Saul Weaver vs. Dane Archer

"Ain't No Rest For the Wicked" rings out over the loudspeakers, and Dane Archer stalks out from backstage. He gives the fans a half-hearted glare before spitting on the floor to his left, cracking his neck and making his way to the ring, where he rolls in underneath the bottom rope.

Cruz: The following is your opening contest of the evening and it is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Tombstone, Arizona! Weighing in at 238 pounds… DANE ARCHER!

He lurches to his feet, making the rounds of the ropes, gripping the top as he looks out at the crowd, egging on some of the jeers and giving a nod to the rare cheer or chant in his direction. Satisfied, he pulls off his t-shirt and throws it in the corner before doing some last minute stretches and awaiting the opening bell.

Clement: Hello everyone and welcome to another Frontier Grappling Arts DVD presentation! I’m Kevin Clement. Joining me is my colleague, Evan Grayson. And here we are on night two of this back-to-back Carolina weekend!

Grayson: Last night, FGA made its debut in Charlotte, North Carolina! I think it’s safe to say that FGA made one hell of a first impression!

'Wake Up' by Rage Against The Machine tears through the venue, drowning out the mixed reaction that's being cast towards the stage from the audience. With very little regard for suspense or building tension, Saul Weaver appears, scowling down towards the ring.

Cruz: And his opponent, from Pagosa Springs, Colorado! Weighing in at 243 pounds! He is “The Voice of Reason”... SAUL WEAVER!

Weaver charges down the ramp and uses his momentum to slide underneath the bottom rope, entering the ring and rising to his feet. He looks ready to fight and wastes little time in showboating.

Clement: Speaking of first impressions, Saul Weaver is looking to make one hell of a first impression in his FGA debut against Dane Archer.

Grayson: Dane Archer failed to win that Battle Royal at All-Star Showdown III. So while he may be out of the running for the Frontier Lions Cup, he could easily turn things around with a win here.

The bell sounds as both men lock up. After jockeying for position, Saul moves Dane over towards the corner. But Dane quickly switches positions and presses Saul up against the the turnbuckles. The ref scurries over and gives both men until the count of five to break the hold.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Both men appear to make the clean break. That is, until Dane goes for a sucker punch. But Saul moves out of the way. When Dane turns around, Saul nails him with a knife-edge chop to cheers from the crowd. Dane responds with a back chop of his own. Saul then gives him another knife-edge chop to cheers from the crowd. Dane responds with another back chop of his own. Saul then throws out another knife-edge chop to cheers from the crowd. Dane throws out a back chop. But Saul ducks and counters with a knife-edge chop. Dane throws out a back chop, but Saul swats it down and rattles off another knife-edge chop… and another… and another. As Saul reaches back for another chop, Dane nails him with a back chop to boos from the crowd. He then takes Saul and whips him into the ropes. When Saul comes back, Dane throws out a hooking lariat. But Saul ducks. When Dane turns around, Saul delivers a series of knife-edge chops that backs Dane into the corner. Saul then mudhole stomps Dane, sending him slumping down into the corner. After picking up Dane and moving him out of the corner, Saul takes Dane and goes for an irish whip. But Dane reverses, sending Saul into the ropes. When Saul comes back, he knocks down Dane with a Lou Thesz Press. Saul follows up with a series of right hands to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Both men have spent the early portion of this match trading blows. But now Saul is in control has he hammers away Dane Archer.

Saul picks up Dane and snapmares him over, followed by a penalty kick to the back. As Dane arches his back in pain, Saul runs into the ropes. When he comes back, he knocks Dane down with a diving European Uppercut to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Saul picks up Dane, wraps his arm around his neck and takes him down with an Alligator Roll. Saul pulls him back up, only to bring him down with another Alligator Roll. After pulling Dane back up to his feet, Saul knees him in the midsection, followed by a snap suplex to cheers from the crowd. Saul turns over and makes the cover.

Saul picks up Dane and whips him into the ropes. When Dane comes back, Saul bends over to set up a back body drop. But Dane counters with a neckbreaker to boos from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Grayson: Nice counter there by Dane Archer…

Clement: … but it only gets two.

Dane picks up Saul and delivers a series of headbutts that send him stumbling into the corner. Dane then brings him out of the corner and whips him into the ropes. When Saul comes back, Dane knocks him down with a hooking lariat to boos from the crowd. After picking up Saul, Dane lifts him up and plants him with a piledriver to boos from the crowd.

Grayson: Mr. Head Drops ‘n Stuff plants Saul right on his dome!

Clement: He makes the cover...

After Dane picks up Saul, he sizes him up before throwing out a rolling back chop. But Saul ducks, grabs Dane and delivers a belly to belly suplex to cheers from the crowd. Saul picks up Dane, runs into the corner and delivers a Buckle Bomb to cheers from the crowd. As Dane stumbles over towards him, Saul lifts him back up and throws him down with The Messiah Complex to cheers from the crowd.

The ref raises Saul’s arm to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Saul Weavers picks up the win in his first FGA match!

Grayson: The newcomer was able to bounce back and get that first win out of the way. Who knows what the future holds. But tonight? The man’s a winner.

Clement: We may not know what the future holds for Saul Weaver. But we know what’s happening tonight. The remaining three Frontier Lions Cup Qualifying Matches will take places tonight! Last night in Charlotte, Evangelista, Cyncity, Jared James and Cordy Stevenson all joined Tony Carmine in the Quarterfinals. Now, six grapplers will have the chance to advance to the quarterfinals of the Frontier Lions Cup!

Grayson: Also here tonight, It’s going to be champion versus champion. It’s going to be Riley Owens, the Pride Champion versus Jimmy Page, the new World Champion, in the main event.

Clement: Man, that’s going to be a good one. Page won the first encounter between the two back in February. Riley was then able to defeat Page back in April. Who is going to win the third matchup here tonight?

Grayson: Also, Dom Harter invoked his rematch clause last night. Will Jimmy Page meet Dom in Miami at Above & Beyond III for the World Championship? The champ speaks tonight!

We fade backstage where Pierre J Harris is walking backstage dressed in a white Abercrombie & Fitch hoodie and blue denim True Religion Jeans. He notices the camera following behind him as he turns around, smiles, and comes to a halt to speak to the fans here in Spartanburg tonight.

Pierre J. Harris: What's good ya'll?

There is a little pop from the crowd.

Pierre J. Harris: I know ya'll ready to do the damn thing tonight.

He salutes the fans like a solider would do a sergeant.

Pierre J. Harris: That's what's up.

He leans up against a wall by a vending machine.

Pierre J. Harris: It's good ya'll excited for tonight. Ya'll making me wanna go out there and put on a show more than I already wanna do.

He nods his head before sliding his hood further back off his head.

Pierre J. Harris: Ya'll already know tonight I'll be in the ring with Johnny Karma. We both looking to get into the Frontiers Lion Cup tonight. I know ya'll already know how beast of a tournament that is. Who don't wanna qualify for that?

He pauses.

Pierre J Harris: I know I do so tonight when I'm in that ring imma go out there and make sure that I do everything to do just that.

He throws his hood back over his head and props himself off of the wall.

Pierre J Harris: Karma let's do it brah.

He chunks up the deuces before continuing his walk backstage as the cameras begin to fade.

Sunshine Scandalous Tony Carmine vs. Thunderbelly the Storm Bearer

The various strings and flutes of Finntroll's "Trollhammaren" begin to play as the crowd immediately begin to cheer in response. As the singer lets out his guttural yell, the music swelling as electric guitars and drums join in as well, Thunderbelly himself comes bursting from behind the black curtain, the crowd cheers of approval only becoming more thunderous. His war hammer in hand, the warrior thrusts his fist into the air, holding his weapon high as he begins to make his way toward the ring.

Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from The Hallowed Halls of Asgaard! Weighing in at 200 pounds… THUNDERBELLY THE STORM BEARER!

Making sure to slap hands with any fans that reach out to him, Thunderbelly finally approaches the ring, hopping up onto the apron and quickly ascends the outside of the nearest turnbuckle, standing with one foot triumphantly perched on the top turnbuckle as he holds his mighty hammer high once again to the crowd approval. Afterward, the frog viking simply hopping down into the ring into his corner.

Clement: Thunderbelly was able to get his first win in a match over Camellia D. Magna about a month or so ago. But he was unable to win the battle royal at All-Star Showdown III. The storm bearer could right the ship tonight with a win over Tony Carmine.

As RetcH's "Graceful Jewelry Removal" hits, the lights dim and eventually the crowd will begin to jeer. Pink and purple strobe lights starts to flare. Once the bass drops, Scandalous Tony emerges from the curtains with his arms spread out, accompanied by 3 full-figured women following behind him(never the same group of women). He pops the collar on his furry vest before turning his back the ring and utters something to the women behind him. Suddenly he swings back around and slowly struts down the ramp, repeating the lyrics. He takes his purple pick out and starts picking his hair out.

"n****s pussy I should sprinkle them with glitter, for real my n****."

After putting the pick away, he then pulls out a nail filer and starts filing his nails, all the while taking his sweet time to get to the ring as he instructs the females to have the ropes held for him by the time he gets to ringside. With the ladies seated on the middle rope, Tony ignores them and walks up the steps and into the ring on his own. Tony laughs as he stands on the middle rope and looks out to the fans while slowly and seductively taking his furry vest off and throwing it to the group of females as they step off the apron. He backflips into the ring as his music slowly fades.

Cruz: And his opponent from Boca Raton, Florida, weighing in at 154 pounds, "Sunshine" Scandalous Tony Carmine!

Clement: Unlike his opponent, Tony Carmine did win that battle royal at All-Star Showdown III.

Grayson: That’s right! Tony was the last man standing, giving him a one way trip past the Qualifying Round and straight into the Quarterfinals of the Frontier Lions Cup. Now, Tony has had all weekend to sit back and check out the competition that he may face in about a month and a half at Above & Beyond III.

The bell sounds as both grapplers motion for a lock up. But Tony ducks the lock up. When Thunderbelly turns around, he turns into a spinning back kick to the midsection. Tony then takes Thunderbelly and goes for an irish whip. But Thunderbelly reverses, sending Tony into the ropes. When Tony comes back, Thunderbelly hoists Tony up in the air. When Tony falls back down, Thunderbelly catches him across his back and goes for a Samoan Drop. But Tony counters with a crucifix pin to boos from the crowd.

Thunderbelly gets his shoulder up.

Clement: One hell of a counter there by Sunshine. He nearly stole the win.

Grayson: That’s what Tony’s going to have to do. He can’t match strength with Thunderbelly. But he’s got more speed, more agility and last but not least, more intelligence.

After both grapplers get back to their feet, Tony throws out a kick. Thunderbelly ends up catching his foot. But Tony quickly counters with an enzuigiri, sending Thunderbelly stumbling into the ropes. After Tony gets up to his feet, he runs into the ropes. When Tony comes back, Thunderbelly ducks the oncoming attack and dumps him over the top rope with a fireman’s carry toss…

Clement: Sunshine Tony gets dumped to the outside!

… but Tony lands on his feet on the outside. After yanking Thunderbelly face-first onto the canvas, Tony drags him to the outside, kicks him in the midsection and delivers a snap suplex as the crowd boos. After taunting some of the fans in the front row, Tony rolls back into the ring. Once he sees Thunderbelly getting up, Tony runs into the ropes. When he comes back, he knocks Thunderbelly down with a rolling suicide dive to boos from the crowd.

Clement: What a maneuver by Tony Carmine!

Grayson: Tony just wiped out Thunderbelly with that flipping dive to the outside!

Tony picks up Thunderbelly and rolls him back into the ring. After rolling himself back in, he makes the cover.

Thunderbelly gets his shoulder up.

Tony picks up Thunderbelly, heads into the corner and slams his head into the top turnbuckle. After turning Thunderbelly around, Tony climbs up onto the middle ropes and proceeds to punch him as the crowd surprisingly counts along.

crowd: ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE….

Tony motions to punch Thunderbelly for a tenth time. But he stops and wiggles his hips to boos from the crowd. But the boos turn to cheers as Thunderbelly grabs Tony, heads out of the corner and delivers an inverted atomic drop that doubles him over.

Clement: Tony showboated and Thunderbelly has made him pay dearly!

Thunderbelly then lifts up Tony, runs over towards the corner and delivers Ride The Lightning to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Thunderbelly picks up Tony and whips him into the ropes. When Tony comes back, he goes for a cross body block. But Thunderbelly catches him in mid air and counters with a fallaway slam to cheers from the crowd. He then picks up Tony, only to knock him back down with the Thunder Clap to cheers from the crowd. While Tony is down, Thunderbelly steps through the ropes and begins to climb the turnbuckles.

Clement: It looks like Thunderbelly is looking to Come Down light Thunder across Tony Carmine!

Once Thunderbelly is near the top, Tony gets up, runs into the corner, runs up the turnbuckles, grabs Thunderbelly and throws him down with a top rope arm drag to boos from the crowd. As Thunderbelly starts to get up, Tony runs into the ropes. When he comes back, he connects with #PimpShit to boos from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Grayson: That’s right. It’s another impressive win in the books for Sunshine Tony! If he keeps this up, we may be looking at our next Frontier Lions Cup winner!

[FGA Office]

(Backstage, Ash is somewhere in the halls getting ready with the finishing touches to her ring gear with wrapping black athletic tape around each of her wrists. Testing each for its strength, she grunts in approval before nodding.)

Ash: Ready or not, Dan. Here I come.

Slowly, a pair of hands wrap around Ash’s waist and she is quickly pulled backwards, not by full force as she willingly gives into the pull, knowing who it is. The tall and slightly lanky young man behind her is now completely shown, a smile on his face as he looks down at the back of his shorter girlfriend’s head.

Colton Sterling: Well, look who’s preparing to kick some ass.

Ash laughs a little, leaning her head back into the taller boy’s chest as a wry smirk comes across her face. Instead of pulling away from the arms wrapped around her, she lays a hand atop the hands clasped together at her stomach and strokes the back of them.

Ash: Appearances can be deceiving, Colt.

Colton Sterling: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, how are you feeling?

Colton turns Ash around, making sure they are face to face now. Ash gives a shake of her head, moving a bit of the blonde and pink colored hair from her one of her eyes as she does so to look up at him.

Ash: Oh you know, getting ready to walk into a ring against one of FGA’s top people. No biggie. With you around, it’s kinda like I have my own escort though at least.

Colton chuckles as he leans in and kisses her on the forehead before leaning out again.

Colton Sterling: Listen, Ash. There’s no reason for you to be this nervous. You know that you’re good. I KNOW that you’re good. Now you just gotta show those fans out there that you’re good. That you are not only good enough to beat one of FGA’s top people, but good enough to win that tournament.

Ash: Yeah, yeah. Go in there and beat this guy in a straight fight right? He’s like twice my damn weight.

Ash sighs with a look away before returning to meet his gaze.

Ash: If I’m walking out of this with a win, I need to outsmart him. Just hope he’s dumb enough to let everything I said get into his head and make things easy for me.

Colton Sterling: You’ve got this, Ash. Do not sweat it, alright? YOU’VE GOT THIS.

Ash: Alright, alright already. Jeez, I need to get you a couple of pom poms and you can be my very own spirit squad out there if you play your cards right.

Her eyebrows scrunch together for a moment of thought before shaking her head.

Ash: No, on second thought, don’t even think about it. That’s a visual no one needs.

Colton lets out a loud laugh before shaking his head.

Colton Sterling: Not even if you paid me a million dollars. Just go out there and do your best, alright? I’ll be proud of you no matter what happens, alright?

Ash: Alright. Jeez, you sound like my dad did my first day of high school.

With a tilt of her head and standing up on her toes to reach him, she press her lips to his with a kiss.

Ash: Well except that part of course. Just you remember what we talked about before.

Colton smiles.

Colton Sterling: Yeah. I just gotta make sure my schedule is alright and I can do it. But you have bigger things to worry about than this right now.

Ash: Bigger things now….

Glancing down, a wry grin comes over her lips.

Ash: And bigger things later.

(Before he can respond to her perverted remark, Ash pulls away and moves quickly down the hall at almost a skip.)

Frontier Lions Cup Qualifier
Johnny Karma vs. Pierre J. Harris

[The arena lights flash a myriad of different colours in tune with John Bonham’s epic drum intro to “When the Levee Breaks” fills the arena, and at the exact microsecond that the flawless combination of Robert Plant’s harmonica and Jimmy Page’s riff starts The Man, The Myth, The Johnny Karma swaggers out onto the top of the ramp to greet his adoring public, coming to a stop on top of the ramp to blow a kiss to all his fans in attendance who paid to see him and only him this evening and stands there with his hands on his hips to bask in their adulation as Cherry Baum stands by his side to present him to the crowd]

[Karma struts down the ramp towards the ring, making sure not a single hair is out of place on his head, waving and chatting to the members of his adoring public that surround him whilst he walks down to the ring]

Clement: Johnny Karma and Pierre J. Harris got into it last night at the Charlotte taping. But now, Karma is going to have to back up his words against the Yung Czar!

Grayson: Karma proved himself as the true Iron Man of FGA during both Gold Rush Rumbles. Now, Karma will once again show why he is the Karmic Lion as he advances in the Frontier Lions Cup.

[The pair reach ringside, as Cherry climbs onto the apron and holds the ropes open for her man. Karma waves to the luckiest fans of all, those at ringside as he performs, before bounding up the ring steps and stepping through the gap Cherry has created for him into the ring]

[Karma briskly walks across the ring, climbing the turnbuckles and raises an arm into the air, holding up one finger to remind us all of one simple truth – He’s #1]

[Karma climbs down, then walks across the ring and climbs the opposite turnbuckles, looking out into the crowd who have paid for the privilege of watching him wrestle, before unzipping his track top to reveal his chiselled physique. He removes his dark glasses and places them in his jacket pocket, before climbing down]

[As he stands in the ring, Cherry Baum takes the house mic]

Cherry Baum: Introducing first, your future Frontier Lions Cup holder…weighing in tonight at a stylin’ and profilin’, limousine riding, jet flying, kiss stealing, wheeling and dealing 233lbs, he hails from Queens, NYC – he is…something to do with Space Mountain, he is JOHNNY KARMA!

[Cherry steps aside and gives a round of applause as Johnny K strolls to the centre of the ring, before Cherry hands him the microphone]

Johnny Karma: Ladies and…ladies.

[Karma winks to the crowd]

Johnny Karma: As my able and insightful associate Miss Cherry Baum told you, tonight is the first step on my path towards the Frontier Lions Cup, and if anyone disagrees with that assertion most people would say that was madness, but I disagree for one simple reason. Madness?

[DRAMATIC PAUSE]

Johnny Karma: THIS IS SPARTAnburg!

[Karma and Cherry laugh at his comedic stylings]

Johnny Karma: But, seriously, I’m so winning this match, because when was the last time somebody with their pants around their ankles amounted to anything?

[Karma hands the mic to Cherry before doing a few Hindu squats in the ring to give himself a last minute warm-up]

Smoke flares up around the ramp before the sounds of "Champagne" by Tracy T begins playing. Yung Czar stepping out behind the black curtains bouncing up and down.

"In The V.I.P see my chain, drinking champagne."

He tugs at the gold chain around his neck.

"In the Loui store I spend some change, drinking champagne."

He throws up a M with his fingers representing Miami before looking out in the crowd and making his way to the ring.

Cruz: And his opponent, from Miami, Florida! Weighing in at 218 pounds… PIERRE J. HARRIS!

"Bird Class flight I'm drinking champagne."

He steps inside the ring bouncing around it.

"Like I won the championship game I'm drinking champagne."

He takes the multi-colored bandanna off of his head and throws it into the crowd.

"R.I.P my dead homies pour the champagne."

He stops bouncing and leans back on a rope folding his arms together. Ready for the bout to begin.

Clement: This is a bit of a second chance for Pierre. He was so close to winning that battle royal...

Grayson: … until Tony Carmine kneed him right in the face. Pierre better make the most of this opportunity. If he doesn’t, he can kiss his shot at the Frontier Lions Cup goodbye.

The bell sounds as both men lock up. Karma quickly places Pierre in a side headlock. But Pierre is able to shove Karma off of him and into the ropes. When Karma comes back, he knocks down Pierre with a running shoulder block to boos from the crowd. Karma then runs into another set of ropes as Pierre kips up to his feet. When Karma comes back, he knocks down Pierre with another running shoulder block. Karma runs into yet another set of ropes as Pierre kips back up. When Karma comes back, Pierre leap frogs over him, sending Karma into the ropes. When Karma comes back, Pierre knocks him down with a dropkick to cheers from the crowd. Karma gets back up, but Pierre throws him down with an arm drag to cheers from the crowd. As Karma gets back up, Pierre grabs him and goes for an irish whip. But Karma reverses, sending Pierre into the ropes. When Pierre comes back, Karma bends over to set up a back body drop. But Pierre stops and counters with a kick to the face, sending Karma stumbling back. While Karma is dazed, Pierre runs back into the ropes. When Pierre comes back, Karma side steps, grabs him and tosses him over the top rope…

Grayson: Karma just flung Pierre to the floor!

While Karma turns and raises his arms in the air, Pierre is revealed to be hanging onto the top rope. He then “skins the cat,” pulling himself over the top rope and back into the ring. While Karma is still basking in his glow, Pierre runs up from behind and delivers a dropkick, sending Karma stumbling through the ropes and to the floor.

Grayson: Pierre just attacked Karma from behind! I would expect nothing less from a thug like him.

The crowd gets riled up as Pierre waves his arms up and down. Once Karma gets up on the outside, Pierre heads back into the ropes. When Pierre comes back, he knocks down Karma with a suicide dive to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: … and down goes Karma!

Pierre picks up Karma and rolls him back into the ring. After rolling himself back in, he makes the cover.

Pierre then gets up, grabs Karma by an arm and a leg and drags him away from the ropes. He makes the cover.

Pierre picks up Karma and nails him with three right hands to the face before sending him into the corner. Pierre runs across the ring. But Karma catches him with an elbow to the face. While the crowd boos, Karma takes Pierre and slams his head into the top turnbuckle. After turning him around, Karma unleashes a series of knife-edge chops that echo throughout the building. He then takes Pierre and whips him into the opposite corner. Karma then runs across the ring. But Pierre returns the favor with an elbow of his own. As Karma stumbles back, Pierre runs out of the corner and connects with The Golden Kick to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Clement: You and Karma can say what you want about Pierre, but he’s controlling the action thus far in this one.

Grayson: Don’t worry, it’ll only be a matter of time until he trips up. You know, because he’s got his pants down to his ankles.

Pierre picks up Karma and whips him into the ropes. When Karma comes back, Pierre scoops him up from the side and delivers a sidewalk slam to cheers from the crowd. He hooks the leg…

Pierre picks up Karma, scoops him up from the side and delivers a backbreaker. While Karma is down, Pierre steps through the ropes and climbs the turnbuckles. But just as he’s near the top, Cherry Baum climbs up onto the apron to boos from the crowd.

Clement: What is she doing up there?

Still upset over Pierre calling Karma “J-K,” Cherry begins to yell at Pierre. While Pierre is distracted, Karma gets up, lunges over and pulls down the top rope, causing Pierre to slip, fall and end up crotched on the top turnbuckle.

Grayson: Aw, poor Pierre!

Clement: Pierre looks to be in immense pain after the distraction allowed Karma to trip him up.

As Pierre cringes in pain, he leans forward and falls down into a seated position in the corner. With Pierre now in perfect position, Karma runs into the corner and connects with the Kodak Moment to boos from the crowd. He then drags Pierre away from the ropes and makes the cover.

Karma picks up Pierre and whips him into the ropes. When Pierre comes back, Karma delivers an inverted atomic drop, followed by a DDT. With Pierre down, Karma heads into the corner. After climbing up onto the middle ropes, he jumps off and connects with an elbow drop to boos from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Karma picks up Pierre and goes for a vertical suplex, but Pierre slips down from behind. After grabbing Karma around the waist, Pierre goes for a German Suplex. But Karma blocks it. After delivering an elbow to the face, Karma performs a standing switch. He then grabs Pierre by the waist and runs into the ropes. But Pierre hooks his arms under the top rope and jerks back, sending Karma down to the canvas. After Karma rolls up to his feet, Pierre runs over towards him. Karma then lifts him up and goes for a spinebuster. But Pierre counters with a DDT to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Clement: Pierre just planted Karma with that DDT! But it only gets two...

Pierre picks up Karma and throws him down with a scoop slam. After stepping through the ropes, Pierre climbs up the turnbuckles. Once he reaches the top, he leaps off and goes for a Frog Splash. But Karma gets his knees up, causing Pierre to crash down across them to boos from the crowd.

Grayson: A little too slow there, Pierre! Maybe if he wore his pants like an adult, he would have climbed the turnbuckles with no problem.

Karma picks up Pierre and places him in The World’s Greatest Abdominal Stretch. The crowd boos as Pierre cringes in pain. The ref asks him if he wants to give up, but Pierre refuses to quit.

Clement: After Pierre crashed down across his knees, Karma now locks him in the abdominal stretch.

Grayson: If he thinks he was hurting before, then he’s experienced nothing yet. He’s really about to feel it now...

Pierre begins to shake his free arm as the crowd starts to get behind him. The ref again asks him if he wants to give up. But Pierre refuses to quit. He’s then able to power out with a hip toss to cheers from the crowd.

After both men get back to their feet, Karma throws out a right hand. But Pierre blocks and counters with a punch of his own. Karma throws out another right hand. But again, Pierre blocks it and counters with a punch of his own. He then nails Karma with another punch… and another.. and another. Pierre then steps back and throws out a roundhouse kick. But Karma ducks. When Pierre turns around, Karma counters with Sugar Ray Karma. While Pierre is dazed, Karma steps back and then knocks him down with Check Your Chiclets.

Grayson: Right in the kisser! I think I see Pierre’s platinum grill somewhere on the canvas.

Clement: Oh stop!

Karma steps through the ropes and begins to climb the turnbuckles. But once he reaches the top, Pierre gets up, grabs him and slams him down to cheers from the crowd. Karma gets up, but Pierre knocks him down with a clothesline. Karma gets back up, but Pierre knocks him back down with another clothesline. As Karma gets up, Pierre grabs him and goes for an irish whip. But Karma reverses, sending Pierre into the ropes. When Pierre comes back, Karma kicks him in the midsection. He then goes for Dazed, Confused and All Messed Up. But Pierre counters with an Alabama Slam to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

When Pierre comes back, he goes for the Kingpin. But Karma catches his legs, gets up and delivers a catapult into the top rope to boos from the crowd.

Clement: What a counter by Karma!

Grayson: He just sent Pierre throat-first into the top rope!

Karma then drags Pierre back towards the center of the ring. He picks up Pierre, lifts him upside down and plants him with Dazed, Confused and All Messed Up to boos from the crowd. Karma makes the cover.

Grayson: Last year, Karma made it to the Semifinals. Now, he’s shooting for the win!

(The show cuts backstage to where Annie Zellor is stood in front of an FGA lion backdrop, wearing her Cyncity t-shirt and a pair high waisted denim shorts. Her hair is tied back in a ponytail and on her face is a huge smile. She waves to the camera.)

Annie Zellor: Heyyy guys! Oh my God, how amazing was last night? First off, I just wanna say a huge thank you to Larkyn for being such a tough opponent. You were awesome, and if you ever wanna do it again just let me know and I'll be happy to face you again. And so many more people made it through to the Frontier Lions Cup, which I cannot wait for! There's so much talent in that competition it literally blows my mind.

Annie Zellor: Secondly, unfortunately my friends Laurel and Leanne can't be here tonight 'cause they're wrestling in England, but I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a few words on their behalf. See, last night in Charlotte, Laurel said something that has kinda stuck with me so here goes...

(Annie takes a deep breath before continuing)

Annie Zellor: Super Mario Wrestling Bros! You guys know I'm a huge fan of yours. Like, I supported you when you went to the PWP show to defend against Man Made Monsters and I was happy for you when you defended those belts against the Young Guns and Bond & Hardaway. But you also know that me and Laurel have recently signed here full time as a tag team ourselves!

(Annie makes a heart shape with her hands and giggles before saying.)

Annie Zellor: Sparklebuddies! And I know we didn't win the Dynamic Duos, but we made all the way to the final. We beat Sex Sells and The Rebellion and I hope that was enough to impress you, or at least make you consider this ... 'cause I asked and at Above & Beyond III you guys don't have any opponents lined up. And I wondered, maybe, if you might consider putting those FGA World Tag Team titles on the line against the Sparklebuddies. Whaddya say?

(Annie beams a wide smile for the camera as the show cuts back to ringside.)

("De(v)tails" by A Bullet for Pretty Boy begins to play as Riley walks out from the back, holding the FGA Pride Championship. He slaps a few hands of the fans as he makes his way to the ring. Riley is handed a microphone before he rolls into the ring.)

Owens: About four months ago, I told you all that I was going to do the impossible.

(Riley turns towards the hard cam.)

Owens: I looked directly into that camera and told you all that I was going to defeat Jimmy Page for the Pride Championship. Was that a foolish; was it unwise to come and call my shot like that? Ha, it probably was. But, I did it for a reason. I did it because people didn’t think it could happen. Just about everyone in FGA thought I was going fail.

(Riley points out to the crowd.)

Owens: But I believe in myself; I was confident. And, you fans believed in me; you all lifted me up!

(The crowd cheers.)

Owens: I beat Jimmy Page once; and tonight I’m gonna try and knock him off just one more time!

(The fans clap.)

Owens: But, I did come out here to just talk about Jimmy; how boring would that be right? I came out here to address a couple of things; the first being Jared James. Jared, I haven’t had time to speak to you since the last event. First and foremost, let me say this; you are an awesome competitor. There are a lot of shady and vile people in the wrestling business, but you aren’t one of them. It was an honor to face you in the ring. Don’t be discouraged sir; I can see you fighting for the World Heavyweight Championship very soon.

(Riley looks down at the Pride title in his hands; a smile comes across his face.)

Owens: I don’t think you all really understand; you don’t exactly understand what this championship means to me. You know, I get questions from you fans all the time. A lot of people ask if I’m upset that I’m only holding the Pride Championship; a lot of people feel that I should be gunning for the top prize.

Now don’t get me wrong, that World Heavyweight is a goal of mine; it should be the goal of everyone in this company. But I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished, and I’m proud that I’ve been able to holding, defend, and retain the Pride Championship.

It’s an honor to be lumped into the same group as Chandler Scott, Chris Bond, and—

(But before he can finish, the opening of "Devil's Night" by Motionless in White flares up. Strobe lights begin to go insane when the vocals blare out of the sound system as Kevin Hardaway appears in the entry way. The crowd turns sour at the very sight of him. Kevin inhales before he makes his way down the ring, limping slightly...still feeling a bit sore from his win over Chris Bond a couple of weeks ago. You can even see the bandages on his lip and nose and the minor blackened eye he has suffered as he kicks away the hands of a few fans, walking his way up the steps and slowly entering the ring.

He pulls a microphone out of the back pocket of his pants and smirks a little, Owens holding the Pride title around his shoulder. Tightly, might I add.)

Hardaway: You were going to say my name after those two pissants, weren't you? Admit it. I'm sorry if I interrupted you before my name was going to come out of those lips of yours, but...honestly, I just couldn't take hearing you drone on and on like the little worker bee that you claim to say you are. Because that's what you think is the right thing to do. That holding the Pride Championship and being everybody's little hero is what's right for this business.

NEWS FLASH! It really isn't, Riley.

I'm not going to come out here and deny your talents. I've seen what you can do and damn me if I'm not impressed. You've gained QUITE the reputation around here as of late. The people you have defeated in this ring. Beating former FGA World Champions. Beating the now CURRENT FGA Champion. Becoming one half of the 2014 Dynamic Duos. And of course...that title that is around your shoulder at this very moment.

ALL of those things though pale in comparison. Because while you've worked your way around this company, there's one thing you haven't done, nay...will never do as long as you live, and that is DEFEAT! ME!

(A long chorus and reign of boos ring out in Spartanburg as Hardaway just laughs at the response. He knows that gets under the fans's skin. Does he care? Of course not!)

Hardaway: Will I deny your talents? Of course not. But what you have done hasn't did shit for somebody like me. You think a few wins and a title makes you the Golden Boy of this company, because to me...that's what you are. A few wins and a title doesn't make you jack fucking shit, Riley.

Let me ask you this, boy? Have you ever gone out there inside a steel cage and gone THREE ON ONE against The Murder? Let alone, ALMOST taking them out for good? Because I have.

Have you ever fought to your dying breath against the longest reigning and quite arguably, the best FGA World Champion we've EVER seen in Chris Q? Because I have.

Have you gone to bloody war for this company? BECAUSE! I! HAVE!

That title wouldn't be around your shoulder if it wasn't for me. You're talking to the first person EVER that got to hold that belt, and honestly...ever since Chandler Scott pretty much broke my arm and STOLE that title from me, it's never been the same. Not since me, and Riley...you ain't changing anything holding that belt.

(Riley jawjacks with Hardaway, but he holds a hand up, letting him know that he wants to finish up.)

Hardaway: I'm here to pretty much lay down the gauntlet to you. You think you could run away from your past. You have been SOOOOO lucky that you've been able to keep that title. Jack Reynolds. Remember him? You were lucky that you were able to go past him intact.

I'm here to tell you that I'm not going away that easy. You don't know me as well as some of the others. So go talk to the others in the back. Go talk to Chris Bond if he's willing to talk. He should know first hand. Because you don't. You don't know a damn thing. You don't know anything about what the Voice of the Violence will do to make sure he gets what he deserves. And Riley...he wants that title back.

(Hardaway throws the mic into Owens's chest as he smiles at the current Pride Champion, the devilish music of Motionless in White playing again as Hardaway exits the ring. Not even looking back at his new prey. He's aware of who he's hunting now.)[

Clement: Kevin Hardaway just laid down the gauntlet to Riley Owens!

Grayson: It’s bad enough for Riley that he has to focus on Jimmy Page in the main event. But now, he’s got to deal with the Voice of the Violence, Kevin Hardaway? If I were Riley, I’d grip that belt tight.

Frontier Lions Cup Qualifier
Chaz Holiday vs. Xavier Daniels

The arena's lights die as "F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X" hits the PA system, cuing the cheers of the FGA fans. A single spotlight blinks on, lighting up the entrance stage as Xavier Daniels pushes himself through the curtain. Here he slowly paces around, taking in crowd reaction before taking center stage just in time for the sound bite cues both the lighting and Xavier himself to pick up. Xavier throws his head forward a bit scuffing his hair as red and gold lights suddenly begin flashing around the arena to the beat.

Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a Frontier Lions Cup Qualifying Match! Introducing first, from Boston, Massachusetts! Weighing in at 218 pounds… XAVIER DANIELS!

The Boston native starts a B-Line strut towards the ring, making sure to play up the crowd, evening touching the hands of a few as he passes by. When he reaches the protective padding around ringside he bolts up the ring steps and leaps to the second turnbuckle. From here Xavier spreads his arms apart and peers out at the crowd taking in their reaction. After a few seconds he jumps into the ring and takes a spot at the opposite corner where he begins stretching while he awaits his opponent.

Clement: Xavier Daniels was unsuccessful in his match against Cordy Stevenson at All-Star Showdown III. But tonight, he gets the chance to bounce back, as well as advance in the Frontier Lions Cup.

Grayson: Last year, Xavier was sidelined with a knee injury. It was supposed to be him and Sean Sands, collectively known as Future Shock, entering the Dynamic Duos. But with Xavier sidelined, Sands was placed in the Frontier Lions Cup. From there, his FGA career took off. Sands not only won the Frontier Lions Cup, but he also went on to win the then-FGA Heavyweight Championship. Can Xavier replicate the success of his former tag team partner?

"Blackout" by Breathe Carolina begins to play and Chaz Holiday emerges from behind the black curtains. He stops at the top of the entrance, smiling and looking around at the crowd.

Cruz: And his opponent, now residing out of Hollywood, California! Weighing in at 221 pounds! He is the reigning Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion... CHAZ HOLIDAY!

As he makes his way to the ring, he high fives fans along the way. As he gets to the ring, he jumps up on the apron and steps between the ropes, getting into the ring.

Clement: Chaz Holiday defeated Joshua Black to regain his Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship at All-Star Showdown III. But clearly that belt isn’t the only thing that Chaz wants. Chaz wants to use that momentum to run through the Frontier Lions Cup.

Grayson: And he very well may. He would be the only champion in the field. But first, he’s got to get past Daniels.

The bell sounds as both wrestlers shake hands before circling the ring. They lock up. After jockeying for position, Holiday places Daniels in a side headlock. But Daniels moves him into the ropes before shoving Holiday off of him and into the opposite set of ropes. When Holiday comes back, he knocks Daniels down with a running shoulder block. He then runs into another set of ropes. When Holiday comes back, Daniels turns over onto his stomach, causing Holiday to skip over him and run into the ropes. When Holiday comes back, Daniels pushes himself up to the mat and knocks Holiday down with a dropkick to cheers from the crowd. Holiday gets back up, but Daniels knocks him back down with another dropkick to cheers from the crowd. As Holiday gets back up, Daniels throws him down with an arm drag and transitions into a shoulder lock.

The ref asks Holiday if he wants to give up. Holiday responds by wagging his finger at him. After battling his way back up to his feet, Holiday rolls forward, leans back, kips up and counters with a Japanese arm drag to cheers from the crowd. Daniels gets back up, but Holiday grabs him and whips him into the ropes. When Daniels comes back, Holiday goes for a back body drop. But Daniels is able to land on his feet and then runs into the ropes. When Holiday turns around, Daniels comes back and takes him down with a headscissors takeover. Holiday gets back up, but Daniels runs over and connects with a front dropkick, sending Holiday through the ropes and to the apron. As Holiday pulls himself up on the apron, Daniels runs over to attack. But Holiday ducks and counters with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. With Daniels doubled over, Holiday slingshots himself over the top rope and executes a sunset flip. But Daniels rolls through it, gets to his feet and connects with a front dropkick to the face to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Clement: Quick nearfall there for Xavier. These two have kept the action fast-paced in this one.

Grayson: They have. Both of these men can fly. But Xavier is clearly the superior high flier.

Daniels picks up Holiday and whips him into the corner. After sizing up Holiday, Daniels runs across the ring and connects with a hesitation dropkick to cheers from the crowd. As Holiday stumbles from out of the corner, Daniels grabs him from behind, brings him back towards the center of the ring and goes to lift him up for a German Suplex. But Holiday counters with a wheelbarrow victory roll. But instead of going for the cover, Holiday gets up to his feet while keeping a hold of one of Daniels’ legs. He then turns Daniels over and applies an Achilles Lock to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: What a counter by Holiday!

Grayson: He’s got the hold applied! Will Daniels tap?

Daniels pushes himself up off the mat and can be seen screaming in pain. The ref asks Daniels if he want to give up. But Daniels shakes his head no.

Clement: Xavier is trying to fight through the pain. But how much longer can he last? When will the pain become too much to bear?

Holiday wrenches in the hold, causing Daniels to cringe. The ref again asks Daniels if he wants to give up. But Daniels refuses to quit. He grits his teeth as he tries to fight through the pain. He then begins to claw his way towards the ropes to boos from the crowd. Holiday then jerks up, causing even more pressure on the hold. Daniels drops down as the added pressure stops him dead in his tracks. The ref again checks on Daniels and asks if he wants to give up. But Daniels shouts out, “No!” He then pushes himself back up, continues to crawl and grabs the bottom rope to boos from the crowd.

Clement: He makes it to the ropes!

Grayson: But how much damage did that hold do to his leg?

Holiday lets go of the hold. He then picks up Daniels and brings him into the corner. After a series of knife-edge chops that echo throughout the arena, he takes Daniels and goes for an irish whip. But Daniels reverses, sending Holiday into the opposite corner to cheers from the crowd. After shaking off the pain in his leg, Daniels runs across the ring. But he’s caught with an elbow to the face. As Daniels stumbles back, Holiday turns and springboards to the top turnbuckle. But before Holiday can moonsault off, Daniels dives over and pushes Holiday’s legs out from under him. Holiday then slips, falls and ends up crotched on the top turnbuckle.

Grayson: Chaz’s going to be hitting all the high notes after that one!

While Holiday sits on the top turnbuckle in pain, Daniels climbs the turnbuckles. He then grabs Holiday and delivers a Spider Suplex to cheers from the crowd. After slowly sitting himself back up, Daniels steps up onto the top turnbuckle and goes for the Spiral Tap. But Holiday rolls out of the way, causing Daniels to crash back-first onto the canvas.

Clement: Nobody’s home!

Grayson: Xavier just crashed onto the canvas with such force! I wouldn’t be surprised if he knocked the wind out of himself...

Holiday rolls out onto the apron before pulling himself up using the ropes. As Daniels slowly pushes himself up to his knees, Holiday starts to climb the turnbuckles. Once Daniels has gotten back to his feet, Holiday connects with a missile dropkick to the back, sending Daniels stumbling through the ropes and to the outside.

As Daniels slowly gets up, Holiday runs into the ropes. When Daniels turns around, Holiday comes back and knocks him down with a plancha to the outside.

Clement: What a maneuver by Chaz Holiday!

Grayson: The Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champ has just taken out Daniels on the outside!

Holiday picks up Daniels and rolls him back into the ring. Holiday then rolls himself back in and makes the cover.

Holiday picks up Daniels and whips him into the corner. He then runs across the ring and goes for a clothesline. But Daniels ducks and dumps him over the top rope with a fireman’s carry toss. Holiday lands on his feet on the apron. But Daniels quickly connects with a Pele Kick. While Holiday is dazed on the apron, Daniels connects with a triangle dropkick, knocking him to the floor. As Holiday gets up on the outside, Daniels runs into the ropes. When Daniels comes back, he connects with a senton atomico to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Daniels wipes out Holiday after that dive!

Grayson: Holiday looks to be out of it, Kev!

Daniels picks up Holiday and rolls him back into the ring. After rolling himself back in, he picks up Holiday, scoops him up across his shoulders and goes for Dodon: The End. But Holiday reverses into a wheelbarrow victory roll to cheers from the crowd.

After both men get back to their feet, Daniels connects with a jumping enzuigiri to cheers from the crowd. He then picks up Holiday and whips him hard chest-first into the corner. As Holiday stumbles back, Daniels wraps him up from behind and delivers a bridging straight jacket suplex to cheers from the crowd.

Daniels picks up Holiday, nails him with a forearm strike and then goes for a lariat. But Holiday ducks, grabs him from behind and delivers an inverted DDT to cheers from the crowd. After picking up Daniels, Holiday kicks him in the midsection, doubling him over. After bouncing him into the ropes, Holiday comes back and goes for The Party Starter. But Daniels moves out of the way. He then hops up onto Holiday’s shoulders, spins around and tries for a hurricanrana. But Holiday counters with a kneeling powerbomb to cheers from the crowd. He then grabs Daniels by the legs and turns over into The Glamour Lock to cheers from the crowd. Holiday then leans back, causing Daniels to scream in pain. The ref asks Daniels if he wants to give up. Daniels shakes his head no. But as Holiday continues to lean back, Daniels has no choice but to tap out.

“Blackout” blasts over the PA as the crowd explodes in cheers.

Cruz: Here is your winner, CHAZ HOLIDAY!

The ref raises Chaz’s arm to cheers from the crowd. Chaz then heads into the corner, climbs up onto the middle ropes and raises his Mid-Atlantic Legacy belt to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: What a match these two just put on!

Grayson: Xavier Daniels gave it his best shot. But Chaz Holiday was just the better grappler tonight. Now, the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion advances to the Quarterfinals of the Frontier Lions Cup.

[FGA Office]

(The cameraman pushes open the door to the wrestler lounge area backstage where Dan Herrera is sitting on the couch hunched over. He has his hands on his forehead and his eyes closed. He takes his hands off his head and pulls a phone out of his pocket. He sees who the name on the phone is and answers it.)

Dan: “Hello? … No, I’m up next … Yeah, I know … don’t worry about me, I got this … yeah I remember what we talked about … ha, yeah I’ll have to take you up on that … talk to you after the show.”

(While Dan was on the phone he didn’t have the time to notice that Cindy Parker had walked up from behind him and sat down on the couch next to him.)

Cindy: “Was that Rowan?”

(Dan took in a deep breath and sighed at the question.)

Dan: “No. I still haven’t heard from Rowan since two weeks ago. I’m sure you saw the tape of me backstage.”

(Cindy frowns just a little, but runs her hand down her face to get if off.)

Cindy: “Well… I mean… I think everyone saw it by now. I wouldn’t worry too, too much about it. Not yet. You can still fix things, that is… If you want to fix things? I’ve done some messed up stuff in the past too, Dan. I was forgiven for it, and I’m sure the fans, Dom, and more importantly Rowan will forgive you... if that’s what you want. It’s just gonna take some time, ya know?”

Dan: “I know the way I did it wasn’t exactly the best way to go about things. I meant every word I said though, maybe it wasn’t right for me to blame Rowan for my loss. That was all on me. But I couldn’t handle being told who I was anymore.”

Cindy: “That’s something I learned people like to do in the bizz. They try to change you, and when they’re not trying to change you, they try to tell who you are and who you’re supposed to be. Blowing up on Rowan…”

(Cindy pauses, treading carefully here knowing full well Dan wasn’t in a great place mentally.)

Cindy: “Fights between couples happen. Heck, fights between any two people who are close happen. Look at me and Cordy for example. We fight a lot, but we always get back to where we were before. That thing with you and Rowan? That could’ve just been a case of you feeling angry, and taking it out on the person you feel is the closest to you. The person you feel won’t walk away after a fight, or you just venting out on them.”

(She sighs, walking up toward Dan and giving him a pat on the back.)

Cindy: “It’s not that easy to handle a big loss, especially when you were how close to becoming FGA World champion. But it’s something you learn from, ya know? Make a mistake here, make a mistake there… It happens! You just can’t hold onto these things that upset you or make you mad because you’ll end up blowing a gasket. That’s normal. That’s real. That’s what happens to NORMAL people. But I’m sure everything will work out in the end.”

(She takes a momentary pause, looking down at Dan’s phone in the palm of his hand.)

Cindy: “I think you should call her. At least just to say hi or something, ya know?”

Dan: “I’ve called and left messages, several times. I’m not getting any callbacks. I’m starting to feel that that ship has sailed it’s course. And as rough as that is to handle, I’m coming to terms with it.”

(Dan turns on the couch and looks at Cindy.)

Dan: “But what I really want to know… I’ve heard all the internet forum grumblings leading up to and past All Star Showdown. I know what all the smart marks think about me. It kills me too. But more importantly, I need to know what people are saying backstage about me. I know you are around enough to hear it. So what is it? Am I a bad guy or am I a good guy?”

Cindy: “To me, you’re Dan Herrera. But the word with the boys in the back…”

(Cindy pauses as she tries to come up with the right words to say.)

Cindy: “Well, I think you know how Max feels about you. I’m sure you know Dom is borderline devastated by what happened. Chaz, I don’t know how he feels, but I still view you as a good guy. It might just take some work to repair that with the others. But it’s not like you take jabs at peoples personal lives, ya know? I see these so-called good guys do that and it just…”

(Cindy pauses and makes a yuck face.)

Cindy: “Just makes no sense to me. Actions in the ring are one thing, but when you’re desperate enough to involve someone’s girlfriend, friend, or their child into your argument, that’s what makes you a bad guy. I don’t see you doing that? And as far as the smarks on the wrestling forums go?”

(Cindy shakes her head)

Cindy: “Fudge them. They live to criticize, that’s all. They will love you one day, and hate you the next. That’s the mentality of a wrestling fan. Love, hate, love again. It’s just a matter of you not letting it get to your head. You live and you learn, Dan. That’s really the best I can say about the situation.”

Dan: “Well, it seems everything is pretty much sitting as it has even before All Star Showdown then. I’m sure I can repair things with Dom. That shouldn’t be an issue. I mean, how many times did I turn the other cheek when he threw me out of the ring at Only The Strong Survive? What about when he dropped me on my head in White Plains? I knew the score and him using the element of surprise on me was good for him in the ring. I never faulted him for that, and hopefully with a little bit of conversation, he’ll understand I was only doing the same thing as he had done.”

(Dan shifts in his seat a bit. Then continues.)

Dan: “I know I’ve got a hill to climb to get back on track like I was previously. But that track has been laid out before me by FGA. If I beat Ash tonight and make it into the Lion’s Cup, I can begin my march right back to where I feel I deserve to be again. And that’s all I plan to do.”

(Dan stands to his feet, pulling the ace bandages around his hands tight again before taping them back down.)

Dan: “All I can do is keep doing what I always do. Operate on the basis of respect and honor. This is professional wrestling, and that’s all that I focus on. There is no outside drama that’s fueling my fightin in FGA. All I want is to become the best wrestler in FGA, and when I get there, I will have done it in a way that I can be proud of. By working my way to the top and not stepping on anyone on my way there.”

(Dan grabs his gym bag and stuffs it under the couch where, hopefully, no one messes with it during his match.)

Dan: “I better head out to the ring. I have to set my train rolling down the new track. Thanks for everything Cindy.”

(Cindy waves goodbye to Dan as he walks out of the picture.)

Cindy- “Good head on his shoulders that Dan. Hopefully everything works out.”

(After a few seconds pass by, Cindy skips out of the picture as the scene transitions back to ringside.)

Reaching ringside, Ash slide in under the bottom rope towards the middle of the ring and picks herself up with something of a flip to her feet.

Ash moves to a nearby turnbuckle and climbs up to the middle turnbuckle, shaking a fist into the air.

Ready and waiting for her match, Ash jumps down from the middle turnbuckle finally.

Clement: Ash had some strong words to say to Dan Herrera during the lead up in this match.

Grayson: Yeah, which I don’t understand. Unless she’s trying to set him off, I don’t think this is a good idea.

...Spoken...

"May I remind you again, this is a dream, and in dreams, you can do anything you darn please!"

(When the first bass drum thumps, Dan pulls the curtain back and walks out from behind the curtain. He gives a head nod to the fans and begins heading towards the ring as a spotlight stays on him)

My knuckles have turned to white

There's no turning back tonight

Kiss me one last time

Cruz: And her opponent, now residing out of Raleigh, North Carolina! Weighing in at 215 pounds… DAN HERRERA!

(As Dan makes his way to the ring he slaps hands with the fans on either side of the entrance-way. He gets to the ring and walks up the ropes. He swings around the ring post and ducks between the top and middle rope..)

The bell sounds as Herrera runs over, delivers a double leg pick up and rams Ash back-first into the corner.


Clement: … and Dan isn’t wasting any time as he goes right after Ash!

Grayson: Clearly he took offense to her comments.

He then unleashes a series of shoulder thrusts, nearly driving all the air out of Ash. After grabbing her by her hair with both hands, Herrera tosses her towards the center of the ring. After bouncing off the canvas, Ash rolls over and crawls into the corner. As she pulls herself up in the corner, Herrera grabs her by the hair again and launches her towards the center of the ring.

Clement: Dan’s just being relentless with this assault.

Grayson: I don’t think we’ve ever seen him like this.

As Ash pulls herself up in the opposite corner, Herrera runs across the ring. When she turns around, she turns right into a running clothesline that sends her slumping down in the corner. Herrera proceeds to put the boots to her to cheers from the crowd. But after about ten seconds of stomps, the ref tries to move Herrera out of the way. But Herrera pulls his arm away from the ref and goes back to stomp a mudhole in Ash. After the referee pulls Herrera away from Ash, Herrera rips his arm away from the ref and confronts him. This quickly causes the ref to take several steps back.

Clement: Dan better watch himself or else he’ll get disqualified.

Grayson: I think that’s exactly what Ash wants.

Once Herrera turns around, he sees Ash pulling herself up using the ropes. So Herrera goes over and throws out a clothesline. But Ash grabs the top rope and drops down, sending Herrera tumbling hard to the outside.

As Herrera gets up, Ash runs into the ropes. When Ash comes back, she goes for a suicide dive to the outside. But Herrera catches her in mid air and powerslams her into the guard rail to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: What a counter by Herrera!

Grayson: He may have just broken her in half!

While Ash is writhing in pain, Herrera storms across ringside. He then motions for Manny Cruz to get up. After Cruz wisely gets up from his seat, Herrera snatches up the chair, folds it up and tosses it into the ring.

Clement: Oh no...

Grayson: This doesn’t look good...

Herrera then storms back around ringside. He reaches down, grabs Ash by her hair and rolls her back into the ring. After Herrera rolls back in, he kicks the chair over towards the corner. He then goes over, picks up Ash, brings her into the corner and sits her down on the top turnbuckle.

Clement: He’s going to deliver the Walking Papers onto the chair!

Grayson: That might just end Ash’s FGA career before it even starts!

Herrera grabs Ash and goes to for the Walking Papers onto the chair. But Ash hangs onto the top rope for dear life. So Herrera lets go and nails her with a right cross, sending her falling down onto the apron. As Herrera reaches over the ropes and pulls her back up, Ash quickly grabs Herrera and drops down, delivering a hangman across the top rope to cheers from the crowd. As Herrera stumbles back, Ash climbs back up onto the apron. She then connects with a springboard front dropkick to cheers from the crowd. She makes the cover.

Herrera shoves Ash off of him.

Ash picks up Herrera and goes for an irish whip. But Herrera reverses, sending Ash into the ropes. When Ash comes back, Herrera bends over to set up a back body drop. But Ash counters with a sunset flip to cheers from the crowd.

Herrera breaks up the pin with a bell clap using his legs.

As both grapplers get up, Ash gets kicked in the midsection. While she’s doubled over, Herrera grabs her and whips her hard into the corner. Upon impact, Ash bounces off the turnbuckles and drops down to her knees in pain. Herrera goes over, yanks her up by her hair and whips her hard into the opposite corner. After her back collides with the turnbuckles, Ash falls face-first onto the canvas. Herrera then goes over and picks up the steel chair.

Clement: He’s got that chair again!

As Herrera makes his way over to Ash with the chair, the ref comes up from behind and snatches the chair away from him. After throwing the chair down, the ref yells at Herrera. As Herrera goes to confront the ref, Ash runs over, hops up onto Herrera’s back and brings him down with a crucifix pin to cheers from the crowd.

After both grapplers get up, Ash grabs Herrera and goes for an irish whip. But Herrera reverses, sending Ash into the ropes. When Ash comes back, Herrera hoists her up in the air. But on the way down, Ash grabs Herrera, swings around and plants him with a DDT to cheers from the crowd. As Herrera gets up, Ash grabs the chair. She then slowly turns and looks at Herrera. She then tosses the chair at Herrera. Herrera catches the chair, but Ash quickly counters with Ash’d, kicking the chair right into his face to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Herrera just got that chair kicked right into the face!

Grayson: Did you hear that impact?

While Herrera is down, Ash takes the chair, sets it up and then runs into the ropes. When she comes back, she jumps onto the chair, jumps off the chair onto the ropes and then connects with a moonsault to cheers from the crowd. She hooks the leg.

Ash picks up Herrera and whips him into the corner. After sizing him up, Ash runs across the ring and connects with a clothesline to cheers from the crowd. She then grabs Herrera, runs from out of the corner and delivers a open-handed bulldog onto the seat of the chair to cheers from the crowd. She turns Herrera over and makes the cover.

Ash picks up Herrera, brings him over to what’s left of the chair and delivers a reverse side russian leg sweep onto the chair. While Herrera appears out of it, Ash points to the top turnbuckle to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Ash could be looking to put this one away!

Grayson: What an upset that would be.

After stepping through the ropes, Ash climbs up to the top turnbuckle. She then leaps off, going for the Sunset. But Herrera rolls out of the way, causing Ash to land back-first onto the chair to cheers from the crowd. With both grapplers down, the ref takes the chair and moves it out of the ring to boos from the crowd.

Clement: The ref finally gets the chair out of the ring. But how much damage has been done to both of these competitors from that chair?

Grayson: We’re going to see what these tow have got left...

Ash slowly gets up. But Herrera comes up from behind and knocks her down with a clothesline. Herrera picks up Ash and whips her hard back-first into the corner. As Ash stumbles from out of the corner, Herrera lifts her up onto his shoulders and throws her down with the Wit’s End to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Herrera grabs Ash by her hair, yanks her up and knees her in the midsection, doubling her over. He then lifts up Ash and throws her down with the Final World. He makes the cover.

Grayson: This girl’s tougher than she looks.

Herrera picks up Ash, lifts her up onto his shoulders and falls back, delivering an electric chair drop. As Ash arches her back in pain, Herrera heads into the corner. He then turns around and crouches down, waiting for sh to get in position.

Clement: You know what he’s setting up for!

Grayson: If he hits this spear, he’ll break her in half.

As Ash slowly gets up to her feet, Herrera begins to wave his arms with impatience. When Ash turns around, Herrera runs over and goes for the spear. But Ash connects with a superkick to cheers from the crowd. She makes the cover.

But Herrera catches her in mid air and delivers a German Suplex to cheers from the crowd. He then picks up Ash, brings her into the corner and sits her down across the top turnbuckle. Herrera then grabs Ash from off the top turnbuckle, turns, heads towards the center of the ring and plants her with the Walking Papers to cheers from the crowd. He turns over and makes the cover.

“Dangerous Business Since 1977” blasts over the PA as the crowd explodes in cheers.

Cruz: Here is your winner, DAN HERRERA!

Herrera heads into the corner, climbs up onto the bottom rope and raises his arm to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Dan Herrera picks up the win and advances to the Quarterfinals of the Frontier Lions Cup!

Grayson: Herrera came so close to becoming the new FGA World Champion at All-Star Showdown III. Now, he’s just three wins away from getting another shot at that championship.

[FGA Office]

(Before the match begun, Jimmy sat there on a steel chair in the hallway backstage with the World Championship sitting on the floor at his feet. He keeps his eyes locked on it while he begins to speak.)

Jimmy Page: Dom Harter...wants a rematch.

He pauses for a moment as he keeps his head down.

Jimmy Page: After so long, after not hearing his whiny little voice, after not seeing him for two weeks...he shows back up in Charlotte. And in front a rowdy crowd he gives an announcement, he says, "I want my rematch!" And so...Dom Harter from the bottom of my heart I just half to ask you ONE...thing.

Jimmy whips his head up looking at the camera lens with a sick smile, his eyes had a glossy look to them as he kept his sick and demented smile.

Jimmy Page: What took you so long...?! I've been waiting forever for you to say that, I've been waiting, and waiting for DOM HARTER to accept my challenges; But we all know what you speak and that's this...

He picks the belt up, giving the camera a good look before harshly dropping it to the floor as he rubs his hands in his hair, ruffling it for a moment. That smile turns into a rage-filled scowl.

Jimmy Page: If it took you that long Dom Harter to ACCEPT MY CHALLENGES, IF THAT WAS ALL I HAD TO DO THEN DAMN I'M A GENIUS! You want the belt, FINE, come and get it. I guess, you can't handle the fact that I'm gold and you will forever be nothing but BRONZE! And if you want it, FINE, I'm ready for it, I'll sign right on the dotted line. Dom Harter will get his rematch and Jimmy Page will get the only thing he's wanted since forever: Dom Harter's blood on his hands. So when I make short work of Riley Owens..I want you to see it Harter. THIS is your future, this is what's waiting for you. No one to hold your hand, no one to scheme with, NO...HOPE....FOR HARTER!!! You wanna rematch fine...fine...you got it...third place deserves a consolation prize anyway.

(Jimmy sits there and focus, just minutes away from his match he keeps his wits about him and knows he still has a obstacle in his way: Riley Owens.)

“CHAMPION vs CHAMPION”
Jimmy Page vs. Riley Owens

"De(v)tails" by A Bullet for Pretty Boy begins to play over the speakers. Owens walks out onto the entrance ramp and look at the crowd. He adjusts his wrist tape and then slowly walks down the ramp.

Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is your main event of the evening! Introducing first, now residing out of Miami, Florida! Weighing in at 200 pounds! He is the reigning Pride Champion… RILEY OWENS!

Owens walks around the ring once and wipes his boots before sliding into the ring. Owens climbs the nearest turnbuckle and raises a fist. He hops off, adjust his kickpads, and waits for his opponent.

Clement: Despite the Young Guns loss to the SMWB at All-Star Showdown III, Riley has been on one heck of a roll. He has taken his game to the next level and has experienced much success in recent months.

Grayson: But will that hot streak come to an end tonight against Jimmy Page, the new World Champion?

The familiar eerie cue up from, "They Are Lost" by Last Remaining Pinnacle begins, it continues for ten seconds, the lights die down. Suddenly, a guitar plays, the lights strobe red. Suddenly guitars and drums kick in, signalling "Born of a Broken Man" by Rage Against The Machine, the lights become wild, flashing red. A silhouette of Jimmy Page blasts through the curtains, his controlled stagger and all. He slowly raises his head, the camera zooms in and captures his stoic expression is seen through the flashing red lights. He looks around chewing frantically on a piece of gum as he stalks his way down the ramp.

Cruz: And his opponent, from Flint, Michigan! Weighing in at 230 pounds! He is the reigning World Champion… JIMMY PAGE!

His eyes glare around as he stops at the end of the ramp. He scowls for a moment, then goes to the front of the ring. Page takes a running start and slides onto the apron, stopping in the middle. His berates the crowd with insults, pointing at everyone in the arena, telling them all off. He spits his gum out towards them, then gets inside of the ring, goes to his left, and stands on the turnbuckle, arms out, and letting out a primal shout. The fans boo him as he looks around with his usual scowl. He leaps down, slumps down onto the middle turnbuckle and sits with his right hand on his cheek, waiting for the match to begin.

Clement: Jimmy Page finally became the FGA World Champion at All-Star Showdown III. But he was denied the opportunity to do the one thing that has been clawing at him for nearly eight months. And that is defeating Dom Harter inside the ring.

Grayson: Page won the championship. But it was Dan Herrera that eliminated Dom Harter from the match, denying Page the chance to get his hands on Harter one on one. But Page will finally have his chance at Above & Beyond III, when he defends his gold against the former champion.

The bell sounds as Page goes over and calls for Manny Cruz to hand him his FGA World Championship belt. Once Cruz hands the belt over to him, Page snatches the belt, walks over to Riley and holds the belt right up in his face to boos from the crowd.

Clement: Look at Page rubbing the belt in Riley’s face.

Grayson: He just wants to remind Riley of the one thing he’ll never achieve as long as Page is around.

Riley brushes past Page and calls for Cruz to hand him his Pride Championship belt. Once Cruz hands him the belt, Riley takes the belt, walks over to Page and holds it up in his face to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: And now Riley returns the favor!

Page tries to turn away, but Riley keeps the belt held in his face as the crowd continues to cheer. Riley has a big smirk on his face while doing it.

Clement: He’s really rubbing it in now!

Grayson: Yeah, I bet Riley is real proud of himself...

Page has had enough and mushes Riley in the face, pushing him back to boos from the crowd. But the boos turn to cheers as Riley heads back over and shoves Page into the ropes. Page quickly grasps his championship and tries to hit Riley with it, but the ref steps in and holds him back.

The ref then takes the FGA World Championship belt away from Page and hands it over to Cruz on the outside. He then calls for Riley to hand over his belt as Riley. Riley gives him his Pride Championship belt. After the ref hands it over to Cruz on the outside, he motions for both men to engage. The two men begin to slowly circle the ring. They never take their eyes off of each other. As they continue to circle the ring, Page looks Riley up and down and smirks. This offends Riley and causes him to say something to Page. Page responds by running his mouth at Riley. The two then run towards each other and engage in a violent collar & elbow tie-up up.

Clement: Here we go!

They quickly jockey for position, yanking each other back and forth in the process. Page then shoves Riley into the ropes. But Riley quickly switches positions and pushes Page against the ropes. Page then rolls over and moves Riley into the ropes. But Riley is able to roll over and push Page against the turnbuckles. The ref then goes over and gives both men until the count of five to break the hold.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Both men appear to make a clean break. That is, until Page shoves Riley back to boos from the crowd. As Riley comes back over towards Page, the two engage in another lock up. The two men continue to jockey for position as they roll across the ropes. Page ends up getting the upperhand as he presses Riley up against the turnbuckles. The ref goes back over and gives both men until the count of five to break the hold.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Both men make a clean break… until Riley slaps Page across the face, causing the crowd to explode in cheers. After turning away to hold his cheek, Page turns Page to Riley and smiles… before spitting right in his face, causing the crowd to erupt in boos.

Clement: Page with a blatant show of disrespect towards Riley Owens!

Riley wipes the spittle from off his face and rushes down Page. The crowd cheers as Riley tackles him to the mat with a double leg takedown. Riley quickly mounts on top of Page and swings away with rights and lefts. But amongst the onslaught, Page is able to turn over, mount himself on top of Riley and return the favor as the crowd boos. Riley then rolls back over on Page and hammers away with wild swings. But Page turns over, sending both men underneath the bottom rope and to the floor.

As both men get up to their feet, they lunge at each other, swinging away with rights and lefts as the crowd cheers. But the cheers turn to boos once Page stops Riley with a knee strike to the midsection. He then takes Riley, places him in a side headlock and rakes his eyes along the edge of the apron. The crowd boos as Riley stumbles away from Page and into the guard rail. Page comes up from behind, takes Riley and slams his head against the top of the guard rail. After Riley stumbles around ringside and drops to one knee in front of Cruz, Page goes over and snatches his FGA World Championship belt. He then holds his belt out with one hand as he grabs Riley by the head with the other. He then presses Riley’s face against the center plate of the belt. The crowd boos as Page literally rubs his success in Riley’s face.

Clement: Page again taunts Riley with the World Title.

Page then tosses the belt down before taking Riley and rolling him back into the ring. After rolling himself back in, Page picks up Riley and nails him with a headbutt, sending him stumbling into the ropes. Page then goes over, grabs Riley by the ears, brings him away from the ropes and delivers another headbutt. This time, Riley drops down to one knee before getting up and stumbling into the ropes. Page goes over, grabs Riley brings him away from the ropes and delivers a third headbutt. This time, Riley stumbles back into the corner. Page then begins to slowly approach Riley. He dares Riley to attack him. but Riley appears to be dazed at this point.

As Page approaches, Riley throws out a kick to the midsection. He then throws out another… and another… and another. But on the last kick, Page catches his foot. He then tries to yank Riley from out of the corner, but Riley hangs onto the top rope for dear life. So Page throws down his leg and goes to punch him in the face. But Riley blocks and counters with a forearm strike to the face. Page then throws another right hand. But again, Riley blocks and counters with a forearm strike. Page then throws out a haymaker. But Riley ducks and nails Page with a forearm strike. Page then throws out a knife-edge chop. But again, Riley ducks and counters with a forearm strike. He then reaches out, cradles Page’s head with one arm while he uses the other to deliver a series of forearm strikes to the face. He then takes Page and whips him into the ropes. When Page comes back, Riley doubles him over with a rolling solebutt to the midsection. Riley then grabs Page in a cravat and delivers a series of knee strike to the head to cheers from the crowd. Riley follows up with a cravat suplex as the crowd cheers. He then heads over and makes the cover.

Riley picks up Page and moves him into the corner. After measuring up Page, Riley unleashes a series of shoot kicks to the chest. A loud thud can be heard after Riley’s shin connects with Page’s chest. Riley continues the attack of kicks as Page begins to slump down in the corner. While Page is down, Riley grabs the top rope with both hands and delivers a series of stomps to the chest to cheers from the crowd. After reaching down and picking up Page, Riley whips him into the opposite corner. Riley then runs across the ring, but Page nails him with a boot to the face to boos from the crowd. As Riley stumbles back, Page runs from out of the corner. But Riley catches him with a roundhouse kick to the head, knocking him down to one knee to cheers from the crowd. Riley then sizes up Page before delivering a shoot kick to the back of the head, knocking him down. Riley pulls him over and makes the cover.

Clement: Clearly there’s no love lost between these two. They would love for nothing more than to defeat the other here tonight. But both men having huge challenges looming over their shoulders.

Grayson: That’s right. You’ve got to know that somewhere, Kevin Hardaway and Dom Harter are hoping that these two beat the hell out of each other.

Riley picks up Page and delivers a series of alternating shoot kicks to the legs, followed alternating forearm strikes to the head, followed by a spinning backfist that knocks Page down. Riley picks up Page and goes for a brainbuster, but Page blocks the move. So after delivering a punch to the midsection, Riley tries for another brainbuster. But again, Page blocks the move. Page then counters with a vertical suplex to boos from the crowd.

As both men slowly get up, Page connects with a forearm strike to the face. Riley responds with a forearm strike of his own. Page comes back with another forearm strike. Riley responds with another forearm strike of his own. Page comes back with two forearm strikes. Riley comes back with three forearm strikes. After shaking off the blows, Page comes back with four forearm strikes. After shaking off the blows, Riley comes back with five forearm strikes. Page appears dazed, but he quickly snaps out of it and connects with the Aneurysm, knocking Riley down to boos from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Clement: Page won that exchange. But how much did those forearm shots take out of him?

Page picks up Riley, storms over towards the corner and slams his head into the top turnbuckle. After turning Riley around, Page delivers a forearm strike, followed by an elbow strike, followed by a forearm strike, followed by an elbow strike, followed by another forearm strike, followed by another elbow strike. Page then slaps Riley across the face to boos from the crowd. But he boos turn to cheers as Riley lunges forward, cradles Page’s head with one arm and delivers a series of rapid forearm strikes with another.

Clement: Look at Riley go!

Grayson: It’s as if those forearms just woke him up!

While Page is dazed, Riley steps back and then goes for the Cyclone Kill. But Page swats down his foot and counters with a double chop to the throat, doubling Riley over to boos from the crowd. After standing Riley up and grabbing him by the throat, Page moves him back into the corner where he chokes Riley. Page then climbs up onto the middle ropes and presses down as the crowd boos.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR….

Page lets go… only to slap Riley across the face to boos from the crowd. Page shouts out “I am the law!” before slapping Riley across the face again. Riley shouts “I am the King of the F’n World!” before slapping Riley again. But the boos quickly turn to cheers as Riley grabs Page, runs from out of the corner and delivers an inverted atomic drop to cheers from the crowd. While Page is doubled over, Riley runs into the ropes. When Riley comes back, Page stands up and knocks him down with a lariat to boos from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Page then presses Riley’s arm down and makes the cover again.

But the cheers turn to boos as Page grabs Riley, brings him up to his feet, heads back into the corner and slams his head into the top turnbuckle. After turning Riley around, Page unleashes a series of rapid forearm strikes that send Riley slumping down in the corner. Page then chokes Riley with his boot while he pulls down on the top rope.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Page lets go to run into the ropes. When he comes back, he connects with a running knee facewash to boos from the crowd. Page then runs back into the ropes. When he comes back, he connects with another running knee facewash to boos from the crowd. Page shouts down at Riley before running back into the ropes. When Page comes back, he delivers another running knee facewash. This time, Page knocks Riley through the ropes and to the floor. The crowd boos as Page leans over the top rope and spits down on Riley.

Ref: ONE………………….. TWO……………………… THREE……………….. FOUR…………

Riley reaches up and places his palms of the edge of the apron. He slowly pulls himself up. But he’s met with a baseball slide to the face from Page, knocking him down. After rolling to the outside, Page goes over, reaches down and peels back the mat, exposing the concrete floor underneath to boos from the crowd.

Clement: This isn’t good, Evan.

Grayson: Of course it’s not good. Page doesn’t just want to beat Riley. He wants to cripple him.

Page picks up Riley, hooks his arms and goes for a double underhook suplex onto the exposed floor. But Riley sandbags by dropping down to one knee. So Page lets go and delivers a forearm strike to the head. He then hooks Riley’s arms and goes for another suplex. But again, Riley blocks the move. So Page lets go, picks up Riley, grabs him by the head, runs and swings the back of his head against the ring post to boos from the crowd. Riley quickly drops down to all fours. Page then grabs Riley by the ears, drags him into position, hooks his arms and delivers a double underhook suplex onto the concrete. The crowd boos as Riley cringes in pain.

Clement: Riley just got suplexed onto the cold, unforgiving floor!

Grayson: That’s got to hurt!

Page picks up Riley and throws him down with a scoop slam on the concrete. He reaches down, yanks up Riley and throws him down with another scoop slam onto the concrete. Page then picks up Riley, scoops him up, rams him against the guard rail, turns, rams him against the edge of the apron, turns and throws him down onto the concrete to boos from the crowd.

Clement: Come on, Page! Enough’s enough!

Grayson: It will only be enough when Page says so...

Page then taunts Riley has he leans over him. After a few playful slaps, Page follows up with a jumping stomp to the side of the head. He then reaches down, picks up Riley and rolls him back into the ring. After Page rolls himself back in, he makes the cover.

Riley gets his shoulder up to cheers from the crowd. Page slowly turns and gives the ref the dirtiest look. But the ref tells him that it was only a two count.

Page gets up, heads over towards the corner and rips off the top turnbuckle pad, exposing the steel turnbuckle underneath.

Clement: Cone on, Page...

Grayson: Like I said, Page wants to cripple Riley. He had the nerve to claim that he broke Page? Well now Page is going to break him for real.

The ref goes over and tells Page to put the turnbuckle pad back on. Page then wags the turnbuckle pad in front of the ref’s face before nonchalantly chucking it over his shoulders to the outside. He then turns, grabs the middle turnbuckle pad and ribs that one off, too.

Clement: Not that one, too!

Page chucks that turnbuckle pad to the outside as well. He then heads over towards Riley and brings him up to his feet. After a knee to the lower abdomen doubles Riley over, Page lifts him up for a turnbuckle powerbomb. But Riley nails him with an overhead elbow to the top of the head. He then rolls off of Page’s shoulders, lands on his feet and goes for a roundhouse kick. But Page ducks, grabs Riley from behind and throws him down with a half nelson suplex to boos from the crowd. Page crawls over, turns Riley over and makes the cover.

Grayson: How did Riley get his shoulder up?

Page picks up Riey and goes for another turnbuckle powerbomb into the exposed turnbuckles. But at the last second, Riley reverses with a hurricanrana to cheers from the crowd.

As Riley slowly gets up, Page takes advantage by going for the Trauma Symphony. But Riley’s catches his leg to cheers from the crowd. After Riley gets to his feet, Page reaches out and takes several wild swipes at him. But Riley is easily able to move his head out of the way. He then follows up by throwing Page down with a capture suplex to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: What a suplex by Riley!

Grayson: Yeah, but how much does he have left in him?

After Riley gets back up to his feet, he takes Page and whips him into the corner. Riley runs across the ring and connects with a jumping knee strike to the face. He then takes Riley and whips him into the opposite corner. Riley runs across the ring and connects with a forearm strike to the head. He then takes Page and whips him back into the opposite corner. Riley runs across the ring and connects with a yakuza kick to cheers from the crowd. He then takes Page and whips him back into the previous corner. Riley runs across the ring and connects with a dropkick to cheers from the crowd. Page stumbles from out of the corner before dropping down to all fours. Riley then goes over, wraps his arms around Page’s waist and goes for an Everest German Suplex. But Page reaches out and grabs the middle rope with one arm. Riley continues to try and pull Page off the rope. But Page continues to hang on. Riley then musters up the stretch to yank Page off the ropes and hit the Everest German Suplex to cheers from the crowd.

But Page hooks his arms underneath the ropes and jerks back, sending Riley down to the canvas. As Riley rolls up to his feet, Page runs from out of the corner and connects with a yakuza kick to boos from the crowd. Page makes the cover.

Page reaches down, grabs Riley by the arm and yanks him back up. He goes for another short-arm clothesline. But Riley ducks, wraps around Page and turns him inside out with the Ripcord Lariat to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Grayson: I didn't see anything...

After Page gets back up, he picks up Riley from off his knee, lifts him up, runs into the corner and delivers a turnbuckle powerbomb into the exposed turnbuckles to boos from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Page picks up Riley, grabs him from behind and goes for the Ripcord Lariat….

… but Riley ducks. When Page turns around, he turns into a rolling elbow to cheers from the crowd. As Page drops down to one knee, Riley runs into the ropes. When he comes back, he blasts Page with Trauma Symphony to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Riley just nailed Page with his own move! He just nailed him with Trauma Symphony!

Riley then picks up Page and lifts him up for a brainbuster. But on the way up, Page knees him in the head, forcing Riley to drop him down. Page then turns Riley around, grabs him from behind and delivers a sleeper suplex to boos from the crowd.

Grayson: And now Page gives Riley one of his own moves!

Clement: Page just dropped Riley right on his head! That’s got to be… no wait! Riley is starting to get back up!

Grayson: How is he still doing this!?

As Riley slowly gets up, Page runs over and connects with the Trauma Symphony to boos from the crowd. He then picks up Riley and delivers Nirvana to boos from the crowd. Page turns him over to make the cover.

Page gets his arm raised by the ref to boos from the crowd.

Clement: Jimmy Page gets the win! What a contest!

Grayson: I don’t think I’ve ever seen two people beat the hell out of each other like those two just did! There was clearly no love lost here. Both men were putting a little extra on their punches and kicks. Both of these men wanted so badly to prove to the other that they were better. But in the end, Jimmy Page was the better man tonight.

Clement: But will he be the better man at August 23rd, when he defends his championship against Dom Harter? Will Page lose the belt just as quickly as he won it? We’ll find it in a few weeks at Above & Beyond III!
