(OOC: This was the best I could come up in like an hour. I didn't have to chance to proofread, so if nothing make sense, I apologise in advance.)
Wearing a white adidas wifebeater top, black tights and a black cap, the camera had caught Mercy outside of the LDFC facility. Even though Mercy wasn’t looking directly at the camera, you could sense the frustration through her body language. Mercy made small movements, feeling slightly uncomfortable a camera was filming her. It’s a strike contrast of Mercy’s earlier days in LDFC where she was happy to perk up for the camera. The camera moved in closer for a medium shot of Mercy standing outside of the building.
“Yeah…Nah.” Mercy begun with a typical Australian slang.
“I can’t apologise for my lack of thereof, I’m just not feeling my usual self. I guess after that loss for the Carolina Cup, I just feel deflated… frustrated. I keep trying to be positive, always chiming there is room for improvement and it’s all a life lesson. But this time, I just feel I’m not ‘good enough’ as a competitor. I’ve come all this far to lose that cup? I don’t know, mate.”
Mercy sighed. She leaned her back towards the building.
“Coming into this week's Pride will be my first match since that loss. I’m facing a new girl named Stoney Nymph. From what I’ve seen she wrestled Hana Song, a woman who is one of the toughest women currently in LDFC. Not many have overcome her venom, and Stoney isn’t one of them. But what can I say? Stoney is just a bright new rookie around here, she wants to get all the experience she can get. She may believe getting a win over me will set her up for superstardom and reach greater heights than I have.”
“What do I know? I guess I’m the easy target around here, I’m a girl with the boobs. I seriously can’t gain that credibility because girls who care about their looks solely aren’t interested in improving in the ring. But whatever, I don’t really want to fathom anymore about what I should or shouldn’t do. I’ve done my observing, listening, evaluating and now I must decide what’s best for me. ”
“When it comes to Pride, I have a lot of pent up frustration inside of me. Could it lead to my advantage or disadvantage? Who the blood hell knows. I just want to get into that ring and do what’s best for me. If Stoney has to be in my way? So be it, I’ll put in the fight and show her what it takes to become something in LDFC.”
“I’m not walking into this match blindly, I did my research and I can’t help to notice that one of Stoney Nymph’s illustratious nicknames is “Not a Slut”. You’re one special snowflake aren’t you? You might think I’m a slut because of how I present myself? It doesn’t work that way, but I guess most people in wrestling still live in 1756 with their excessive sexisim. Sad that women aren’t immune from their own sexism. Even so, what’s wrong with a woman enjoying sex anyway? This is the 2010’s.”
Mercy rolled her eyes. “So many people need to be educated in this topic, but alas, people rather sit blindly and spew random crap.”
Mercy leaned off the building now crossing her arms. By the looks of it, Mercy had showed a completely different side of herself. Mercy’s nice girl persona was diminishing with a fire being lit underneath her.
“I’m always the one who has the most to prove, but you know what? The only person I’m going to prove wrong is myself. I am god damn good enough.”
Mercy balled her fist up and hit the wall behind her with a thud ignoring the stinging pain. Mercy slid down the wall cradling herself to calm herself. The camera focused on her for a brief moment as the scene faded.
