Kevin Clement: Hello fans and welcome to another Frontier Grappling Arts DVD presentation! I'm Kevin Clement and joining me as always is my colleague, Evan Grayson! Tonight, we're here inside the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, Michigan! We've got the second half of this weekend's double shot tonight. And it's capped off by a huge championship match. Riley Owens will defend his Pride Championship against championship against Cyncity.

Evan Grayson: Riley Owens faces arguably his toughest test as Pride Champion when he steps into the ring against Cyncity. Cyncity lasted the longest in the Gold Rush Rumble. She made it to the finals of the Frontier Lions Cup. Tonight could be the night that she finally wins the big one. But I doubt it!

Clement: Also here tonight, The Black Hand will be in singles action as Chris Madison takes on Nico Touza and Tommy Knox goes one on one with Evangelista.

Grayson: The Black Hand made one hell of a statement last night when they beat the hell out of Annie Zellor. Those two men came here for one reason and one reason only. That was to win those World Tag Team Titles. And they aren't stopping until they get those titles.

(As Clement and Grayson are wrapping up their pre-show hype, the lights in the arena go down, followed by a long, drawn-out silence. As the crowd begins to grow restless, the opening chords of Alice in Chains “Man In The Box” start to play. Strobe lights hit the entrance curtain as a good portion of the crowd immediately leap to their feet in a mix of cheering-recognition and vitriolic jeering.)

Clement: Oh. My. God.

Grayson: Is it… is it…?

(As the lyrics kick up, a man pushes the curtain aside and steps out to the crowd. His dirty blond hair is slick with water as he flings it back off his face. The din of mixed response immediately turns to a cacophony of boos and jeers.)

Clement: & Grayson: MALCOLM DRAKE!!

(Malcolm Drake - attired in a simple combat boots, dark blue jeans and a simple black T-shirt under a leather jacket- takes a moment at the entrance way to absorb the hate and malice directed at him before making his way towards the ring. A half-empty plastic soda cup goes whizzing by his head as he approaches the ring; the boos are so loud they almost drown out the music.)

Clement: It has been months, several months, since we last saw Malcolm Drake, the “head crow” of The Murder. Why is he back now?

Grayson: Mark the date, Clement, because I am actually speechless. I thought we had seen the last of Malcolm Drake when he disappeared.

Clement: I had hoped we had seen the last of him.

(Instead of immediately entering the ring, Drake circles it, as if inspecting it before sliding under the bottom rope on his stomach. The crowd is frothing as Drake hoists himself up and asks for a microphone. He receives it and after a moments pause, raises the microphone to his lips.)

Malcolm Drake: Hello.

(The crowd responds with a renewed fervor of jeering. More garbage is hurled at Drake, who makes no attempt to avoid it.)

Grayson: Not exactly a hero’s welcome.

(As the booing dissipates, Drake starts again.)

Malcolm Drake: For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Malcolm Drake.

(The crowd boos again, but instead of doing the sing-song dance Drake powers through the noise.)

Malcolm Drake: For over a year I ran roughshod over Frontier Grappling Arts. I crippled opponents, I bloodied competitors, I ended careers… I unleashed The Murder upon FGA, and we carved a scar across the face of this company. We descrecated title belts; we brutalized our opponents, their friends and anyone who got in our way; we purged the roster; we PISSED on everything that FGA stood for. The name “Malcolm Drake” was whispered in hushed tones reserved for monsters and boogiemen. I was an unstoppable… destructive… FORCE. And now I’m back. And there’s only one thing I have to say…

(The crowd actually falls into a hushed, anticipating silence whether out of curiosity or preparation for renewed booing.)

Malcolm Drake: … I’m sorry.

(Drake pauses for a moment. The crowd is unsure how to respond.)

Grayson: What did he just say?!

Clement: Did… Is… is Malcolm Drake apologizing?

(As some of the crowd begins to boo what they can only assume is a mock apology, Drake continues.)

Malcolm Drake: I’m sorry for what I did, I’m sorry for path of destruction I carved, and most importantly I’m sorry for who and what I was. I know these words are nothing but empty platitudes… you have no reason to believe a word a say. I’m NOT a good person. Present tense. I’m still the barely contained volcano of hatred and violence. I’m STILL unstable. I’m STILL… crazy. But I stand here before you to make a promise. Mark these words: this is NOT some elaborate ruse, this is NOT a trick or a long con. I am here to redeem myself for the ills I’ve caused to Frontier Grappling Arts.

(The crowd murmurs until someone shouts “he’s a f**king liar!” which causes the crowd erupt in agreement. There is now a noticeable amount of garbage scattered at the feet of Malcolm Drake. For his part, Drake cracks his neck and pretends to be undeterred. Again, he doesn’t wait for the boos to subside before speaking.)

Malcolm Drake: When I came to FGA I stated that I would KILL this company… and resurrect it in my own image. I sought to make FGA over in my own image. Now that I’m back… I don’t want to make FGA more like Malcolm Drake, I want to make Malcolm Drake… more like FGA. You can call it a transformation, you can call it a reformation, you can call it a redemption…

(The crowd falls silent as 'Low Self Opinion' by Rollins Band starts playing; the unfamiliar tune is met with an air of confusion ... but that doesn't last more than a moment before Dom Harter steps out from behind the curtain. The crowd immediately begin to boo and jeer all over again as The Tenacious Little Bastard - dressed casually in his black jeans and a gaudy leather jacket over a black tee - stands at the top of the aisle, staring straight at his mentor.)

Clement: Holy hell, we weren't expecting to see Dom Harter here tonight, Evan.

Grayson: And you have to wonder what he thinks about what Malcolm Drake just said!

(The furrowed brow and flared nostrils on Harter's face indicate he's not in the best of moods right now; he stands in one spot, staring towards the ring where Malcolm Drake has approached the ropes nearest the aisle. A chant of "Fuck you, Harter! Fuck you, Drake!" starts up from somewhere near the back as Dom lifts the microphone to his lips.)

Dom Harter: Tell me this is some sick joke...

(He says, morosely, shaking his head as he gestures towards the ring with one arm.)

Dom Harter: Do my eyes deceive me or is it really you, Malcolm? Because I heard the music and I thought somebody was playing a prank on me. And you sure look like the Malcolm Drake I remember ... the crow I looked up to, who I held in reverence ... but then you opened your mouth ...

(Harter sneers as he begins his slow methodical walk down the aisle.)

Dom Harter: And I knew - I knew - it was you because nobody else can spew that much shit!

(Harter climbs the ring steps in silence and enters through the middle rope. The crowd falls into a sense of hushed awe as the two founding members of The Murder find themselves face to face in an FGA ring for the first time since International Incident back in February. The tension between the two of them is palpable as the stern faced Harter speaks once more.)

Dom Harter: I don't see you, I don't hear from you for six months - six goddamn months - and you come back to Dearborn to tell me that you want to change...

(Dom scoffs as Drake tries to talk, only to find himself cut off.)

Dom Harter: NO! Your time for talking is over, Malcolm. I don't want to hear one more word out of your goddamn mouth! You - Malcolm Drake - want to change?! You want to rise above what you were, but you don't realize there's one huge problem in your way - and it's not these fans you're so eager to satiate now - you see, they've known all along what I now know about you.

(Harter pauses, staring straight into the eyes of his mentor as he speaks.)

Dom Harter: That you're just a piece of gutter trash ... you can't change, Malcolm ... you're incapable of bettering yourself. Like a tiger cannot change its stripes, you're a crow who cannot change his feathers. And you, Malcolm Drake, do not deserve redemption.

(Drake stands stoically as he listens to the words his protege speaks. The crowd are restless, unsure how to react as Dom speaks up once more.)

Dom Harter: You want to mold yourself in the image of FGA ... you want to appease these mouth breathers who despise you, who loathe you with every fiber of their being ... you can try, Malcolm. But I will be in your way - at every step you try to take - and I will bury you!

(A long silence ensues as Drake and Harter stare at each other; Harter sneering, Drake a barely contained stoicism. After several moments, Drake finally acts… extending his hand for a handshake. The overt gesture of attempting to bury the hatchet is met with stunned looks from the crowd. But from Harter it is met with furious anger.)

(Instead of accepting the handshake Harter SLAPS Drake across the face! The crowd responds with a quick cheer at seeing Drake slapped. Drake snaps his head back around and violently lunges after Harter. But Harter anticipates and slips out of the ring, leaving Drake hanging over the ropes, red-faced and irate.)

Clement: Did you see that?! Harter just slapped Malcolm Drake!

(Harter begins back-pedaling up the entrance ramp, but pauses to spit and taunt Drake. Harter points and “Look at you! You haven’t changed at all! You can’t change! You’re pathetic!” Drake kicks the bottom rope in frustration as the crowd launches into a chant of “You got bitch-slapped.”)

Colton Sterling vs. Danny Diamond

"Painkiller" by Three Days Grace suddenly begins to play throughout the arena as Colton Sterling steps through from behind the curtains, looking out at the audience with a semi-serious look. Dressed in his ring gear and black and red hoodie, Colton has the hood over his head, but just enough to where it covers most of his light brown hair. As he stands at the top of the stage, he begins nodding his head and cracking his neck before beginning his descent down to the ring. 

Cruz: The following is your opening contest of the evening and it is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Tampa Bay, Florida! Weighing in at 201 pounds… COLTON STERLING!

Colton slaps hands with some of the fans nearby, the smirk still plastered on his face. Once ringside, Colton takes a run towards the steps, but quickly turns towards the apron before hopping onto it. Looking out at the audience once more, Colton begins walking across the apron for a few steps before tugging on the bottom rope and hopping over, landing on his feet as he has finally made it inside of the ring. Quickly making his way over to a corner, he climbs to the middle turnbuckle before removing his hood off, nodding his head as he looks out at the fans. Sterling then begins to remove his hood off, tossing it to the outside but not at the fans, before hopping off and landing on his feet before punching at the air as he makes his way over to his designated corner before the match starts.

Clement: Colton Sterling makes his FGA debut here tonight in Dearborn. Colton's gotten a lot of praise for his work in HKW.

Grayson: Yeah, he has. But that's HKW and this is FGA. This is a whole different ballgame. And tonight, he's facing off against a competitor that is not in the best of moods.

As Avenged Sevenfold's "Bat Country" hits the PA System, and gold fog covers the stage, a silhouette is seen in the midst of this fog. He pops out to reveal himself to be none other than Danny Diamond. Boos erupt all around the arena, as the arrogant man looks out with a grin. Danny begins his march to the ring. The crowd is not to be silenced as they let out their hatred for the man who's known as "The Prized Gem".

Cruz: His opponent, from Los Angeles, California! Weighing in at 213 pounds… DANNY DIAMOND

Bathing in the jeers from his "beloved" fans, Danny jogs up the steel steps that lay leaned up against one of the steel posts that helps hold the foundation of the ring ropes. Using the method of one foot first through the middle and top rope, Danny hops inside the so-called squared circle. Upon entering the ring, Danny leaps onto the nearest middle turnbuckle, as he points both middle and index fingers to the sides of his head as if he was shooting himself with two guns.

Clement: Danny Diamond has been irate over losing his shot at the Rey del Aire. He's looking to take out all that aggression on Colton here tonight.

Grayson: I hope Colton's on his a-game. Diamond's going to be looking to right the wrongs of Above & Beyond III.

The bell sounds as both men circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Diamond places Sterling in a side headlock. He quickly performs a standing switch, transitioning into a hammerlock from behind. Sterling then reaches back, elbows Diamond in the face and reverses into a hammerlock of his own. He then spins Diamond around and throws him down with an arm drag to cheers from the crowd. Diamond gets back up, but Sterling takes him down with another arm drag to cheers from the crowd. As Diamond gets up, Sterling grabs him and whips him into the ropes. When Diamond comes back, Sterling bends over to set up a back body drop. But Diamond hurdles over him and continues to run into the ropes. When Diamond comes back, Sterling knocks him down with a dropkick to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

As both grapplers scramble to get back to a vertical base, Sterling takes Diamond and throws him down with a side headlock takeover. Diamond quickly reverses into a leg scissors headlock. But Sterling is able to escape with a kip up. Diamond then scrambles to get back to his feet. But Sterling places him in a side headlock. Diamond then shoves Sterling off of him and into the ropes. When Sterling comes back, Diamond knocks him down with a standing shoulder block. He then runs into another set of ropes as Sterling gets back up to his feet. When Diamond comes back, he knocks down Sterling with a running shoulder block. He then runs into another set of ropes as Sterling gets back to his feet. When Diamond comes back, Sterling leap frogs over him. Diamond then continues to run into the ropes. When Diamond comes back, Sterling goes for a hip toss. But Diamond blocks it, knees him in the midsection, turns him around and brings him down with a backslide pin.

As both grapplers get up, Diamond quickly rolls up Sterling in a small package.

Clement: Both men have matched each other move for move in the early part of this match.

Grayson: Yeah, both of these guys are evenly matched. of course, Diamond has got the ring experience by far. But in terms of styles, these two are nearly identical.

As both grapplers get back up, Sterling nails Diamond with a high knee lift. But Diamond comes right back with a cross chop to the throat. Sterling responds with a forearm strike. Diamond comes back with a right hand. Sterling then nails Diamond with another forearm strike. Diamond goes to throw another punch. But Sterling beats him to the punch and connects with another forearm strike… and another… and another. Sterling then steps back and throws out a roundhouse kick. But Diamond ducks. When Sterling turns around, Diamond goes for a Pele Kick. But Sterling rolls underneath it. Once Diamond gets back up to his feet and turns around, Sterling connects with a Pele Kick of his own to cheers from the crowd.

Diamond picks out.

Sterling picks up Diamond, brings him into the corner and unleashes a series of knife-edge chops that echo throughout the arena. He then takes Diamond and goes for an irish whip. But Diamond reverses, sending Sterling into the corner. He then runs across the ring. But Sterling nails him with a boot to the face to cheers from the crowd. After shaking off the blow, Diamond runs back into the corner. But this time, Sterling catches him with an elbow to the face to cheers from the crowd. As Diamond stumbles back, Sterling charges from out of the corner and knocks him down with a double knee to the chest. He makes the cover.

Diamond kicks out.

Sterling picks up Diamond and applies a top wristlock. The ref asks Diamond if he wants to give up. But Diamond refuses to quit. He then rolls forward, leans back, kips up and reverses into an arm wringer. Sterling then rolls forward, turns over onto his knees, flips over with a headstands and reverses into an arm wringer. Diamond then rolls forward, leans back, kips up, cartwheels over, reverses into another arm wringer, yanks Sterling over towards him and delivers a release northern lights suplex to boos from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Clement: What a series of moves there by both men!

Grayson: Colton's holding his own in there against Diamond. I didn't expect that going in this match.

Diamond moves Sterling into the corner and unleashes a series of knife-edge chops. He then takes Sterling and whips him into the opposite corner. Diamond runs across the ring. But Sterling bounces out of the corner and cuts him off with a Bicycle Kick to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Diamond kicks out.

Clement: Big kick to the face by Colton, but it only gets two.

Sterling picks up Diamond and whips him into the corner. Sterling then charges into the corner. But Diamond ducks the oncoming attack and dumps Sterling over the top rope…

Grayson: There he goes!

… but Sterling lands safely on the apron. When Diamond turns around, he turns into a slingshot gamengiri to cheers from the crowd. As Diamond stumbles back, Sterling goes for a springboard maneuver. But Diamond nails Sterling while he’s in mid jump with a roundhouse kick, sending Sterling tumbling to the floor.

Clement: Colton nailed Diamond with that jumping kick to the face. But Diamond came right back with a kick of his own.

Grayson: Yeah, Colton ate that kick and now he's on the floor.

As Sterling slowly gets up on the outside, Diamond runs into the ropes. When he comes back, he charges across the ring and knocks him down with a somersault plancha to boos from the crowd.

Clement: What a maneuver by Danny Diamond!

Grayson: he just wiped out Colton on the floor!

Diamond picks up Sterling and rolls him back into the ring. After climbing back up onto the apron, Diamond connects with a springboard leg drop to boos from the crowd. He turns over and makes the cover.

Sterling gets his shoulder up.

Diamond picks up Sterling and nails him with a knee strike to the midsection. He then quickly turns Sterling around and goes for a belly to back suplex. But Sterling rolls over his shoulder, lands on his feet and counters with a jumping reverse bulldog to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Diamond gets his shoulder up.

As Sterling picks up Diamond, Diamond quickly grabs Sterling and rams him back-first into the corner. The crowd boos as Diamond follows up with a series of shoulder thrusts to the midsection. He then takes Sterling, brings him from out of the corner and throws him down with a scoop slam. Diamond then heads back into the corner and goes for a springboard moonsault. But Sterling moves out of the way. But Diamond lands on his feet, turns around and connects with a standing moonsault to boos from the crowd.

Sterling gets his shoulder up.

Clement: How about that move by Danny Diamond!? He came off the top for a moonsault. Sterling rolled out of the way. But Diamond landed on his feet and ended up hitting another moonsault!

Grayson: His athleticism is something else.

Diamond picks up Sterling, nails him with a series of right hands and then whips him into the ropes. When Sterling comes back, Diamond throws out Die Tonight. But Sterling ducks and runs into the ropes. When Diamond turns around, Sterling knocks him down with a cross body to cheers from the crowd.

Sterling picks up Diamond and goes for an irish whip. But Diamond reverses and knees Sterling in the midsection. He then grabs Sterling, runs and tosses him through the ropes and to the floor.

Clement: What's Diamond setting up for here?

Grayson: Another dive, maybe?

As Sterling gets up on the outside, Diamond runs into the ropes. When Diamond comes back, Sterling slides into the ring and cuts him off with a back elbow to the face. He makes the cover.

Diamond kicks out.

Sterling picks up Diamond and delivers a series of chops before going for an irish whip. But Diamond reverses, sending Sterling into the ropes. When Sterling comes back, he knocks down Diamond with a flying forearm smash. While both men are down, Sterling rolls back and then kips up to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Colton's got this crowd fired up!

As Diamond gets up, Sterling runs over and knocks him down with a Bionic Elbow to cheers from the crowd. Diamond gets back up, but Sterling knocks him down with another Bionic Elbow. As Diamond gets up, Sterling grabs him and goes for an irish whip. But Diamond reverses, sending Sterling into the ropes. When Sterling comes back, Diamond connects with a roundhouse kick, sending Sterling stumbling back. Just as it looks like Sterling is about to stumble through the ropes and to the floor, Sterling swings back up and goes for a Rebound Lariat. But Diamond counters with Die Tonight, turning Sterling inside out.

Clement: What a clothesline!

Grayson: He might have knocked the wind right out of Colton.

While Sterling is down, Diamond heads into the corner and waves him up. Once Sterling eventually gets up and turns around, Diamond throws out the Sudden Death. But Sterling catches his foot, spins Diamond away from him, grabs him from behind and delivers the Shining Diamond to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Cruz: Here is your winner, COLTON STERLING!

Sterling gets his arm raised to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Colton Sterling picks up the win in his first FGA match!

Grayson: Good for him. But I was just as impressed, if not more impressed with Danny Diamond. I know he's winless thus far. But the man showed me something out there in that ring. That man has got the skill to be a champion here. If he keeps putting out strong performances and is able to close out these matches, he could very well wind up with a championship.

[ FADE OUT ]

[FGA Office]

Kevin Clement: Wait... uh-huh... ladies and gentlemen, I've just been told there's some kind of commotion going on backstage. We're trying to get a camera there to find out what's going on.

(After a moment, we cut to a handheld shot running down a corridor in the direction of howls of rage and the sound of things breaking. The cameraperson finally rounds a corner into a large storage area, and we get to see the source of the clamour: Laurel Anne Hardy, storming around in a black rage punching holes in the plaster and kicking boxes clean across the room.)

Laurel Anne Hardy: I'll FUCKIN' KILL 'EM!!

(Also present are Chaz Holiday and Leanne Evangelista, who are simultaneously trying to calm Hardy down and to keep their distance from her.)

Evangelista: Smashin' all backstage up isn't gonna help, Ell.

Chaz Holiday: She's right, Laurel. Only person you're going to end up hurting is yourself. Save it until you get them in the ring.

(Laurel sweeps the contents of a shelf onto the floor with a sharp backfist, growls under her breath, then grabs a tin of paint and heaves it at the far wall leaving a massive dent.)

Evangelista: What would Annie say if she saw you tearin' the place up cause of her?

(Hardy walks over to a doorway, seemingly leaving the room, muttering to herself as she goes.)

Laurel Anne Hardy: Two seconds! Two bloody seconds I wasn't there for her, and she got jumped. I shouldn't have left her.

Chaz Holiday: It's not your fault... You can't blame yourself.

Evangelista: Listen to him, Ell. You can't be around Annie 24/7.

(Hardy wheels around and smacks the door frame, ignoring her friends, then goes back to the shelving unit and hauls it over onto to the floor, kicking it once for good measure too.)

Laurel Anne Hardy: I ain't gonna have that. No way. Nobody fucks with one of mine an' gets away with it.

Evangelista: Laurel, please don't do somethin' you're gonna regret.

Laurel Anne Hardy: Ain't me who's gonna be regrettin'. I'm gonna make The Black Hand cry tears of regret.

(Hardy continues stomping around; her friends exchange nervous glances.)

Laurel Anne Hardy: UGH! I've been up an' down this whole bloody building and ain't found 'em...

(She turns slowly, and her eyes come to rest on the shelving unit she abused just seconds ago. A sick smile slowly spreads across her face, and she stomps on one of the fallen upright poles.)

Laurel Anne Hardy: I know where they'll be later in the night, though.

(With a little more stomping and pulling, she pulls a section of the tube off and gives it a couple of experimental swings like a baseball bat.)

Evangelista: If you fuck with them, they'll just get Annie even harder next time, Ell. You know this. Don't give them the reason.

Laurel Anne Hardy: What 'next time'? When I'm done with them they won't even be able to stand upright.

Chaz Holiday: Don't do anything you're going to regret, Laurel... Remember that you can't get back at them if you end up doing something that'll get you suspended or even worse.

(Laurel finally turns to Chaz. She blinks a few times, eyes slightly glazed, as she takes in what he said - then nods lightly as she processes it. She starts pacing around in a random pattern, rubbing her face. Evangelista grabs Hardy and turns her round, placing her hands on her shoulders and staring into her eyes.)

Evangelista: Laurel, look at me. Look me in the eyes. You don't want to be this person. You told me to tell you when you're being psychopathic... you're being psychopathic.

(Laurel stares Leanne in the eyes for some time, a spectrum of emotions passing through her irises. Slowly her breathing settles down.)

Evangelista: Go an' see Annie. She needs you right now. That's more important than finding The Black Hand.

Chaz Holiday: She's right. You'll get Black Hand in a match, at some point. You know management won't let them get away with that. Annie needs your attention, more, right now.

Evangelista: We're all going out for your birthday tonight, remember? You wanna be in a good mood tonight. Don't let those two get to you. Let me worry about Tommy Knox tonight. Let me just go out there an' have a wrestling match with him. I know you wanted to come to ringside with me, but - honestly here hon - are you gonna be able to control yourself? Or are you gonna fly off the handle as soon as you see The Black Hand? You don't wanna be like this all night.

Chaz Holiday: Just stop and think rationally for a moment... If you do something that gets yourself in trouble, you're going to leave Annie even worse for wear because you won't be around after management sends you home for doing something stupid.

(Pacing back and forth, Laurel thinks all this over. She raises one hand to near her head, looking deeply conflicted. Leanne moves closer again, gauging Laurel, and goes for a hug. Laurel returns it, tentatively.)

Laurel Anne Hardy: ...you're right. You're both right. I'm sorry.

(She turns to look Chaz in the eyes.)

Laurel Anne Hardy: But we can't let people get away with messing with our #sparklebuddy like that. I'm not gonna do anything stupid, but I'm not lettin' it lie either.

Chaz Holiday: I don't want you to. I'm not going to let it slide either. I'm just as upset as you are. But I know that going on a manhunt isn't going to truly solve anything, in the end.

(She looks down at the floor then nods again once. She breaks off the hug with Evangelista to cross over and hug Chaz too.)

Laurel Anne Hardy: You're right. I'm sorry. I'll try to do this the right way, an' not... y'know... how I did things this time last year...

(She exhales unevenly as she lets the sentence hang. Chaz offers up a smile.)

Chaz Holiday: Good... Come on, let's go check on Annie and see if she needs anything.

Laurel Anne Hardy: Yep. Yeah... let's do that.

Evangelista: We should let someone know about this mess, too.

Laurel Anne Hardy: Ah... yeah.

(Laurel looks around at it, seeming to take it in for the first time, but not for long as Chaz and Leanne help her away from the room.)

Ash vs. Dean Stark

As the slow intro of “Harbor” begins to play, smoke fills the entrance ramp. We see a silhouette of a man behind the smoke, standing still.

“Call it a learning process

And I’ve never been that quick

Because I take things as they come

And I respond how I see fit”

The song gets heavier and Dean Stark enters through the smoke, receiving a negative reaction from the fans.

Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Dayton, Ohio! Weighing in at 228 pounds… DEAN STARK!

He marches towards the ring and steps on the apron, where he dusts off his boots and enters the ring through the ropes. In the ring, he takes his place in the corner, without any big theatrics, and prepares for the match.

Clement: We go from one match that was technically sound to another match that's going to be the exact opposite. Dean Stark is in the ring and he's looking to exchange punches with Ash.

Grayson: This guy is as mean and as nasty as they come. It's just like you said. This match won't be technically sound. There's not going to be alot of counters and reversals. It's going to get ugly. And since Ash is involved, you know a steel chair is going to come into play sooner or later...

The arena lights dim ever so slightly and turn to a mix of pink and purple as "Make a Move" by Icon for Hire begins playing.

Reaching ringside, Ash slide in under the bottom rope towards the middle of the ring and picks herself up with something of a flip to her feet.

Ready and waiting for her match, Ash jumps down from the middle turnbuckle finally.

Clement: Ash was mere moments away from becoming the first ever Rey del Aire winner. But Bob Pooler countered her finishing maneuver and then cheated to get the win.

Grayson: You and everyone else need to stop crying about what happened. This is professional wrestling. Worse things have happened than Bob Pooler putting his feet on the ropes.

Clement: Well I can tell you one thing. Ash won't be over it. If you think she's finished with Bob Pooler, then think again.

The bell sounds as Stark knocks down Ash with a yakuza kick to boos from the crowd. He then stands over Ash, reaches down, grabs her by the throat, hoists her back up to her feet and then launches her into the corner.

Clement: Stark wastes no time going after Ash.

Stark runs across the ring and connects with a clothesline. He then takes Ash and whips her into the opposite corner. Stark runs across the ring, but Ash nails him with an elbow to the face. As Stark stumbles back, Ash steps through the ropes and begins to climb the turnbuckles. But Stark runs back over and shoves her off, sending Ash down to the floor to boos from the crowd.

Grayson: There she goes!

Clement: Ash with a hard fall to the outside! This doens't look good for her...

Stark rolls to the outside, grabs Manny Cruz and pulls him from out of his chair. Stark then snatches up the chair and tosses it back into the ring to boos from the crowd. He then picks up Ash and rolls her back in. After rolling himself back in, Stark goes over and picks up the chair.

Clement: Oh boy...

Grayson: Here it comes...

As Ash slowly gets up, Stark begins to hit the chair against the canvas. When Ash turns around, Stark takes a big swing with the chair. But Ash ducks. When Stark turns around, Ash kicks the chair into his face to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Stark just got Ash'd! She makes the cover!

Stark kicks out.

Ash picks up Stark and knocks him into the corner with a series of forearm strikes to the face. She then brings Stark from out of the corner and goes for an irish whip. But Stark reverses, sending Ash into the ropes. When Ash comes back, Stark grabs her by the back of the neck and tosses her over the top rope…

… but Ash is able to hang onto the top rope with both hands. Stark sees this, so he marches over to knock her off. But Ash pulls herself up, wraps her legs around the Stark’s neck and pulls him over the top rope and to the floor. She then “skins the cat,” pulling herself over the top rope and back into the ring to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Nice display of athleticism there by Ash.

Grayson: It doesn't look like she's done yet...

As Stark gets up on the outside, Ash takes the chair, unfolds it and sits it back down. She then runs into the ropes. When Stark turns around, Ash runs across the ring, jumps onto the chair, leaps off the chair and connects with a somersault plancha to the floor.

Clement: Ash soars into the air and takes down Stark with a dive to the outside!

Ash picks up Stark and rolls him back into the ring. She then drags his upper body out onto the apron. While Stark is still down, Ash reaches under the ring and pulls out a steel chair to cheers from the crowd. After climbing back up onto the apron, Ash walks over, jumps up, places the chair underneath her and delivers a leg drop across Stark to cheers from the crowd. As Stark rolls back into the ring, Ash takes the chair from the outside and brings it back in with her. As Stark slowly gets up and turns around, Ash shoves the chair forward, nailing Stark right in the face with it to cheers from the crowd. As Stark stumbles into the corner, Ash takes the chair, runs across the ring, steps up onto the chair, jumps off, places the other chair underneath her feet and connects with a dropkick to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Ash just dropkicked that chair right in his face!

Grayson: How is that not a disqualification!?

After Stark crumbles out of the corner and falls to the floor, Ash takes the second chair, unfolds it and places it directly in front of the other chair. She then grabs Stark, drags him over and lays him across the chairs.

Grayson: What in the world is she doing here?

Ash points to the top rope before heading out onto the apron. After climbing up to the top turnbuckle, Ash flips off, connecting with Into Sunset through the chairs to cheers and applause from the crowd. She reaches back and hooks the leg.

Clement: Ash picks up the win by delivering a swanton on Stark through two chairs! As good as that win feels, it probably would have felt better if she had that Rey del Aire trophy.

Grayson: Well, better luck next time. That trophy is staying put. Her and everyone else just need to deal with it.

Sitting inside her locker room for the night was Cyncity. She stared blankly at the wall in front of her with her elbows resting on her knees to hold her head up. As the camera pans around just a bit, we see Cordelia Stevenson standing inside the locker room, looking directly at the detached Cyn.

Cyncity: I’m not gonna lie to you, Cordy. I haven’t been this nervous since… I don’t even know. Probably Legendary last year...

It must have been awhile since Cyn said something to Cordy because Cordy’s eyes immediately widened when she heard Cyn speak.

Cyncity: Like, I could feel the butterflies in my belly and stuff. It happened before the Lions Cup and Gold Rush, but it wasn’t this bad.

Cindy turns her head just enough to look at Cordy, pouting her lip as they lock eyes.

Cyncity: What if I mess up again? I’ll lose it, Cordy! I’ve done a really, really good job keeping my cool so far, but you know how I am. I get…

Cindy sighs.

Cyncity: Flustered. But third time’s the charm, right? Gold Rush, Lions Cup, and now this… A shot at the Pride championship. Third opportunity at gold---

Cindy pulls down her arms and turns her head to look directly at Cordy.

Cyncity: Oh noooo! The Dynamic Duos tournament! This is the fourth time! There isn’t gonna be any charms!

Cindy jumps out of her seat and walks toward Cordy, mustering up some tears before leaning her head onto Cordy’s shoulder.

Cyncity: Waaaah. I’m just gonna get my butt kicked for however long and come close but no cigars again! Waaaaaaaaah.

Cordy glances at her friend, surprised to see her so worked up.

Cordelia Stevenson: Hey, hey. hey! This is something you’ve worked hard for chica. Do you remember that conversation we had? And you said how you’ve busted your butt for months and all you wanted was an opportunity for a title. You wanted a one on one match, and guess what?

Cordy smiles.

Cordelia Stevenson: You got it chica. This is the moment you have been waiting for; the opportunity that you deserve. I know that you’re nervous. The day that you ever have a big match like this and aren’t nervous is probably the day that you should hang up the boots. It’s ok to be nervous Cyn. But you got this. I believe in ya chica. I know how badly you want this. I’ve seen the work you’ve put in to prepare for this and the world has watched your journey to this point.

She cups Cindy’s chin and lifts her head up so that she can look her in the eyes.

Cordelia Stevenson: This is your moment. Riley is a good friend of mine, and I know he’s going to be tough as hell to beat. But you’re my sister; and I know you’re capable of anything.

Cindy pouts a little and sniffles away the tears before she nods her head.

Cyncity: Okay. Yeah, you’re right. I can do this.

Cindy wipes the tears from her eyes and sniffles one last time before she shines off a smile.

Cyncity: I got thiiiiiiiiis! #GeorgeLopezVoice … I think…

Cordy wraps an arm around her friends shoulders and gives her a hug.

Cordelia Stevenson: I KNOW you can do this chica, which is exactly why I got ya a gift.

She says this as a sly smile crosses her face. She stands up and makes her way across the room towards her bag. Cindy stands still and watches Cordy, tilting her just a little to the side.

Cyncity: Cordy, please tell me you didn’t get me another car? I didn’t even get mine smashed up this time!

She crosses her arms and taps her foot off the ground.

Cyncity: If you got me another car I’m just giving it back to you. I don’t believe in takesie backsies, but giver backers is okay if the situation is right.

Cordy chuckles as she walks back towards Cyn with her hands hidden behind her back.

Cordelia Stevenson: Nope, no car this time around. But, I did want to give you these.

Cordy pulls her hands from behind her back and reveals what she’s holding inside of them. A box of cigars.
Cordelia Stevenson: You always say “close but no cigars” … well tonight, you get your cigars chica. Finally. And after you win that Pride championship, hell you know I don’t smoke, but I’ll even light one up with ya to celebrate.

Cindy gasps as Cordy brings forward the box of cigars.

Cyncity: Oh my goodness. Are these Cuban?!

Cindy grabs one out of the box and puckers it into her mouth and acts like a mob don.

Cyncity: THEY’RE ALL A BUNCH OF FUDGIN BUTTHEADS. YOU KNOW WHY? CAUSE THEY DON’T GOT THE GUTS TO BE WHAT THEY WANNA BE. CYNCITY? SHE DOESN’T HAS THAT PROBLEM. SHE ALWAYS TELL THE TRUFF. THAS WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT. THAT’S WHY IT WORK SO GOOD FOR CYN-CITY?

She rips the cigar from her mouth.

Cyncity: SO THEY COULD POINT THEY FUDGIN’ FINGAZ. AND CALL ME THAT GUY?!

She sticks the cigar back in between her lips and takes a puff despite it not being lit. Somehow, Cyncity exhaled smoke...or possibly cold air?

Cyncity: YOU NEED PEOPLE LIKE ME! SO YOU COULD POINT YOUR FUDGIN’ FINGERS AND SAY… THAT’S THE BAD GUY!

Realizing she may have had watched Scarface too many times, Cindy sets the cigar to her side and chuckles.

Cyncity: I’d be a horrible bad guy.

Cordy just watches Cyn’s reenactment of the famous scene with a smirk; just happy to see her friend loosening up a bit.

Cordelia Stevenson: Yeah, you really would.

Cordy chuckles.

Cordelia Stevenson: But there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. Sometimes the good guys -- or in this case, girls; do win and tonight, you’re proof of that.

Cindy smiles before shaking out whatever doubts she had in her head.

Cyncity: I hope so.

Cindy picks up her phone and glances at the time.

Cyncity: Oh, jeeze. Time to go…

Cindy sighs with some lip flapping while Cordy just chuckles

Cyncity: Okay… Phew…. Okay…

She looks up at Cordy and smiles.

Cyncity: Lets do this.

Cindy locks eyes with Cordy one last time before they nod their heads and Cindy exits the picture. Cordy looks on with a smile on her face, nodding her before we fade to black.

Chris Madison vs. Nico Touza

'Luck be a Lady' by Frank Sinatra tears through the arena, accompanied by a selection of green, white and red strobe lighting, signalling the arrival of “The Young Don” himself. He springs onto the stage from behind the curtain, looking enthusiastic and full of energy ahead of this fight. The mere sight of Nico Touza evokes a positive reaction from the audience here this evening, but the Italian American innovator doesn't seem fazed by it either way.

Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from New York City, New York! Weighing in at 224 pounds… NICO TOUZA!

Clement: Nico Touza is looking to get back on the winning horse after coming up short in the Battle Royal.

Grayson: Nico almost had the match won. But it was Seth Lawless who bested him and everyone else in that match.

The young fighter runs down the remainder of the ramp and slides underneath the bottom rope, only to leap to his feet and strike a confident crucifix pose to the audience in attendance. Touza removes his Aviator shades and tosses them into the crowd, before indulging in some last second stretches.

“Immortal” by Eve To Adam cuts through the venue’s P.A. system causing the FGA faithful to stir, focusing on the backstage curtain which has a red strobe light . After the opening chorus the heavy drums and guitar riffs pick up, Chris Madison steps out. He stops right outside of the curtain with a black towel over his head and he looks down towards the ground beneath his feet. Madison reaches up and snatches the towel from atop of his head, dropping it to the floor. He holds his arms outstretched horizontally and roars, bringing both of his fists up to his face and hitting himself on the jaw before charging to the ring.

Cruz: And his opponent, from Long Island, New York! Weighing in at 220 pounds… CHRIS “MAYHEM” MADISON!

He slides under the bottom rope and hops to his feet, immediately marching to the nearest corner. Madison ascends the corner and stands firmly on the second turnbuckle facing the fans. Madison eye's down the fans and mouths off before jumping backwards off of the ropes.

Clement: Here's Chris Madison, who is fresh off that attack on young Annie Zellor last night. But he wasn't alone. His partner Tommy Knox is just as guilty.

Grayson: Aw, the poor thing. Listen up. This is professional wrestling. This isn't ballet. If Annie doesn't like what happened to her, then maybe this business isn't cut out for her.

Clement: Annie's tough. She's shown that she can hang with a lot of name talent. But what happened last night wasn't inside the ring. It was an unprovoked, two on one attack backstage. The Black Hand should be ashamed of themselves!

The bell sounds as Madison runs over, delivers a single leg pick up and rams Touza back-first into the corner. The crowd boos as Madison delivers a series of shoulder thrusts, followed by a series of knee strikes to the midsection.

Grayson: Madison's roughing Touza up almost as bad as he did Annie last night.

Madison brings Touza from out of the corner and tries to lift him up for the Backiotomy. But Touza hangs onto his leg. So Madison lets go and delivers a series of clubbing strikes to the back. He then grabs Touza around the waist and goes for another Backiotomy. But this time, Touza sandbangs by dropping down to one knee. So Madison lets go and delivers a high knee lift, knocking Touza down.

Madison picks up Touza and whips him into the ropes. When Touza comes back, Madison throws him down with an overhead belly to belly suplex to boos from the crowd. As Touza sits up and arches his back in pain, Madison runs over and delivers a stiff kick to the small of the back. He then picks up Touza and whips him hard into the corner. The turnbuckles rattle as Touza’s back collides with them. As Touza stumbles from out of the corner, Madison knocks him down with a falling clothesline. He makes the cover.

Madison picks up Touza and shoves him into the ropes. After Touza bounces off the ropes and stumbles back, Madison delivers a half nelson suplex to boos from the crowd. He heads over and makes the cover.

Madison picks up Touza, applies a Muay Thai Clinch and delivers several knee strikes to the face. He then turns Touza around, grabs him from behind and delivers a German Suplex. Madison rolls over, pulls Touza back to his feet and delivers another German Suplex to boos from the crowd. Madison rolls over, pulls Touza back to his feet and delivers a third German Suplex to boos from the crowd. Madison rolls over, pulls Touza up to his feet, turns Touza around and delivers the Backiotomy to boos from the crowd. Madison then goes over and applies the Peruvian necktie. Touza quickly taps out to boos from the crowd.

“Immortal” blares throughout the arena as the crowd erupts in boos.

Cruz: Here is your winner, CHRIS MADISON!

Madison gets his arm raised to boos from the crowd.

Clement: Nico Touza tried to mount a comeback. But Chris Madison was just too much. He controlled the majority of this contest. Just when you thought Touza could pull this one out, Madison shut him down and tapped him with the Peruvian Necktie.

Grayson: I hope Annie and Laurel get a copy of this DVD. What just happened in that ring to Touza will happen to them sooner or later. That little attack last night what just the start...

[The chorus of “This Is The New Shit” by Marilyn Manson begins to blare on the sound system as Joshua Black steps out from behind the curtain. Wearing an un-tucked bright yellow button up shirt, and black jeans Joshua walks out smiling at the crowd amid all the boos radiating from them. He walks up the steps and climbs to the second turnbuckle, smiling at the crowd. He jumps down and walks towards the center of the ring, microphone in hand.]

JB: Now, I KNOW you all missed me! You haven’t heard from me in awhile, and I know, you all feel deprived. And for that, I’m sorry. I, admittedly, had been in a bit of a funk. It started when I lost MY Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship. I tried to focus my attention elsewhere. On my next match. My next goal. But, personal issues distracted me. I couldn’t multitask. I couldn’t do what I do better than ANYONE ELSE and come in this ring and out-wrestle, and out-perform every single wrestler in this company. Hell, the WORLD! And you all deserve better than that. Well, maybe not… But, I apologize for DEPRIVING you of seeing THE BEST WRESTLER IN THE WORLD come out here every show, and bust his ass, stealing the show, no matter who else was in the ring with me. EVERY TIME I’m in this ring, I put on a classic. I don’t give a shit WHO it is. Whether it’s a one-on-one, one of those many multiple person matches they’ve thrown me in. Tags, battle royales, I DON’T CARE! Every time I’m in this ring, the one thing I know is regardless of what happens later on in the show, all the people are talking about how JOSHUA BLACK put on another fucking classic.

[Joshua pauses as there’s a mixed reaction from the crowd. A smattering of both applause and boos.]

JB: Now, the big question I know all of you have, because I’ve been hearing it for quite a bit now, is what’s next for Joshua Black. Sure, there’s plenty of options. But, let’s be realistic here. I’m back to get what was taken from me. I’m sure I’m going to hear all the bullshit about how I lost to Chaz Holiday “fair and square” in that cage. I’m sure I’m going to hear how I never should’ve won the championship to begin with. Yada.. Yada.. Yada.. I’ll admit, when we stepped into the ring that night, we gave our all. We left everything in that ring that night. But did you SEE the lengths that Chaz had to go through to beat me?? The man tried everything. Every move he had. Everything in his arsenal, and he COULD NOT PUT ME AWAY! So, he risked his career. He risked his LIFE! He went up to the top and pulled a moonsault out of his ass that I never saw coming. And, yes, he beat me.

[Huge pop from the crowd as they chant, “YOU GOT BEAT!!!”]

JB: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So here we are. Since I’ve been gone, what’s happened? Chaz was so focused on everything else going on in his world, both in and out of the ring, that MY title has not been defended in how long? He’s just pushed it to the side, like it’s nothing. Well, unfortunately for him, that championship means a LOT MORE to me, and as I’ve proven before, I will do ANYTHING to get it BACK around my waist. So, you know the game, Chaz. You’ve felt nice and safe the past couple months, but it’s time to start going back to constantly looking over your shoulder. Time to start peeking around corners and holding on to belt as tight as you possibly can… because Joshua Black is back. Oh, say hi to your woman for me… and let her know I’m single now.

[Joshua Black winks into the camera as he drops the mic and leaves the ring as “This Is The New Shit” starts to play again.]

The Veronicas' "Revolution" comes over the speakers. During the first vocal line Evangelista emerges through the curtain slowly, with a focused look on her face. She closes her eyes for a second, then begins the walk to the ring, absently tagging outstretched hands while trying to psyche herself up for the task ahead.

Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from St. Helens, England! Weighing in at 135 pounds! She is “The Prodigal Daughter,” EVANGELISTA!

After rolling under the bottom rope she crosses over to a corner and climbs up, posing for just a second before moonsaulting back down to the ring. She takes her corner and crosses herself, then begins shaking her limbs out in readiness for the coming match.

Clement: Even though she lost in the quarterfinals of the Frontier Lions Cup, Evangelista put up one hell of a fight against Cyncity.

Grayson: She did. But anyone with half a brain knows that Evangelista can only go so far without Laurel. Look at Annie Zellor. She was nothing but a twerp before Laurel. Now, she's a Tag Team Champion. What's Evangelista doing? Desperately trying to get out of Laurel's shadow. If I were Evangelista, I'd be hoping that attack from The Black Hand puts Annie out of commission. That way, she can slide right in and take her place. Not only would she finally become a champion, but she'd become part of a better team. As annoying as they are, the Sparklebuddies are so much better than Dragons Unleashed.

The guitars begin to sound as "American High" by Machine Head plays over the speakers. The lights dim and the entrance stage fills with smoke as bright green and white strobe lights flicker over the building. The guitars in the intro begin to scream heavily as it echoes over the building. A bright white light shines from the entrance way as the silhouette of a man stands there. The guitars then begin to play heavy as Tommy Knox walks out from the back and out into the open. He stands there on the stage for a moment with his arms by his side as he looks over the building before moving his body with the music and banging his head. He then begins to walk down the aisle as a loud voice fills the air.

The song continues to play over the speakers with power as Knox slowly approaches the ring. He then slides into the ring and climbs to his feet. He walks around the ring for a moment just before walking over to the corner and looking over the crowd once more. He then climbs the turnbuckle and holds his arms out looking above pumping his fist with the music. He then jumps down and spins around facing the center of the ring by the time he lands on his feet. Bouncing back and forth, staring across the ring in the opposing corner, Knox prepares himself as the music slowly begins to fade.

Clement: Tommy Knox is real proud of himself. He's real proud of that him and Chris Madison did a number on Annie Zellor.

Grayson: I'd be proud to. They beat down one half of the Tag Champs in one fell swoop. If Laurel's doesn't watch herself, she'll be next.

The bell sounds as Knox walks up to Evangelista and shoves her in the face to boos from the crowd. But the boos turn to cheers as Evangelista fires back with a forearm strike to the face. She then takes Knox and goes for an irish whip. But Knox reverses, sending Evangelista into the ropes. When Evangelista comes back, Knox bends over to set up a back body drop. But Evangelista counters with a sunset flip to cheers from the crowd.

After both grapplers gets back to their feet, Evangelista delivers an arm wringer and follows up with a fireman’s carry takeover to cheers from the crowd. Knox gets back up, but Evangelista delivers another arm wringer and follows up with an arm drag to cheers from the crowd. Knox gets back up, but Evangelista delivers another arm wringer, followed by a series of clubbing shots to the arm. She then takes Knox and whips him into the ropes. When Knox comes back, Evangelista knocks him down with a jumping enzuigiri to cheers from the crowd. She makes the cover.

Evangelista picks up Madison and whips him into the corner. She then sizes him up before running into the corner and connecting with a clothesline to cheers from the crowd. Evangelista follows up with a series of Battlegrounds Uppercuts that daze Knox. She then takes Knox and whips him into the opposite corner. Evangelista then runs across the ring, hops onto Knox and monkey flips him out of the corner to cheers from the crowd. As Knox arches his back in pain, Evangelista steps through the ropes and begins to climb the turnbuckles. When Knox turns over and gets up to his feet, Evangelista leaps off and connects with a missile dropkick to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Evangelista has been in control of this match from the get go and now she's got him reeling.

Evangelista then picks up Knox, lifts him up across her shoulders and delivers a Headbreaker to cheers from the crowd. She makes the cover.

Grayson: The ref got pulled to the outside!

The ref gets dragged to the outside by Chris Madison. Once Madison gets in the ring and starts attacking Evangelista, the ref calls for the bell.

(The referee calls for the bell as Madison slides into the ring, catching Evangelista off guard. He drives a stiff boot into the side of the head, hard enough to knock her off Tommy Knox. The crowd are on their feet booing and jeering, loud enough to drown out the continued ringing of the timekeeper’s bell as Madison continues stomping away.)

Clement: This is uncalled for. Leanne Evangelista had this match won when Chris Madison made the save for his partner.

Grayson: And now for the second night in a row The Black Hand are having some fun.

(Knox rises back to his feet and joins in the assault, stomping and kicking away at the prone Evangelista as she tries to cover up as best she can. But to no avail. Madison relents, taking the opportunity to lift his prey to her feet as he hooks up from behind a rear waistlock. Knox sets off running against the ropes as the crowd burst into cheers!)

Clement: Here come the #sparklebuddies!

(Laurel Anne Hardy and Annie Zellor rush down the aisle as Knox bails out of the ring, escaping out under the bottom rope on the far side of the ring. His partner, however, is not so lucky. Madison is caught by a back elbow to the face from Evangelista, breaking the waistlock as Zellor slides into the ring. She makes a beeline for Knox, pulling a #grrface at him through the ropes. Laurel has in her hand the same metal pole we saw her with earlier; she slides into the ring and catches Madison square between the shoulder blades with a vicious shot. It sends him to his knees as Laurel swings again, this time going for the head!)

Grayson: She’s swinging for the fences, Kevin!

(Chris Madison manages to get an arm up, taking the brunt of the impact before he high tails it out of the ring, rolling out under the bottom rope. He’s clutching at that arm as he’s met by Tommy Knox in the aisle way, the Black Hand members staring up at the three women in the ring. Hardy leans over the top rope, pointing at them with the metal pole. Suddenly rage flashes back across her face and she starts to step through the ropes again, clearly intending to give chase, but Zellor grabs her arm and holds her back. After a moment of visible internal conflict Hardy backs into the ring again and crosses over to check on Evangelista. Annie pulls a #grrface at the two men in the aisle, pointing down at her ribs, which are bruised as a result of the attack last night in Columbus. Madison and Knox both smirk as they make their way back up the aisle, making the belt gesture around their waists.)

The beginning of "Nobody's Perfect" by Hannah Montana plays over the sound system until it's cut off by a static. The lights in the arena dim down to nothing as the static is replaced by the sounds of a power clap coming from through the audience.

"One! Two! Three! Four!
Everybody makes mistakes! Everybody has those days!
Everybody knows what what I'm talkin' 'bout!
Everybody gets that way!"

When the beat kicks in heavily, Cyncity bursts out onto the ramp with her arms out to her side, pretending to be an airplane as she runs up and down the top of the ramp. When she's done messing around, she smiles and makes her way back to the top of the ramp. She stands at there for a moment, scanning the crowd, and feeding from their energy before she makes her way down the ramp, throwing her right arm in the air, taking in the audience's cheers.. She stops midway down the ramp and scans the crowd one more time, nodding her head and giving the audience a round of applause. She spins in a circle and does her trademark Sex Sells pose, her arms in the air, and buttom pushed out. Fans in attendance are heard whistling in her direction, as she breaks her pose and blows kisses to the audience. She slaps the hands of a few lucky fans, and even gives a few of them a hug as she marches her way down the ramp. She finally pulls away from the fans then continues her quickened pace toward the ring.

She slides into the ring and crawls toward the middle before getting to her feet. She blows a kiss at the crowd and climbs up to the middle rope, throwing her arms in the air and taking in the ovations with a grin on her face. Finally, she hops back into the ring and walks over to her corner, stretching out her limbs and waiting for the match to begin.

Clement: Since coming to FGA, Cindy Parker has proven that she's not just a tag team wrestler. She's proven that she doesn't have to rely on anyone. You'd be hard pressed to find a grappler here in FGA who has had more critically acclaimed matches this year than her. But the one thing that is missing right now is championship gold. Will this be the night that everything comes together for Cyncity? Can she become the next Pride Champion?

"De(v)tails" by A Bullet for Pretty Boy begins to play over the speakers. Owens walks out onto the entrance ramp and look at the crowd. He adjusts his wrist tape and then slowly walks down the ramp. Owens walks around the ring once and wipes his boots before sliding into the ring. Owens climbs the nearest turnbuckle and raises a fist. He hops off, adjust his kickpads, and waits for the match to start.

Clement: Riley Owens has had a breakout year in 2014. He's toured the independents. He's won accolades and championships in nearly everyone promotion he's competed for. But the one prize that he holds in the highest regard is the Pride Championship. Riley was able to tear that championship away from the vice grip that Jimmy Page had on that belt. Since then, he's successfully retained the championship against Jared James. He's fought and defeated other grapplers in non-title action. But tonight, he faces arguably his toughest and hungriest opponent since winning the title in Cindy Parker. Does Riley Owens have the answer to beat Cyncity tonight? Let's send it to the ring...

Cruz: The following contest will be fought under Pride Rules and it is for the FGA Pride Championship!

(Cheers and applause can be heard throughout the crowd.)

Cruz: Introducing first, the challenger! From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! Weighing in at 127 pounds… CYNCITY!

Crowd: CYNCITY! CYNCITY! CYNCITY! CYNCITY! CYNCITY!...

Cruz: And her opponent, now residing out of Miami, Florida! Weighing in at 200 pounds! He is the reigning… defending… FGA Pride Champion! Ladies and gentlemen, RILEY OWENS!

Crowd: RILEY! RILEY! RILEY! RILEY! RILEY!...

The ref brings both grapplers to the center of the ring and goes over the Pride Rules. Once he’s finished, he gives both grapplers the opportunity to shake hands, which they take. After motioning both competitors back to their respective corners, the ref raises the Pride Championship for all sides of the crowd to see. Once he hands the belt off to someone on the outside, he asks Cyncity if she’s ready. Cyncity nods. He asks Riley if he’s ready. Riley nods. The ref then calls for the bell.

Clement: And here we go!

The bell sounds as Riley and Cyncity circle the ring before locking up. Cyncity places Riley in a side headlock. But Riley is able to shove her off of him and into the ropes. When Cyncity comes back, Riley knocks her down with a standing shoulder block. He then runs into the ropes as Cyncity kips up to her feet. When Riley comes back, Cyncity leap frogs over him. Riley then continues to run into the ropes. When Riley comes back, Cyncity knocks him down with a dropkick to cheers from the crowd. Riley gets back up, but Cyncity throws him down with an arm drag and transitions into a shoulder lock.

The ref asks Riley if he wants to give up. But Riley refuses to quit. After battling his way back up to his feet, Riley grabs Cyncity by the arm and reverses into an arm wringer of his own to cheers from the crowd. Cyncity then rolls forward, leans back, kips up, flips over, cartwheels over and follows up with an arm drag to cheers from the crowd. Riley gets back up, but Cyncity throws him down with another arm drag to cheers from the crowd. As Riley gets up, Cyncity grabs him and delivers an arm wringer. But Riley quickly reverses into an arm wringer of his own, follows up with a fireman’s carry takeover and transitions into a shoulder lock.

Clement: Both grapplers appear to be evenly matched in the early goings of this one.

Grayson: They are. Cyncity needs to get back on her feet and keep the match on her feet. Her speed and her agility are her biggest weapons and she needs to exploit them. With Riley, it's his striking and his submissions. If he can keep Cyncity grounded, then great. If not, he can always knock her out. We've seen him connect with Unnecessary Roughness on many opponents. If he hits it in this one, it's lights out.

The ref asks Cyncity if she wants to give up. But Cyncity refuses to quit. After battling her way back up to her feet, Riley moves her into the ropes. He then shoves her into the opposite set of ropes. When Cyncity comes back, Riley throws out a high roundhouse kick. But Cyncity ducks and runs into the ropes. When Riley turns around, Cyncity knocks him down with a cross body to cheers from the crowd.

As Riley scrambles to get back to his feet, Cyncity places him in a side headlock. The ref asks Riley if he wants to give up. But Riley wags his finger at him. So Cyncity performs a standing switch, turning into a hammerlock from behind. But Riley reaches back and reverses into a side headlock. Cyncity then slips out and reverses into a hammerlock of her own. But Riley quickly leans forward and reverses into a hammerlock of his own. Cyncity then reaches back with her free arm, grabs Riley and throws him down with a jumping snapmare to cheers from the crowd.. Riley gets up, but Cyncity takes him down with a side headlock takeover. Riley quickly reverses into a leg scissors headlock. But Cyncity is able to escape with a kip up. Riley then scrambles back up to his feet. But Cyncity brings him back down with another side headlock takeover. Riley then reverses into another leg scissors headlock. But Cyncity escapes with a kip up.

As Riley rushes to get back up to a vertical base, Cyncity brings him back down with yet another side headlock takeover. Riley reaches up and reverses into a leg scissors headlock. Cyncity goes to counter with a kip up. But she fails as Riley keeps the hold locked on. After trying to press up on one of Riley’s legs, Cyncity goes for another kip up. But again, Riley keeps the hold locked on tight. Cyncity begins to shift around on the canvas, turning from side to side before turning over onto her knees. She then presses down on Riley’s legs, slowly slips out and counters with a dropkick to cheers from the crowd. She makes the cover.

As Riley gets up, Cyncity grabs him and goes for an irish whip. But Riley reverses, sending Cyncity into the ropes. When Cyncity comes back, she goes to slide through Riley’s legs. But Riley squats down, grabs Cyncity around the waist and lifts her back up to her feet. He then goes for a German Suplex. But Cyncity flips over his back and lands on her feet. She then runs into the ropes. When Riley turns around, Cyncity throws him down with a swinging hurricanrana to cheers from the crowd. As Riley gets up, Cyncity runs over and connects with a front dropkick, sending him stumbling through the ropes and onto the apron. As Riley goes to pull himself up using the ropes, Cyncity runs over towards the corner and goes for a triangle dropkick. But Riley ducks. As Cyncity gets back up, Riley delivers a shoulder thrust through the ropes. He then reaches over the ropes, grabs Cyncity and goes for a vertical suplex to the outside. But Cyncity blocks the move. So Riley tightens his grip and goes for another suplex to the outside. But again, Cyncity blocks the move. Cyncity then goes to try and suplex Riley back into the ring to cheers from the crowd. But Riley flutters kicks his legs, blocking the move and forcing Cyncity drop him. Riley then grabs a hold of Cyncity and goes for a vertical suplex to the outside. But Cyncity slips down from behind and lands of her feet. She quickly grabs Riley by his ankles and yanks him off the apron. Riley then smacks his faces against the apron on the way down.

Grayson: Ouch!

Clement: Riley smacks his head hard against the apron. That cannot feel good at all...

While Riley turns over and tries to shake out the cobwebs, Cyncity slides back into the ring and then runs into the ropes. Once Riley gets up and turns around, Cyncity connects with a baseball slide to cheers from the crowd. Riley stumbles back against the guard rail. As Riley bounces off the guard rail and stumbles back towards the ring, Cyncity knocks him down with a spiraling cross body to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Cindy connects with that spiral dive to the outside!

Grayson: Riley might still be woozy after hitting his head against the apron.

Cyncity picks up Riley, rolls him back into the ring, rolls herself back in and makes the cover.

Clement: That's one rope break now gone for Riley. He's got two left.

Cyncity picks up Riley and goes for an irish whip. When Riley comes back, Cyncity bends over to set up a back body drop. But Riley stops, applies a Muay Thai Clinch and delivers a series of alternating knee lifts to cheers from the crowd. He follows up the combo with a jumping knee lift, sending Cyncity down to one knee to cheers from the crowd. As Cyncity appears dazed, Riley’s eyes open wide before running into the ropes.

Clement: Riley could be looking to win the first fall here...

When Riley comes back, he goes for Unnecessary Roughness. But Cyncity rolls out of the way. When Riley turns around, Cyncity runs over towards him. But Riley counters with a rolling solebutt to the midsection, followed by a shoot kick to back of the thigh. As Cynity is knocked down to one knee, Riley connects with a shoot kick to the back of the her, knocking her down to cheers from the crowd. Riley turns her over and makes the cover.

Riley picks up Cyncity and moves her into the ropes. After hooking Cyncity’s arms over the top ropes, Riley delivers a series of Muay Thai Kicks to the torso. He then unhooks her arms, grabs her and whip her into the opposite corner. Riley then runs across the ring and connects with a jumping knee strike in the corner. After Riley brings Cyncity from out of the corner, he lifts her up for a brainbuster. But Cyncity knees him in the head on the way up, causing Riley to bring her back down. Cyncity quickly follows up with a step-up enzuigiri, causing Riley to flip over to cheers from the crowd. She makes the cover.

Riley picks up Cyncity and delivers four forearm strikes to the head. He then applies a Muay Thai Clinch followed by four knee lifts. Riley then lifts up Cyncity and plants her with a brainbuster. Riley turns her over and makes the cover.

When he comes back, he connects with Unnecessary Roughness to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Clement: Riley's now up one fall to zero.

Grayson: Cyncity could only take so many strikes to the head. That last kick by Riley was enough for three. For her sake, she better hope that she can snap back into this soon. This rest period only lasts for so long.

After the 30 second rest period ends, the bell sounds. Cyncity slowly pulls herself up using the ropes. She tries to shake out the cobwebs. Cyncity then nods when the ref asks her if she's okay. Both grapplers circle the ring before locking up. Riley quickly places her in a side headlock. But Cyncity is able to shove Riley off of her and into the ropes. When Riley comes back, Cyncity leap frogs over him. When Cyncity turns around, Riley throws her down with a side headlock takeover. Cyncity then reaches up and reverses into a leg scissors headlock. After turning over onto his knees, Riley slips out and quickly throws out Unnecessary Roughness. But Cyncity leans back to move out of the way, quickly leans back up and rolls up Riley with a school boy.

Grayson: Cyncity countered that kick of Riley's with a school boy. But Riley was able to kick out of that and counter into a crossface.

The ref asks Cyncity if she wants to give up. But Cyncity refuses to quit. She reaches out towards the ropes. But she’s out of reach. So Riley continues to pull back, increasing the pressure of the hold.

Clement: Riley's tugging away. After taking all those strikes to the head, how much more can Cyncity take?

Cyncity tries to crawl towards the ropes. She then tries to position herself next to the ropes. Cyncity then reaches her left leg out… and places it across the bottom rope to cheers from the crowd. The ref then gives Riley until the count of five to break the hold.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Riley lets go.

Riley picks up Cyncity, leans her up against the ropes and delivers a series of knees to the midsection. But Cyncity is able to catch Riley’s leg on the last knee attempt. She then drags Riley away from the ropes to cheers from the crowd. After turning Riley away from her, Cyncity lifts up Riley, delivers an atomic drop and follows up with a superkick, sending him stumbling through the ropes and to the floor. As Riley gets up on the outside, Cyncity runs into the ropes. When Cyncity comes back, she leaps through the ropes and knocks him down with a suicide dive. Cyncity picks Riley back up and rolls him back into the ring. As Riley gets back up, Cyncity climbs up onto the apron and motions for him to turn around. When Riley turns around, Cyncity knocks him down with a springboard clothesline to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Cyncity picks up Riley and goes for an irish whip. But Riley reverses, sending Cyncity into the ropes. But instead of bouncing back, Cyncity hangs onto the ropes. So Riley runs over towards her. But Cyncity nails him with an elbow to the face. Cyncity then slingshots herself out onto the apron before connecting with a slingshot dropkick to cheers from the crowd. As Riley gets up, Cyncity runs up from behind and hops onto Riley’s shoulders for the Cynderana. But again, Riley pushes her up off his shoulders. But instead of landing in front of Riley, Cyncity lands behind Riley, grabs him from behind and delivers the Glitter Driver to cheers from the crowd. While Riley’s down, Cyncity steps through the ropes and points to the top turnbuckle. The crowd cheers. So Cyncity obliges by climbing the turnbuckles. Once Cyncity reaches the top turnbuckle, Cyncity flips off and goes for the Standing Ovation. But Riley rolls out of the way. After Cyncity lands on her feet, her momentum sends her rolling forward. Once Cyncity rolls up to her feet, she turns around and runs towards Riley. But Riley delivers a rolling soelbutt to the midsection, doubling her over. Riley then lifts her up and delivers a fireman’s carry into a double knee gutbuster. While Cyncity is down on all fours, Riley stands over her, wraps his arms around her waist and delivers an Everest German Suplex to cheers from the crowd.

A Riley rolls away from the ropes, Cyncity steps through the ropes and climbs up to the top turnbuckle. As Riley slowly gets up, Cyncity leaps off and takes him down with the Mugshot to cheers from the crowd. She then pulls Riley up from behind, hops onto his shoulders and delivers the Cynderana to cheers from the crowd. She makes the cover.

Grayson: It's come down to the third and final fall. This is anyone's match now.

After the 30 second rest period ends, Cyncity heads over to Riley, moves him into the corner and unleashes a series of knife-edge of chops that echo throughout the arena. She then takes Riley and goes for an irish whip. But Riley reverses, sending Cyncity into the ropes. Riley then runs across the ring. But he gets caught with an elbow to the face to cheers from the crowd. As Riley stumbles back, Cyncity stumbles back and climbs up to the top turnbuckles. But before she can hit the Emphatic Whispers, Riley dives into the corner and pulls down on the top rope, causing Cyncity to slip, fall and land on the top turnbuckle. Riley then climbs up to the top ropes, lifts up Cyncity and goes for an avalanche belly to back suplex. But Cyncity turns in mid air, falling across Riley to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: So close there...

Cyncity picks up Riley and goes for an irish whip. But Riley reverses, sending her into the ropes. When Cyncity comes back, Riley goes for a back body drop. But Cyncity slips down from behind, grabs Riley and delivers a Glitter Driver to cheers from the crowd. She makes the cover.

Grayson: That was close!

Cyncity picks up Riley and whips him into the corner. Cyncity then runs into the corner and connects with a dropkick to cheers from the crowd. As Riley stumbles out of the corner, Cyncity climbs up onto the middle ropes. When Riley turns around, Cyncity flips off and delivers a blockbuster to cheers from the crowd. She turns over and makes the cover.

Cyncity steps out onto the apron and waits for Riley to get up. Once Riley gets back to his feet and turns around, Cyncity delivers a shoulder thrust through the ropes, followed by a slingshot DDT to cheers from the crowd. She makes the cover.

Riley gets his foot on the bottom rope.

Clement: Riley again just beats the three count.

Grayson: But that's the second rope break he's used. He's only got one left.

Cyncity steps through the ropes and begins to climb the turnbuckles. But Riley quickly gets back to his feet, grabs Cyncity and throws her down with a slam. Riley then goes over, picks up Cyncity, places her in a cravat and delivers a series of knee strikes to the head. He follows up with a cravat suplex to cheers from the crowd. Riley then picks up Cyncity and whips her hard chest-first into the corner. As Cyncity stumbles back, Riley delivers an Everest German Suplex to cheers from the crowd.

But Riley doesn’t let go. He turns over, pulls Cyncity back up, hooks Cyncity’s arms from behind and delivers a bridging tiger suplex to cheers from the crowd.

But again, Riley doesn’t let go. He turns over, pulls her up, transitions into a full nelson from behind and follows up with a bridging dragon suplex to cheers from the crowd.

Riley picks up Cyncity and delivers a series of alternating forearm strikes to the head, followed by a rolling solebutt to the midsection. While Cyncity is doubled over, Riley lifts her up for another brainbuster. But Cyncity slips down from behind, hops onto Riley’s back and applies a sleeper hold with bodyscissors to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Sleeper! She's got the sleeper applied!

Riley is reaching for for the ropes. But he’s nowhere near them. So he reaches up, grabs Cyncity and delivers a sitout jawbreaker, breaking the hold. He turns over and makes the cover.

But Cyncity nails him with an elbow to the face, sending him stumbling back. While Riley is dazed, Cyncity springboards to the top turnbuckle, flips off and connects with the Emphatic Whispers to cheers from the crowd. She makes the cover.

Cyncity picks up Riley, knees him in the midsection and kisses him on the cheek before running into the ropes. When she comes back, she turns Riley inside out with Beauty and the Knee to cheers from the crowd. She turns Riley over and makes the cover.

Cyncity picks up Riley and nails him with a forearm strike. Riley comes back with a forearm strike of his own. Cyncity delivers another forearm strike. Riley comes back with another forearm strike. Cyncity then delivers another forearm strike. She quickly beats Riley to the punch and delivers another forearm strike… and another… and another… and another… and another. While Riley is dazed, Cyncity goes for a step-up enzuigiri. But Riley ducks. As Cyncity gets back up, Riley delivers a knee to the side of the head. He then quickly reaches down, grabs Cyncity from behind and pulls back, locking her in the Katahajime.

Clement: White Noise! Riley's got White Noise locked on!

Riley applies a bodyscissors as he cinches in the hold. Cyncity tries to fight out of it. But Riley’s got the hold locked on. She tries to reach out and grabs the ropes.

Clement: Cyncity's trying to grab the ropes. But she's nowhere near them! Riley's got White Noise locked on tight! He's got his legs wrapped around her! She's got nowhere to go!

Cyncity continues to try and fight. But the longer Riley keeps the hold applied, the slower Cyncity’s movements get.

Grayson: She's fading! I think she's fading, Kev!

The ref asks Cyncity if she wants to give up. But she doesn’t answer. So the ref raises her arm. It falls down. The ref then raises her arm a second time and lets go. The arm falls again. The ref raises Cyncity’s arm for a third time and lets go. The arm falls and hits the canvas. The ref calls for the bell as the crowd cheers.

"De(v)tails" blasts over the PA as the crowd explodes in cheers.

Cruz: Here is your winner and STILL the FGA Pride Champion, RILEY OW--

Sunshine Scandalous Tony Carmine knocks down Riley from behind with a clothesline as the crowd erupts in boos.

Clement: Tony Carmine!? What the hell is he doing here!? He wasn't scheduled for this show!

After putting the boots to Riley, Tony goes over and picks up the Pride Championship. He looks at the belt, then back at Riley, then back at the bell.

Clement: What the hell is he up to!? He shouldn't even be holding that belt!

Tony takes the championship belt, reaches down and wraps the championship around his knee.

Clement: What is he about to do here!?

As Riley slowly gets up on one knee, Tony runs over and nails Riley with #PimpShit using the belt-wrapped knee. The crowd erupts in boos as Riley is out cold.

Clement: Tony just kneed Riley right in the face using that title belt!

Grayson: And it looks like Riley's nose has just been busted open!

Tony unwraps the belt from around his waist. "Graceful Jewelry Removal" blares throughout the arena as Tony stands over Riley. He then raises the Pride Championship in the air with one hand and points to himself with the other as the crowd erupts in boos...
