“I don’t know, this is something different. What do you think?” Endee rhetorically asked, playing around with her black ombre light grey hair.
Endee was previously known for her peculiar hair colours in the past, most noteable her pink and blue hair. Just recently Endee went back to black hair presumably after seeing pretty much all instagram models were doing the coloured hair anyway. Also Endee wanted to preserve her natural hair colour and wanted to avoid bleaching her hair in the foreseeable future. The grey in my hair wasn’t her own hair anyway, wigs are a god send.
Endee shrugged her shoulders, looking into the camera to begin her promo for the upcoming Pride.
“First off, last week I did what I was going to do. Lose another match, and rightfully so. Terrence Tillman is a worthy contender and busted his ass to score that win, so congratulations to him.”
Endee slowly clapped, making the viewer unsure if she was being sincere or not.
“I know last week I may have appeared disrespectful, not studying my opponents and not even knowing the correctl name of the championship of Lion’s Den FC. Apologies all round, I guess my “success’’ got to my head." Endee used her fingers as quotation marks for the word success.
“Like really, I came to LDFC to become a stronger and a better competitor and I guess I haven’t been doing that since I haven’t won a match yet.” Endee faintly sighed, rolling her eyes.
“But alas, I have another chance. At the upcoming Pride, I will be wrestling Dylan Moriarty. Did I pronounce that right? Maury-art-tee.” Endee said the surname to herself a few times, attempting to ge the pronunciation right.
“Actually I carefully researched my opponent this time, also found his facebook, where he lives, his parents names and his social security number.” Endee blankly looked into the camera doing another is she being sarcastic or telling the truth deal.
“Mr. Dylan, is british man who is starting out as a wrestler when he is nearing 40.” Endee paused, playing around with her grey hair. “And you probably think this hair is me playing on the fact that the guy is old.”
“And that answer is no actually, I’m not that mean… Well, I am mean but I’m not a ageist! Far from it. But, if it was a woman beginning her pro-wrestling career at age 40, there would be more of an outroar. Because women that age should be settled down with babies and shit…. Can I say shit on camera?”
She looks over at the cameraman who nodded her an answer that couldn’t be seen to the viewer. Endee sighed heavily with a shake of her head, continuing on her spiel.
“Personally I think 40 is the new 30’s, because there are so many flawless females who are still killing it in the world of entertainment. Men on the other hand? It’s a hit or miss. Can Dylan be a hit in the world of wrestling? I don’t know, I can’t predict the future, I’m not a psychic but it would be cool if I were.”
Endee raised an eyebrow, with a half smirk emerging from her lips.
“Typically when a wrestler reaches the big 4-0, that’s when they tend to slow down becoming part-timers or planning their retirement. Becoming a wrestler is a strenuous road, I spent many years becoming the wrestler I am today. And I know you guys are already prying to point out my road as a wrestler, since I’m here in LDFC.“
Endee coughed, before continuing. “Hey, I’m saving the time for people stating the obvious about me. I really have no need to go into detail about my decisions as a wrestler. I’ve heard it all before. Only thing that matters is that I’m happy being a wrestler and I’m not stopping anytime soon. Believe it or not, in a few years time I’ll be 30 and I’m plan to wrestle into my 40’s.”
“Dylan on the other hand, his years as a wrestler may be already numbered. Could be be something in LDFC, maybe…. But it possibly could be only temporary due to his age. But it wouldn’t look good on his resume if he was beaten up by a tall midget female wrestler on his first match who hasn’t won a match in LDFC yet.”
Endee let out a high-pitch chuckle. “Wow, that would suck.”
“Age aside, how old my opponent is far from my concerns, this match is where I prove that Endee Leights can actually win a match or two.”
Endee attempted to force an open wide smiled, which appeared more of a smile with a crazy eyes instead.
“All the best for your wrestling career, Dylan Moriarty”
