The Range
BOOM!!!
A gunshot can be heard echoing in the distance. The camera pans across an open field full of fresh cut green grass. At one side of the field there are empty glass bottles set up on top of a wooden fence. On the other side of the field, Johnny Brave is seen holding up a rifle towards the sky. The camera then closes on him and he places his rifle smoothly on his right shoulder.
Johnny Brave: I'm guessing you all are wondering why I'm out here. To tell you the truth, this is the place I go to let off some steam. Its peacefull, its in the middle of nowhere and you can't beat the view.
The camera pans across the panoramic view of the rolling hills just beyond the fences.
J.B: After my loss against Sean Fallon I knew this place can do the job. Throwing a few shells in the mix just made it that much better. You see, I never thought I would lose, especially not to an egomaniac like Sean. Yet after our match the only reason why he claimed the "W" was due to him giving out a hand full of cheap shots. Never would of thought that nor have I ever trained for a match against techniques that degrade this business. Yet a win is a win no matter how the story ends.
Johnny takes a shell from out of his pocket and slides it in the chamber. He cocks the rifle and aims down the sight.
BOOM!!!
Johnny nails the bottle sending pieces of glass in every direction. He then places the rifle back on his right shoulder.
J.B: Just like that, lesson learned. Now is the time to just move on. Which is exactly what I'm going to do. Next week I have a match against Michael Tomkins, a superstar who has made a dominate name for himself here in FGA. So if you all don't mind, its time for me to hit the drawing boards...
Johnny sets his rifle in its case. He walks out of the camera cuts out....

Words with "The Stallion"
Scene fades in as you see both Johnny Brave and Tony Jones standing in the very ring where Johnny's upcoming match takes place.
Tony Jones: Take your last match as a learning experience. Your a rookie, so you will draw the shorter end here and there until you find your comfort zone.
Johnny Brave: I am a rookie. Yet that shouldn't matter so much Tony. Let me explain in few words... I've been training most of my life. I can't really help it that I got screwed over by a cheap shot. Hell, you saw the match yourself. I countered many cheap shots that Sean threw in my direction.
Tony Jones: Your right and wrong. Your right that you are trained to be a superstar. There's no doubt about that man, you have the gift. But your wrong that you can't help it that you got screwed by cheap shots. Because you can help it Johnny. I'll tell you how. Its called ring awareness with a twist of ring control. When you have both of those mastered, then you have the whole package.
Johnny Brave: Easier said than done Tony.
Tony Jones: Ah, you have much to learn Johnny.
Johnny Brave: How can you stand there and talk like that. Like you know how to become great. You were never a world title champion.
Tony's face drops in anger after hearing such words...
Tony Jones: Listen Johnny, I've been there and done that and your wrong. I may not of claimed that golden strap, but I achieved greatness far beyond anyone else in this business. The fans didn't call me the people's champ by going out there night after night telling a few jokes. I went out to the ring and kept them electrified from start to finish. I gave the people what they wanted, when they wanted it.
Johnny Brave: My bad man. I'm just a little heated by my loss last week at Spring Breakage.
Tony calms down.
Tony Jones: That trip up to the range didn't shut the doors on that?
Johnny Brave: Sort of, but the rage is still there.
Tony Jones: Well hate to break it to you, but your not fighting another Sean Fallon...
Johnny Brave: I know who I'm fighting next week man.
Tony Jones: Then get your mind set on Tompkins. And trust me, he isn't no push over.
Johnny Brave: I know. He's the first ever FGA world champion. His record alone speaks for itself. The man is good, I'm not going to deny it.
Tony Jones: Then this match should mean everything to you right now. Forget about Fallon, he's like chop liver compared to Tompkins.
Johnny Brave: To say the least...
Tony Jones: Exactly! Plus Tompkins trained in mix martial arts, same as you man. That's right up your alley.
Johnny Brave: Well thats not saying much Tony. Thats not saying he won't throw in a couple of cheap shots.
Tony Jones: True.
Johnny Brave: But then again, I did learn my lesson from last week. So I'll be ready for a couple.
Tony Jones: Just be prepared for everything. To be sure, we'll go over everything for your upcoming match.
Johnny Brave: To tell you the truth, I planned on doing just that. From stand up to ground grapple. After our last training session, I'm well aware for what is in store for me.
Johnny cracks his neck ready for the training as Tony nods his head as if he knows what Johnny is in for.
Tony Jones: Well then good. Lets say um... Tomorrow at around ten a.m sound good to you Johnny?
Johnny Brave: Sounds good to me.
With that said both men walk out of view as the camera cuts out...

Words on the Match
Johnny Brave: From when I entered FGA till about a couple of days ago I've been saying how much of a gunslinger I am. How there isn't a damn soul on that roster board that could stop me. How I'm going to climb that mountain with ease and claim myself world heavyweight champion without a sweat. Yet I was wrong, and I have to apologize to you all. My only excuse is that I'm a rookie, that thought of himself to be unstoppable. But even that is not a good enough excuse to say to you all. Yet its the only one I have. I hope for my sake, you all can forgive my delusional words and see me for who I am, a superstar here in a dominate federation that I call my second home. Forget all my trash talking, that's simply not me. I'm not the kind of person who talks down to someone nor am I in the position too. So from here on, you'll be seeing the real me. Just an average guy trying his hardest to become something great.
Pauses for a few seconds before continueing...
Johnny Brave: With that said, lets talk about my upcoming match against Tompkins. The man is a great fighter, which he already has proved to the world. I'm not going to say this will be a easy one for me, because it would simply be a lie. I'm not going to say I'm going to rip his head off from his shoulders because that too would be a lie. I'm just looking for a win against the man. If that opportunity comes knocking, I will try with every ounce in my body to do just that.
I'm well aware of what your capable of doing Tompkins. So save it for someone who doesn't. Especially losing the FGA world title and then going into Spring Breakage only to lose to Micky O'Reily. So I know your going to come in our upcoming match trying to get out of the drought you've been in as of late. Who wouldn't?.. Yet you have to stop and think for a moment. Will your drought truly end against me? Maybe, but then again maybe not Tompkins. I can say without any hesitation that I'm no push over either. With that said, what will you do if the rain continues to pour down on your career?.. That's a question only you know the answer to. I mean losing the title then losing in a street fight back to back.... I'd say it would put some pressure on you. I'm right no?
Johnny takes a moment to let the question simmer in.
Johnny Brave: I was told when I started my career, to be the best, you have to beat the best. Well Tompkins, in my eyes you are one of FGA's best. In order for me to even be considered in the same caliber as the top elites, I have to beat you. This opportunity I have simply can't slip out of my hands. You have to understand that I will not let it slip away. We both are coming off of a loss. So I know damn well we are going to give the fans one hell of a show. So right now I can just hope for that night to claim the "W," and hope that I can benefit from this opportunity I have.
Yet being in this federation for almost a month now, I can see you coming out with your chest all puffed out and on your high horse misleading the FGA fans. Talking smack about this and about that. Talking as if I am no proper opponent for you. How your on top of the power rankings and should be fighting for the title. A title that you lost because... what was your excuse?... Ah, because of all the pressure you had. Pressure caused by the winning streak you had here in FGA and didn't want to lose it... That was really your excuse to the fans after losing the title. I can't wait to hear your excuse on how you lost to Micky last week. The fans better get their popcorn buttered and ready for this one...
I respect you Tompkins. I respect you for what you've done here. You set the boundaries for Frontier Grappling Arts. Yet the respect I have towards you will be blinded when we come toe to toe in that ring. I will not hold back, I will not take things lightly. I pray that you do the same. One of us will come out in the end with our arm held high. Can it end with The Finishing Touch or will it end with the(letting the moment simmer in) LIGHTS OUT! Only fate can decide.
With that said the camera fades to black...
