Hey guys. I figured this would be a good way to keep storylines moving heading into the "off week".
After each show, I'll post an After Show thread for each show. The idea of the After Show is to give your in-character thoughts on what happened on the show.
Want to move your storyline alone? Talk about it?
You wanted to send in that backstage segment but never sent it in time? Post it here.
You got attacked? Talk about it.
You got screwed? Talk about it.
You want to brag? Talk about it.
I'm not asking for anything much. This isn't even mandatory. But 5-6 lines at the most is perfectly fine. If you want to do more than that? By all means, go for it.
If you do respond to these threads, then your character's dialogue will be used in upcoming magazine shows, DVD tapings and news reports. Again, it's just a way to keep storylines moving.

An irate Butcher is seen, pacing back and forth, trying to undo the tape on his arms. A camera walks up slowly, catching his sweaty fame into it's lens.
Cameraman: ...Butcher...uh...your match against Nest--Butcher: IT'S NOT BLOODY OVER....ALRIGHT? ALRIGHT THEN, NOW PISS OFF!!!
Cameraman: Well how are you--Butcher: LIKE A PILE OF DOGSHIT. Now sod the fuck off before I take your head off clean, boy. There was quiet, then...
Butcher: FUCKIN' HELL!!!!The camera turns to see Butcher, sitting down in his chair in the hallway, festering in his defeat. |

In the immediate aftermath of the #1 Contenders match, a sweat-soaked Shintaro Majima walks backstage and he does not look happy about how this evening's events unfolded
Majima: Ever since I was a child, I have been told that pride comes from knowing that you put as much effort as you could put into a task until you achieve a result that was admirable. What it does not come from is theft.
Majima shakes his head ruefully
Majima: As much as the arrogant fool wants to claim he represents the best of Lion's Den, he proved tonight that he does not come close to understanding what that word even means by stealing my victory from me, proving everything I have said about him to be true. More than that, all it took was one Kurimuzon Kasai the second I entered the match to prove I could destroy him as if he were nothing, and there was not one thing he could do to save himself.
At the moment you expect Majima to get angry, instead he snorts with amusement
Majima: However, this means all of Lion's Den will have the chance to watch the arrogant fool discover he cannot steal a victory when there is nobody to steal it from. I am sure some people may be upset seeing their hero defeated, but I am sure I will not be the only one who will laugh as I see him fail and finally be exposed for what he is.
Having said what needed to be said, Majima walks away

Triple T is seen back stage in his street clothes about to exit the building. Suddenly a camera man runs up and catches Tillman’s attention.
CAMERA MAN: Excuse me…Triple T. Shintaro Majima just made some comments about the match and we wanted to know your thoughts.
TRIPLE T: Of course he did. Let me guess…I’m an arrogant fool, blah blah blah, curses I’ll get you next time…blah, blah,blah…
CAMERA MAN: Well actually he says you stole the win from him.
TRIPLE T: I’m sorry…what?
CAMERA MAN: He feels…
TRIPLE T: No I heard what you said…let me get this straight…Majima…who attacked me from behind…not once but twice in the match is angry because I did the same to him? The guys that took every opportunity to short cut his way to a win is pissy cause it backfired on him? And now he’s whining to any and every one thats will listen that he was wronged like some jilted ex-girlfriend? (in a mocking voice) “Twiple T kicked me in my ass and made me fall and now I not the winner..boo hoo…boo hoo…” For the love of God sakes, MAN THE HELL UP! You lost. You got beat…AGAIN! Accept it and move on! You want to keep calling me names and quite honestly I’m over it. I’m over your disrespect and the bottom line is simply this. I am not afraid of you or your moves cause last time I checked you weren’t jumping to your feet when you got hit with SKYFALL! If you really have issue with me, I got time before my title match with Nest and I ain’t a hard man to find. Say the word and we can handle this like men…which I get may be new to you but I’ll walk you through it.
Now if you will excuse me I have some celebrating to do!
With that T adjusts the gear bag on his shoulder and heads out the exit. |
