*Burp
Kellen Klein followed that lovely declaration up by throwing his beer can behind him. He then began to circle the young man who he was sparring with. This no named indy person was a guest of LDCF in hopes to be a future prospect. He had no idea what he was getting into when he volunteered to train with the man who was going to make his Pride debut in a couple of days. There were two ladies at his side who he kept making out with ...also as practice. How was this man even a wrestler? The man known as Kellen Klein nodded for the blonde in his entourage to ring the bell. The moment that bell hit, this young indy charged toward Klein. Klein side stepped him and then hit a German Suplex. Kellen sat up and looked toward the darker haired girlfriend.
“Babe, has there been any word from Mr. Keaton?”
“No, I guess he has been more concerned with his real career. I don't know.”
The young man who the internet had been going crazy for and hoped would make it to FGA one day was slowly getting up after that brutal move by Klein. As he does, Klein just kips up and nails him with a spinning forearm dazing him.
“That isn't too much of a surprise, but it is insulting. His hobby is my career. The fact that he thinks that he can come in here, put in half his effort, and win because of who he knows, as well as his intelligence, is shitting on the faces to everyone who laces up their boots.”
Kellen slammed his elbow into the head of the young man once more before spinning around and putting him in a headlock.
“Didn't you start out the same way? Your goal was going to play for the NFL, but that didn't really pan out.”
“Firstly, ouch babe,” Kellen began with the victim still in the headlock. “Secondly, yeah, that was a dream I had, but now that I am here, I am here. My focus is one hundred percent on being the best I can be HERE! Why did Mr. Keaton join? Money. The only reason he showed up because a friend told him that IF he won a championshiop, he would be rich beyond his wildest dreams. I am not going to debate whether that is true or not, what I will say is that I am going to prove that any promise Troy made to him was wrong. Winning a title is not easy and to say it is, AGAIN, disrespectful to every champion that has ever held a belt. I KNOW it takes not just skill, luck, and charisma, but determination. I am willing to use all of that. WHY? Not so I can buy a mansion, or several nice cars. Any REAL athlete will tell you that those things are nice, but fleeting. Do you think Jordan was okay with losing a game because he could afford whatever he wanted? No. A loss ate him up. You know who was okay with losses and all that mattered were his material items and his fame? Dennis Rodman. Look where he is in sports history. Look at his career. For real athletes, money is perk, not the motivation.”
He finally let his opponent out of the headlock before whipping him into the ropes. Once he came back, Kellen hits him with a powerbomb.
“I am an athlete. He is a gold digging doofus.”
Klein comes off the ropes with a leg drop to a man that many geeks in the IWC called the next big thing.
“I am not saying that you are wrong,” the dark haired lady said “but he isn't just talk, he has a win against Mercy Williams and Danny Hall.”
“...and that is bitchin' for him ...but he beat the equivalent of the other Heather and a guy who didn't really bother to show up mentally. These were three people who did not understand the importance of making a debut in LDFC, he just happened to be the one who cared the most. Which is a sad statement about those three more than it says anything about his prowess as a competitor. I know how important this match is. I know that it sets my momentum; my path in the company. I am not going to waste this opportunity by being beaten by someone like Aric!
"
In his intensity, he realized that he knocked the wind out of his opponent and helped him up.
“Sorry about that bro, I got a little to into what I was doing. You okay?”
