Attire: Block wears ring gear similar to Rhino or Angle. His gear is all black. On the front, in bricks, it reads BLOCK. On the back, it reads VANDER in script. Block has several tattoos. His shoulders have skulls with script under each that reads War and on the other The Answer. He has the word Violence down his left forearm, pain on his right bicep, and VANDER across his chest. On his back, there is a tattoo of an eagle devouring a snake which is presumed to be something he had done in the marines. His firearms are both incorporated full sleeves. He wears black elbow pads, black knee pads, black mma gloves and black boots with grenades in grey on each side.
Bio:
After returning home to Chicago after Desert Storm, Block Vander (real name Charles Earl Vander) renewed his life of crime and punishment on the streets that raised him. Vander was given the name "Block" because he moved around a lot in Chicago, but no matter where he was, he would quickly own that block! Wrestling became a natural fit for Block as he was quoted saying, "you wanna pay me to break people's bones, and I wont end up in a jail cell for once? Sign me up you poor f***!" Block has no compassion, no friends, and will show you no mercy. Block has been called "a human mushroom cloud," most likely because he leaves chaos and tragedy in large squared areas. Block's biggest downfall as a wrestler is his inability to play by rules, which often leads to him getting disqualified or suspended without pay. Vander has two things that motivate him, causing pain and cash.
