The Crimson Baroness and Prince MacRear. Two of the biggest names in the Lion’s Den alone, and more of a tag team than the other two pairs of friends we beat to get here. This is what it has come down to. Brute Camp vs The Royals. Buttt, did anybody expect anything different?
Sure, there are people out there that didn’t think Mason and I could beat Emily Carter and Jensen Banks. But we diddd. I’m sure there were people out there that didn’t think we could be Pedro and Malo. But we diddd. You know who did believe we had what it takes to get here? Management.
You guys are already walking around like you have the belts strapped around your waist, like you run this company and you knowww things are just going to end up in your hands. But when did LDFC introduce an APEX Tag Team Championship? Was it after the two of you wrestled a couple of matches together? No, it was after the Brute Camp came and showed what they're capable of.
The fans loveee us, and we love them. We feed off of them, off of their energy, off of their emotions. You may not care about them, but they should matter to you too. Because they’re the reason you get paychecks. They’re the reason things happen around here. And if me and Mason hadn’t shown up when we did? Who knows if there’d be tag titles up for grabs this week. These titles were made for us. They were created for us. And this tournament?
Was created for this. Mason Mannion and Becky against The Crimson Baroness and Prince MacRear. And sure, it might have a littleee to do with the fact that we beat you a few weeks ago, but in the grand scheme of things? That doesn’t matter. All that matters is that the fans love us… and they love to hate you. Why do you think you got a bye in the first round?
You really think you pulled all the right strings? Keep on thinking that, but everyone else knows it’s because management wanted to make sure this match happened - and not even Bond believed you could make it all the way here. You needed an extra round to scout, an extra round to plan. But we didn’t. We know what you’re capable of, and we know what we’re capable of.
And to be honest? To us - me and Mason? It doesn’t matter that this match is against you, that it is this biggg money-making main event. We aren’t even looking at you as the Baroness and the Prince. We’re looking at you as the final two obstacles in our path, on our road to the APEX Tag Team Championships. Because you don’t matter - not in the way you’d like to.
As much as you wanttt to, as much as you crave that attention, we don’t care about you - either of you. We care about those two championship belts. And on Thursday?
We’re bringing them home.

The Brute Camp
Last year, Becky spent this day making sure everything was ready. She spent it getting her hair done and picking out a dress. Everything had to be perfect, because she had a boy to impress. And when she finally got to eat her cake and open her presents, everything felt hollow. Because her brother wasn’t there.
“Hey Bex,” this year, she was in her warm up gear - hair pulled back into a lazy pony, sweat glistening on every visible centimeter of her body. Her knuckles were bleeding a little, but she calmed her breathing and just kept hitting the bag. Until that voice lingered across the room, sending a shiver down her spine.
She spun around, eyes growing wide as her brother stood there, setting down a bag that draped over his shoulder. “Ollie!” She almost squealed, charging at him and throwing her arms around him full speed. He laughed, catching her and rubbing her back. “You came home!”
“Called the house. Baz said you weren’t spending your birthday at home this year but he gave me a number,” he spoke as she clung to him, rocking her back and forth. “Some kid said I could find you here.”
“Hey, uh- I’m some kid,” a voice came from the side, causing her to let go as they both turned, an equally-sweaty Mason stepping toward them.
“Ollie, this is my partner, Mason Mannion,” she smiled as he stepped forward, offering a hand, which Ollie grabbed tightly, squinting his eyes.
“You trust him?” He asked her, though he was still standing right there. Mason fidgeted uncomfortably.
“Out there? Yeah, with my life.”
