dump the garbage out.
Once he has made sure the box is empty of all the debris he sets it back down on the ground and goes back to his bag. He unties it and starts to dig through it for a moment. That is until he comes up with a black sharpie with a bold chisel tip. With a smirk on his face he turns back towards the box and on the side writes in big bold letters: “RICK YOUNG’S LOCKER”. Happy with his handy work he tosses the marker back in to the bag, but then goes digging through his bag for something else.
One of the first things he pulls out of the bag is what appears to be a normal pair of needle nose pliers. However, to those that know anything about Rick Young’s history will recognize those as the very pliers that he used to remove every single one of younger wrestler’s toe nails off his “prized” feet. Which is the very reason why Rick Young has been paying the young man’s medical bills for the last several years.
The second item was a razor knife that was caked in blood. Now one wouldn’t need much explanation for this item, because it’s a tool that is no stranger to seeing the color of blood. However, this one in particular is special to Rick, because it’s the knife that he used to get inside of the head of Simon Sensation to retain his AWA World Heavyweight championship in their Jail Break match by craving his moniker in to Simon’s pregnant girlfriend’s stomach. Again, the reason why he’s been paying her medical bills for the last several years from the plastic surgeries she’s had to have to remove his mark from her.
“I’m not here to boast about my violent my violent history. So to set things straight before things get a little too far gone in to this. Before the tangents. Before I start going on about how I’m going to be proud of the way that I’m going to mutilate Evan Envi. Because believe me… I am going to proud of holding that accomplishment. But that isn’t my strategy heading in to Vertigo debut match. Just like it wasn’t my goal years ago when I tried to run Alex Wilkins down with my Camaro. I would love to be a man that is remembered for just winning great five star matches, but that’s probably never going to happen. In the ring, I’m a time bomb that waiting to explode in to some kind of violent wonderland.” Rick foreshadows, as you can tell that he carefully chose those last few words.
“I know that Evan is going to try to catapult his name in to the limelight with a win over me. Can I fault him for that? No, because I’m going to be looking to do the same against him, but the difference is that I’m going to be the one that makes it happen. When people come across me they tend to end up physically unable to continue the match and I get a sense of euphoria while my opponent’s broken body is carried from the ring. I break people down in the ring the way I do, because I know that there will come a day when it comes for me. That is the way that I will make my final exit from the ring, but that night isn’t tonight.” Rick pauses, for a moment as he goes back to the garbage bag once again, but this time he doesn’t pull out a weapon or a tool. It’s a picture, but one that still a blast from his past.
The picture is that of him along with his wife, but it also has his brother Mike Young and his girlfriend, Tyra Burke. They all look happy in the picture, but that was a long time ago now. Rick sets the picture up on the top of the box along with his knife and pliers.
“Some will find it fitting that I’m out in this alley way, alone, and looking like a hobo, because I don’t endear myself to people.” Rick said, as he found a wooden crate that he flips over to where he can sit on it.
“Which is alright with me, because friends in this business are overrated, because sooner or later they turn on you.” Rick says, “However that is off point. Envi according to his little interview on the last show wants to bring back real heroes. I hate to say it Evan, but there is no such thing as heroes… real or fake, because everyone has the ability to be good or evil. More often than the not the ones that try to be good are the most evil and the one that are “evil” are really the most kind hearted.
“With all that’s going on in the media right now that isn’t going to win me any fans, but it’s true. It’s why I operate out of a moral gray area neither good nor bad, because I learned long ago that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Let that sink in for a moment.” Rick pauses, once again as he goes back to the garbage bag digging for something that he wants really badly, because it takes him several moments to find it.
The item this time… a twenty ounce bottle of his favorite drink: Pepsi. He cracks the seal open on it and starts to down in a single gulp, but the Arizona heat is really starting to get to him as sweat is starting to bead along his forehead.
“Like I said, a police officer shoots an African American armed assailant, but he’s the bad guy and we are forced to endure Black Lives Matter protest and people start killing cops. A good guy, just doing his job to protect everyone, but he’s viewed as a villain.” Rick says, as he is offering a little bit of his opinion on the current affairs.
“However, on the flip side you have someone… any race, because race doesn’t matter, is trying to save his family’s home by robbing a bank with a water gun. He’s either shot and killed or locked up for “armed” robbery, but all he was doing was trying to do was provide for his family. The views of the world are screwed up.” Rick says, with a matter of fact tone in his voice.
“The only thing that is certain is going in to this match Evan might be the “hero” and I might be the “villain”, but I will be triumphant and no one is going to envy the beating that I give Envi, because I’m twisted and sadistic, and he’s just another statistic!” Rick finishes, as the scene fades to black.
