Our video opens up to Jensen Banks (who was known as Jensen Walczak before going through with a ring name change. Banks is seen right outside of his condo in Gibsonville, North Carolina, watching his godson run around the day after Halloween.
"He's still hyper as all hell. May have let him eat too much sugar."
Jensen then turns and smiles at the camera before he officially begins.
"Damn, it's almost that time again, ain't it? Been a few weeks since I've been in an LDFC ring, but best believe, I haven't been sitting around not doing a damn thing. Instead, I've been improving, trying to get better at what I do so that I can finally achieve my first win under this company's banner. Hell, I even picked up a guest spot over in AIR so that I could see how all those other guys work. Might even do some lucha libre in this upcoming match. But one thing I have definitely improved on?
Tag team wrestling."
Banks takes a seat on the steps leading to the condo and lets out a sigh as Gage comes racing through the shot before he disappears again, getting another chuckle out of Jensen.
"Since I've started over at AIR, I've only wrestled in tag team matches and to be honest, I've been quiet freaking good at them. My girlfriend Kenna and I now have gotten two straight wins over there and have zero losses, and are now one step closer to becoming the first ever AIR tag team champions. She and I? We’ve known each other for a bit and we do really well as a team and I have no doubt in my mind that Emily can be just as good of a partner with me as Kenna is.
Emily and I have known each other since the first ever tryout camp that Lion’s Den FC held. We were the two survivors of the camp and while she’s sorta ahead of me at the moment, class wise, I’ve worked with her more than anyone else in this place. So, as far as I’m concerned, the team of Emily Carter and Jensen Banks could very well have some team chemistry that could sign against...uh...La Connexion Française? Is that how you say it?”
Jensen shakes his head.
“I didn’t do too well in French class. Was never really focused due to...”
Jensen’s voice trails off as he looks at his godson out of the shot, before back at the camera with a small smirk.
“..reasons. Let’s call them reasons.
But I don’t need to know French in order to enter that ring with Emily and kick some butt. I don’t need to know French to come into that ring and pick up my first win in LDFC. I just need to know how to use what I’ve been taught in order to beat the team of Emmett Faurve and Jean Paul Green.
Now, I don’t know much about either of you, but I would think, judging by the team dynamic you two seem to exhibit, that Faurve is the brain and Green is the brawn. Faurve seems like the type that basically comes up with the game plan and Green seems like the guy that executes it.
Unfortunately, that dynamic can only work for so long before to meets its inevitable doom. For you guys, it comes a lot earlier than most teams sharing this dynamic would because you face a pair of people that don’t have that dynamic. You’re facing a team that helps strengthen each other’s strong points and hide the weak ones.
Emmett can shout out instructions all he wants. A Bank Shot to the jaw takes away the brain and then the brawn is forced to work with what he has and what he has is a temper, if I’m hearing correctly.”
Another smirk from Banks.
“I heard through the grapevine that ya are a bit of a hothead and believe me when I tell ya that I love working with hotheads. I love working with ‘em because they always lose their cool at some point. If someone remains persistent enough against a hothead, they always lose their cool, and that’s when it is the perfect time to strike.
La Connexion Française are the new guys in this joint, but I don’t care. These two clowns stand in my way of getting my first ever win here. And I’m going to win this match alongside Emily Carter.
You can BANK ON IT.”
The video then comes to a close.
