The Systemic are stood in a white dining room; there's nothing gloomy, nor depressing about it. It is immaculately maintained, a bit too sanitized if anything. Skylar II stands in the background, arms folded across his chest, while Skylar III paces in front of him.
"Identity."
A beat.
"There is no power without identity. There might be temporary fleeting success, make no mistake, but it isn't sustainable. Without an identity, we don't know what we're fighting for, and why we're fighting for it. Brother, what is your identity?"
"I am Skylar II"
She nods her head, and continues pacing.
"And I am Skylar III; there is absolutely no mistaking who we are, or what we fight for. Others might try to twist that purpose, but we remain resolute throughout. Our opponents, they are trying to find an identity, a bond through some facsimile of forced together kinship, nationality, and a mismatched team. But, what are they really?"
"Two square pegs; ones that know nothing of a real bond. Their greatest link is a flag that has produced nothing but failure in this Lion's Den."
Skylar III starts listing off names, counting along with her fingers.
"Credo, Gonzales, Malo; one fell at our hands, the others collectively do more harm to Mexican-Americans than a Trump presidency ever could. A pasty spanglish spewing fool from the northern woods, and Pedro Gonzales ... somehow the latter is the whiter sounding of the two. They have not found their place, they have not found success, because they're still scraping to find their identities. They will continue to try and do so against us, and they will fail. Because we have an identity, we have a purpose, and our purpose is not as benovelent as the Grand Skylar's."
Skylar II shakes his bearded head.
"Our purpose is to break you; just like we've broken anyone we get our hands on."
"We're not here to save you like Skylar Cloud is; she sees potential that we do not. We simply see meat puppets who could have saved themselves ridicule, the pain of continued disappointments, and the physical pain we are going to dish out if they had given Skylar Cloud her due respect. Our ties to her are ones of simple gratitude, because we know where we came from, we know what we were before she saved us, and we are going to use all of you to show the world our strength. It would be easy for us to divulge those details, to pull at the heartstrings, and share ever gutwrenching moment of pain you couldn't imagine, which has made us so strong. Not doing so makes it easy for us to be called sheep, to be called blind. But we make that choice, we let go of the past, resist the temptation to divulge that wisdom to focus on creating our future, because we have strength."
"Through Skylar Cloud we are strong enough to achieve anything, and achieve it we will."
Skylar III looks the camera dead on.
"So before you spew any hyperbole, before you step out into that ring against us ask yourselves. Do you believe in each other, truly believe in each other like we believe in our purpose? Because if you don't, if there are any cracks in that foundation, we will expose them, and then we will expose your motivations, your passions as fraudelent. Most importantly, you will be our message to Jensen Banks, an example that shows him what happens when true strength meets mediocrity head on. He's going to watch you get broken, see how powerless you were to stop it, just like his little friend was powerless to defend herself against Jimmy Page. Just like he will be powerless to stop what he brought upon himself, when he chose not to ..."
"Reach for the Skylar."
Fin.
