Entrance Music:
"Fell It All Around" by Washed Out
Ring Attire:
Jared wears navy blue trunks with three stripes down the side -- two white, with a grey one in-between -- of each leg that cut off mid-thigh. In addition to the trunks, he wears grey knee and elbow pads, navy wrestling boots, and he also tapes his wrists using white tape.
Ring Entrance:
The familiar riff of Washed Out's "Feel It All Around" permeates through the arena as Jared James, joined with Dexter Wolfe at his side, slowly waltzes out from the backstage area. A slight grin on his face, James paces his way down to the ring with Wolfe slightly trailing. During this short journey, he periodically stops to high five fans in attendance. Once at the ring, he rolls onto the mat and in one motion hops up onto his feet before running into the far corner -- jumping up to the second rope. He throws both arms into the air, enthusiasm plastered across his face, before jumping down to the mat once more and heading into his corner where he sits on the bottom rope in anticipation for his upcoming bout.
CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base:
Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Manager:
Dexter Wolfe (Rich Swann)
Gimmick:
Traditionally speaking, Jared James would best be classified as an anti-hero. He can be abbrasive, rude and just a downright jerk. However, when one hones in more on who Jared is, though, they would see that he is a perfectionist who is striving to attain in his lifelong goal of becoming a world champion and proving himself as one of the best in the business -- all while doing it the honorable way, without cheating or outside interference to help further his career due to a moral code he obtained early on in his career.
Bio:
Jared James's journey in professional wrestling has been a tumultuous one, with his own mental demons holding him from success and causing many -- including himself -- to question his dedication to the business. Since his arrival onto the scene in May of 2007 at the Connecticut-based Connecticut Forum Wrestling promotion, James has been a bit of a jack of all trades in a variety of promotions -- from the Canadian promotion, Simcoe Country Championship Wrestling to the Colorado-based Rocky Mountain PRO that James used to help operate. Finally, FRONTIER Grappling Arts came into Jared's crosshairs in the winter of 2011. During his first initial runs with the company, Jared competed for the then-FGA Heavyweight Championship twice: before a concussion and a existential crisis caused Jared to walk out on FGA prematurely. A full year later, in January of 2014, Jared returned to FGA: where he has since shown the indie scene that he can compete with the best of them: beating, specifically, former FGA Pride Champion Johnny Karma.
