As Simple As a Name

[Keegan Hightower]

Oh poor Keegan Hightower losing another match! Poor Keegan Hightower getting his butt kicked. Oh poor Keegan Hightower starting to lose his touch. Oh poor Keegan Hightower now wondering how he is going to get back on the right side of things. Oh poor Keegan Hightower not being as good as that stupid little Jensen Banks. 

Keegan Hightower slams his hand on the table that he was sitting on. He head a black wife beater on that showed off his arms. His hair was up in a ponytail as he looked deep into the camera.  

Of course I went into 3rd Strike thinking that I was going to win. Of course when I got that arena and looked at all of the idiots that were there I told them I would win. Of course when I looked across that ring and saw Jensen Banks I thought I was going to win. I mean look at me see the chiseled abs, the great arms, the great hair and the piercing eyes that I have. I’m the hottest man or hell wrestler in LDFC but it doesn’t work when I keep on losing right? I start to lose that luster that I had when I got into this company and now I have to find it again. I have to look deep down and find that grove don’t I? 

He shoots the award winning smile as he keeps looking deep into the camera. 

Well, it is what it is to be honest. Am I pissed that I lost? Of course. But I haven’t lost any sleep at the end of the day. Why? Well simply put I know who I am and I know that sooner or later I will get back to where I was. I will beat people and people will talk about me I just feel bad for the soul that I have to face this week in Aric Keaton.  

He hops off of the table and starts to walk around the room a little bit never losing eye contact with the camera or the smile that he had on his face. 

I haven’t heard much about Aric Keaton to be fair. Now he might be good in that ring or he might not but all I know is that I have to face him. All I know is that I have to stand up to him and have a good match with him and get my hand raised. 

It is nothing against Aric at all, well it kind of is because he spells his name with an A instead of an E. I mean who goes around the world saying my name is Aric with an A. Really? I wonder if that makes him proud that he has a special different name. Does it make him smile when he says that? Does it make him feel all warm and fuzzy inside? Who knows it might but it is kind of annoying when you think about it. But it is what it is. Of course the name doesn’t matter at the end of the day. Or does it? 

Well let’s look at it real quick what name would you rather see in bright lights on the marquee? A name like Keegan Hightower or a name like a name Aric with an A Keaton? See kind of a simple answer. Then you can look at it as whose face would you want to see on the promotional poster? Mine…or his? 

He winks at the camera and laughs a little bit. 

It is simple, and that is why I Keegan Hightower will be able to be Aric with an A Keaton when I face him in the middle of that ring. I’m better looking, I have a better name and although I really haven’t studied what he has done in that ring I can safely assume that I’m better than him in that ring. Of course maybe the record doesn’t show it as of late but I know what I did when I first came into this company, which wasn’t too long ago and I know I can reach those heights again. It is simple I know what I want and he stands in my way. 

So what will happen is I will come down to that ring and I will look him in his ugly face and I will beat him so bad that he is going to have to change his name from Aric to Eric and be a real man. Now, if you will excuse me I have to get a tan or something for this match. 

He smiles as he walks past the camera he turns and winks at it as he walks out of the room.
