The sound of leather on leather can be heard echoing through the LDFC training facility. It’s become a familiar sound ever since Third Strike. Every night since then Triple T has found himself at this very spot hitting this very bag. When he’s not here he’s home re-watching the match. He practically knows it by heart now. Especially the ending…Skyfall…kick in the head…Nest is still champ…Skyfall…kick in the head…Nest is still champ…Sweat is pouring from the leader of the T-Unit as he pounds away at the bag. Finally at the point of exhaustion he stops, resting his head on the bag. 

TRIPLE T: You ever tell yourself you did all you could? You ever try to convince yourself that regardless of the outcome you did your best? It’s funny cause that’s what I’m supposed to do right now. I’m supposed to proclaim that regardless of the outcome I did my best. I’m supposed to have that “I’ll get em next time” mentality but the fact of the matter is…I don’t have it in me.

T walks away from the bag and sits on a nearby bench. He grabs a towel and wipes his brow.  

 

TRIPLE T: Sometimes I think it would have been easier if I was the one that got pinned. That way at least I can say I got beat. But that’s not the case here. I had the match, I had the win. Hana Song pinned after a Skyfall…but then…in triple threat fashion…the third party…Nest was there to take it from me.


Do I blame him…no I can’t. I mean I probably would have done the same thing. But that doesn’t take the sting out of it…not one bit.


So congrats Nest…you did it again. You made a way out of no way and you are still the champ. And me…I’m starting from square one I’m working my way back to the top. So Nest please do me a favor and keep fighting. Keep representing that title to the fullest because eventually I will get another show and I want…no I NEED you to be the champion when I do.

But until then I have to face Jason Bronco. The rookie sensation. The guy that the trainers are putting their money on. The only issue I have with you being the “Future” is that I”ve got that spot locked son! You caught me at a bad time Bronco cause I’m not in the shake hands and play nice mood! You are looking at the man that should be the LDFC APEX Champion. The man that knows that everyone is wondering now…”Is he really good enough?” “Is he really as good as we thought?” Well I’m going to prove that I am that damn good and that I should still be at the top. Nest won the match but he didn’t beat me! And Hana is still catching her breath!


Jason Bronco I wish you the best of luck. I hope you come ready to work cause I’m gonna show you what real main event status looks like. I’m going to show you that you time isn’t here yet! I am still the PRIDE of the LDFC!!! The T-Unit isn’t dead! And you Bronco will not get in my way of being the APEX champion!

With that Tillman tosses the towel to the growd stands up and marches out of the training room.
