ENTRANCE & ATTIRE
Entrance Music:
"Trillmatic" by A$AP Mob
Ring Attire:
Mason will wear black-and-pink, black-and-silver, or black-and-blue wrestling attire sporting the logo for #BRUTAL Apparel. He is a firm believer of the amateur-style wrestling singlet with the inclusion of knee pads and old-school black pro boots, with the laces usually matching the secondary color of his attire. Mason will always tape his hands and wrists. Sometimes he sports a black elbow pad on his left (dominant) arm, and sometimes will sport a sweatband around his head (again-- matching the secondary color of his attire) though this usually comes off during matches.

CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base:
John DeLuca
Gimmick:
Mason is a complicated soul in the wrestling world. Though often loud, opinionated, and obnoxious (especially to his longtime peers), Mason toes the line, seldom ever crossing it, and maintains a warm relationship with the fanbase and multiple other stars. He has a strong conscience and soft heart, often defined by the loyalty shown to his (more established) friends, such as LDFC’s own Becky. His extreme attitude has led some to believe that he lacks the self-confidence that he often tries to portray. Mason, for lack of a better term, has been overcompensating for his own flaws since long before LDFC.
Bio:
Mason was born Mason Angelo Law in Talca, Chile on November 1, 1996, the first and only child of Marlon and Angela Law. Though not of Chilean ancestry, his parents (both originally from Toronto, Ontario) co-owned two hotels in the city of Talca. Mason spent several years of his early childhood there before his father became ill… and after his passing on the Valentine’s Day of 2000, Mason and his mother quietly moved to Baltimore, Maryland in the United States where the widowed Mrs. Law took on a managerial role in a chain of Marriott-Courtyard Hotels. It was also during this transition that they quickly befriended the Harrison extended family and Mason developed a keen interest in sports-- more specifically, the world of wrestling.
In mid-November of 2002, his mother was involved in a collision involving multiple other vehicles during morning rush hour. Pronounced dead during her overnight stay in the hospital, six-year-old Mason was temporarily placed in the care of his maternal grandfather in Montreal, Quebec, before being adopted by his mother’s closest friends, twenty-five-year-old newlyweds John and Jacinda Mannion (née Harrison) and moving back to Maryland in the summer of 2003. Throughout the remainder of his years in elementary school, Mason would turn to wrestling as an escape, both as a hobby and as a practice, eventually being encouraged by his elder Harrison cousins to pursue it.
Though a competent amateur wrestler in his own right, Mason was often cut from teams in middle school and high school simply due to his “careless” attitude and inability to take direction. It was during his high school years that he became closer with Evan Harrison (Evan Envi) and was directly introduced to the professional wrestling business, even appearing on-screen in APW (Action Packed Wrestling) in 2013 shortly after his high school graduation, and later in SCW (Sin City Wrestling) in 2014. It was between the two live appearances that Mason began to make the physical changes necessary to maintain the lifestyle of a professional wrestler. He made his debut on the mid-atlantic independent scene in the January of 2015, finding only very minor success before wrestling his last match only three months later after suffering a foot injury. Though only expected to miss two months of action, Mason stepped away from competition altogether, eventually seeking the guidance of former World Champion, Rex Evans. Training under Rex Evans and occasionally Ashlyn De Luca (herself, a student of former World Champions Logan Alexander and Aubrey J. Parker) since late July, Mason has rebuilt the confidence and conditioning necessary to re-enter the sport and is planning on doing so at a higher level than ever.

Ring Entrance:
“Trillmatic” hits the PA system to a loud pop from the audience. Pink lights strobe throughout the arena for a moment before finally a single spotlight focuses on the curtain. Mason Mannion emerges through it, back already turned to the ramp and the camera as he backs out into the crowd, arms extended to his sides. Turning his head, he shoots a wink toward the audience before turning, making a display of presenting himself and the APEX Tag Team Championship toward the nearest camera which follows him toward ringside. Mason yells for the cameraman to “slide!”, and Mason turns, sprinting into the ring… and the cameraman sprints after, following, sliding alongside Mason, who rushes toward the turnbuckles, extending his arms again as he looks out into the cheering audience, music finally fading as he climbs down from the corner.
