ENTRANCE & ATTIRE
Entrance Music:
"Living Dead Superstars" by Zombie Girl
Ring Attire:
Tattered, dirty wedding dress. The skirt and train have been torn up and are wrapped around her legs, held in place with leather straps. Under this she wears white knee-length Doc Martens. Long fingerless silk gloves and garter around her right bicep, in contrasting pastel colours. Cybergoth hair extensions.
Ring Entrance:
"Here we come, here we are! The living dead superstars!"
A cheer goes up for the beginning of Zombie Girl's "Living Dead Superstars", and the team of 420 B.C., Serenity and Ligaya Fontaine, emerge. Serenity walks to the ring at the pace of a bride walking down the aisle, veiled and clutching a bouquet of dead flowers. Behind her, Ligaya crosses back and forth between the fans, hyping them up with hugs and high fives. Serenity hands her bouquet to her partner and rolls into the ring, and starts pacing around with her head bowed. She finally pushes her veil back from her face and sits down in the corner waiting for the match to start, while Ligaya casually chats to front row fans.
CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base:
Triplesix
Gimmick:
Obsessive fan of the late (or is he?) wrestling star Phreak. She has adopted the imagery of an unwed and undead bride in mourning. She is generally much more cynical and serious than her tag team partner, although she suffers from severe mood swings - which, she found out in 2014, is because she suffers from bipolar disorder.
Bio:
Serenity first appeared in the wrestling world in 2011 as an obsessive fan of Global Extreme Wrestling's Nic "Phreak" Williams, and eventually became his valet. After his apparent death, she went into an extended period of mourning, during which she and her childhood friend Ligaya Fontaine decided to pursue wrestling careers, in Serenity's case to carry on Phreak's legacy. They moved from Vancouver all the way to Ottawa to train at Shane Tallin's prestigious Battlegrounds Academy, the same school which produced Ligaya's cousin Evangelista. Needless to say, the re-emergence of a man claiming to be Phreak in mid-2014 shook her up, and the last half a year or so has been emotionally tumultuous for Serenity, particularly when she was diagnosed as being bipolar.
Upon leaving Battlegrounds, 420 B.C. were among the first tag teams to sign with Hard Knox Wrestling, back when it was Platinum Dynasty Wrestling's developmental territory. But when HKW took on a touring schedule across the USA they felt they weren't in a position to tour and requested their release. Since then, they have been based in Snow Maple Grappling, a developmental indie affiliated with Sah'ta Thor's Imperial Enterprises. Serenity also made a couple of non-wrestling appearances with short-lived British hardcore company Diamond Wrestling Federation, home of the man claiming to be her former love. She is a one-time SMG Tag Team Champion with Ligaya.
