ENTRANCE & ATTIRE
Entrance Music:
"Wiping All Out" by Shoji Meguro and Lotus Juice
Ring Attire:
To the ring: A black, sleeveless coat that gets appropriately left on the outside of the ring. Beneath the coat, what is worn is a white belly shirt, stopping above the navel; black track pants with the legs rolled up just enough to see a small amount of leg before the feet are covered by boots that look like they are snakeskin but are most likely a very convincing fake. Sometimes a baseball cap will also be worn, but that gets left with the coat.
Ring Entrance:
The horns marking the start of 'Wiping All Out' sound out like the trumpets of reveille would. The lyrics announce the arrival of the Black Adder herself. "I'm not a princess. Not a cutie girlfriend, oh no, don't you know?" Hana stands in front of the black curtain, her head tilted to the right and her arms crossed. She stares down towards the ring, smirking, and drags her tongue left to right across her lips before setting off. As she walks to the ring, she bobs her head in rhythm to the beat of the song. Outside the ring she slides into it under the bottom rope and the head bob transitions into a quick horizontal body wiggle akin to a snake slithering about. Hana stands and bobs her head until her music stops, at which point she merely waits.
CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base:
Cheetah (Korean rap artist)
Gimmick:
Like the snake she named herself after, Hana sees herself as someone packing a lot of venom in a smaller package. Not someone you want to trust, her words are just as much a weapon as her feet are. It's all about her, meaning that if she stands to gain nothing, she'll do nothing, but if there's something to be gained then there is no limit, short of actual crimes, that she won't go to to ensure that she is the last woman standing. Never one to accept a fair fight fairly, a real snake in the grass, waiting for the right time to sink her teeth into unsuspecting victims.
Bio:
Born to parents that spent as much time lounging and sucking up to the other gated community socialites, Hana longed to do anything other than settle for the moderately wealthy lifestyle that her parents and friends seemed all but content to commit to. It started, as these so often do, in the early teenage years. A haircut. Intentional violation of curfew. Experimentation. Bad influences. Anything her young mind could think of to make her parents ashamed when they overheard other people at the market talking about 'that asian girl' as they so often did.
Her transition into a contact sport was born of the desire to keep up that rebel spirit. It's a lot easier to get into a fight when there's a referee and people willing to watch. Rules were surely a technicality. Her trainer, such as it was, was someone who, like her, didn't much care for the lifestyles of the country clubbers. It was this trainer that taught Hana the ropes, but Hana was eventually dropped as a student because of her almost over-eagerness to do moves deemed illegal: low blows, et all. Hana, still interested in the bumps and bruises and thrills, toned it down - if only to be more able to find people willing to hire and/or finish her training so that she could transition into a full time gig.
Hana's fully aware that her antics are just likely to result in people sending her to the curb, but she doesn't really care so long as she's living in the moment. Despite being in her twenties now, Hana is still clinging to that teenage rebellion.
