ENTRANCE & ATTIRE
Entrance Music:
"Thunderstruck" by Steve 'n' Seagulls
Ring Attire:
See picbase
Ring Entrance:
The rhythmic banjo of Steve 'n' Seagull's cover of "Thunderstruck" begin to tune up as the overall clad Thunderbelly appeared from behind the curtain, crook in hand as he stomped his foot in rhythm to his own theme. Soon the jovial fans joined in, now clapping their hands in rhythm as well, Thunderbelly even beginning to tap his crook on the ground as well as the music gradually builds, slapping spoons, banging base pans, and even an accordion joining the banjos, finally culminating as the singer lets out:
"You've been.... Thunderstruck!"
Thunderbelly immediately throws a fist into the air, holding his hooked staff above his head as he begins to make his way toward the ring. Making sure to slap hands with any fans that reach out to him, Thunderbelly finally approaches the ring, hopping up onto the apron and quickly ascends the outside of the nearest turnbuckle, standing with one foot triumphantly perched on the top turnbuckle as he holds his mighty crook high once again to the crowd's approval, the froggy sheperd jeaping down from the turnbuckle into the ring
CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base:
Estonian Farmerfrog
Gimmick:
Thunderbelly is an extremely friendly, jolly, former Nordic warrior, claiming to hale from the mythical Asgaard, but has now turned to the life of a simple Sheep herder. He still, for some reason, has the appearance of a frog.
Bio:
To say the person known as "Thunderbelly" is an odd specimen would be an understatement. Thunderbelly claims to have once been a guardian of the fabled Asgaard, home of the Gods of Norse Mythology. Having awoken in the strange land of "Broxton, Okalahoma" the Nordic warrior claims of having no knowledge as to how he came to be in such a place, nor what has become of his home. Thunderbelly being the person that he is, however, has yet to let this deter him, as his lust for combat has led him to the world of professional wrestling. Working very obscure, minor promotion for most of his short career, he managed to build up something of a reputation for himself purely base don his odd appearance (even by pro wrestling standards) and overly friendly personality.
He eventually found his way to FGA and SSWA, and despite having a strong following, didn't do to well as a competitor, and quietly vanished from both promotions within a few short months of debuting. Thunderbelly wouldn't reappear in the public eye until several months later, where he revealed to have moved to Valais, Switzerland, having abandoned his title of "The Storm Bearer" in shame, and instead became a Shepherd. Despite having retired his warhammer, however, the itch for combat is one Thunderbelly cannot seem to ignore forever, and has returned to FGA, perhaps looking for redemption.
