[ON CAMERA]
“Round 3.”
Jensen Banks appears on your screen once again, this time standing by a ring in the LDFC training center. The Old North title is set on the apron, which Banks is staring at as he speaks.
“That's what I like to call this match between you and I, Keegan. After all, it will be the third time you and I have met in that ring, both previous times being in singles action.”
Jensen proceeds to turn to the direction of the camera before he sits down next to his first and only championship.
“The first time we faced off was in my first wrestling match ever. My debut. And on that night, a night you remember very well, you were able to pull out a win. However, that win was never considered a clean one as you had to hold the ropes to even get that three count. But round 2 definitely had a clean victory.
Unlike round 1, I was the one who walked out with his arm raised and I can gladly say that I didn't need to hold the ropes to victory. No, if my memory serves me correctly, you earned yourself a trip to BANK SHOT CITY that night, which led to me pinning you for the three count. And if we’re going to be honest? That night sent us on two different directions.
And while I can mention all the bumps in the road we both faced, all that matters is the current situation. And the current situation is that I have a title in my possession, while you are probably next in line for a shot at the tag team championships. That makes this match that much more interesting, to say the least.
We both need a win. I’m coming off a huge title win- MY FIRST EVER TITLE WIN- and you need to prove that you can hold your end in this team with The Crimson Baroness. We both have egos. Neither of us is afraid to admit it, but neither of us wants that blow to the ego either following a loss, especially when we despise each other. And we both have one win a piece. This right here is the tiebreaker. This right here will prove who the better one of the two of us is. This right here will prove whether I’m a tough champion who can be champion for a long time or a transitional one who just might drop to Mylo Danvers. It will prove whether you can actually get the job done against someone you’ve got issues with or if you’re just not that good enough.”
Banks grabs his title and stares at it as he continues to talk.
“Thursday night, I don’t expect you to hold anything. I don’t expect you to wrestle a clean match. Hell, I don’t even expect Anita to stand back and let you try and win this match like a real man. I expect every dirty trick up your sleeve and then some, which should tell you that I’m ready to give you a second trip to Bank Shot City.
Thursday night is your chance for revenge. Thursday night is my chance to prove that I am better than you. Do you think you can get the job done against me, Keegan? Because deep down, I think you already know that your chance of walking out of this match the winner is pretty slim.
One more time, Keegan. One more time. And I promise you that when all is said and done, you’re going to exit that ring with one more loss in your record than when you entered it.”
Jensen looks up at the camera and gives it a small wink.
“BANK ON IT.”
The feed then cuts, ending the video on the smirking face of Jensen Banks.
