Our video opens up to a smiling Jensen Walczak, who is wearing a Carolina blue tee with the black and bold letters of LDFC printed on the front and a pair of black shorts. He seems to have just exited training as there is signs of sweat building up around the collar of his shirt, but he doesn't seem to look tired at all.
"Doing this almost feels like I'm shaking off the rust."
It was only a few months ago when Jensen was in Hard Knox Wrestling in a managerial role for his best friend, Rhys Baines.
"Can't say the first time back won't be shaky, but here goes.
In just a few days time, I get to have my first ever match. That's right. Jensen Walczak finally gets to make his in ring debut for Lion's Den FC after impressing at their tryout camp."
Walczak smirks.
"For those of ya who weren't paying attention to anything going on at that time, I was one of only two people to survive that camp and be offered a spot here. And I'll tell ya what. I loved every bit of the fact that I earned my spot here.
Ya see, I had to be better than about...30, maybe 35 people to get to this position where I'm at now. The trainers saw the potential in me just like other people have too, like a former world champ by the name of Kerry Windsor, who ya shoulda heard of before. If ya haven't, Google is a useful thing.
But when Kerry Windsor saw potential and decided to train me, I knew I had to make him and that crazy ass hair of his proud. So I went to this camp and beat out 30 other dudes and chicks by not only performing the basic moves asked of us better than most, but by also being better on the mic than most of them. Though that might be a hereditary thing."
Jensen's referring to the fact that his half brother and half sister, Brandon and Felicity Banks, are also wrestlers knowing for their silver tongues.
"Now while I may not be on the level that they at with their trash talk, I'm certainly at a good enough level for this match. And it's going to be a fun one because I get to take on a fellow 'pretty boy'."
The quotation fingers by Walczak are used heavily upon those last two words, drawing another smile that reveals the white teethof Walczak once more.
"Keegan Hightower.
Now, I already have an idea as to why they made this matchup and it's cause I'm good friends with Emily Carter while you're not. Actually, you're kinda more like an enemy or a dickhead towards her.
Don't get me wrong though. Usually when someone who believes himself to be as good looking as ya think ya are, it's a big blow to the ego when their advances are blocked. And Emily telling you she didn't want to 'Netflix and chill' got you very sour because, well, ya were originally trying to get in her pants."
Walczak smirks, knowing the shots towards Keegan's looks and game are gonna also be a huge blow to his ego.
"Ya coulda moved on after that shit, but ya were salty as fuck and decided insulting her would be a better route to go through. So far, those insults ya have tried to throw her way are lame and ya should feel ashamed for being straight garbage at talking.
But we ain't talking about your failed Twitter conquests. I would need a three hour special for that shit. We talking about wrestling here.
So far for ya, 2 matches had, 2 matches won. But while it's impressive that you've managed to keep a zero in the L column, the opponents so far ain't been that impressive.
Joanna Jane Tarzana was your first match and you beat her. Hell, you beat her so bad they told her to take her bags and get out. But it's not impressive beating someone with the mental mindset of a gorilla that also works for about 15 different companies. But at least you're better than her.
It's also not impressive beating someone who doesn't love this career and looks at it as a second option. That was who ya faced last LDFC show and the fact that you beat her impresses me none, because you actually want to be here. But I'll tell you something right now.
In order to get my respect you either earn it by beating me or by being in the position Nest is in. And I got bad news. You not gonna pull off either of those things.
I'm take a W home.
Don't get salty.
I'm just being honest."
