After an ad for the next FGA taping plays, the screen fades into a shot of a couch. Suddenly Triple T enters the frame and sits down. 

TRIPLE T: I know I know…you were expecting me to be doing something silly. Maybe dressed up in some kind of costume or doing an impersonation making fun of my upcoming opponents. But to be real with you guys…I’m just not feeling it. At New Generation I was eliminated from the Apex Championship tournament in the first round. FIRST ROUND!! And although I hate to do it I have to give him props. Prince McRear did his thing and took me out.


So now the powers that be have decided to give me an opportunity to correct that crappy ending with a much better one. Next week I take on Butcher, AKIRA Kaede, and Brody Watts in a match to determine the number one contender for Nest and his Apex championship. I cannot have another night like New Generation. I cannot fail. Truth be told I’ve already done this. I just beat Akira and Butcher in the same style match. But now we have “Mr. Dark and Gloomy” Brody Watts to the mix and where some would say that complicates things, I say bring it on!


There can be no doubt. No questions. I want to face Nest and I want it clear that I earned the right to challenge him. Butcher, AKIRA you’re both good. You put up a great fight the first time I faced you. But you need to understand that I have one singular goal and that’s to be the champion. I will not let respect for you and your abilities stop me from achieving that goal. So just like the first time we met, I’m walking out the arena with my hand raised.


Brody Watts, we have both been here since day one and this is the first time you and I will meet in the ring. You’re big, and scary yeah, yeah, yeah I get it. You run your mouth about nothing matters this and it’s all for nothing that…yet here you are fighting for a chance at being a champion. The fact of the matter is you are absolutely right…YOU don’t matter, and everything you try to do in the ring next week will all be for nothing because you will be on the wrong side of a Terrific Kick faster than you can say “Just like me”!


It would be wrong of me to not say something to the winner and first ever APEX champion Nest. I have nothing but respect for you and I’m proud to say that you are a worthy and deserving champion. You know as well as I that you have a target on you now. I want you to know I’ve got your back if you need me.


Butcher, AKIRA, Watts, get use to this face because you are looking at “The Pride of the LDFC” you are looking at the next number one contender for the APEX Championship. YOU are looking at Triple T!
