Jessie Petersen catches up with Maritza Diaz backstage at the end of Pride. She is already out of her gear and about to leave the arena.
JESSIE: Maritza, Maritza, hey can I talk to you?
MARITZA: OMG yes you can talk to me. Hey Jessie!
JESSIE: Wow what a great debut match you had. I know you didn’t win but the effort was amazing and the fans by the end were really interested in the outcome. How are you feeling?
MARITZA: I feel like my head was almost knocked off my shoulders Jessie. I am sore all over my body, in other words I have never felt so alive in my life!!! That was amazing. The fans, just being out there with them was great…even if they had no clue who I was. Walking out to my own entrance music hearing my name announced…Most amazing feeling ever.
JESSIE: Are you at all upset about losing to Rab McKinley?
MARITZA: Jessie, I don’t lose mamma, I either win, or I learn, and Rabby taught me a lesson tonight. And I’m going to take that lesson and apply it to my training, and to my next match. In fact after the match I found him back stage and gave him the biggest hug my exhausted arms could give and I told him he was awesome.
JESSIE: He looks like he has some power.
MARITZA: Power is not the word for it. I trained in Thailand where I have been hit hard. They don’t take it easy on you and I can honestly say that that lariat was one of the hardest hits I’ve ever taken. Rabby is the real deal.
JESSIE: Well after watching you tonight I see great things in your future as well.
MARITZA: Thanks mamma that means a lot. Now if you will excuse me I have to get home and call mi mamma and papa I’m sure they are worried.
With that Maritza grabs her gear bag and heads to the exit.

The camera catches Josh Mitchell walking down the corridor. He's not noticed it, engrossed as he is in his phone.
Josh Mitchell: Should I... no. Don't call.
He suddenly turns, and paces the other way.
Josh Mitchell: Maybe I should though... I could just check in... But she's probably asleep or something. Bigger things to worry about.
He pivots once more, and starts to leave. A door slams, and he jumps, looking sharply around him... but there's nobody there, just a door slamming in the draft.
Josh Mitchell: Damn... jumping at shadows now. Got to get my head back in this...
He looks down to his phone again, frown on his face... before shoving it in his pocket, and leaving.
