Ring Entrance:
"Ain't No Rest For the Wicked" rings out over the loudspeakers, and Dane Archer stalks out from backstage. He gives the fans a half-hearted glare before spitting on the floor to his left, cracking his neck and making his way to the ring, where he rolls in underneath the bottom rope. He lurches to his feet, making the rounds of the ropes, gripping the top as he looks out at the crowd, egging on some of the jeers and giving a nod to the rare cheer or chant in his direction. Satisfied, he pulls off his t-shirt and throws it in the corner before doing some last minute stretches and awaiting the opening bell.
CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base:
Adam Baldwin
Gimmick:
Surly, incorrigible veteran with a penchant for head drops.
Bio:
After getting his start and earning some renown in several smaller independent promotions in the late nineties, but failing to catch on with any of the national promotions he tried out for, Dane made his way overseas and became a "star" of a multitude of Japanese independents as a reckless, violent gaijin. After several years making an extremely solid living as a freelancer, Dane decided to finally leave the country that had provided him with everything he ever wanted (money, booze, kobe beef, moderately expensive whores, and plenty of people to do violent acts upon) and return home to try and make his mark one last time.
