Fatal 4-Way Match for the FGA World Championship
(c) Jimmy Page vs. Chandler Scott vs. Johnny Karma vs. Sean Sands
The arena lights dramatically extinguish, plunging the Palumbo Center into pitch black darkness - illuminated only by the geniuses with their camera phones filming a pitch black arena, thinking that would somehow look impressive when uploaded to Youtube. As the crowd begin to mutter, wondering what the heck's happened, white lights in the shape of a star can be seen on the top of the entrance ramp, which blink in time to John Bonham's drumming to indicate this isn't a power cut, if anything the show is going to be electrified by Johnny Karma making His entrance, and at the second the riff of Jimmy Page - the guitar God, not the soon-to-be-ex-F
WA-Champion - begins, yellow lights appear in the centre of the star spelling the word KARMA, and at last the arena lights come up once again to reveal Johnny Karma stood at the top of the ramp with Cherry Baum stood to his side presenting him to the crowd, and Karma turns around to see His audience, before gesturing around his waist that the belt will soon be his.
Karma looks focused as he begins to walk down the ramp, keeping his eyes on the ring rather than conversing with His public as he usually does, although carrying himself with a confidence that he knows that he will be winning the match, and winning in some style.
Kris Cruise: You could argue that Johnny Karma is arguably the hottest man heading into that match. But will he be able to get the job done on the grandest stage?
Stephy Auger: Karma has certainly talked the talk. But tonight, we're going to find out if he can back up his words.
As the pair reach ringside, Cherry quickly climbs onto the ring apron and sits on the middle rope to hold it open, as Karma climbs the ring steps and walks along the apron, turning to face His audience and once again gesturing around his waist, clearly mouthing the phrase
SPOILER ALERT to the fans at ringside before he steps into the ring.
Once inside His ring, Karma walks into the centre of the ring and slowly raises his right arm, before extending his index finger to remind everyone in the arena and especially everyone else in the ring that he's #1 - and once again the arena lights turn off as Karma's jacket lights up again, including the yellow trim so the only point of illumination is Karma's outline.
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
When The Levee Breaks I'll have no place to stay
The arena lights come back up, and Karma climbs the nearest turnbuckle to look out over the crowd, raising his arm again to let everyone know he's #1.
Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan
Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan
It's got what it takes to make a mountain man leave his home
Oh well, oh well, oh well
Karma climbs down from the turnbuckles, rubbing a spot on his waist where a belt would surely look pretty darned good.
The sound of an organ plays throughout the arena as the fans turn their attention to the entrance way. As "Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple kicks in, the crowd begins to boo, jeer and show various other forms of displeasure. At around the 30 second mark, Chandler Scott pushes through the curtain as the crowd really begins to let him have it.
Kris Cruise: Chandler Scott made it his mission to regain the FGA World Championship when he returned at our 50th DVD Taping back in July. He's getting his championship match much later than he wanted. But he's got it nonetheless. He, too, has talked a big game. But the odds are not in his favor, or anyone's for that matter. There's four men in this match. That's going to make it extremely difficult for any of these men to come away with the victory.
Stephy Auger: Chandler's definitely been on a roll as of late. But we saw what happened when he felt the match slipping away from him against Cordy Stevenson. He ran. He can spin it however he wants. But he knew he was seconds away from getting beat. So instead of giving Cordy the satisfaction of beating him, he took that satisfaction away from her and took an intentional count out loss. But there's no running in this one. If Chandler wants that championship, he's going to have to fight tooth and nail against these other three competitors.
After scanning the crowd, Chandler raises his index finger in the air, letting everyone know who is truly "number one." He keeps a smug look planted on his face as he swaggers down to the ring. After climbing up onto the apron, Chandler steps through the ropes, climbs up onto the second ropes and slowly raises his fist in the air as he absorbs the crowd's disdain for him.
"Burn Brighter" by Landsdowne plays as Sean Sands steps out from behind the curtain, a smile on his face. He points out at the audience as they cheer for him and nods his head before beginning his walk down the ramp towards the ring. Halfway down the ramp, Sean begins slapping hands with some of the fans and even signs an autograph or two. When he reaches ringside, Sean nods his head as he stares out at the audience again, before heading over towards the steel steps and quickly scaling them until he reaches the apron.
Kris Cruise: Say what you want about Sean Sands. But you can't take away what the man has done in this ring. He's in the midst of a career resurgence. And this roll that he's on could very well lead him back to the FGA World Championship.
Stephy Auger: Sands would love nothing more than to make Chandler's life a living hell. But what he wants even more than that is to reclaim the FGA World Championship. Sands may have won the 2013 Frontier Lions Cup. He may have been the one to dethrone Chris Q. But Sands doesn't look back fondly on that reign. He doesn't look back fondly on the months leading up to his initial departure from FGA. This right here is Sands' redemption. But unlike Chris Bond, who came so close to completing his redemption, Sands is looking for that story book ending tonight. Can he get it? We'll find out.
Sean slowly walks on the apron, looking at the audience still, before finally turning his attention to everyone in the ring. He quickly pulls on the top rope and hops over them before landing on his feet. Sean quickly climbs to the nearest corner on the middle turnbuckle before pointing out at the fans holding signs in support for him. Once he hops off, Sands heads to his corner and gets ready for his match.
The eerie cue up of "They Are Lost" by Last Remaining Pinnacle plays for ten seconds...then dies down, along with the lights. Suddenly the sound of drums and a electronic melody plays. The lights flash in red to the melody of the song. The song, "Can You Feel My Heart" by Bring Me The Horizon plays as a silhouette appears from out of the red. In his signature controlled stagger, Page comes out, hands extended, head down. Slowly his raises his head, soaked in the red lights. Fans boo him as he makes his way to the ring.
Kris Cruise: Jimmy Page has held the FGA World Championship since All-Star Showdown III last June. He defeated Dom Harter and Dan Herrera in that match. He then defeated Harter in the rematch at Above & Beyond III. He successfully defended his championship against the likes of Cordy Stevenson and Riley Owens as well. He ended last year as the year end #1 ranked grappler in all of FGA. He took home both the FGA and ORC Wrestler of the Year Awards. Page has got everything going for him. He's battle tested. He's been through the fire time and time again and has walked out with his championship in tow. But could tonight be the night that he doesn't leave the arena with his championship?
Stephy Auger: Some would say that this is Page's toughest challenge. But Page doesn't agree. He says that Johnny Karma, Chandler Scott and Sean Sands going up against him is futile. As much as you want to say that Page is overlooking his opponents, it's hard to side against Page when you look at his track record. It's hard to bet against Page when you've seen the people that he's beaten. No matter how tall the task, Page has always found a way to win. He may very well find a way to escape this Fatal 4-Way with his championship once again...
He whips his hair our of his eyes as he snatches away from of the extended hands, almost threatening to hit someone. Page stops from time to time, swearing at some of the fans who chant "FUCK YOU JIMMY!!" and "PAGE SUCKS!!!" getting in their face. As Page finishes his march of ridicule, he stops at the top of the ramp. His eyes dead, his expression stoic as he glares around the arena, the lights still radiating that deadly red. Page goes in front of the ring, slides onto the apron on one knee and quickly gets inside. He goes to his right and climbs the turnbuckle and stands on top of it, swearing at the fans, pointing at himself, talking to them, taunting them, mocking them. He stands there for a moment, then routinely spits his gum at the crowd. Page leaps down, slides down into the corner, and sits on the middle turnbuckle. He rests his left hand on his cheek nonchalantly, waiting for the match to begin
J.A. Aldrigde: The following contest is your main event of the evening! It is a Fatal 4-Way Match and it is for the FGA World Championship!
(Cheers and applause are heard throughout the Palumbo Center)
Cherry: Introducing first, and foremost, the top contender, the main challenger, and the soon-to-be
NEW F
WA Champion - weighing in at a fighting fit, just won't quit, he's gonna win it 233 pounds, he is the man who would be king - and give him about twenty minutes he will be - he is JOHNNY KARMA!!!
(Cherry steps aside as Karma strolls into the centre of the ring, milking the moment as Cherry hands him the microphone.)
Karma: Ladies and...
(Karma looks around the ring at the other competitors around him.)
Karma: ...girls.
(Karma gestures to Chandler Scott, suggesting that he may have been running his mouth of late.)
Karma: 246 days. Do you know what that is? That's the length of time since Jimmy Page won the F
WA Championship - although seeing him walking around saying he's the best this company's got, it feels like you can add one digit to that figure. But do you know what Day One is?
(Karma looks around, waiting for an answer.)
Karma: Day One is what tomorrow will be, because Jimmy Page will not reach Day 247 because tomorrow is a day when things will be forever changed, and I don't mean that two of my "opponents" will be members of the full-time roster. No, tomorrow is Day One because tomorrow is when The Karmic Era begins, and each and every one of you are invited, and that includes the guy I will be beating for his title in this very ring...but only if he has a bath and washes his hair first.
(Karma hands the microphone back to Cherry, before carefully removing his ring jacket to make sure he doesn't electrocute himself before the opening bell.)
J.A. Aldrigde: Introducing challenger number two, from Hyannis, Massachusetts! Weighing in at 245 pounds! He is the self-proclaimed "DNA of FGA"... CHANDLER SCOTT!
(The erupts in boos as Chandler raises his index fingers in the air.)
J.A. Aldrigde: Introducing challenger number three, from Cincinnati, Ohio! Weighing in at 220 pounds... SEAN SANDS!
(The crowd explodes in cheers as Sands gives them a fist pump.)
J.A. Aldrigde: And their opponent, from Flint, Michigan! Weighing in at 230 pounds! He is the reigning... defending... FGA World Champion! He is "The King of the F'N World"... JIMMY PAGE!
(The crowd erupts in boos as Page slowly raises his FGA World Championship belt. He then walks over to Karma, Chandler and Sands, intentionally holding the belt in each of their faces. Page then hands the belt off to the ref before stepping back into his corner. After the ref holds up the belt for each side of the crowd, it's handed off on the outside. He then calls for the bell.)
The bell sounds as Sands, Chandler and Karma all dart over into the corner, triple teaming Page to an explosion of cheers from the crowd.
Kris Cruise: Here we go!
Stephy Auger: These guys aren't wasting any time trying to take out the champ!
Page tries to cover up. But Sands, Chandler and Karma all pound him down in the corner - Sands with kicks to the midsection, Chandler with clubbing shots to the head and Karma with punches everywhere. Once Page is down in a seated position, the target is then shifted to Chandler, who is being doubled teamed by Sands and Karma.
Kris Cruise: And now Chandler is being targeted!
Chandler tries to run away to create some distance. But the two follow him into the opposite corner, pummeling him down with kicks and punches. Once he’s down in the corner, Sands repeatedly stomps away at his chest. Meanwhile, Karma runs towards the opposite corner and connects with the Kodak Moment. Once they have half of the opposition momentarily taken out of the match, both Sands and Karma turn and stare at each other from opposite corners.
Kris Cruise: And then there were two, Stephy.
Stephy Auger: I can't say I blame Karma and Sands for their strategy. It's much easier fighting one on one as opposed to having four men in the match.
They race towards the center of the ring. Karma throws out a clothesline. But Sands ducks. When Karma turns around, he’s met with a stinging knife-edge chop. Sands then takes Karma and goes for an irish whip. But Karma reverses, sending Sands into the ropes. When Sands comes back, Karma bends over to set up a back body drop. But Sands hurdles over Karma and continues to run into the ropes. When Sands comes back, Karma leap frogs over him. Sands continues to run into the ropes. When Sands comes back, Karma goes for a hip toss. But Sands steps through it and throws down Karma with a hip toss of his own. Karma gets back up, but Sands throws him down with an arm drag. Karma gets back up, but Sands runs over and connects with a dropkick to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Karma breaks up the pin.
Kris Cruise: Just when you think someone's got the match won, here comes someone to break up the pin!
Stephy Auger: That's what makes these Fatal 4-Way matches so tricky. It's first fall to a finish. It'd be one thing if there were elimination rules. But the first man to get a pin or make an opponent submit wins.
Karma picks up Sands and whips him into the ropes. When Sands comes back, Karma knocks him down with a running high knee to the face. He then picks up Sands and faces the ropes.
