After Show for New Generation

Hey guys. I figured this would be a good way to keep storylines moving heading into the "off week".

After each show, I'll post an After Show thread for each show. The idea of the After Show is to give your in-character thoughts on what happened on the show.

Want to move your storyline alone? Talk about it?

You wanted to send in that backstage segment but never sent it in time? Post it here.

You got attacked? Talk about it.

You got screwed? Talk about it.

You want to brag? Talk about it.

I'm not asking for anything much. This isn't even mandatory. But 5-6 lines at the most is perfectly fine. If you want to do more than that? By all means, go for it.

If you do respond to these threads, then your character's dialogue will be used in upcoming magazine shows, DVD tapings and news reports. Again, it's just a way to keep storylines moving.

Triple T stands alone in the locker room. New Generation is over and the first Apex champion has been crowned…And it’s not him.

Looking at himself in the mirror. Still in his wrestling gear with a dejected look on his face, he begins to speak to his own reflection. 

TRIPLE T: Well…here we are. Biggest opportunity of your career and you didn’t even make it out of the first round. You lost to McRear AGAIN!! Literally everyone else he has beaten has come back and evened the score…hell Nest did it twice…But you? Nope you just couldn’t get the job done. All the work, all the determination, all the trying…And here we are. You had fans backing you and you let them down again. You even had fellow wrestlers give you props and give you their support…and you failed them. And what’s even worst is that you can’t even be angry cause the guy that won is actually a worthy champion.

The words he speaks seem to frustrate him more, the definition of “truth hurts”. 

TRIPLE T: So what do we do now? What other avenue can we take? Sure being the fun loving crowed favorite is good…but where has it gotten you so far…on the other hand being a complete ass is not in your nature. Can we work harder than we have up to this point? Do we have anything more to give? Or do we just sit and watch the world pass us by, wrestling opening matches against new comers while the guys you started this thing with reach and surpass their goals?

TRIPLE T leans forward resting his head on the mirror.  

TRIPLE T: Where do we go from here T? What’s the next move?

Just then he hears a buzz. Tillman turns to his gear bag and pulls out his phone. It’s a text from Bree Nelson inviting him to an after show “victory” dinner with her and Donovan Cross. He gives a slight smile, take a deep breath and answers. 

TRIPLE T (texting): Wouldn’t miss it…see you out front in 5

With that he drops his phone back in his bag pulls out his street clothes and heads to the shower.
