"Bones” by Young Guns
Ring Attire:
Their regular ring gear, plus black entrance jackets.
Ring Entrance:
“Bones” by Young Guns blares throughout the arena as Blake Jones, one half of the Young Guns, quickly explodes out through the curtains and stands at the beginning of the walkway. He gives the audience a great big smile as Riley Owens slowly makes his way out after him. Both men are wearing black jackets with lights popping back and forth on the back of them. The two men look at each other and nod at one another before making their way down to the ring. Blake hops up and down and continues to keep a smirk on his face as he slaps hands with a lot of hands and gets pretty interactive with them, while Riley just slaps hands and slides into the ring. Jones continues to sing along to the song as he hops on the apron before hopping over the ropes and landing on his feet. Both he and Riley make their way to the center of the ring and the lights cut as their names shine out in the darkness, the colors changing. Once the lights come back on, the two young men remove their jackets and toss them to one of the ringside workers before heading off to their corners.
CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Bases:
Blake Jones: Briley Pierce
Riley Owens: Kyle O’Reilly
Gimmick:
Both seem to have their own type of gimmick. Both are pretty much young guns of wrestling, but they have their differences. Owens is the serious one. Jones is the joker, meaning that he also is the more charismatic one of the two. Riley is just someone trying to make a bigger name for himself. Blake is sort of on the same boat, but has managed to find himself in the big leagues for a longer period. Together, Riley’s trying to cement a bigger legacy with FGA and Blake’s trying to pick up his fifth tag title reign.
Bio:
Blake and Riley officially formed a team at FGA’s Only The Strong Surive on April 19th, 2014. It is well known that Sean Sands, former FGA Heavyweight champion, set up the pair. On May 3rd, 2014, Jones and Owens won their debut as a tag team, advancing to the semis of the Dynamic Duos tourney.
