“What can I say?” Mercy begun. She was filmed from a phone device in a sealed location inside of a building most likely in the training facility in LDFC. Mercy wore light grey sweat pants, a printed adidas sports bra.
“I understand Terrence’s grievances with LDFC and I can’t blame him. If I was in his position and not getting the rightful recognition, I would be upset too. But I must say that he definitely made a lot of bold claims, even disrespecting the talent here. I’m not sure if Tillman remembers what I said to him a few weeks ago when I met in the ring. I said that when I first came here I felt inferior seeing Tillman perform with guys who set the standard of LDFC such as Nest, Hana Song and Crimson Baroness. And here I am many months later put in the same marquee as Triple T which is a big deal to me.”
“But…” Mercy dragged out her but to pause for a moment. “Tillman has disputed certain things about me and it’s not like any other person who has faced me before in the past has. You see, he wonders how the fans continue to cheer me despite losing the Carolina Cup.”
Mercy shrugged her shoulders. “I can’t even claim that all the fans love me, I bet there are people who think I’m terrible. I can even bet that there are people who claim I’m not even good looking… Which those people are clearly blind.
Mercy grinned, winking into the camera at her slight dig.
“I don’t get why caring about my appearance is such a negative trait? So what if I dress feminine. The sad thing is that it’s men who think that women are only dressing for the attention and approval of them. How I present myself is the way I choose and every women around the world should do the same. If I want to wear a short dress, I’ll wear a damn short dress and I’m not ashamed of it.”
“You mentioned about Twitter wars and how you attempted to defend this place and you became the bad guy for it. If I recall, you’re the one who defended all ‘real’ women out there and how did that go for you? Since you know, I’m apparently not a real woman. Yet, you still don’t understand why people don’t like you.”
“The thing is that you care way too much what people think about you hence why the people have turned your back on you. I can’t speak for the people, but I think they want someone who doesn’t force feed them who and what they should think is good. If you were as good as you claimed, you wouldn’t be in this position. If you believe the machine is holding you back clearly you have misunderstood. The only thing holding you back is yourself.”
“Do you think I got things off a silver platter? I had to work extremely hard to come here. I made my way up from Australia to take a huge gamble with no way of predicting if I was going to make it. I could’ve simply failed and taken my ball back to Australia but here I am still here.”
Mercy extended out her arms to the side to present herself that she was indeed still here.
“Look at it this way, my first rivalry in LDFC was against Kellen Klein and where is he now? He certainly ain’t in LDFC no more. You and I have seen so many talent come and go and we are the select few who have made it through the long haul. Like it or not, Triple T… Even after our match is done At All Costs, I’m going to STILL be here. You’re not going to scare me away from MY dream of being a wrestler. You can act all entitled as you want, but At All Costs I’m going to stand up for my right of being here in LDFC. Win or lose, you’re not going to break my spirit. I will make you BEG for Mercy.”
Mercy looked through the camera lense to show the fire in her eyes until her face softened into a grin. “Oh, I will walk into the next Pride in a halter top and mini skirt…..”
Mercy smirked challenging Double T’s last words about her. “Just you watch me….”
The scene ended.
