Jack Reynolds vs. Cyncity
As "Heir To the Throne" by I Am Abomination plays over the PA system, a man appears from behind the curtain. The man whom stands at five foot eight, walks directly to the center of the entrance ramp, sending a cold glaze of a stare towards all of the crowd. Jack drops to a knee, then lowers his other knee, so that he is on both knees. Jack then proceeds by letting both of his arms go outwards as to embrace whatever reaction it is the crowd is throwing at him, may it be positive or negative. A smirk envelopes his face as he twist his head off to the left and spits into the crowd, to their dismay of such actions. After a few more moments, Reynolds hops up to both of his feet and walks down the entrance ramp, both of his hands above his head, as if to try and avoid touching the crowd, showing a sign of feeling greater than them.
Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Windsor, Ontario, Canada! Weighing in at 205 pounds... JACK REYNOLDS!
Once Reynolds reaches the bottom of the ramp, he circulates around the ring, a fan is cheering for him and is holding his hand out for a high five. Reynolds goes to give him one before retracting his hand unto his wet hair, gathering some of the moisture and flicking it into the fans eyes, as he smirks and sends a slight (calm) dash for the ring apron, bending in one knee as he slides up onto the apron, grasping the ropes as he hoist himself up to a full standing position. Jack flings his right arm across his chest to grasp the ring rope behind him, with a forceful pull of that particular rope, Wilhelm spins his entire body around, allowing his left arm to latch upon the same rope. Thus resulting in Reynolds having his arms upon the rope and leaning on said rope gazing out into the crowd, a style that drastically resembles one of Chris Jericho's. Once stand Jack enters the ring through the centre ropes and walks to the middle in a slight spin holding his hands up once more, resembling the same pose as on the stage. His theme begins to fade out from thus point.
Let’s go!
Make no excuses now
I’m talking here and now
I’m talking here and now
The beginning of "Lets go" plays over the sound system until it's cut off by a static. The lights in the arena dim down to nothing as the static is replaced by the sounds of a power clap coming from through the audience.
Let’s go!
When the beat kicks in heavily, Cyncity slowly emerges from the back with her head tilted to the side, glaring at the ring with a small smile on her face. She stands at the top of the ramp for a moment, scanning the crowd, before she makes her way down the ramp, throwing her right arm in the air, taking in the audiences cheers.. She stops midway down the ramp and scans the crowd one more time, nodding her head and giving the audience a round of applause. She spins in a circle and does her trademark Sex Sells pose, her arms in the air, and buttom pushed out. Fans in attendance are heard whistling in her direction, as she breaks her pose and blows kisses to the audience.
Cruz: And his opponent, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! Weighing in at 127 pounds... CYNCITY!
No fear, and while you getting your cry on
I'm getting my fly on
Sincere, I see you aiming at my pedastal
I betta let ya' know
She slaps the hands of a few lucky fans, and even gives a few of them a hug as she marches her way down the ramp. She finally pulls away from the fans then continues her slow pace toward the ring.
Lets go!
She slides into the ring and crawls toward the middle before getting to her feet. She blows a kiss at the crowd and climbs up to the middle rope, throwing her arms in the air and taking in the ovations with a grin on her face. Finally, she hops back into the ring and walks over to her corner, stretching out her limbs and waiting for the match to begin.
Clement: Before we get underway, I'd like to welcome Corey Lazarus to the booth tonight.
Lazarus: Thanks for having me, guys.
Grayson: I'm big a fan of your work, Mr. Lazarus.
Lazarus: Oh yeah? What's your favorite thing that I've done?
Grayson: There's so much...maybe The Black Circle? I thought it was robbed come award time.
Lazarus: That's...that's very cool and smart of you to say, Evan. What about you, Kevin?
Clement: Honestly, I can't say I've really seen anything you've done since On the Downside, but I really enjoyed it.
Lazarus: ...let's call the match...
The bell sounds as both grapplers lock up. Reynolds quickly gains the upper hand by placing his opponent in a side headlock. But Cyncity begins to fight back, nailing him with several forearms to the ribs. Once the hold is loosened, she then shoves Reynolds off of her and into the ropes. But when Reynolds comes back, he knocks her down with a running shoulder block to boos from the crowd. He then heads into another set of ropes as Cyncity kips up to her feet. When Reynolds comes back, Cyncity leap frogs over him. Reynolds continues to run into the ropes. When he comes back, Cyncity brings him down with a headscissors takeover to cheers from the crowd. Reynolds gets up, but Cyncity brings him back down with an arm drag to cheers from the crowd.
Clement: Some of the lucha libre influence from Cyncity on display.
Lazarus: Yes, because only Mexicans know how to do arm drags.
Clement: That's not what I said...!
Lazarus: Subtext, babe. Subtext.
Cyncity quickly transitions into a shoulder lock. The ref asks Reynolds if he wants to give up. But Reynolds just waves the ref away. After slowly battling his way back up to his feet, Reynolds then rolls forward, turns, flips over with a handstand and reverses into an arm wringer to boos from the crowd.
Grayson: I can't understand why all of these people hate Jack Reynolds so much. I mean, look at the guy! He's a virtuoso!
Clement: He's also full of himself.
Lazarus: And he has every right to be. Look at him, being degraded by having to work with some part-time mommy who's lucky to even have a job after the shit she's pulled.
Grayson: Exactly!
Cyncity can be seen cringing in pain while the ref asks her if she wants to give up. But Cyncity refuses to quit. She then rolls forward, leans back, kips up, breaks free of Reynolds and counters with a step up enzuigiri to cheers from the crowd. While Reynolds is down on one knee, Cyncity runs into the ropes. When she comes back, she connects with a front dropkick to cheers from the crowd. Cyncity makes the cover...

Cyncity picks up Reynolds and goes for an irish whip. But Reynolds reverses, sending Cyncity into the corner. Reynolds then runs across the ring. But he runs right into an elbow to the face to cheers from the crowd. As Reynolds staggers back, Cyncity hoists herself up onto the middle ropes. She then dives off, going for a blockbuster. But Reynolds counters with a powerslam to boos from the crowd. He hooks the leg...

Cyncity kicks out.
Lazarus: See, she should've known that a technical guru like Jack Reynolds would catch her off guard right there. That's just too obvious a thing for an amateur to really understand, I guess.
Clement: And you didn't make mistakes earlier tonight?
Grayson: We should call the match going on right now and stop insulting our esteemed guest, Kevin!
Reynolds picks up Cyncity and nails her with an elbow strike, sending her stumbling into the ropes. Reynolds then makes his way over, grabs her by the arm and sends her into the ropes. When Cyncity comes back, Reynolds goes for a clothesline. But Cyncity ducks and runs into the ropes. When Reynolds turns around, Cyncity slides through his legs. When Reynolds turns around, Cyncity gets up off the canvas and throws out a kick to the midsection. But Reynolds catches her foot and spins her away from him. He quickly grabs her from behind and lifts her up for a belly to back suplex. But Cyncity rolls over his shoulder and shoves him into the ropes. When Reynolds comes back, he throws her down with a running STO to boos fro the crowd. He makes the cover.
Lazarus: See? THAT was beautiful!

Clement: The quick transitions?
Lazarus: No, Reynolds smashing a little girl down because she's trying to run with the big boys.
Reynolds picks up Cyncity and nails her with a punch to the midsection, doubling her over. He then goes for a vertical suplex, but Cyncity blocks the move. She quickly counters with a small package to cheers from the crowd...

Clement: You were saying?
Lazarus: Small packages aren't something one can scout all the time, Kevin. Maybe you should step into the ring and find that one out.
Grayson: Ouch...
After both grapplers scramble to get to their feet, Reynolds charges over at Cyncity. But Cyncity steps back, grabs the top rope and pulls down. Reynolds is then sent tumbling over the top rope and to the floor to cheers from the crowd.
Lazarus: Now watch, Cyncity will do something death-defying and then marvel that she doesn't break a nail...
As Reynolds slowly gets up and turns around, Cyncity connects with a slingshot spiraling cross body, knocking him down to cheers from the crowd.
Clement: That was an INCREDIBLE move!
Lazarus: It was even better a decade ago when people could still be marveled by a couple of twists and flips. Hey, Cyn...
Cyncity looks over at Corey as he stands up, waving at her.
Lazarus: Hey, did Brandon teach you that before or after he said no to the strap on?
Cyncity grabs the glass of water placed before Corey on the table and splashes it in his face before picking up Reynolds and rolling him back into the ring. After climbing back up onto the apron, she waits impatiently for Reynolds to get back up.
Grayson: On behalf of Frontier Grappling Arts, Mr. Lazarus, I'd like to apologize for that...!
Lazarus: What the FUCK...I come here to this little place to lend some credibility to everything, and THIS is the thanks I get?!
Once Reynolds gets up and turns around, Cyncity goes for a springboard clothesline. But Reynolds catches her in mid air, hoists her up and delivers an elevated gutbuster to boos from the crowd. He makes the cover...
Lazarus: I'd say that was a miscarriage...of justice, but I don't want to have my mic cut.
Clement: ...sonuva...

Cyncity gets her shoulder up to cheers from the crowd.
Grayson: And listen to these fans get behind Cyncity! It's downright disgusting after the way she treated the A-List Legend a few moments ago.
Lazarus: Really? They're getting behind her?
Clement: You must have water in your ears if you can't hear it, Corey.
Lazarus: Mr. Lazarus to you, Kevin.
Reynolds picks up Cyncity and shoves her into the corner. After making his way into the corner, he unleashes a series of knife-edge chops that echo throughout of the arena. He then takes Cyncity and whips her across the ring. He follows her into the opposite corner. But Cyncity runs up to the top turnbuckle, flips off and knocks him down with the Emphatic Whispers to cheers from the crowd. She turns over and makes the cover.

Lazarus: Good. Keep getting up, Jack. Show her what it means to be a real wrestler.
Cyncity picks up Reynolds and goes for an irish whip. But Reynolds reverses, sending her into the ropes. When Cyncity comes back, she takes down Reynolds with a floatover swinging neckbreaker. The crowd cheers as Cyncity is starting to build some momentum.
Clement: She's been on fire tonight, and these people are just waiting for her to finish it all.
Lazarus: And Reynolds is waiting for the perfect moment to take her down.
Cyncity picks up Reynolds, kisses him on the cheek and then runs into the ropes. But when she comes back, Reynolds delivers a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker to boos from the crowd.
Lazarus: YES! There it was! Now all he's got to do is stretch her and...
Reynolds picks up Cyncity and lifts her up for a shotgun stunner. But Cyncity slips down from behind, grabs him by the arm and delivers the Breathtaker to cheers from the crowd. She makes the cover.

Reynolds gets his shoulder up to boos from the crowd.
Clement: With everything she's done tonight alone, how can you keep harping on her?
Lazarus: Because I'm the L-A-Z, that's why.
Grayson: Does it have anything to do with some of the disparaging remarks she's made about you?
Lazarus: Absolutely. Glass houses, stones, blah blah blah.
Clement: That's a little petty, don't you think?
Lazarus: As petty as some twat who has done little beyond riding the coattails of others mocking somebody that made their own legacy, I'd say.
After picking up Reynolds and nailing him with a barrage of forearm strikes to the face, she then knees him in the midsection, doubling him over. After delivering a kiss on the cheek, Cyncity runs into the ropes. When she comes back, she turns Reynolds inside out with Beauty and the Knee to cheers from the crowd. After dragging him into position and turning him over on his back, Cyncity steps through the ropes. After making her way to the top turnbuckle, Cyncity flips off and connects with the Standing Ovation to cheers and applause from the crowd. She makes the cover.
Lazarus: Okay, I'll admit it...she's good...
