CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base:
Alexa Davalos
Gimmick:
Rookie looking for a chance to break out (more will be revealed over time)
Strengths
1. Athletic Background: Mia was an MMA fighter at the age of 16, first amateur, then after a couple years, turning professional. Her base is still in BJJ and Judo; she knows how to control bigger opponents if she has to, and she's never let herself get too far out of shape, always training at least to keep herself conditioned, if not always for competition. It would take a lot of abuse or a very long match for Mia to start to run out of stamina.
2. Determination: Mia hates losing, and will do whatever it takes to prevent it from happening. She's constantly intent on proving herself and will keep fighting until she either wins the match or literally can't fight anymore.
Weaknesses
1. Inexperience: Mia still has less than a combined 12 months experience in professional wrestling, despite making her debut in April 2013, and she's used to competition like MMA, where outside influences aren't allowed. She hasn't had to deal with the shenanigans and distractions that come with professional wrestling, and will be prone to fall for them when she does have to. She also struggles in multi-person matches (triple threats and the like) due to never having to compete in such matches before.
2. Lack of Power: Mia isn't the strongest of the bunch; she has the skill and technique to control bigger, stronger opponents, but she doesn't have the raw power. Stronger opponents can prevent her from doing a lot of her offense just by overpowering her.
3. Easily Frustrated: Mia gets easily frustrated when things that SHOULD work, don't; when she misses a move she should hit, when a finisher doesn't work, or when she has a hold locked in and a rope break occurs, Mia gets increasingly frustrated. She'll do her best to contain it to prevent herself from getting sloppy, but the more it happens, the more likely it is to get to her.
Bio:
Born in Canterbury, England, on 20 December 1994, Mia Scott was never supposed to discover combat sports. But then, she was never supposed to do a lot of things. Her parents wanted her in academia or another "respectable profession," so when Mia opted not to go to University, her parents were disappointed with her. She doesn't particularly like to talk about the split with her family, but what she will tell people is that the final straw came when she came out as a lesbian to her parents, and they were so disappointed in their daughter that they kicked her out of the house just before her 17th birthday.
She eventually found herself relocated to London, living in hostels at first, then eventually saving enough money for a small flat, which she shared with a friend. During this time, she took up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to help deal with her increasingly bad temper, and fell in love with the sport. As time passed, she was promoted to blue belt and began training in fairly rudimentary kickboxing, deciding she wanted to compete as a cage fighter. Still hoping to get her family back, she sent both her parents cageside seats to her amateur debut, but neither came.
Mia racked up an amateur record of 5 wins with 1 loss, and a Kent FC Strawweight Championship reign before deciding she wanted to make a career out of MMA, and turning pro. She won her professional debut by unanimous decision, but then...was never heard from again. She didn't appear on any future cards with the company, and has gone on record as saying she was done with MMA due to "a lack of opportunity" following her experience.
It wasn’t for about 18 months that the name Mia Scott was ever heard again, when she reappeared as a professional wrestler, competing in Pro Wrestling: FRONTIER. In 7 matches with the company, she rattled off 5 wins, including a victory over then-GFC Tag Team Champion Adam Stryker. But then, again, she disappeared from FRONTIER and the wrestling circuit in general. Rumors of mental health issues, financial concerns, and any number of other reasons surrounded Mia’s disappearance. Now, though, she’s apparently past whatever issues were plaguing her and is ready to try her hand at wrestling again.

Ring Entrance
The lights in the majority of the arena dim, focusing on the entrance ramp as the intro to Fireflight’s “Stand Up” starts to play through the PA system.
[div align="center"]Look at all the lonely hearts
Shivering out in the dark
Hiding from the truth, cover up the proof...
Demons that I’ve tried to hide
Imprison me in my own lies
And all that I can do is cover up the proof...[/div]
As the intro plays, the lights dim more and more, until even the entrance ramp is only barely lit. It holds that dimness for a moment or two, but the song kicks off rather abruptly, and as Mia enthusiastically runs out onto the stage, the lights kick back up to full power.
[div align="center"]Don’t be afraid...to...
STAND UP!
Stand up if you’re broken
STAND UP!
Stand up if you feel ashamed
You are not alone when you hurt this way[/div]
J.A. Aldridge: From London, England...weighing in at one-hundred twenty-six pounds...MIA...SCOTT!
Mia makes a quick trip down to the ring, slapping hands with any fans that might have stuck their hands out as she walks by. She circles around the ring, sliding under the bottom rope before making her way to the nearest turnbuckle, pointing out toward the fans for a moment before hopping down, settling back in the corner
