ENTRANCE & ATTIRE
Entrance Music:
"Cowboys From Hell" by Pantera
Ring Attire:
Marx wears mostly black singlet tights splattered with a secondary light color, dark boots with "Usual" vertically one one side and "Suspects" down the other, and dawns a black hooded pullover sweatshirt that always obscures his face during the entrance. He also always has massive amounts of tape around his fists and wrists.
Tryon also wears singlet tights, but tends to be a little more creative with different airbrushed designs. He wears matching dark boots like Marx and the same black hooded sweatshirt.

CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Bases:
Jason Marx – Taz
Chris Tryon – Rob Van Dam
Anthony Rother – Bob Odenkirk (Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul)
Manager:
Anthony Rother
Gimmick:
Tag team specialists who overcame their differences to quickly rise to the top of the division, only to feel betrayed by the fans, social media, and FGA Management. Anthony Rother is a vile human being who will do anything or say anything to get his way. He is a pathological liar and will often cite his delusions as facts. Nevertheless, he’s smart, crafty, and is a huge asset AND liability to this team. In respects to knowing the business, he’s everything that Tiffany Lawrence Michaels was not.
Strengths:
1. Cohesion – a weakness of theirs during their first run through FGA, the Suspects seem to have put their differences aside and are now on the same page.
2. Strategic Tag Team mindset – as specialists in the tag team division, the Suspects use this to their advantage. They approach almost every match the same way; they immediately try to cut their opponents half of the ring off, preventing tag outs. They utilize quick tag outs to keep themselves fresh and have an ample arsenal of double team maneuvers at their disposal.
3. Anthony Rother – think of Rother as the glue that holds the team together. Rother is a veteran manager, who has specifically focused in the tag team division. As such, Rother seems to have a knack for always knowing when to utilize distractions or getting under the other teams skin in order to allow his guys an advantage.
Weaknesses:
1. Singles competition – Jason Marx is a 19 year vet, and has always been involved in the tag team division. Chris Tryon has never really had to stand on his own. Their consistent systematic approach to tag team wrestling is a disadvantage for them if they are ever placed in singles competition where they are fish out of water. Neither one had any success in a singles match in their previous tenure in FGA.
2. Hot tempers – both men can stray from what they know in a heated moment. This causes them to make mistakes.
3. Anthony Rother – many times he can be a great asset for the Suspects. Other times he can be their greatest liability. Rother is so desperate to do anything to win, he may get caught, he may piss off the wrong opponents, or he may just cause his team headaches with management.
Bio:
Jason Marx and Chris Tryon signed with Frontier Grappling Arts in May of 2013. The Usual Suspects immediately gave the tag team division a shot in the arm at the perfect time, the beginning of the Dynamic Duos tournament. They advanced through the first round, defeating the Super Mario Wrestling Brothers. In the semi-finals they fought to a double count out with Bad Attitude, thanks to a distraction by Dom Harter.
Harter and Tryon exchanged very heated conversations through Twitter, which ultimately led to the iPad shot heard around the world. Marx didn’t care much for the massively growing ego of his partner and saw it as a distraction to their ascension in the tag team division. The two ended up not seeing eye to eye and their differences often began playing out in matches where they would often yell at each other.
Spearheaded by the interactions online and backstage with Dom, the Suspects began feuding with the Murder. It was a series of matches that often tested their partnership and their abilities, as they lost multiple times to various pairings of the group. Dom Harter got his satisfaction in Dearborn as Tryon paid for his sins in blood inside a steel cage. It seemed they might not ever taste the gold until they won the FGA Mid-Atlantic Titles from them at Respect is Earned.
Things finally looked to going well for the Suspects. Tryon seemed to finally understand the nature of the business, earning the respect of his mentor, and they seemed destined for great things. Unfortunately they went on a losing streak, first, the Super Mario Wrestling Brothers, second, in an eight man tag match with Sean Sands and Chris Bond against Dom Harter, Chris Q., and Bloodbath & Beyond, third, The Murder won back the tag team titles, and finally The Super Mario Wrestling Brothers again.
It was around this time the Suspects suddenly vanished with no explanation and no fanfare. The mystery surrounding their disappearance may finally be answered now that they’re back, with a new manager, Anthony Rother, and a new found cohesiveness in the ring as well as their views on the fans.

Ring Entrance:
Dimebag Darrell’s building rift of “Cowboys from Hell” by Pantera abruptly begins over the PA system and the fans rise in anticipation of The Usual Suspects. The song begins its heavy thrashing as the dual guitars begin their monstrous battle for supremacy as the arena lights dim. A red spotlight shines on the black curtains and the fog begins to rise when Phil Anselmo’s screaming vocals begin…
Oh…COME ON!!!
Anthony Rother steps through the curtains dressed in one of his usual suits, holding his leather briefcase that he claims is only protecting contracts with FGA Management. Marx & Tryon step out from the entrance and stand in front of the smoked out curtains as the house lights return to brightness.
Under the lights where we stand tall
Nobody touches us at all
Showdown, shootout, spread fear within, without
We’re gonna take what’s ours to have
Spread the word throughout the land
They say the bad guys wear black
We’re tagged and can’t turn back
Both men are dawning black hooded sweatshirts that obscure their face over their singlets. The trio stare out into the crowd, take in boos, and then begin walking to the ring. Rother jaws with a few of the fans in the aisle way.
You see us comin’
And you all together run for cover
We’re taking over this town
The two men pause at the base of the ring apron as Rother ascends into the ring and steps through the ropes.
Here we come reach for your gun
And you better listen well my friend, you see
It’s been slow down below,
Aimed at you we’re the cowboys from hell
Both men hop up onto the ring apron next and enter through the ropes as the music begins to fade. They begin removing their shirts as Rother begins a brief coaching session before the bell rings.
