Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship Match
(c) The Murder vs. Bloodbath & Beyond
The lights go dark and a red hue comes over the crowd as "Wrath of God" by PostHaste Music begins to play over the sound system. The fans boo as through the black curtain separating the locker room from the main arena steps Johnny Blayze - a Caucasian male with an athletic build and shaved head with a good growth of a brown beard and Chaths - a tan individual in a hooded, sleeveless trench coat and his hood covering his face. He holds his handmade tonfa with his right hand. Blayze is wearing tight black leather pants with red & yellow flames in front and "Blayze" on the back, black elbow pads, and black boots (all with flames emblazoned on them). His ensemble is completed by a black full-length hooded leather jacket with the hood pulled over his head.
Clement: And here comes Bloodbath & Beyond. These two men have wreacked havoc all weekend long...
Blayze stands at the top of the aisleway as the lights go back on. He then walks down to the ring, silent with a smirk upon his face. Chaths slowly surveys the arena as the crowd boos.
Grayson: ... yeah, they have. From the attack on Jason Richards to the reveal of Justice Young, they have definitely controlled the FGA landscape this weekend. Not to mention that Chaths scored the huge upset over Chris Bond for the Pride Championship. Can they score an even bigger upset and win the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles?
Once at ringside, Johnny Blayze and Chaths use the ring steps to enter the ring. Chaths stops at the top step to face the people that hate him. He removes his hood to reveal a dastardly smirk. Both men enter the ring through the top and middle ropes before strolling around the ring. The crowd continues to boo him as Blayze removes his hood. Chaths silently goes to his team's corner and removes his coat, handing it to a stagehand. Blayze removes his jacket and tosses it to the outside as Chaths places his tonfa in the corner. The music fades as Blayze backs into his corner. Chaths hops up to take a seat on the top turnbuckle, patiently waiting for their opponents to arrive. Manny Cruz then introduces both men to the crowd.
The lights go out in the arena as Alice In Chain's “Man In The Box” starts playing over the speaker system. The strobe lights begin flickering on the entrance curtain in pace with the drum and base line until they reach a crescendo at the chorus and Malcolm Drake and Bob Pooler burst through the curtain. Drake stops beyond the curtain, casting wary sideways glances at the fans along ringside. Pooler smiles as he hears the boos from the crowd. He makes his way down to the ring as he recoils from the hands of those closest to the guard rail.
Clement: And here are the champs. Of course, Bob Pooler is defending half of those belts in place of Dom Harter, who was arrested and suspended thanks to Chris Tryon.
Grayson: This is true. But let's make something clear. Pooler was always a Tag Champion, thanks to a little something called "Crow's Law."
Clement: Yeah, thanks to Malcolm Drake's "vision," any three members of The Murder can defend those belts. Having to defeat two of them was bad enough. Now you have to deal with any combination of those three.
Drake recoils from those fans that attempt to touch him, screaming at them and smacking himself in the head along the way to the ring. Drake slides until the bottom rope on his stomach and crawls to the nearest turnbuckle corner, where he slumps his arms over the middle rope, staring out at the crowd. Pooler rolls under the bottom rope and stands up in the corner, a smirk on his face as he stretches his arms across his chest and awaits the start of the match. Drake turns back towards the ring, slouching in the corner; scratching his head and chest hair.
Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. And it is for the Mid-Atlantic Team Team Championship. Introducing first, the challengers. Weighing in at a combined weight of 420 pounds. They are the team of Johnny Blayze and the Pride Champion, Chaths..... BLOODBATH & BEYOND!
(The crowd lets out a chorus of boos. But B&B remain unshaken.)
Cruz: And their opponents... weighing in at a combined weight of 401 pounds. They are the reigning and defending Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions. They are Malcolm Drake and Bob Pooler.... THE MURDER!
(The crowd really lets The Murder have it as both Drake and Pooler raise the titles in the air.)
Clement: Neither of these teams are fan favorites by any stretch of the imagine. But it should be an interested match none the less...
The bell sounds as both teams rush towards the center of the ring and trade blows.
Clement: And here we go!
Grayson: Look at them going at it, Kev!
The crowd cheers. But not out of love for one team or the other, but to see them beat the hell out of each other. Both sides continues to trade rights and lefts until The Murder gain the upperhand. While Chaths and Blayze appear dazed, Drake and Pooler run into the ropes. But when they come back, Chaths and Blayze take them down with jumping leg lariats. Chaths & Blayze take Pooler and toss him through the ropes and to the floor. They then turn their attention to Drake, who is slow to get up. They both grab Drake from behind, run into the corner and slam his head into the top turnbuckle. Chaths heads to the outside as Blayze turns Drake around and rocks him with a right hand. He cocks his fists back and blasts Drake with another right hand. Blayze throws a third punch. But Drake blocks it and counters with a punch of his own.
Drake turns around in the corner and punches Chaths. He then turns back and punches Blayze. Drake turns back and punches Chaths. When he turns back towards Blayze, Blayze gouges his eyes. The ref scolds Blayze for the illegal move, but Blayze pays him no mind. He then lunges forward and chokes Drake with both hands. The ref gives him until the count of five to let go.
Ref: ONE... TWO... THREE... FOUR...
Blayze lets go and tags in Chaths. Once Chaths gets in, B&B take Drake and whip him into the ropes. When the Head Crow comes back, B&B knocks him down with a double superkick. Chaths makes the cover as Blayze exits the ring.

Pooler breaks up the pin with a stomp to the back.
As Pooler heads back out, Chaths picks up Drake and shoves him into the ropes. As Chaths approaches, Drake catches him off-guard with a kick to the midsection. He quickly switches positions, presses Chaths up against the ropes and unleashes a series of knife-edge chops. He then goes for an irish whip, but Chaths holds onto the top rope. So Drake tightens his grip and goes for another irish whip. But again, Chaths squats down and holds onto the top rope. So Drake kicks him in the midsection, followed by a rake across the eyes. He then places Chaths in a side headlock and rakes his eyes along the top rope. When Drake lets go, a blinded Chaths stumbles around the ring. After sizing him up, Drake runs up from behind and connects with a high knee to the back, sending him stumbling into The Murder's corner. Drake tags in Pooler. When Pooler gets in, The Murder turns Chaths around and mudhole stomps him down in the corner.
Clement: Earlier it was Blayze and Chaths who had the advantage. But now the momentum seems to have swung over towards The Murder.
As Drake heads out of the ring, Pooler chokes Chaths with his boot. He pulls down on the top rope for leverage as the ref gives him until the count of five to break the hold.
Ref: ONE... TWO... THREE... FOUR...
Pooler lets go. He picks up Chaths, brings him from out of the corner and whips him into the ropes. When Chaths comes back, Pooler bends over to set up a back body drop. But Chaths stops, drops onto his back and nails Pooler with an uppercut, knocking him down. After kipping up to his feet, Chaths picks up Pooler. He sizes him up before delivering alternating shoot kicks to the leg and right legs. He follows up with a spinning heel kick, doubling him over. Chaths then heads into the ropes. When he comes back, Pooler stands up and catches him with a European Uppercut, sending him stumbling into the ropes. Pooler steps takes a few steps back before charging at Chaths. But Chaths ducks the oncoming attack and dumps him over the top rope...
Clement: Pooler goes to the outside!
...but Pooler lands safely on the apron. Blayze walks across the apron to attack, but Pooler meets him with an elbow to the face. When Pooler turns back to Chaths, Chaths nails him with a hard shoulder thrust through the ropes. He then turns Pooler around on the apron before applying the Bite of the Dragon. The ref gives him until the count of five to break the hold...
Ref: ONE.... TWO.... THR--
Drake gouges his eyes from behind, forcing Chaths to break the hold. As Drake goes back into his corner, Pooler collects himself on the apron. When Chaths gets up and turns around, Pooler knocks him down with a springboard dropkick. He makes the cover.

Grayson: Hey, when a title is on the line, you do what you have to do to win.
Pooler picks him up and whips him into the ropes. Drake reaches over and nails him with a knee to the back. As Chaths stumbles away from the ropes, Pooler runs over and spears him down with the High Velocity Hug. He makes the cover.

Clement: Pooler nearly broke Chaths in half with that spear. But the Pride Champion gets his shoulder up.
Pooler picks up Chaths and whips him into the corner. Pooler runs across the ring, but he runs right into an elbow to the face. As Pooler stumbles back, Chaths head from out of the corner, grabs him and runs over towards his corner. After Blayze drapes his foot across the top rope, Chaths runs over and slams Pooler's face against the sole of the boot. Blayze then puts his leg down and gets tagged in.
Grayson: And here comes the evil genius himself...
Once Bayze is in, he unleashes a series of shoulder thrusts to the midsection. He then motions to whip Pooler into The Murder's corner, but he quickly turns around and irish whips Pooler hard into the B&B corner. Blayze runs over, hops onto Pooler and monkey flips him from out of the corner. Blayze then heads out onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles. Once Pooler gets up and turns around, Blayze leaps off and knocks him down with a flying cross body block....
Clement: Blayze takes Pooler down with the high cross body. Could we have no champs...

Drake grabs Blayze, lifts him off of Pooler, turns and tosses him through the ropes and to the floor.
Clement: I'd normally argue for the ref to do something about this. But it's The Murder and Bloodbath & Beyond. They can beat each other to a pulp for all I care.
The ref scolds Drake as Drake heads to the outside. Both he and Blayze trade punches until Drake nails him with a knee strike to the midsection, followed by a snap DDT on the floor. He picks up Blayze and rolls him back into the ring. Pooler then quickly crawls over and makes the cover.

Blayze gets his shoulder up.
Pooler gets up and tags in Drake. Once Drake gets in, The Murder picks up Blayze and whips him into the ropes. When Blayze comes back, they throw him down with a double back body drop. Blayze can be seen arching his back in pain.
Grayson: This sort of reminds me of earlier this year when The Murder was tossing Blayze around.
Clement: Yeah, and you see what he's turned into because of it, right? A psychopath!
Grayson: And would you look who it is?
The crowd boos as Justice Young makes his way down to ringside to boos from the crowd.
Clement: I don't know what hold Blayze has over him. But I hope someone breaks it. It's a shame that this man would throw his career away to follow the likes of Johnny Blayze.
As Pooler heads out onto the apron, Drake sits up Blayze. He begins raining down elbows across the top of the head. He then places his hands on Blayze's traps before delivering several knees into the spine. Drake then kneels down on one knee as he fish hooks Blayze's mouth. Blayze cringes in pain as Drake tries to rip his mouth apart. The ref gives him until the count of five to break the hold.
Ref: ONE... TWO... THREE... FOUR....
Drake reluctantly lets go. As he stands up, he begins to slap Blayze upside the head, showing him the utmost disrespect. He then reaches down, grabs Blayze by his bushy beard and yanks him up to his feet. After letting him know just how little he thinks of him, Drake steps back and throws a Roaring Elbow. But Blayze ducks and counters with a backslide pin...

Grayson: Hello!
Clement Blayze may have been knocked out with that hard superkick to the jaw...
Pooler drops down to all fours. He begins to crawl over towards his corner. But Chaths gets in, grabs Pooler by the ankle and drags him back towards the center of the ring.
Grayson: Not so fast...
After turning Pooler over, Chaths gets nailed by several kicks from Pooler, forcing him to let go. Pooler then turns over and tries to crawl back over towards his corner. But Chaths pounces on top of him. He grabs Pooler by the hair with both hands and repeatedly rams his face into the canvas.
Clement: And Chaths will not let up.! He will not let Pooler tag out!
Grayson: Which is smart...
Chaths picks up Pooler and whips him into the B&B corner. Chaths charges into the corner. But he runs right into an elbow to the face, sending him stumbling back. Blayze runs into the corner. But he, too, runs into an elbow to the face. Pooler quickly steps through the ropes, springboards onto the top turnbuckle and leaps off, knocking B&B down with a flying cross body block.
Clement: And down goes Bloodbath & Beyond!
After rolling off of them, Pooler turns over and begins to crawl over towards his corner. Justice can be seen repeatedly slapping the apron, encouraging both Blayze and Chaths to get up.
Clement: Justice... I can't even believe I'm saying this... but Justice is trying to will his guys to get up to their feet.
Grayson: Surreal...
Clement: Meanwhile, Pooler is trying desperately to tag out. Can he do it?
After slowly getting up to his feet, Pooler leaps over and tags Drake in.
Grayson: And there it is...
As Chaths gets up, Drake runs over and connects with a yakuza kick to the side of the head, sending him stumbling through the ropes and to the floor. But before Drake can even turn around, Blayze grabs him from behind. He goes for a german suplex, but Drake blocks it. He then delivers a stomp to the foot, followed by an elbow to the face that breaks the hold. While Blayze is stunned, Drake runs into the ropes. When he comes back, he goes for a lariat. "Man in the Box" blares throughout the building to boos from the crowd.
Cruz: Here are your winners and STILL the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions, THE MURDER!
Pooler slowly rolls into the ring as the ref hands Drake both tag title belts. After helping Pooler up, The Murder raise their titles to a downpour of boos.
Clement: Johnny Blayze and Chaths really took it to Malcolm Drake and Bob Pooler. They didn't just control the match at times, but they dominated. But somehow, someway, those crows were able to fly away with the titles.
Grayson: And that's why they're the cha... wait a second...
"F#$k tha police, comin' straight from the underground!"
("F#$k Tha Police" blasts over the PA as The Usual Suspects step through the curtain as the crowd goes into a frenzy. Pooler's eyes widen with anger while Drake cocks his head to the head with disbelief.)
Clement: The Suspects are here! The Suspects are here! And they've got this crowd going wild.
Back and forth shots reveal both The Usual Suspects and The Murder mouthing something to each other in aggressive fashion. Pooler then sits down on the middle rope and holds the top rope up as Drake motions for The Suspects to get in the ring. But The Suspects refuse and motions for them to come meet them in the aisle.)
Grayson: Are we about to have a fight on our hands?
Clement: It looks like it...
Drake and Pooler look at each other, then back at the Suspects, then back at each other. After giving a knowing nod, they quickly drop and head out to the floor.
Clement: AW HERE WE GO!
Grayson: This is going to be good, Kev...
The crowd cheers as both teams are headed towards each other. But the cheers quickly turn to boos as security and backstage personnel quickly swoop in past The Suspects and step in between the two opposing forces. The crowd is hyped, shouting "LET THEM FIGHT!" over and over. But security and the backstage folks know of the carnage that will break out if that happens. The men begin to move The Suspects back to boos from the crowd. Drake smirks as Pooler makes a shooing motion with his hands. The Murder then raise their Mid-Atlantic Tag Title belts one more time to a collective chorus of jeers, boos and obscenities from the crowd....
