"They test our patience."
States the imposing Skylar II as the video opens up to the usual video setting for The Systemic. Skylar III looks especially agitated as she paces in front of him, fidgeting with what appears to be some kind of small animal skull that she grips with both hands.
"That they do, Brother III. So called teams have not been enough to silence us, including the supposed best that the Lion's Den have to offer, so they offer us a couple of thrown together buddies from the chummy subset of mindless drones which plague this den. Some might try to raise controversy over what we did to the Brute Camp, but there's nothing controversial about it. We make no pretense of wanting to outwrestle our opposition, this is a war against the diseased mindset that has manifested itself here in the Lion's Den, fighting it head on. There is no such thing as a fair fight, nor a fair war."
"All that matters is belief in your brothers and sisters, in your cause, and your preparation."
The squirrely Skylar III nods her head, blinking a couple of times rapidly before she continues.
"And all that mattered is that we spiked Becky, It's, on her hollow head."
Skylar III takes a moment to pause so she can change gears, and get back to talking about the match at hand.
"The girl, Peaches, it is no surprise that her record in tag action is checkered to say the least. Her history lacks consistency, and sticking to the grindstone. There has never been a chance to develop continuity, which is no surprise. A quick glance tells you that she's someone who lacks focus and decisiveness; after all she has the laid back demeanor and bloodshot eyes of a stone child. The one area where she has seen the most continuity is what she so desires to be seen as more than, being cheap arm candy. Which is a shame for her, because we can and will make her play that role out all over again. If she tags the Diaz, Maritza girl in? We will take the out of her element little kickboxer, isolate her, and ensure the valet is reduced to having to stand on the apron playing cheerleader to no avail."
"Our real problem, it is with the stocky one."
Skylar II growls that statement out with a furrowed brow.
"This Diaz, Maritza, the Power Princess. She tries to exude positivity, she tries to show what is possible, she is a FALSE PROPHET!"
"Destroy the pretender-whore."
"There is no path to positivity, to true happiness, to putting smiles on faces, on achieving success other than The Skylar Systemic!"
She chucks the animal skull against the wall, not skipping a beat as she rants.
"She will pay for deception, mark these words. And why is she a false prophet? Because she never experiened hardship, or the true hard choices that end up entailing day to day life, which require real mental strength. Only 'character building', spoonfed an idea of 'the right thing' which in reality is simply the 'right thing' for rich liberal millennials who want to feel useful, and put a happy coat of paint over the world's problems. Facts are that when not being able to pursue your dreams and passions or never a real concern because you have a failsafe to fall back on? Your mental strength talk is as vapid as an inspirational meme on tumblebook or whatever the little girls post on now."
"So a choice awaits."
"Try to work as a team, using tags, and be proven horribly wrong when we isolate Diaz, Maritza like we said. Or Stone Child can save Diaz, Maritza and go it alone while being the big girl wrestler she's always wanted to be. Finally, Diaz, Maritza can start the match and take her penance, but relegate Stone Child to apron duty. Your choice does not matter, our choice is clear. It is more clear than ever now that the spotlight burns brighter, and our Savior has chose Dupree nee Zellor, Annie for salvation."
She stops pacing in front of Skylar II, drops to a knee, and they both point upwards.
"We Reach for the Skylar."
Fin.
