Mercy Williams perched herself on the second step on the bottom of a rustic stairwell, with her left leg on the floor and her right leg bent on the first step. Mercy looks into the camera with an eyebrow raised with a leer on her face when she flipped her balayage blonde hair to one side with her elbows leaning on her bare legs. Mercy wore a black one-piece bathing suit with long cross-tied stiletto black boots to incite her fit-figure.
Mercy’s expression suddenly changed into a softened smile. “Hello, my name is Mercy Williams.”
Mercy’s Australian accent came apparent when she introduced herself, looking more welcoming than she was a mere second ago.
“This is my first ever on-camera promo and I thought this would get people’s attention.” Mercy let out a small chuckle.
Mercy met her right leg next to her left leg, clasping her hands together on her lap.
“Anyway, let me start and talk about who I am exactly. I’m from Sydney, Australia and I’ve come all the way to America to train in Lion’s Den FC to become a wrestler. This upcoming Pride will be my first match ever and I’m so excited and so nervous at the same time.”
Mercy let out a nervous sigh widening up her smile to show the combination in feelings about her upcoming match.
“The question on your mind is probably why did I choose this path on becoming a wrestler? I mean why not? There are so many strong and fearless women in this so-called man’s world of wrestling. In the past year women have continued evolving themselves from eye-candy to fierce competitors, even out performing the men. Wrestling has always inspired me as a young girl, and to finally chase that dream by learning from those women has fueled my fire even more.”
“I’m thankful for getting this opportunity in LDFC to learn and develop myself as the wrestler I want to be in the future. I’ve been training for weeks on end to finally reach this pinnacle of having my first actual match. I can’t believe it’s happening and it’s so close. I just hope I don’t let the wrestling fans down when I go out there.”
“My first match I’ll be wrestling two men in a triple threat match. You would think I’d I be worried that I’m wrestling two men, but I’m not actually.” Mercy slowly shook her head to the sides arching her eyebrows.
“I grew up with two overprotective older brothers in which I wasn’t afraid to fight back. They taught me well, and raised me to be a fighter rather than weak-willed when it came to dealing with my battles. Also I did beat ‘em up on a few occasions…” Mercy raised up her index finger to her lips. “Shhh… don’t tell them I said that.”
Mercy continued, lowering her finger. “All the best to Aric Keaton and Danny Hall. I’m looking forward to get into that ring and to showcase what I’ve learned so far. Don’t expect a flawfree instant classic match from me as of yet, remember I’m still a student.”
Mercy tilted her head in a cutesy manner, with her knees touching and her feet apart. Mercy showed that she can be humble yet with a sense of humour.
Mercy straightened her head “I know, I have to make that first big impression out there. But in good faith, whatever I don’t do right is a reminder for me to continue to try again and grow. If I win, or if I lose, I’m going to continue to better myself each and every week. I won’t ever back down from a fight, man or woman."
"Here is to my start in LDFC!”
Mercy reassuredly nodded her head, before the scene faded out.
