Mercy was invited to a girls night with her mentor, Delta Madison, a fellow wrestler for a company called GZWA. It didn’t hurt that Delta was engaged to Mercy’s oldest brother Elijah, it gave more of a reason to visit the blonde blue-eyed beauty. Instead of the usual girls night with Delta and Mercy discussing everything wrestling, there was another person who invited herself over - Delta’s cousin, Amiee Vaughan Widdel. Aimee was a striking contrast to Delta, long bronde hair and dark eyes. Mercy had never met Amiee but heard a little bit about how infamous she is. Amiee was once a wrestler but decided to retire a few years prior and is mostly an actress these days.
The night was young and Delta realised she forgot the most important ingredient for a girls night, some wine! Delta excused herself and left to the store to pick up a few bottles of the best possible wine. This left Mercy in an interesting predicament of being alone with Amiee Vaughan. Mercy appeared awkward, not too sure how to break the ice. Instead, Amiee did the next possible thing and shatter the whole damn ice.
“So… what is this?” Amiee waved her hand around towards Mercy’s chest.
Mercy was sitting at the island in the kitchen on a bar stool in Delta’s apartment. Mercy raised an eyebrow in confusion. “What do you mean?”
“Boobs, when and where did you get your boobs done? They look Ah-muzing, girl.” Amiee pointed at her chest, leaning towards Mercy over the island.
“Can I?” Amiee mused at Mercy’s breast to touch it.
Mercy shrugged her shoulders, unsure of what a proper response to someone asking to touch her boobs. Amiee went ahead and squeezed Mercy’s left boob. “Ahh, they are perfect.”
“Uhhh..” Mercy with unease begun to speak. “I got them when I was 20, it’s something I wanted to to get into some kind of fitness modelling.”
“Would’ve cost you a fortune, girl. But you did good. I’m just lucky I was blessed with a natural fuller rack.” Amiee adjusted her blouse to show her cleavage.
Mercy timidly agreed, picking at the carrots Delta had left nearby.
“So what’s your deal? Like, Delta has TOLD me so much. I’ve seen pictures and my god, what the fuck is in the gene pool in Australia? You and your siblings are all bang-worth, jesus christ girl. Like, I really need to get myself one of those Samoan mixed because christ…”
Mercy anxiety was through the roof, she wasn’t used to this speak about her and her family. She had to change the conversation to another direction.
“Aren’t you married?” Mercy blurted out.
“So? Just because I’m married doesn’t mean I can’t see myself with other people.” Amiee rolled her eyes at Mercy’s naivety. “Hun, I’ve known my husband since I was five years old. I’m at the point of my life where the only way we can rid of each other is whoever can murder first.”
Amiee chuckled at her morbid joke, whereas Mercy gave an opposite reaction of utter horror.
“Aw, you are so innocent.” Amiee tilted her head and pouted, cupping Mercy’s cheek her with hand.
“So what’s your deal anyway? Any boyfriends?.... Or girlfriends? I mean, look at you. You can’t be seriously single, or something?”
“Well…” Mercy cleared her throat. “I was in a relationship not long ago.”
Amiee raised her eyebrows, egging Mercy to continue. Mercy took a deep breath, uneasy bringing up the situation with her ex.
“We knew each other since we were young, sorta like you and your husband.” Mercy stopped herself, feeling her chest getting tight.
“Don’t tell me that bastard cheated on you?” Amiee frowned, leaning her hand on Mercy’s shoulder to comfort her.
“No…” Mercy drawn-out her answer. “He suffered an illness and he... passed.“
“Oh.” Amiee showed compassion resting her hand on top of her heart. “I’m so sorry.”
“It-it’s… okay.” Mercy’s voice cracked.
“Girl, you are very strong and you have handled it better than I could ever had. Like, back in 2005 I went to Las Vegas and married a male friend and annulled it and he died like two days later.”
“How… how did he?” Mercy queried in a daze.
“Overdose.” Amiee sharply answered. “I took it hard, I blamed it on me and went through a whirlwind of substance abuse and shit like that. Hardest years of my life.”
Mercy frowned. “Damn, I’m glad you overcome that stage of your life.”
“Eh… You live and grow. But enough of this depressing shit, why the fuck is Delta taking so long with our wine.” Amiee slammed her hand on the benchtop in protest.
“I know really! How could she forget about the wine.” Mercy laughed, to lighten up the mood.
Amiee shook her head. “See, this is why I always shit on her because she never does anything right.”
