STATS
Wrestler's Name:
Nate Adams
Height:
6'3"
Weight:
233 lbs
Alignment:
Face
Hometown:
Aurora, IL
Pro Debut:
Will Occur Sometime in 2013.
MOVESET
Grappling Style:
American-Style Pro Wrestling. Basic Technique & Holds. With time & experience he'll come up with flashier offense and bigger spots working off of his natural athleticism, but for now, it's very crisp, but bare bones. He'll make plenty of mistakes in execution simply from getting caught up in the adrenaline and the moment, and probably lose more than he wins because of it.
Finishing Moves:
Coming in fresh out of wrestling school, Nate hasn't developed a finishing move yet. Just like any rookie, he'll be doing a lot of trial and error, seeing what works for him and what doesn't. With time, when he hits upon something that works, he'll more than likely adopt it as a finish, but in the early going, expect a lot of wins to come via various roll-ups and pinning combinations.
Trademark Moves:
Once again, as a rookie, Nate hasn't developed a trademarked offense yet. Trial and error will win the day here. As he progresses through matches, finding moves that seem effective, he'll adopt them as pieces of major offense going forward.
(Basically, the idea is this: I want to treat Nate as an actual rookie, and let the match-writing sort of dictate what his moveset becomes with time. If particular spots are repeated, or just seem fitting, I'll start dropping them in as common moves, trademarks, and finishes. So Nate, from the jump, will be very much a "match-writer's discretion" type of character.)
Common Moves:
Forearm Strikes
Punches, Kicks, and Knees
Back Elbow
Clothesline
Standing Dropkick
Snapmare Takeover
Arm Drags
Hip Toss
Body Slam
Back Body Drop
Vertical/Belly-To-Back Suplex
Cross Body Block
Basic Wrestling Holds (Side Headlock, Rear Chinlock, Etc.)
Roll Ups (Inside Cradle, School Boy, Victory Roll, Etc.)
Other Moves & Holds at Match Writer's Discretion
ENTRANCE & ATTIRE
Entrance Music:
"Blue Orchid" by The White Stripes
Ring Attire:
Baby Blue Short Tights, Elbow Pads, & Knee Pads. White Wrestling boots with Baby Blue laces.
Ring Entrance:
"Blue Orchid" by the White Stripes hits over the speakers, and Nate Adams steps onto the stage, looking around the crowd and giving a little nod. He then jogs down the ramp, slapping hands with whatever handful of fans is actually interested enough to high five him. He circles the ring, hyping the crowd a bit before coming back around to slide inside. He scales the middle turnbuckle then, pumping a fist in the air before hopping back down and heading to his corner to prepare for the opening bell.
CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base:
Derrick Bateman
Gimmick:
Good-Natured, if a little mouthy, Rookie. Has confidence in his abilities, which will inevitably get him into trouble.
Bio:
Nate Adams has an unbelievably, well, typical backstory. A solid athlete all of his life, he picked up wrestling coming out of high school, and developed an affinity for the sport, namely because he seemed to be pretty good at it. Unwilling to waste his time actually getting a 'real' job, and bored by what he saw of life after school, Nate decided to plunge head long into wrestling training. After a few bumps in the road mostly brought on by his bravado, Nate is ready to make the jump to being a real, life, professional wrestler...whatever that might entail.
