NYC DVD TapingResults for 04/25/12 From Basketball City New York City, NY((The camera shoots to outside of the arena where a black Dodge Charger pulls to a stop. The engine cuts off and the driver's side door opens. Michael Tomkins emerges from the car in a brand new Armani suit. He quickly checks himself before approaching the camera.)) Tomkins: You know, I am insulted. I busted my ass to make this company what it is. I worked every show, collecting wins. As Blaine Harrison rightly said; I was the man. Scratch that! I am the man. Suddenly, two losses and things have changed? That's Bullshit! Blaine, wherever you are, you will hear me, and you will listen. I'm going to take it all back. My top spot. My main event status. My Championship. Quote me on that. Sooner or later we will face. Until that day comes, I will make my point loud and clear. Who ever makes the decisions around here better give me my damn title shot! Or else I can't be held accountable for what I do.((Michael Tomkins flashes a quick smug look before turning his back on the camera and heading back into the building.)) [ FADE OUT ]

(( The scene cuts to the interviewing area backstage. Standing in front of the FGA backdrop is Justice Young, along with The Harvard Connection. )) Justice: Standing with me right now are both members of The Harvard Connection, Preston Blake and Chandler Scott. Gentlemen, tonight the two of you face off against Blaine Harrison and Micky O'Reilly in a tag team match. What are your thoughts going into tonight's event? Chandler: Our thoughts are very simple. The last time Preston and I teamed up, it was in a match against Blaine. Blaine was teaming with a partner that he didn't exactly see eye to eye with. And what happened? He LOST. And tonight? Well, Blaine is teaming with yet another man that he doesn't see eye to eye with. Tonight, Blaine is teaming with yet another man that wants to be in the position that he's in. And just like last time, Blaine and his partner will fall to not just the superior athletes. But to the superior tag team, as well.(Chandler cackles while Madison pats him on the back.) Preston: It's just like Chandler said, We're both talented athletes in our own right. You heard Blaine say it himself. I pushed him to the limit. Now granted, he forgot to mention the part where he was barely able to escape from that match with his belt in tow. But I digress. We are both technically sound wrestlers in one on one action. You put us together and you get the best tag team going. Now Blaine, I know you say you're going to let bygones be bygones. I heard you say that you're willing to let the past stay in the past. But what about Micky? What about him?
What do you say, Micky? Are you going to let the past be the past? Think about it. You're one of the few who have beaten Blaine recently. And if my memory serves correct, which it always does, you were the last man to pin Blaine in the middle of the ring. And yet have you gotten your championship match? Have you gotten your title shot? You have your three wins. You're near the top, if not at the top, of the contenders list. Yet where is your title shot? I'll tell you where it is, Micky. It's nowhere to be found, because Blaine is ducking you like the coward that we all know that he is. You can put a smile on your face. You can put on the facade that everything is right between you two. But as he reaches out to you for a tag, won't you be tempted to give him a good punch to the face? When he's crawling across the ring, desperately looking to tag out, won't you be tempted to just hop off the apron and walk away. I know I would. If we were in your position, that's what we'd do.
Chandler: Micky, we know you're not the sharpest knife in the drawer. And we know that the majority of the time, you like to show up drunk out of your mind. But tonight, do the right thing. What we're telling you, it's the sobering truth. Do the ring thing, Micky, and walk away. Walk away and let The Harvard Connection finish off Blaine, once and for all...(( The Harvard Connection snickers as they all walk off out of view. Justice just turns and shakes his head at them. ))) [ FADE OUT ]

Tomkins: My adoring fans. I won't take up too much of your time. I just felt it my obligation to right a wrong. You see, Mr. Cruz over there announced the words "Main Event," so it's only right that you all saw me. Now that you've all seen me, in the main event, you've all gotten your moneys worth. With that, I will leave you with this tedious encounter filled with mediocrity. I'll be going home. Good night.
The Raise-the-Bar-Superstar waves to a louder chorus of boos before smiling and turning back behind the curtain...
