The return of The Young Hit Wonder

Last day of training with Stefan. Chula Vista, California. Saturday 17th October.

In the last few weeks of training, inside of the wrestling and MMA gym are two guys wrestling each other with one of them being a well known name in the wrestling business Stefan Raab and there's a little guy who's been out for quite sometime in wrestling, Shawn Young. Shawn is giving everything to his mentor with his high-flying moves which he goes on the turnbuckle and hits his Young Hit Star Press as Shawn gets up from the mat and sees Stefan applauds him for his efforts in the ring. They both got out of the ring and sat down on the bench in a quiet gym and Shawn looking nervous about the upcoming match and both take a drink of their bottles of water for Shawn to speak.

Shawn Young: “I'm not sure I'm ready for this match Stefan. I'm nervous.”

Stefan Raab: “Trust me Shawn, you are ready. I know you're nervous mainly because of not knowing much about Malcolm, but I got information about him now. He's a guy that's not had many matches like you and he's had matches against two girls, Violet Bloom in this Pro Wrestling Project event and Macy Dover in the Rookies X Cup along with Achilles in Pro Wrestling Project. He lost to the two girls and won against Achilles, but don't doubt him being an easy opponent because he could surprise you and win.”

Shawn Young: “What is he like as a person?”

Stefan Raab: “He seems to be quite arrogant and full of himself. He's also been trained by a top star called Angela Fortin, but unlike you, he refuses to take her advice. I don't know why, but that's what I've read about him, along with violence he said he'd put on Violet and Achilles.”

Shawn nods and it got a bit of nerves out of him with a smile on his face and speaks.

Shawn Young: “It shows clearly he's only in the business for himself and he sounds like Terry Jones.”

Stefan Raab: “Yes he does. Now I want you to go home and rest because you got a big match coming up and I've seen you train very hard lately. Everyone you train with are gonna watch you wrestle in the Frontiers To The Future event and no matter what happens, win or lose, we'll all be proud of you on trying you're best against Malcolm. Good luck.”

Shawn Young: “Thank you.”

Stefan pats him on his back and does some training of his own, while Shawn went to the changing rooms to have a shower and after he puts his normal clothes on, he takes his bag and walks out of the gym with his head held up high and goes straight to Seattle, Washington to his parents house where he went straight to sleep.

“I'm so excited to wrestle again because it's been a few months the last time I was in the ring against Outlaw at Epic Wrestling Organisation Underground brand where we tore the house down and to date, he's been the only wrestler to defeat me. I got into the business because I had a crash in the Moto three class and I broke my wrist so you can say I'm pretty jumpy sort of guy which I am. Then I went to a wrestling school where I thought I could get training, but they kicked me out because of my size. Then I saw Stefan walking in the street and I started chatting to him about how I wanted to be a wrestler and how I got kicked out of a wrestling school and he took me to his wrestling gym and decided to be my mentor.

I'll talk about Malcolm Xaba. I find from watching his matches yesterday very talented and has a very bright future ahead of him. I know what it's like to have lost a debut match, believe me it hits you like rock bottom, but I admire that you keep coming back to fight and prove people wrong. You came back from the loss to win against Achilles, even if you cheap shotted him to win, but you still won and it shows there's a lot of potential about you out there.

What I disagree on is the way you insult you're opponents. You see Malcolm, I'm not gonna stoop to you're level, but you really should be taking lessons from Angela on teaching you some respect towards the wrestlers in this business. I learned a lot from Stefan's mistakes who was like you in the beginning of his career, but he's changed now and I believe if he can change, you can as well.

I read that you're like this because of living in poverty in South Africa? Yes we can understand that might be the reason why you react the way you do and it's not easy to live in poverty to get into this business and I respect as well to get into wrestling to wrestle than doing illegal drugs, but do you think it's gonna make things better by insulting people? It's gonna make things worse, especially the only person I lost to in my career is Outlaw. Every other wrestler I've been put in front of me, I've defeated fair and square without using weapons or other ways to cheat to win.

I guess I can see you insulting me and not only you insult them, but you insult the fans as well. You know where they put their hard earned money into watching us wrestle. I don't think you have the heart to be in this business, especially you decide to ignore Angela, but I suggest you listen to her because every mistake you make can cost you and can make you improve as a wrestler.

I'm taking you as a threat because of the experience you've gained in Pro Wrestling Project and the Rookies X Cup in Hard Knox Wrestling, but I think you'd lose focus on me and show off. I'm here because I'm a free agent right now and I'm looking for somewhere to wrestle and improve myself as a wrestler, hoping that a company will sign me to a contract, possibly even here at the Lion's Den if they like what they see in the ring and I honestly don't see you want to improve on you're wrestling skills. I see that you want to be violent and vicious towards me right?

I will never ever fight with violence and being vicious towards my opponents because it's the skills of what you do in the ring that's important. Violence solves nothing in this world and I don't hurt people on purpose. I'm believes having the right amount of skills wins you over. Maybe it's you're mouth that tends to get you to lose matches.

I believe you could surprise me and you might've changed, but I highly doubt it and I feel you're gonna continue the way you are. I haven't done much in this business yet because of the fact of the EWO company closing before I could get a chance to make an impact and I was in a number one contender match for the EWO Underground title, but I lost to Outlaw because he was the better man that night. Didn't make a single excuse because I saw the truth of my loss and I learned from it.

I feel if you lose to me, you'd make up a bunch of excuses of the loss being a fluke which would be fine since I get called a fluke by a few people, not learning from a loss at all but I'm gonna make you realise that my skills and making the fans go home happy is the goal I must do along with being known again and no matter what happens, I'm putting everything right at you just so I can show you what wrestling is about and show the world just what this Young Hit Wonder can do with the training I've been doing a lot recently, it's gonna benefit to do what I can to win because I came to the event to win either by pin fall or submission, showing you a thing or two how I wrestle fair along with wrestling for the fans as well.

This Young Hit Wonder is gonna return in style and give the fans something to talk about again and I'm gonna bring everything I have against you, showing the world I want to become a champion someday and I will win because I have the skills and confidence to do so. All I have left to say is good luck because you're gonna need a lot of it in this match with me with this jumping jack flying all around you to win another match.”

notes; This might be rusty due to not really RPed as Shawn since April of this year and I'm trying to get back into this character again. I wanted to do this event because not many people have seen what I can do as a face character and I wanted to show everyone what I can do and hopefully find a fed to RP with Shawn with. I wish all the best of luck to Malcolm handler and thank you FGA staff for letting me be apart of this one off event and letting me show all of you how much I've changed and to get Shawn back to where he was before EWO fed closed down.
