Simple Question

I have one simple question. How would gold look around this waist? 

Keegan Hightower walks into the living room. His girlfriend/valet Anita Handey was laying down on the couch catching up on the DVR. She paused the TV and looked at him and winked. 

It would look great why do you ask? 

Oh I was just wondering. As you know babe The Baroness and I have a chance at the Tag Team titles, albeit in a steel cage but we both know the outcome already don’t we? 

She giggled a little bit as she got up and kissed him on the cheek. 

You, and The Baroness are going to be GREAT Tag Team champions. 

She winks, kisses him on the lips as he hugs her. He lets go of the embrace and walks over and sits down at a bar stool as she goes back to watching TV. He looks at her and smiles. 

It is going to be great handing her my title and letting her put it over her shoulder. That is the best looking the title will ever be…well unless it is around my waist. That isn’t the point though, the point is that this match isn’t really concerning me. Yes, the cage is a big deal but in all reality Brute Camp thinks that it is an advantage for him, but yet Crimson and I kind of like it rough. She and I are looking forward to bashing their faces into the steel and hearing them scream for mercy. Then they talk about how it will put them two vs two against us but it doesn’t matter because the last time we faced them when the titles weren’t on the line we beat them. Now how is this match going to be any different? We ACTUALLY have a weapon at our disposal we can use it however and whenever we want. Tell me again how is this their advantage? Seems to me we are on equal footing.  

Another thing that we have in our favor is that we have something that they don’t. 

CONFIDENCE! 

We have it in spades while Mason, someone that is big, someone that you would think would never doubt himself, doubts himself. Listen to how he speaks all you have to do is look back at the last show in his little interview that he had. He talked about how he and Becky haven’t dominated the division like they were supposed to. If you have the titles like you do, you are supposed to dominate you aren’t supposed to lose, and when you lose you make the division look bad and that is what they have done from day one and we have to save the division from them. So yeah, I see Crimson and I as saviors for this division. The division needs us, it doesn’t need a team that talks about how they don’t know who they are. They don’t need someone like Mason talking, and then having little repeat behind him saying “WE ARE REALLLLY GOOOD” because the point of the matter is that they aren’t good and they need to come to that realization.  

They are supposed to beat the Systamatic, but did they? No. A little distraction from us shouldn’t have mattered Becky should have had her head on a swivel looked at us and stopped and kept her eye on the prize but she didn’t. She cost her team the match and I guarantee you that we know she is the weak link and we are going to capitalize on that and Mason will just have to watch her suffer. Of course we will go after him as well and we will hurt him just the same but Becky is the key in this match and we ALL know it. We ALL know that she might have a big heart but when the titles are on the line she is going to crumble and we will pick up the pieces and walk out as the new Tag Team champions.

That. 

Simple. 

He smiles as he taps the bar top. He nods his head and looks down at his waist. 

This is going to be the best match that I ever have had because when I walk out as one half of the Tag Team champions I will not let the title leave my waist. We are going to be the best Tag Team ever in this company. We have already beaten them before and we will do it again it is just a matter of time and well the gold will never look as good as it will when we have it around our waists. 

He winks as the scene fades.
