"To think that at one point, you actually liked me."
(Emily Carter smirked, thinking back to a time when The Crimson Baroness appeared cordial to her. Our video has opened to Emily inside the LDFC facility. She’s sitting on a stool in front of the LDFC backdrop. The camera slowly zooms in as she continues.)
"… Or at least I think you liked me. History has shown us that you’re quite the strategist. So maybe way back then, you thought you could use me as a pawn, much like you’re using Valcone and Brody now. But that changed back in July, didn’t it? What was it you called me when I showed up? A “goody two shoes spoiled little brat that put on her innocent smile and sucked up to the trainers”? You, of all people, talking about putting on an innocent smile. Heh. During my very first week of training, your attitude towards me soured like that."
(Emily snaps her fingers)
"So why the attitude when the new girl showed? I don't know. But you definitely felt some type of way, going so far as to claim that I was trying to show you up. But Baroness, I was simply there to prove that I belonged amongst that group of trainees. If you felt like you were being shown up, if you felt that insecure, then maybe you should have worked a little harder. But then again, why bust your butt in training…"
(Emily takes out a photo and holds it up to the camera)
"When you can always hike up your skirt and show a little..."
"… allegedly."
(Emily tosses the photo.)
"Ever since that day, you’ve had a bitter taste in your mouth when it comes to me. I know for a fact that me befriending Katie Kensington didn’t do me any favors. But I didn’t care about being in your good graces. Seeing the way that you lashed out at Katie and seeing the way you treated others around here, that let me know everything I need to know about you. But even after you defeated Katie, that wasn’t enough for you. You still had it out for me and you were going to do everything in your power to make my life hell. Like at 2nd Impact, when you lied to Chris Bond and said that I hurt your shoulder, getting my debut match cancelled… or you coming down for commentary and intentionally costing me the match against Valcone… to attacking my other friends… all the way to now, where you’ve once again lied, telling everyone that I’ve corrupted Donnie and weaseled my way into his inner circle… or lying to Valcone’s face, telling him that I talked Donnie into stealing his mask."
(Emily shakes her head with disgust.)
"As I look back on all of these events, it becomes crystal clear. You felt threatened by me from the very first day that I walked through those doors. And as the days turned to weeks and the weeks turned to months, those feelings were justified. As much as I love Katie, I wasn’t going to just stand there and take your bullying. I wasn’t going to let you run me out of LDFC like Katie and Johnny did. For the first time in your miserable life, you finally met someone that wasn’t intimidated by you. You met someone that was going to get back up after you knocked them down. You met someone that was going to call you out on your crap, unlike a certain head trainer that constantly looks the other way and twiddles his thumbs."
(Emily rolls her eyes.)
"And let’s just get that out of the way. Not once have I said that there was anything physical going on with you two. All I said was that he lets you get away with murder because he’s got a thing for you. However, if there’s something you’d like to admit to the camera, please, we’re all ears."
"I told you before that if you had a problem with me, this could have been settled in the ring. But instead, you spent weeks mocking me because I wasn’t added to the roster. Since my addition, you’ve done nothing but lie, cheat, steal and run. Just like you ran against Sherry Diamond in SCW. Just like you’ve ran and hid behind Bond. Just like you’re using Brody and Valcone to hide behind now. You say you’re far from done with me? Quite the contrary. At 3rd Strike, this ends once and for all. You wont be able to hide for long. There won’t be anywhere to run. You won’t be able to lie your way out of this one. At 3rd Strike, I’m knocking you out, you petty, insecure, covetous witch!"
