Nothing is impossible in this world

A few days after the last edition of Pride and Shintaro Majima is sat in the Lion's Den dojo, his eyes cast towards the floor as he is lost in thought while he considers yet another narrow defeat on his competitive record
There was a reason why I signed with Lion's Den, and it was not for glory or financial gain, but it was so I could put an answer to the questions in my head that had been gnawing at me for the longest time. Majima briefly glances up towards the camera, before he continues: I have long come to terms with how my time was wasted the first time I came over, as I was promised a chance to compete that never came, so I returned home thinking I had failed. But when I went home, I knew this "failure" was not any fault of my own, as a man cannot succeed if he does not have the chance to prove himself.
With this being said, Majima stands up from the bench he has been sitting on and crosses the gym, approaching the training ring
Yet I could not rest, and knew if I was going to move on I needed to prove to myself more than I needed to prove to anybody else that I was not a failure, and this is why I signed with Lion's Den. Yet no matter what I do, with the exception of defeating Butcher there has been no time where everything has fallen into place. I have proven I can hurt my opponents, but the transition from hurting them to defeating them has been elusive. Many times have I been a hair's breadth from victory, and this is no figure of speech because on many occasions my opponent would have felt the full force of the Kurimuzon Kasai, and yet I was half a second too slow and it cost me. Looking at the ring, Majima pulls himself onto the ring apron and sits there, facing the camera. There is nothing worse that the moment you believe that somebody may have a point, yet what Hana Song said about me lacking the killer instinct may have a ring of truth to it - rather than be swift and decisive, I waver and the opportunity is missed, and it happens again and again.
I am sure that Nest is thinking something similar: he may receive some physical punishment in the match, but if he can weather the storm he has an excellent chance of victory. That, more than anything else, is what needs to change - opponents should not be going into a match with me thinking they can win once they withstand the barrage, they should be going into a match with me fearing the worst. Considering that point for a moment, a wicked glint flashes in the corner of Majima's eye before he continues, The obvious way to change this is to do the unthinkable: to defeat nest.
Majima takes a moment to let the thought hang in the air, almost as if he is envisioning such a thing, before he continues
Saying that I need to defeat Nest may cause some of you to think I am aiming far too high when you consider my record, or maybe you are thinking that I am stating the obvious because there is no reason for a man to set foot in the ring if they think they will lose, but consider this for a moment: who has defeated Nest? The list is short, so to be on that list will instantly give credibility to whoever defeats him. So if you consider that for a moment, and you consider how I need to discover a killer instinct and, with it, have a name that becomes something to fear, now you see what I have been presented with.
Majima slides off the ring apron once more, standing his ground
There is no point pretending the task will not be difficult, some may consider it to be beyond them - but I am not walking into the match with the belief I will be defeated, I am walking into the match knowing that defeating the Apex Champion in a match, even a match where the title is not on the line, will do more for my credibility than a hundred victories over lesser opponents. Knowing this means knowing that when the opportunity to claim victory presents itself, I must take it in a swift and brutal manner, meaning on my way to victory I will have discovered my killer instinct.
