Kellen Klein had the widest smile on his face as he laid in bed. The last few days have been amazing. It was definitely a great re-bound from getting tricked by Skylar Cloud in the battle royal to crown a first ever Old North Champion. He was so sure that he had one, but some bitch had to go and out-smart him. Had things not have changed a day later then that failure would probably have still bothered him. Fortunately, his remaining girlfriend, Heather Skinner, decided that she wanted to roll and called her incredibly liberated drug dealer to kick her down. With his ex, Heather Chalmers, doing anything kinky was a tug of war. It seemed as though she was open to a threesome if he won the gold, but it took him forever to get to that point. He knew Abby, the cute drug dealer, for two minutes and she was already pulling her pants off, totally down to clown. The three of them have been hooking up ever since, sometimes. While he still wanted that title, he was a much happier boy than he probably had any right to be.
He leaned back with his left arm around Heather and his right arm around Abby. Heather's head was resting on his chest as Abby was busy packing a bowl. All three were sweaty and needed a break from the rapid fucking they had been doing. Heather hit multiples and Abby seemed to be quite pleased at a certain point. Though, he didn't know if either was his doing, it certainly didn't matter to him. What did matter is that he finally got what he wanted. Though, he knew that this little 'Intercourse Vacation' had to end at some point. Kellen Klein had a loss he absolutely needed to bounce back from and he did not even know who his opponent was this week. The sex helped him clear his mind, but he had to get back to work and prepare for whoever his next challenge was. For that to happen, he needed to know exactly what he was facing at the next edition of Pride. Part of him thought that he would still be in Aric Keaton, Mercy Williams territory of the first couple of matches. There was nothing wrong with that, but he felt he was doing better than those two who were 50/50 with their performance. Klein had yet to be pinned and being eliminated from a battle royal was not exactly a loss. He did feel that he has earned the right to be considered as a cut above those two, but you never know if management will notice these things or not.
“Babe,” Kellen said speaking to the only Heather he had left. “Can you grab my cell phone for me? I need to see what Lion's Den schedule me for.”
“Sure thing, baby.” Heather turned to the night stand where Kellen's phone was and handed it to him.
“Thanks.” Klein immediately went to the main website and quickly browsed the newest card. Obviously, he began at the bottom where he had been since debuting, but he was not there this time. His buddies Aric and Mercy were still there. In his mind, he waved good bye to them as climbed further up the card. May they have a good life not putting in an effort and taking true criticisms to heart ...with showing no improvement whatsoever. However, Kellen was surprised that he took such a leap further up the card. Hell, he was fighting a man who was in the main event of 3rd Strike, Brody Watts. He guessed that he was moving up in the world. If it was even possible, his smile grew wider.
“What you looking at?” Abby asked sitting up Indian style on the bed before lighting up her piece and taking in that sweet, sweet bud.
“Ah, just saw that I am moving up in the wrestling world. Maybe people did notice how good my performance was.” Kellen leaned his head back confidentally as he passed the phone to Abby as she exhaled her smoke.
“Dude, how are you not pissed?” The scantily clad pot head sounded dissapointed, but he had no idea why that would be.
“Why would I be angry? It looks like I am being rewarded.”
“Nah, dude.” Abby shook her head at how naive Klein is. “They are trying fuck you over, like HARDCORE. You can just tell by this booking that that management is annoyed with how well you did. That whole battle royal was intended for ShinMa to grab the Old North title and you fucked that up for them.”
“But I am higher up the card and facing a top talent.” Kellen was confused by the accusations that Abby was making.
“Yeah man, they are putting you against a guy that they assume is going to destroy you.” Abby exhaled smoke before talking in an almost robotic voice due to the strain of the smoke on her lungs. “And you can tell that you are being moved up like super begrudgingly. You exceeded expectations and now they are mad. As a wise man once said, It Is A Trap.”
Kellen looked at the card confused as she handed the phone back to him. “I guess maybe ...they could be.”
“You need to do something about that, dude. Y'know, cut a scathing promo on them, letting them and Brody know that you are not going to take that crap.”
“What am I supposed to say?” Kellen asked confused.
“Here, quote this...” Abby grabbed a pen from the night stand and wrote something on his arm.
