Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship Match
(c) The Murder vs. Super Mario Wrestling Bros
"Rockit" begins to play over the speakers as the SMWB step through the curtain to cheers from the crowd. After looking around at the crowd and nodding their heads in approval, the SMWB jump up and races down the aisle.
Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! And it is for the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship! Introducing first, coming in at a combined weight of 373 pounds! They are the team of Max Powers and Landon Knight, the SUPER MARIO WRESTLING BROS!
After sliding underneath the bottom rope and into the ring, they push themselves up and head into opposite corners. After climbing up onto the second rope and trowing their index finger in the air, they climb to the top turnbuckle and backflip off, landing safely on their feet in the ring to cheers.
Clement: The Super Mario Wrestling Bros look pumped and ready for their Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship Match. They've finally arrived at the big dance. But is this the night that they take that next step? Is this the night where they do the unthinkable and become champions?
Grayson: They've got tons of potential. But this is The Murder that we're talking about here. If no one else could do it, I don't think the SMWB can. At least not right now.
The lights go out in the arena as Alice In Chain's “Man In The Box” starts playing over the speaker system. The strobe lights begin flickering on the entrance curtain in pace with the drum and base line until they reach a crescendo at the chorus as Malcolm Drake and Bob Pooler burst through the curtain. Drake stops beyond the curtain, casting wary sideways glances at the fans along ringside. Pooler smiles as he hears the boos from the crowd. He makes his way down to the ring as he recoils from the hands of those closest to the guard rail.
Cruz: And their opponents, coming in at a combined weight of 408 pounds! They are the reigning... defending... Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions! They are the team of Malcolm Drake and Bob Pooler, THE MURDER!
Drake recoils from those fans that attempt to touch him, screaming at them and smacking himself in the head along the way to the ring. Drake slides until the bottom rope on his stomach and crawls to the nearest turnbuckle corner, where he slumps his arms over the middle rope, staring out at the crowd. Pooler rolls under the bottom rope and stands up in the corner, a smirk on his face as he stretches his arms across his chest and awaits the start of the match. Drake slides under the bottom rope on his stomach and crawls to the nearest turnbuckle corner, where he slumps his arms over the middle rope, staring out at the crowd. He turns back towards the ring, slouching in the corner; his hair draped over his face.
Clement: The Murder are two-time Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions. They've survived Ultimate Endurance. They've beaten Bloodbath & Beyond, The Shoot Kings, The Usual Suspects and the U.K. Dragons, just to name a few. Will they add the Super Mario Wrestling Bros to their list tonight?
Grayson: The SMWB have been fortunate to not have crossed The Murder until now. Every other team that has crossed them has never been the same. Every other team that has crossed them has lost to them. What do you think is going to happen?
The bell sounds as Bob Pooler and Landon Knight start things off. They go to lock up. Pooler quickly places Landon in a side headlock. But Landon slips out and reverses into a hammerlock. Pooler then leans forward and counters into a hammerlock of his own. But Landon reaches back, elbows him in the face and then snapmares him down to the canvas. He quickly runs into the ropes. When Landon comes back, he connects with a front dropkick to the face to cheers from the crowd. He makes the cover.

Clement: Speed and agility are the Mario Bros' biggest strengths. And The Murder has pretty much neutralized them over the last several minutes. They've made frequent tags, isolated the ring and have kept Max grounded.
Grayson: This is what The Murder do. They grind down the opposition until they get them right where they want them. I bet the Super Mario Wrestling Bros are really starting to regret running their mouths at The Murder.
Once Drake gets in, he nails Max with a punch to the midsection, doubling him over. He then sizes up Max before rocking him with a forearm strike to the jaw. He then lunges forward and chokes Max with both hands to boos from the crowd. The ref gives Drake until the count of five to break the hold.
