CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base:
Brad Pitt (Fight Club era)
Gimmick:
Danny is a lot of things. Arrogant, self-centered, somewhat psychopathic, sarcastic, fearless, handsome, talented, charming. He knows he's all of these things and accepts it with pride.
Strengths:
1. Impeccable agility and athleticism.
2. Very high tolerance for pain.
3. Great technical ability.
Weaknesses:
1. Showboats far too often.
2. Has several nagging injuries from numerous hardcore matches; lower back, neck and left knee.
3. While not necessarily weak, his slight injuries occasionally give him problems when lifting opponents.
Bio:
Danny was trained by his late father Daniel Smithson Sr., whom wrestled from the late seventies to the early nineties in England as Defiant Dan, becoming the first to ever graduate from Daniel's wrestling school. He debuted in mid 2009 in 2 World's Wrestling Federation, where he went on to become the only ever three-time 2WWF Internet Champion and longest reigning 2WWF LionHeart Champion. He eventually moved onto Xtreme Wrestling Association, becoming both the first ever XWA World Television and UltraViolent Champion, as well as a two-time XWA World Heavyweight Champion. In June of 2015, a few months before XWA's closure, Danny was inducted into its Hall of Fame.
Diamond was known to have had Dissociative Identity Disorder. His split personality was known as Mirage, a dark, twisted entity who wants nothing more than chaos. Although Mirage appears to be a thing of the past now, and Danny is moving on with his life, he has picked up some rather disturbing tendencies from his time dealing with him.

Ring Entrance:
"Anything you can do, I can do better.
I can do any - I can - I can do any - I can - I can do anything better than you.
You know."
Danny Diamond steps out onto the stage as the beat of Backronym's "Better Than You" hits. With a hood covering his head, he looks down, standing on the stage with his arms spread wide. Once the first verse kicks in, Danny lowers his hood and flashes the audience a grin. He begins his walk to the ring. For the most part, he ignores the fans on the way to the ring, but he may occasionally point out fans wearing his merchandise. Once reaching the ring, Danny stands by its side and leaps onto the apron, before quickly vaulting himself over the top rope and into the ring. Once standing in the ring, Danny heads to the furthest corner and climbs to the top rope, where he holds his arms out again. Diamond takes his sunglasses off and nonchalantly tosses them out of the ring. He then pulls his hoodie off and does the same with it. Finally, "The Prized Gem" back flips off of the top rope, landing on his feet in a needless showing of athleticism.
