Battle Royal
MID-ATLANTIC LEGACY CHAMPIONSHIP
Participants: Matt Summers, Chaz Holiday, Joshua Black, Jaxie Wyatt, Alistair Mangold, Jason Richards, Jared James, Johnny Karma
The sound of a wolf howling through out the arena can be heard as the lights go out. The lights then begin to flash red, white, and blue as Richards appears from behind the curtain.
Cruz: JASON RICHARDS!
He looks out over the crowd pumping them up as he makes his way to the ring holding is hand out. The crowd slaps it as he makes his way around the ring stopping at the corner he stands on a chair once again hyping up the crowd. He jumps up on the apron stepping through the ropes he begins stretching in the corner waiting for his opponent.
The lights in the arena start to flicker as the beginning of "This Is The New Shit" by Marilyn Manson begins to play throughout the arena. A man walks out from the back wearing a black suit and a black shirt with a white tie. He has a thick beard and thick glasses. Obviously, this is Johnny Windham.

Next, wearing a tight black leather mini-skirt, a skin tight white shirt that says "Your Dream Come True" on the front in black lettering, and black go-go boots, Heather Black walks out from behind the curtain. Her shoulder length dark red hair is tied back and her outfit definitely shows off her figure.

Finally, out from behind the curtain, is the man everyone came to see, Joshua Black. Joshua is wearing his usual black tights that stop mid-thigh, with yellow trim at the waist and mid-thigh, and a black t-shirt with words "Flawless Victory" written on the front in yellow lettering. He stands at the entranceway between Johnny and Heather, looks around the crowd smiling, and starts heading to the ring.

Cruz: JOSHUA BLACK!
As the group gets to the ring, Johnny walks up the steps and walks into the ring. Joshua picks Heather up by the waist and places her on the ring apron, as Johnny holds the ring ropes open for her to climb in. Joshua slides under the bottom rope and walks over to the corner of the ring. He jumps onto the middle turnbuckle and stares out into the crowd, with a cocky grin on his face.

Joshua jumps off the turnbuckle and holds the ropes open for Heather to climb through the ropes. Johnny exits the ring and walks down the steps to the floor, then holds Heather's hand as she does the same as the music dies down and Joshua takes off his shirt and tosses it to Johnny.
["Lose Yourself" by Eminem begins to play over the PA system]

[Through the black curtains steps the rookie Matt Summers wearing a plain black hood unzipped with his ring attire - black full length tights with a white zig zag pattern on both legs and black boots with kickpads over them. He also has on black elbowpads and wrist-tape.]

[The fans are bopping their heads and smacking the metal guardrails to the beat as Matt Summers begins to walk down the aisle to the ring. He smacks hands with the fans as he heads to the ring.]

[Summers stops in mid aisle and stares at the ring. He then looks around at the cheering crowd. He nods at the fans and acknowledges them as he continues moving forward towards the ringside area.]

[Once he reaches the ringside area, Matt Summers proceeds to remove his hoodie and hands it to a ringside attendant before climbing on the ring apron and into the ring through the top and middle rope.]

[The music fades out as Summers walks into his respective corner and just leans forward into it so his forehead is resting on it with his back facing the ring announcer and referee.]
Cruz: MATT SUMMERS!
"Blackout" by Breathe Carolina begins to play and Chaz Holiday emerges from behind the black curtains. He stops at the top of the entrance, smiling and looking around at the crowd.
Cruz: CHAZ HOLIDAY!
As he makes his way to the ring, he high fives fans along the way. As he gets to the ring, he jumps up on the apron and steps between the ropes, getting into the ring.
The heavy bass beats of "Blood" by Sons and Daughters fills the arena as the main lights dim and purple-blue lights flood the stage. From behind the curtain, Jaxie Wyatt takes to the small ramp, a hurricane of copper colored hair and black leather. She grins widely to the crowd before her expression turns pensive as she takes in the ring.
Cruz: JAXIE WYATT!
She slowly makes her way down the ramp and climbs to the ring apron before sliding in through the second rope. Bathed in the purple-blue light, Jaxie climbs the turnbuckle and raises her arms high above her head before she jumps easily down to the canvas, an intense expression on her face as she waits for the match to start.
"Back Round" blasts through the speakers and Alistair Mangold appears from the backstage area. The legend ignores the chorus of boos that shower him from all sides and walks towards the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and throws his coat to the ring crew member. As he stands in the middle of the ring, he spreads his hands and closes his eyes.
Cruz: ALISTAIR MANGOLD!
All the lights in the arena black out except for a spotlight that shines on him from above. People still boo, but Mangold takes a bow like he is cheered and the lights come back on again. The music dies out and just after that, Alistair is introduced.
The familiar riff of Washed Out's "Feel It All Around" permeates through the arena as Jared James slowly waltzes out from the backstage area. A slight grin on his face, James paces his way down to the ring and during this short journey he periodically stops to high five fans in attendance.
Cruz: JARED JAMES!
Once at the ring, he rolls onto the mat and in one motion hops up onto his feet before running into the far corner -- jumping up to the second rope. He throws both arms into the air, enthusiasm plastered across his face, before jumping down to the mat once more and heading into his corner where he sits on the bottom rope in anticipation for his upcoming bout.
[The arena lights flash a myriad of different colours in tune with John Bonham’s epic drum intro to “When the Levee Breaks” fills the arena, and at the exact microsecond that the flawless combination of Robert Plant’s harmonica and Jimmy Page’s riff starts The Man, The Myth, The Johnny Karma swaggers out onto the top of the ramp to greet his adoring public, coming to a stop on top of the ramp to blow a kiss to all his fans in attendance who paid to see him and only him this evening …before Cherry Baum hands him a microphone]
Karma: Ladies and…
[Karma pauses, looking out into the crowd]
Karma: …
[Karma keeps looking]
Karma: …Miss Baum?
[Karma hands the microphone to Cherry]
Cherry: If I can have your attention please…Johnny Karma would like to know if Pippa Middleton received his invitation to watch him rock her world. So if you’re here, Pippa, can you please raise your hand?
[Karma and Cherry wait, looking around the Royal Albert Hall, without seeing a raised hand]
Karma: Well that’s a bummer…
[Karma takes a red rose from out of his ring jacket, and tosses it aside, as Cherry quickly tires to change the subject]
Cherry: For your enjoyment and wish fulfilment, weighing in at 233lbs and hailing from Queens, NYC…he is The King of New York, and for tonight you should stand in his presence for he is also the King of England…he is JOHNNY KARMA!!!
[Cherry hands the mic to Karma]
Karma: Ladies and…
[Karma looks out to the crowd]
Karma: …Sienna Miller got my invite, right?
[Karma looks to Cherry, who shrugs]
Karma: Tonight the Iron Man of the Gold Rush Rumble will step into the ring to defend his title as the God of the Battle Royal, and when I step into that ring fools and losers will fly through the air with the greatest of ease, as tonight Karmic Airlines starts their Transatlantic service at the expense of each and every one of you in the ring. And with that said…come on, surely Gemma Arterton got my invite?
[Karma looks to Cherry, and the pair decide it’s best to continue down to the ring]
The bell sounds as all four grapplers begin to survey the land around them. They begin to look around at the other grapplers around them. They're waiting impatiently for someone, anyone, to make the first move. Just then, Matt Summers darts over and takes Joshua Black down to the canvas with a double leg takedown. The crowd cheers as he mounts himself on top of Black and hammers away with rights and lefts. The other six grapplers all converge near the center of the ring, trading wild punch after wild punch.
Clement: It didn't take long for this match to get out of control.
Grayson: There's no order in a match like this. There's no friends, only foes. It's every man, and woman, for themselves.
Karma takes Holiday and slams his head into the top turnbuckle. After turning Holiday around, Karma unleashes a series of knife-edge chops to boos from the crowd. He then reaches down, wraps his arms around both of Holiday's legs and tries to lift him over the to rope and to the floor. But Summers makes the save, delivering a double ax handle to the back of Karma's neck.
Grayson: What is Summers doing? He should be letting Holiday get tossed over the ropes, not saving him.
Clement: Holiday has been a mentor to Summers thus far in his career. He's not about to turn his back on him over a championship.
Across the ring, Jared James and Jaxie Wyatt take turns nailing Alistair Mangold with right hands in the corner. The two then bring Mangold from out of the corner and whip him into the ropes. When Mangold comes back, Jared and Jaxie go for a double clothesline. But Mangold swats through their clothesline attempt and continues to run into the ropes. When Mangold comes back, he knocks both of them down with a clothesline.
Grayson: Nice try there by Jared and Jaxie. It's going to take more than a double clothesline to knock down The God Among Men.
Back across the ring, Summers holds Karma back so Holiday can deliver knife-edge chops to the chest. Once Summers lets go, Holiday holds Karma from behind. Summers sizes up Karma before delivering a series of chops of his own. The two men then grab Karma by the legs and try to dump him over the top rope and to the floor. But Karma wraps his arms up in the ropes, making it difficult for Summers and Holiday to eliminate him. While the two struggle to send Karma over the top rope, Black delivers a bell clap from behind to Summers. Karma then slips down and elbows Holiday in the midsection.
Jason Richards takes Jared and brings him into the corner. He unleashes a series of shoot kicks to the chest, followed by a jumping back kick that sends him slumping down in the corner. After stepping back towards the center of the ring, Richards runs forward and connects with a running knee to the face of Jared. He then stomps away at Jared, kicking him underneath the bottom rope and to the floor.
Grayson: Jared's just been knocked to the outside! That means he's eliminated, right?
Clement: No, you have to be sent over the top rope. Not under the bottom rope.
Mangold grabs Jaxie and whips her into the ropes. When Jaxie comes back, Mangold hoists her up over his head. The crowd boos as Mangold military presses Jaxie. He then runs towards the ropes, looking to send Jaxie flying over the top rope and several rows into the crowd. But Jaxie slips down from behind, grabs Mangold around the waist and tries to hoist him over the top rope and to the floor. But it's to no avail as Mangold reaches back and elbows her in the face. As Jaxie stumbles back, Mangold runs over and knocks her down with a big boot to the face.
Grayson: What was that? Did she think she was going to lift him over the top rope all by her lonesome?
Black takes Summers and whips him into the ropes. When Summers comes back, Black throws him down with a belly to belly suplex to boos from the crowd. He then gets up and follows up with a leg drop across the throat. Black gets back up, picks up Summers and runs towards the ropes. Black tosses him over the top rope. But Summers luckily lands on the apron.
Clement: Nice save there by Summers. He was that close to being the first man eliminated in this contest.
Holiday grabs Karma and slams his head into the turnbuckle as the crowd counts along.
Crowd: ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE, TEN!
The crowd cheers as Karma appears to be pretty dazed. So Holiday quickly grabs Karma and tries to dump him over the top rope. But Karma still has the presence of mind to wrap himself up in the ropes. So Holiday delivers three clubbing shots to the back of the neck. After slamming Karma's head back into the top turnbuckle, Holiday turns Karma around, climbs up onto the middle ropes and begins to punch him as the crowd counts along.
Ref: ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE, SIX, SEV--
Karma reaches up and low blows Holiday, doubling him over in pain to boos from the crowd.
Clement: Oh come on!
Grayson: "Oh come on" what? This is a Battle Royal. That was perfectly legal.
After slipping out from in between Holiday's legs, Karma shoves Holiday. Holiday is sent tumbling over the top rope. But he luckily lands on the apron and quickly grabs the ropes.
In the corner, Mangold unleashes a series of knee strikes to Jaxie. He then brings Jaxie from out of the corner and whips her into the ropes. When Jaxie comes back, Mangold bends over to set up a back body drop. But Jaxie counters with a facebreaker to cheers from the crowd. As Mangold stumbles back, Jaxie runs into the ropes. When Jaxie comes back, Mangold grabs her, runs and tosses her over the top rope. Mangold turns and raises his hands in the air to cheers from the crowd. But Jaxie lands on the apron, not on the floor. Mangold turns around and sees Jaxie pulling herself up using the ropes. So Mangold runs back over towards her. Mangold looks to knock her off the apron. But Jaxie pulls down the top rope, sending Mangold tumbling over the top rope and down onto the apron.
Clement: Is he gone? No... Mangold is still hanging on for dear life.
Richards goes over and gives Summers a blow to the back. He then turns Summers around and whips him into the corner. Richards runs into the corner. But Summers nails him with an elbow to the face to cheers from the crowd. While Richards stumbles back, Summers hoists himself up onto the middle ropes, jumps off and knocks him down with a diving calf kick.
Back out on the apron, Jaxie continues to kick away at Mangold, trying to knock him off the apron and to the floor. But Mangold is able to roll back into the ring. After reaching through the ropes, she grabs Mangold and tries to suplex him to the outside. But Mangold blocks the move. He then lifts Jaxie up for a vertical suplex to boos from the crowd. But Jaxie slips down from behind and quickly counters with a dropkick, sending Mangold stumbling into the ropes. She quickly grabs him by one of his legs and looks to dump him over the top rope. But Mangold's got a hold of the ropes. Jared then comes over, grabs Mangold's other leg and tries to help Jaxie dump Mangold over the top rope. But again, Mangold's got a hold of the ropes.
Clement: Jared and Jaxie are back at it. These two are trying thier hardest to dump Mangold over the top rope.
Grayson: I can't say I blame them. Mangold is clearly the biggest physical threat in this match.
Summers continues to chop away at Black in the corner. But Richards comes from behind with a clubbing shot across the back. He then takes Summers and delivers a headbutt, sending him stumbling back. Richards goes over, grabs Summers and runs towards the ropes. But Summers quickly switches positions with Richards and tosses him over the top rope and to the floor.
(Jason Richards – ELIMINATED)Clement: We've got our first elimination and it's Jason Richards! The Strong Style Wolf is gone from this match!
Summers goes over to pick up Black, but Black delivers a jawbreaker to boos from the crowd. Black then picks up Summers, scoops him up across his shoulder and goes for a running powerslam. But Summers slips down from behind and dumps Black over the top rope...
Grayson: Oh no!
Clement: ... and Joshua Blakc might be the next man eliminated...
… but Black lands on the apron. Summers turns around and sees this, so he goes back over to grab Black. But Black nails him with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. He then lifts up Summers to suplex him out to the floor. But Summers knees him in the head, forcing Black to drop him on the apron. Summers then nails Black with a right hand. Black comes back with a knife-edge chop. Summers delivers a kick to the midsection. Blake then nails him with a kick of his own. Summers then reaches out, grabs Black and tries to pull him off the apron. Meanwhile, Black is trying to pull free of Summers. While the two men scuffle on the apron, Karma runs across the ring and knock both men off the apron and to the floor.
(Matt Summers & Joshua Black – ELIMINATED).
Grayson: Yes! The Iron King strikes again!
Clement: While Joshua Black and Matt Summers were tussling on the apron, Johnny Karma took advantage and eliminated both men!
As Mangold goes over and barks insults down at both men, Jaxie runs up from behind and delivers a dropkick, sending Mangold teetering over the top rope. She then quickly gets up and pushes him completely over the top rope and to the floor to cheers from the crowd.
(Alistair Mangold – ELIMINATED)Grayson: What!?
Clement: Mangold is gone! Alistair Mangold is gone from this match! And he's been eliminated at the hands of Jaxie Wyatt!
Back in the ring, Karma takes Jared and whips him into the corner. Jared “Flair Flips” over the top turnbuckle and slips down onto the apron. As he stumbles along the apron, Karma runs over and knocks him down with a clothesline. But Jared only falls onto the apron. Back on the outside, Mangold is irate. He repeatedly slaps the apron with both hands before returning and kicking the barricade to boos from the crowd.
Clement: Mangold is irate. He thought he had this match in the bag. But clearly Jaxie Wyatt had other plans.
Jaxie grabs a hold of Holiday and sets him up for the Secondhand Rapture to cheers from the crowd. But Holiday shoves Jaxie off of him. She then stumbles over towards Mangold, who is back up on the apron. Mangold grabs her by the throat to boos from the crowd. Holiday then runs over to try to help, but Mangold uses his free hand to knock him down with a punch to the face. He then turns to Jaxie and taunts her before lifting her up, jumping off the apron and chokeslamming her to the floor to boos from the crowd.
(Jaxie Wyatt – ELIMINATED).Clement: Alistair Mangold just chokeslammed Jaxie Wyatt out of the ring...
Grayson: ... and out of the match!
Clement: He was already eliminated! That shouldn't count!
Back in the ring, Karma patiently waits for Holiday to turn around. When Holiday turns around, Karma connects with Check Your Chiclets, knocking him down to boos from the crowd. He then turns and sees Jared slowly getting back up. When Jared turns around, Karma runs over and clotheslines him over the top rope and to the floor to boos from the crowd.
(Jared James – ELIMINATED).
Grayson: The leader of the pride strikes again. So long, Jared. We'll see you in another two years!
Karma begins to circle the ring, basking in his glory to boos from the crowd. Once Jared gets up on the outside, Karma goes over towards the ropes and begins to really let him have it. He then climbs up onto the bottom rope and continues to point at Jared. But the mocking stops once Jared reaches up and grabs Karma's wrist to cheers from the crowd. Karma tries to pull away, but Jared won't let go. While Karma is struggling to get free, Holiday runs up from behind, grabs Karma's legs and dumps him over the top rope and to the floor to cheers from the crowd.
(Johnny Karma – ELIMINATED).
Grayson: No!
Clement: He's done it! Chaz Holiday has won this battle royal.
"Blackout" plays to cheers from the crowd.
Cruz: Here is your winner and the new Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion, CHAZ HOLIDAY!
The ref hands Holiday the newly created Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship belt. Holiday hugs the belt before raising it to cheers from the crowd.
Grayson: This isn't fair! That poor sport Jared James cost Johnny Karma the match and the title.
Clement: I don't have any sympathy for Johnny Karma. This is what he gets for attacking several FGA grapplers wit the Karmic Crab over the past two months.
Matt Summers heads back into the ring. He over over and hugs his mentor, congratulating him on his championship win.
